Risa Fukuhara's day started out as normal as ever. She was going to the market to look at ingredients and to talk to a new vendor about making a contract with them, but then came screaming from somewhere nearby and what sounded like a large fight happening could be heard coming from the same direction.
Risa hurried off to see if she could help in any way, even though she was no hero, and she stumbled across a group of villains trying to flee the scene of the crime, a place where previous villainous gangs had engaged in drug-related turf wars. Things were getting heated and Risa did what she could to help people flee the battleground but before long one of the intern heroes- Red Riot- from the Fat Gum agency pursued one of the villains to where she and at least a half dozen other people still remained.
Red Riot told all the bystanders to retreat as the villain taunted him for acting high and mighty- his blades striking the hero in training and breaking through his skin, sending him flying back. The villain arrogantly claimed he'd be able to save his friends and sent multiple swords at Red Riot, who hardened his body further and broke through his attacker's assault- breaking the many swords apart. Risa watched with the others as Red Riot seemed to reach the pinnacle of his hardening, revealing his new special move: Red Riot Unbreakable, and armored more than ever before, Red Riot charged forward to victory. The Blade Villain resisted and used a heavy concentration of his blades to blast the hero in training, but Red Riot punched the swords to pieces and readied his ultimate move. Armed with Red Riot Unbreakable, he delivered his Super Move Red Gauntlet, a powerful focused punch that broke through all the blades and finished the fight. Red Riot Unbreakable's time limit ended just as the Blade Villain fell unconscious, and Risa and the others were impressed with Red Riot's fury and skill- even for one still in training.
Risa's attention turned to the defeated man as he started to cry and ask for forgiveness. Red Riot started to try and relate with the villain, but Risa sensed something amiss and tried to tell him to watch out. Her warning came too late, though, and Red Riot fell for his ruse.
The Blade Villain used blades from his back to propel himself away and he nearly escaped but Fat Gum himself intercepted him and trapped the villain inside his stomach. Risa watched as Fat Gum reminded Red Riot to always subdue a villain as quickly as possible and to never fall for their schemes. The hero in training thanked Fat Gum for saving the day and voiced how impressed he was by how quickly the Pro Hero subdued the criminal it took so long to defeat.

Risa stayed back a few moments as the civilians all approached the heroes to thank them and praise the hero in training. When things seemed to settle down a bit, she approached Red Riot. "That was quite the fight, kiddo. Thank you for protecting us," she said as she offered him a smile, "you really put yourself on the line for us."
"Thanks," Red Riot said, blushing a bit with embarrassment.
"You're going to be a great hero someday," Risa smiled at him, then pulled a card from her pocket and handed it to him. "Here, as thanks, why don't you guys come by and I'll treat you."
Red Riot took the card and looked down, seeing it was a business card for a restaurant called Mazeru. "Thanks, miss!" he called as she walked away, getting a wave in response. He turned to Fat Gum as he rejoined him.
Fat Gum shifted his gaze for a moment from Red Riot to where Risa stood with an officer. "What's that?" he asked, looking at the card in Red Riot's hand.
"Oh, it's a business card for a place called Mazeru," Red Riot said, looking down at it for a moment, "I think it's a restaurant?"
Fat Gum glanced up as Risa took her leave. 'Who is she? She seems familiar.'
"She offered to treat us if we stopped by," Red Riot said. "We should go there for lunch tomorrow!"
Fat Gum smiled at that and chuckled. "Sure, let's try it out."
Risa stepped through the side entrance that led up into her home and shrugged off her jacket. "Gramps, I'm home!"
"Risa, you're late," an elderly man said as he peeked his head out of the kitchen, "is everything alright? Did something happen?"
Risa ran her hand over her shoulder and neck. "So idiot thugs going around with Trigger again..."
Her grandfather, a man named Seiryo Fukuhara, sighed. "When will they learn that it's dangerous?"
"I don't know, but it sounds like they were trying to peddle it in the usual place." Risa leaned up to kiss her grandfather on the cheek before heading down the hall. "I'm going to take a shower real quick, then I'll fill you in, 'kay?"
"Sounds good, I'll put some tea on."
Risa was quick to hop in the shower and get cleaned up from all the dirt she had been covered in from the sidelines, then pulled on a tank top and some pajama shorts before going into the kitchen with a towel draped over her shoulders.
"So were you able to get to the market before that debacle?"
Risa nodded, sinking into a chair. "Ya, Ms. Fujima is willing to consider the offer but she'd like to run it by her husband first. He's set to return from out of town later this week."
"That's good. I do hope they will agree. It'd be nice to do business with them; it's been some time since we've had a good exotic goods vendor."
Risa accepted the mug of tea as Seiryo handed it to her. "Thanks." She took a few sips and sighed with content. "One of these days, you'll have to show me how you make this."
Seiryo chuckled. "Or I can just take it to the grave with me," he joked.
"Mmm, by the way, I invited some people over for a free meal. There's only two or three of them, so it's no biggie really and I can cover the cost myself if needed."
Seiryo raised a brow at her. "Oh? How unlike you, Risa dear."
"What? It's just my way to thank them."
"If they're heroes, do you really think it's a good idea given our usual customers?"
Risa smirked. "They're just going to have to deal with it."
Seiryo rolled his eyes and smirked in turn. "I forget how like your mother and grandmother you really are. Beautiful and terrifying wrapped up together."
Risa grinned. "What can I say? It's a blessing and a curse." She finished her tea. "Anyway, I have no idea when they'll come, but I just wanted to give you a head's up."
"Thank you," Seiryo chuckled. "Well, I'm going to turn in for the night. Don't stay up too late, alright?"
"I won't, I promise. Night, Gramps, love you."
"Love you too, Risa."
