Harry's POV
After the party, which I found kind of lame (except for when I kissed Ginny, that part was great), I headed back into the Gryffindor common room to do some homework.
Pssh, like that was ever going to happen.
When I was just settling down into the big bean bag chair in the darkest corner of the room when suddenly I got a blinding headache that distracted me from getting any sort of work done.
Ah, what a tragedy.
Meanwhile, in my headache, an actual tragedy was unfolding before my eyes.
In my headache, I was having a vision of Sirius. Shit, that's never good.
In said vision, Sirius was tied to a chair in what I realized was the basement in the Ministry of Magic (which I only knew about because Hermione and Ron had snuck down there to make out, only to discover what it was full of).
The place itself was huge, with chandeliers on the ceiling and full of a ton of cursed and banned wizarding items that almost everyone (*cough* Fred and George *cough*) had forgotten about.
Anyway, Sirius was in front of two enormous thrones, and two tinier thrones, all of which were occupied.
In the large ones, Atlas and Hyperion sat, while Voldemort and a tall, hooded figure that I recognized as a dementor. Except, the dementors' robes were silver, and it had two normal dementors guarding it. I realized that it must be the leader of the dementors, and immediately started to panic a bit more than I already was.
Hyperion boomed, "WE HAVE ALLOWED THE HALF-BLOOD ACCESS TO THIS CONVERSATION. HARRY POTTER, ARE YOU HERE?"
I weakly raised my wand and sent up a small flurry of red sparks, to which Voldemort started squirming and mumbling, "I can feel his presence, oh how easy it would be for me to just kill him now…"
Atlas said "SILENCE, PUNY MORTAL," Voldemort started stammering, claiming he wasn't mortal, "NOW THAT WE HAVE THE HALF-BLOOD'S ATTENTION, LET US GET TO THE MATTER AT HAND.
"YOU HAVE SOME THINGS WE WOULD LIKE. VOLDY HERE WANTS YOU, IMMORTALITY AND THE PROPHECY, AND WE WANT THE SEVEN AND THEIR COMPANIONS. YOUR SCHOOL WOULD BE NICE TOO.
"BRING ALL OF THEM TO US BEFORE THE SUMMER SOLSTICE ARRIVES-" he was cut off by Hyperion who mumbled "The summer solstice is too far away, make it closer."
"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT JEEZ YOU'RE IMPATIENT." Atlas sighed loudly. "BRING THEM TO US BY THE SPRING EQUINOX. THERE, ARE YA HAPPY?" Hyperion nodded silently and smiled, which I found incredibly strange.
I sent up red sparks that spelt out "Why should I do it?" Hyperion said "IF YOU DO NOT MEET OUR DEMANDS, SIRIUS BLACK HERE," he gestured to SIrius, "SHALL BE KILLED, AND WE SHALL INVADE HOGWARTS AND GET THEM OURSELVES. WE SHALL ACQUIRE THEM THE EASY WAY OR THE HARD WAY. UNDERSTAND?"
"More like the hard way or the harder way," I mumbled, but I sent up green sparks to show that I understood.
Atlas nodded, and Sirius sent me a look of terror and determination, before my vision faded into black and I woke up still sitting on my bean bag chair in the Gryffindor common room.
I jumped up and ran to tell the others.
Fiona's POV
After Ciara had given me a tour of her house, I sat down on her pale blue couch and ate some spaghetti that she had given me. She kept looking at me kind of weirdly, and I wondered why.
Then I remembered my legs. Wait, could she see through the Mist? If she could… Well, I didn't want to think about that.
I continued eating my spaghetti, until I couldn't take it anymore. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
She looked at me warily and said "What's… what's wrong with your legs? Why.. are they like that, and why am I the only one who can see them? Am I going insane?" She was freaking out and making extreme hand movements.
I decided that I should put her out of her misery, but how? Should I tell her the truth? Also, how could she see through the Mist? Was she a demigod? Before I could answer her questions, there was a knock at the door.
Ciara walked towards her door, shooting me one last panicked look, before opening her door. In walked a guy, about 6 feet tall with short dark hair and hazel eyes. I could immediately tell that this was her brother.
Wait, shit, that's not good. If she could see through the Mist, then could he?
He looked at me, judging my every detail, and by the look in his eyes, I could tell he couldn't see my legs. Whew. But I still had Ciara to worry about. I brushed that problem aside and saved the stress for later.
"Sis when you told me that you had brought a beat-up girl to your house, you didn't mention she was hot!" The guy exclaimed, and Ciara mumbled "I'm pretty sure I did…"
He sat down next to me on the couch, stuck out his hand and said "My name's Robert. What's yours?"
