Let's begin…
Hilary looked at her phone to see what the time was. It said 11:29 of the night. Her ruby eyes became inconstant as they searched for a particular person. But no one was there. She had been waiting for him at the seashore for the past half an hour. He asked her to come here this evening when she was busy making dinner for her mother and herself.
Flashback…
Steam came out from the pot as Hilary removed the lid. She stirred the soup inside it to see if it was ready or not and after assuring herself that everything was perfect she turned off the oven. Her mom usually didn't let her into the kitchen. But that day she somehow managed to let her cook the dinner. The brunette was setting the table when she heard the doorbell rang. Putting down the plates she ran towards the door. Placing her eye on the eye-hole she saw none. So she opened the door and found a note lying on the floor. Looking left and right Hilary hesitantly picked it up and unfolded it. At a glance she recognized the handwriting.
Dear Hilary,
I know you are wondering why you are getting this note at this hour. Actually I have something for you. Do you want to know what it is? Then come to the beach by 11. I'll be waiting for you.

End of flashback…
The Japanese shivered as the cold breeze blew sending chills in her spine. Quickly she tucked her hands in the pockets of her jacket. There she found the piece of paper. Hilary took it out and read again. No, She didn't read it wrong. Then? They had been in a relationship for the past five years but he had never been this late as long as she remembered.
A thought came in her mind. 'Is he alright?'
From when she came here she hadn't encountered with not a single living being. The silence seemed so awkward to her that she felt like she was deaf. Only thing she could hear was the sound of waves hitting the rocks. It's not like she didn't call him after getting the note. She called him about 20 times and even texted him. But neither he answered the calls nor he texted her back. That's why she was worried. Hilary came out of thought as the cool waves hit her ankles. Looking around one more and decided to go back. The voice of the singer was deep but smooth. Hilary halted on her way as she knew the owner of the voice. Her body became restless as she detected the direction of the sound. It was coming from far away.

The Brunette started running towards the right direction. With the passing of every second her breath was becoming heavier due to excitement.

Her quick paces became slower when she came more nearer to the source of voice.

Hilary stopped as she found Kai. The Dual haired Russian was also facing her. As she stopped Kai started approaching her. He stopped when they were only a few inches apart. Holding her by her waist he pulled Hilary near his body. He lifted up her small face and Ruby met the Amethyst. Kai continued...

As Kai finished singing the song, he didn't give her a chance to say anything and kissed her. Hilary was redder than the strawberry. But she also kissed him back. They broke apart as they needed Oxygen. As Hilary parted her lips to say something Kai placed his finger on them.
'Sshh…'
Then he took two steps back, inhaled deeply and took out a small velvet box. The blunette kneeled down in front of the brunette and held out the velvet box consisting a diamond ring.
'Will you marry me, Hilary?' He said.
Hilary was speechless. She felt like hundreds of butterflies were dancing in her belly.
'Y-Yes...I-I…' She couldn't complete the sentence as tears rolled down from her eyes. Kai took her hand slowly and put on the ring in her ring finger. After putting on the ring he wiped off the tears from her face and pulled her in a warm hug.
Once again silence broke out on the seashore. But this time It was not awkward. It was full of happiness and love.
