Zvinosuruvarisa, ini handina Percy Jackson kana Harry Potter …

Percy's POV

We were cleaning up after the party when Harry burst into the Great Hall, looking disheveled. He rushed up to us, and stood there with his hands on his knees, panting and spluttering.

Ron was the first to respond. "What is it, Harry? What's wrong?"

I noticed that he immediately assumed that something was wrong. Ah, the life of a demigod.

"SIRIUS-" he said straightening up, "SIRIUS IS IN DANGER. WE HAVE TO GO SAVE HIM CAN ANY OF YOU TELEPORT, HE'S IN THE MINISTRY-"

He was cut off by Hermione. "Wait wait wait Harry what's going on? What happened to Sirius?"

"He - he's been taken hostage by Voldemort, Atlas and Hyperion and taken to the basement of the Ministry of Magic and they're holding him for ransom. In conclusion, if we don't give them myself and the 7 by the spring equinox, Sirius will be murdered, and they'll capture us all by force and invade the castle. DO I make myself clear on what we need to do?"

Ron solemnly nodded, and Harry continued. "Alright, to launch a rescue mission, we'll need transportation. As I asked earlier," he turned to where the 9 of us were clustered, "can any of you teleport?"

Hazel said, "Children of Hades can, so we might need Draco. Though, it will take a lot of power out of us, so maybe the people from Hogwarts can get there a different way?"

Harry looked wary (heheheheheh), but nodded. "We can use brooms, maybe."

I nodded, and said "I can summon some pegasi if it's necessary. Would that help?"

Ron looked ecstatic about the prospect of flying, whereas Hermione, not so much. Harry said " Thank you Percy, that would be very appreciated. When should we leave?"

"Maybe during the exams, Harry could get a pass from Dumbledore?" Ron looked hopeful about skipping out on schoolwork, but Harry shook his head, sighing.

"We'll do it in say, two weeks? Enough time to prepare?"

We all agreed (except Ron, who still wanted to miss exams), and set out to our separate dormitories for the night.

Fiona's POV

After Ciara and Robert's very not-quiet conversation, Robert announced that he needed to leave, important meeting. What a lame excuse, but I still pretended to be sad.

I wasn't.

When he was walking out the door, he winked at me, and I noticed a glare that Ciara sent him. What was that about? I brushed it off as nothing, but I couldn't help but wonder why that made me so happy.

Once he left, she leaned against the door and sighed. "Finally."

"Don't you like your brother?" I asked in confusion.

She sighed. "Yes, but sometimes he can be a bit much… You know?"

My mind immediately flashed to my empousa sisters and nodded.

"So, are we going to talk about your legs?" She said strangely calmly, even though the situation was anything but.

I was about to come up with a very, very lame excuse about a disease when a crashing was heard.

Ciara said "We gotta go! I'll explain in the car! Just grab some random clothes from my closet and RUN!"

I was used to this kind of stuff, so I sprinted over, grabbed a random shirt and pants, and jumped out the window.

Ciara yelled after me "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? YOU COULD HAVE KILLED YOURSELF!" I landed gracefully on the sidewalk, and looked up at her.

"But I didn't, did I? I'm pretty hard to hurt, if I do say so myself…" She looked at me incredulously, and sprinted off.

About 30 seconds later, she showed up and showed me to her silver 2015 Toyota Prius and shoved me in the front seat.

She looked over her shoulder and screamed, hitting the gas pedal and speeding off onto the streets. I looked to where she was looking, and saw a hellhound, about 9 feet tall and with sleek black fur and glowing yellow eyes.

As we drove on, I asked "Where… exactly are we going?"

I don't know yet, but I guess we'll find out, eh?" She responded.

"I guess so…"

She smiled at me, and since I hadn't slept in such a long time, I leaned my head against the seat and fell asleep.

.oOo.

After a refreshing 3-hour nap, I woke up to the sound of a fast-food restaurant. I wasn't in the car anymore, these were completely new surroundings.

I shot up, and looked around frantically, trying to find Ciara. When I concluded that I was indeed on my own, Ciara walked over (proving me wrong, carrying two bags.

"I GOT CHIPOTLE!" She yelled happily, and handed me a bag. "I was hungry, it was 1 am, and this was the only restaurant that was open 24 hours. Plus, who doesn't like chipotle? I got you a burrito, is that OK?"

I nodded weakly, immensely grateful that Ciara had discovered me two days ago. She was a saint.

She handed me my burrito, and I quickly devoured it, not having had food in… well, the time didn't matter, but it had been at least a few weeks since I had consumed anything.

"Woah, woah woah, slow down there, you're going to be sick!" Ciara chuckled, and I looked at her warily, before resuming eating.

After finishing consumption of my burrito, as well as two bags of chips and two cups of Coca-Cola, I turned to Ciara and said "So, you're, what, 17? Why are you living on your own? You got a story behind it?"

She sighed and put down her tacos. (Yep, I'm doing this, don't judge me, I need more character development on Ciara.)

"Well, it all started when my mom was murdered….

DRAMATIC FLASHBACK (with narration, that looks like this)

Now this murder wasn't normal. When I was 4, I came home from preschool to 2 men walking up to our front door. At first, I thought it was the postman or something, but then they morphed into something… inhuman. They had turned into… black mist or something, black mist shaped like people. I rushed to hide behind a nearby bush, and they floated through the door, and it turned the door black."

I snuck through the back entrance, and followed them silently. The next thing I know, I hear a scream from the kitchen and the mist-people are surrounding my mom, suffocating her.

"Where are they?" One of them rasped, tightening the circling, choking her further.. "Don't touch… my babies. They have done nothing wrong. Take me instead!" She pleaded, clutching her throat and falling to her knees. Meanwhile, four-year-old me was standing in the hallway, absolutely traumatized, but not knowing what to do. Then I heard something that would stick with me for life.

"The prophecy must not come true. We are here to make sure it doesn't." The other mist-guy said darkly (heheheh). My mother laughed. "My daughter's fate is not up to you. The prophecy is already at hand. YOU can do nothing to stop it."

Both mist-people snarled. Then they morphed into one, and killed my mother. ANd I could do nothing to stop it.

END OF THE DRAMATIC FLASHBACK

"Since then, I discovered that could see things other people couldn't, do things other people couldn't do, and I've been trying to find the mist-people, and make them pay ( cliché ) for what they did to my mother." She concluded solemnly.

I thought about what she said for a moment, before asking "Wait, what do you mean 'do things other people couldn't'?"

She held up her hand, and a small pool of darkness gathered there, pulsing and bending, like the universe was all there, in the palm of her hand. I gasped.

"Demigod, maybe? Has to be an extremely powerful one…" I muttered under my breath, looking away for a moment. She looked at me suspiciously, and I coughed non-convincingly to cover it up.

"Have you ever met your father? You didn't mention him in the story…" I asked.

She shook her head and said "My mother told me that he died when I was little, but based on your question, I doubt that… Alrighty then, time to go. Do you know a place where we can stay for a while?"

"Yeah, I do. Can I drive your car?"

She nodded, and we headed out of Chipotle.

I wrote this at 1 am, so if it's weird or badly written, you can blame my sleep schedule for that… This chapter was just to develop the plot, and have character development on Ciara. Don't judge! As always, FOLLOW, FAVORITE, REVIEW!
