The Halloween Ball

Well, you asked for it, and here it is! The Halloween Ball is finally here, and I think this chapter is OK! It was so much fun writing this chapter, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it! I don't know why I bother doing an author's note, no one reads them. Anyway, onto my dear reviewers!

Piper's POV

I rushed to the room of requirement to summon mom. Turns out she was already there, waiting for us with all of the perfect outfits all set out. She even had amazing outfits for the boys. Then she set to work on making us all look stunning.

While she gave us dresses and outfits, the boys busied themselves by trying to teach themselves to dance. Draco was an expert, because his father had taught him at a very young age to have proper manners and be polite.

Draco started waltzing and all of the boys were trying their hardest not to crack up when Aphrodite called him "A true gentleman." Then we were off to go get dressed and it was the boy's turn to get smothered by Aphrodite.

Nico's POV

When all of the girls left to get ready, Aphrodite squealed and said "OMG, I've always wanted to get Percabeth ready for a date! This is going to be the best night of your life!" Percy blushed, and we all smiled, thinking about what he was planning for tonight.

Aphrodite started summoning outfits custom-made for everyone based on their godly parent. I got a midnight black tux, and Will got a matching yellow one. Percy handed Jason 5 drachmas and said "How did you know all that?!" Were they actually making bets on us?

Jason got a sky blue tux with white highlights, Grover had a light green tux, Leo had a red, yellow and orange tux that looked like it was on fire, Frank got a dark red tux, Percy got a dark blue tux with light blue highlights, Draco got a dark green tux with silver highlights, Neville got a camouflage-like tux, and Travis and Connor got matching blue and black ones. (Apparently those are the colors of Hermes. I looked it up.)

After lots of struggle, hair gel and selfies, we were finally ready to head out into the Great Hall. Jason wanted to see what the girls looked like, but Aphrodite smiled sweetly and said "You'll see soon enough. Now, go into the Hall and greet the wizards." And with that she disappeared in a cloud of mist.

"Well, let's out! I want to see what Harry and Ron look like, and their dates." Will said cheerily. We all followed him out into the Hall to awaiting crowds.

Harry's POV

Ron and I were awaiting our dates just outside of the Great Hall. Ron checked his watch. "It's 8:45. The ball's gonna start in 15 minutes. Where are they?" Just Ginny and Lavender approached us. I gasped.

Ginny was wearing a stunning red dress with sparkles dotting it and a lace cape. Lavender was wearing a light purple ball gown with a lace flower pattern and they were both wearing matching high heels and had their hair up in elegant braids. Ron took Lavender's hand and led her into the Great Hall. I followed quickly with Ginny.

We were about to start the ball when the Americans rushed into the hall and said "Has anyone seen the girls? We can't find them and that's bad." Nico and Will looked at each other like 'We don't have that problem.'

There was suddenly a whooshing noise and an elegant voice said "We're here. Calm down." Then all of the boys in the hall (including me) promptly gasped. They were GORGEOUS.

Piper had done miracles with everyone, and I was immediately jealous of them all. Piper had a sleeveless, color-changing dress that complimented her kaleidoscope eyes perfectly, Reyna had a purple, white and gold dress that went with her perfectly, which made me extremely angry that she wasn't my date.

Annabeth had a beautifully simple grey dress with sparkles on it, Calypso had a simple white, sleeveless dress that made her look like a goddess, and Hazel had on a dress looked like it was literally made of precious stones, gems and minerals that made her glow.

Thalia had on a sleeveless navy blue and silver dress that had an amazing ombre feature, Raven had a black and purple ombre dress, Katie was wearing a yellow floral lace dress, Juniper was wearing a light green floral lace sleeveless dress, but what most impressed me were Luna and Hermione's dresses. WOW, whoever got them ready has got some SKILLLLLLS!

Luna was wearing a ombre white to navy blue dress that made her skin and eyes glow. Neville looked awestruck. Hermione looked even more stunning than she had last year, if that was even possible.

