The wrong charming chapter 3

I forgot to mention there's a tonne of gay couples in here, Raven and Cerise are together as are kitty and Maddie. I'm open to couple suggestions and I do t own ever after high.

After princessology Apple went to her last class before her lunch period which was dance, a class she normally enjoyed but right now she didn't look forward to it due to the internal gay panic she was experiencing.

She couldn't get the image of Darling Charmings wink and smirk out of her head and she felt herself flush again making her hurry to her dance class to try and forget it. Not realising how fast she had been walking,Apple burst through the door to the dance studio and drew the attention of the other girls in there, everyone staring at the usually poised princess some with frowns and raised eyebrows. Muttering an apology to the class and madam Yaga she moved to the back of the class away from prying the class had settled down madam Yaga began the Lesson.

"Now class seeing as there is an odd number of students today I've had to pull some other students who had free time and were willing to help out with this class" as she said this the doors opened and a handful of people came into the room and stood at the front of the class waiting for further instructions from the teacher.

"Now each of you will pick a partner and pair up for the traditional waltz please go and find someone who doesn't have a partner, if you do have one then go and stand next to them so those that don't are easier to find."

The girls that had regular partners moved around the room and did as instructed while the people at the front watched to see who was alone before going to pick their partner from the remaining girls. Unbeknownst to her Apple hadn't realised that she was alone until she felt the presence of someone next to her and looked up to see who was near her, her face paling as she saw who it was.

"May I have this dance oh fair lady?" Darling Charming asked with a slight bow and her hand extended towards Apple asking to be her dance partner offering her a chance to refuse.

Apple bit her lip before looking around noticing that her only option was to accept Darlings invitation as everybody else was paired up already and waiting for the teacher to start some music and to announce their starting positions.

Nervously Apple accepted Darlings hand and hoped to whatever gods were listening that her palms weren't too sweaty. Apple placed her hand into darlings and noted the small jolt of electricity she got from the contact of skin on skin noticing that Darling seemed mildly affected by the touch as well.

Tapping the gramophone to get everyone's attention madam Yaga cleared her throat before speaking.

"Please assume the starting positions, that is whomever is the leader shall place their hand on the followers waist and the follower shall place their hand on the leaders upper shoulder while both of you hold each other's hands and extend them away from your bodies. Like so"

Madam Yaga demonstrated each position for each person walking through the room and correcting those that needed to be corrected before resuming to the front of the class and talking again. She talked about the beat of the waltz and how to move with each other as well as what the dance entailed from started to finish. Once she was sure everyone understood and was ready she again tapped the large gramophone and slow music began to play, prompting the couples to start moving as she kept count of the beats out loud.

The couples began the dance, some flowing elegantly from move to move with style and grace others fumbling through doing their best to stay concentrated without stepping on each other's toes frowning as they struggled.

Apple and Darling where in the former group of couples who managed to move effortlessly with each other, flowing through the movements seamlessly trusting their partner to have control. Apple was amazed at how confident Darling was in leading her through the complicated dance.

" Shes so graceful and elegant but also strong and firm and confident in leading me" Apple was surprised to find that Darlings hands were surprisingly strong but not crushing her hands uncomfortably ,there was just the right amount of pressure there.

Unlike other couples who were looking at their feet Apple was looking at Darlings face noting the girls beautiful features and how she held herself with pride, feeling drawn to Darling in a way that she had never felt towards anyone before. Darling shifted pulling Apple in closer causing Apple to make a small noise only noticeable to her dance partner, causing the silver haired girl to smirk and Apples heart to flutter.

"We fit so well together and it doesn't feel awkward in fact it's kind of nice, I wouldn't mind dancing with her more" Apple thought to herself.

After a few more steps half of the couple twirled out before being pulled back towards the other half repeating the steps a few more times before the music started to wind down and the real test of trust began, for at the end of this dance the leader was required to dip their partner and hold them in that position for a small length of time.

Apple became nervous as the beat began to slow and she felt herself approach the dreaded dip. She felt Darling adjust her grip and they both moved their bodies and feet into the correct position before Apple dipped her back and Darling bent forward to accommodate the shift in weight. Apple was surprised how easily Darling held her and looked up into the girls eyes who met Apples with a smouldering look in them that was intense.

The girls stared at each other just now realising how close they were, before a loud thud pulled them out of it and they looked up to see one of the other girls on the floor after their partner had dropped them,u the poor boy awkwardly stammering and trying to help the girl up while apologising profusely. After that incident the music stopped and madam Yaga cleared her throat.

"Not bad some of you need to practice but others did excellently. That's all for today students you're free to go, I'll let you out a little bit early".

Now that the spell had been broken Darling gently pulled Apple up into a standing position and moved away sliding her hand down Apples arm and wrist to lightly grab her hand again bowing before she spoke in a gentle tone.

"Thank you for the dance my lady it was a pleasure".

Before she placed her lips on the back of Apples hand and gave a soft kiss to the knuckles there. Apple blushed and Darling gave her a confident smile sure of the effect she knew she had on Apple before gently placing Apples hand by her side, bowing again and leaving the classroom.

Dazed Apple stood there replaying everything that had just happened before she was jolted out of it by the school bell ringing signifying her lunch break had started. Collecting her things Apple stood before she once again rushed out of her class quickly with one goal on her mind.

"I have to find raven".