I self-consciously mumbled "Fiona Byrne. Nice to meet you," and politely shook his hand even though I don't want to. Still, I didn't want to be rude…
He continued talking for a while, though I wasn't really listening. I was more paying attention to the fact that Ciara apparently mentioned that I was hot to her brother. I didn't really know how to feel about that, because I was normally assumed straight, but would it really hurt if I played for the other team?
That's ridiculous, I told myself, once she finds out what I really am, she won't care that I'm cute.
While wallowing in self-pity and sorrow, I didn't notice that Ciara and Robert had gone off to the kitchen to talk privately.
Third person POV for Robert and Ciara's conversation
Ciara led Robert into the kitchen to talk in private, leaving a silent Fiona on the couch. She leaned against the counter and sighed.
"Why'd you have to flirt with the incredibly cute girl I rescued, cleaned and *cough* saw naked?" She exclaimed
Robert responded "I couldn't help myself! You didn't say how cute!" He flailed his arms to add effect, as if that did anything.
Ciara sighed and said "Look, do you know how long it's been since I've actually had a steady relationship with a girl? Huh? 7 MONTHS! Listen, it's been hard enough since mom disappeared, and dad still hasn't made himself present in our lives since, well, infancy, but I think I'm faring quite well… Though it's seriously hard to find any lesbian girls who are willing to talk to me, much less go out with me! You have a fucking herd of fangirls waiting eagerly to go out with you, can't you just let me try to have this one? Please?"
Robert sighed, weighing his options. He could let his sister be happy, it would do her well, but on the other hand, that Fiona was really hot. Happiness for her, or for me? Though she did have a point on the fangirl front…
"Alright, you can have her, but if and when you fail miserably, I call dibs." She squealed and hugged me tightly. "I promise, you won't regret this!" Then she dashed out of the room to her guest, who had probably noticed their absence by then.
Voldemort's POV (I bet you weren't expecting that, huh?)
After the silhouette of Harry Potter disappeared, atlas and Hyperion turned to Black, who was still writhing, as if Harry could still see him.
"WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITH HIM?" Hyperion said, gazing curiously at him. Atlas laughed. "FOOLISH HYPERION. IF THE BOY DOESN'T HOLD UP HIS END OF THE DEAL, WE SHALL DESTROY HIM. FOR NOW, THROUGH HIM IN THE DUNGEON!"
As Hyperion cautiously picked up a squirming Black, I followed them into the depths of the castle. When getting a chance to speak with Black in private, I was going to take advantage of that opportunity.
When we reached the dungeon, Hyperion set him down, chained him to the wall by his wrists, and walked out, not noticing my presence (as always).
I stepped out of the shadows, revealing myself to Black. He gasped, and said "YOU!" violently, and thrashed even more, attempting to escape.
I approached him and stood in front of him, hoping to intimidate him a bit (I know both Voldemort and Sirius are a bit OOC, but just go with it….). I don't think it worked.
Sirius said "What do you want with me? Don't hurt Harry!" And thrashed. I said "If you want to see your godson alive, you will not tell anyone about this conversation."
Sirius squinted at me, and I saw that as an emphasis to go on. "I have a proposition for you. The titans treat me like shit, but if I don't go along with their plan, they will kill everyone, and I want to do that."
Sirius said "Why are you telling me this?"
"I'm getting to that," I sighed, "I want the chosen one, but I want Atlas and Hyperion to go down even more. So here's my plan. When Harry comes to rescue you, I will battle him as promised, but I won't try at all to kill him, and then-"
"Wait wait wait wait wait, you WON'T try to kill him? That sounds very non-Voldemort-like, why should I trust you?" Sirius interrupted.
"Oh god no, never trust anyone, but just believe me. Then I will pretend to be beaten and disappear sneakily, hoping the titans don't see as they battle the seven, and then gather the death eaters, to hopefully launch an attack on Atlas and Hyperion."
"What do I get out of this?" Sirius asked, looking at me suspiciously.
"I won't kill you or your godson for now, is that not enough?"
He nodded, and we shook hands.
Weird, I know, but I needed to do the thing with Sirius, and Ciara's brother might *cough* will *cough* come back later. If it wasn't comepletely obvious, I don't know how to write for Sirius or Voldemort, don't criticize me on that please. Did you like Voldemort plans? Tell me! So… FOLLOW, FAVORITE, REVIEW! Also, I want to rename this fic, any ideas?