She was wearing a light blue off-the-top dress with light blue high heels that made all of the boys in the area swoon. Ron looked furious because that was the second time that Hermione had looked fantastic and she wasn't his date. I heard him whisper "Who is her date then? Who is that lucky?" Ron quickly got his answer, but not the one he was looking for. Draco approached Hermione and said "You look splendid." Then they kissed and Ron did something I would never imagine I would get to see.

Ron screamed at the top of his lungs "WHAT THE FUCK OH HELL NAW DRACO HELL NO THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN IF I HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT FUCK" And stormed up to Draco, looking for a fight.

Draco looked like this didn't bother him at all and simply said "Lucky for me, you won't have anything to do with it." Ron screamed at him again and threw a very sloppy punch at his face. Draco calmly blocked it and threw a actually clean punch at his face.

Ron stumbled back, nose bleeding, and two times angrier. The Americans winced when they saw the nosebleed, like a nosebleed had caused something bad for them, or something like that. Ron charged again and Draco side-stepped calmly and tripped him, sending Ron onto the floor with a "THUD."

McGonagall rushed over yelling "Ronald! Stop! Mr. Malfoy is not doing anything wrong! Now, let's get this ball started!" Ron shot a deadly glare at Malfoy, trying to be intimidating, but the feeling of death in the room increased tenfold. Ron backed way after that.

Hazel's POV

The ball went pretty smoothly after the whole ordeal, except all of the demigods except Annabeth were super excited for what was going to happen soon. Annabeth didn't know, so we were all awaiting that moment, especially Piper, her inner Aphrodite showing.

Leo and Jason were at the snack bar when Dumbledore made an announcement. "Please clear the dance floor for one minute." Piper squealed. "This is it!" She said, letting her inner Aphrodite show.

Annabeth looked confused as she and Percy were the only ones left on the dance floor. Percy took a deep breath and got on one knee. Everyone in the Hall gasped and I heard Harry say "But they're really young!"

"Annabeth Chase, we've been through so much together. Now, I want to build something permanent together. Will you marry me?(I'm sorry I'm so bad at speeches.)" Annabeth was crying and said "Yes, of course, Seaweed Brain." Everyone cheered and we resumed the ball.

I was dancing with Frank when I spotted Harry throwing Percy and Annabeth jealous looks. I thought I heard him mumble "So Annabeth doesn't like me better. I could've sworn she did. Pfft." I put the thought aside when Ron approached our group looking extremely remorseful.

"What do you want?" Leo said, squinting at him. Ron looked at us and said "Lavender told me everything, since she's your sibling, Piper. I'm SOOOOO sorry! I didn't know!" He said looking at his feet.

"WHAT?! Lavender told you?! WHYY would she trust YOU of all people?!" Will said, astounded. Ron looked taken aback, but continued anyway. "I didn't know, but Harry still doesn't know, he's going to be a whole lot angrier now that I'm siding with you guys."

"Well, thank you for admitting your mistakes, but…. Are you one of us? Maybe a legacy?" Jason said. Harry was throwing him suspicious looks and was whispering to Ginny. I shook his hand and congratulated him, but Nico glared at him.

"How do we know you actually know what we are, and that you aren't trying to trick us? Who are your parents?" He asked. Ron said "Molly and Arthur Weasley, but my dad was a son of Hecate." He said the last part a lot quieter.

Percy stood up and proclaimed "He shall join us on the Argo II. Come with us." Ron beamed and said "Yay!" and started following us. Just then Harry walked over and said "What are you doing, Ron?" Ron looked down at the ground awkwardly.

"Uhhh…. They have let me join them in their quarters, because I have realized that I am technically one of them, now that I have taken it into consideration." He said. Harry looked shocked at first, but then looked extremely angry.

"YOU'RE SIDING WITH THEM NOW?! BETRAYAL!" He screamed, and then stomped off towards Seamus and Dean. Ron looked sad, but regained his confidence and we walked out of the Great Hall, expecting a peaceful night. Oh, how wrong we were.

And that's it until Thursday! I will now be on a schedule of updating Mondays and Thursdays, because I'm already behind in online school. Ah, coronavirus.
