The sun was climbing in the sky with it came stirring in the Fenton house as Jack crept towards the kitchen. He had a secret stash of Reese puffs that he couldn't let Maddie know about but as he rounded the corner he came face to face with a 13 year old girl sitting at his table, eating his reese puffs.

Jack stared until the little girl looked up from her bowl and met his gaze and froze the spoon hung at the entrance of her mouth. Slowly creeping until she bit down and swallowed leaving Jack to narrow his eyes as he counted on his fingers before creeping out of the kitchen "Maddie, did we have another girl that closely ressambles Danny?"

Dani however kept eating adding more ceral to the bowl emptying the box. Just as Jazz walked in with her face buried in a law book taking no notice of Dani. She poured herself a cup of coffee from the pot and sat down "Morning Danny" she automatically greeted without really paying attention.

"morning" Dani replied.

Jazz suddenly stiffened up as she looked over to the small framed girl at the end of the table. She looked exactly like Danny "uhm...who are you?"

"Dani" the young halfa replied.

"Danny? Did something happen on your trip?" Jazz hesitently asked.

"nope, pretty easy going, plus a fun car ride from montreal"

"heh, okay excuse me a moment" Jazz got up and dashed for her parents room "mom!"

Upstairs Danny was slowly waking up his head felt like it was a wet sand bag. As he sat up he took notice of the purple and blue hickies that covered his chest and base of his neck, seems Ember made the effort to write her name across his body last night. "subtle Ember, so much for keeping a low profile" he chuckled in a raspy voice. Danny rose to his feet only to feel his back start to burn but he didn't need a mirror to see why, he learned this past month Ember liked to play with her nails "haha she leaves more marks and bruises on me now then she did when we fought" he mused.

"got you to say my name didn't i baby-pop" Ember yawned from the bed with a very satisfied grin on her face "as for your chest, call it marking my territory" she rested her head on her hand as she longed after Danny. He had grown a lot in a few months he was taller now standing at 6'1 his body filled out nicely. Her little baby-pop was becoming a real piece of arm candy. "you belong to me baby-pop just making sure those fan girls of yours get the message"

Danny quickly pulled his pants then tossed his loose fitting black t-shirt on "don't suppose you want to join me for breakfast?" he asked.

Ember shook her head "uh-uh, nope told you baby-pop i'm happy to play with you but we're not a couple" she explained.

"and yet you marked your territory, plus you don't like sharing" Danny teased.

"Damn right i don't!" Ember snapped,

"so we're not a couple, but i belong you?"

"you catch on quick dipstick, you're mine and only mine" Ember replied.

"So you're free to explore your options?"

"meh. Don't wanna you're cute, fun, energetic and with your ghost half you can hold your breath for a reasonable amount time.. Face it baby-pop you're the christmas toy every girl wants why should i explore other options?" she smirked.

Danny now smiled "so we`re not a couple?"

"No"

"but we're exclusive?"

"proper wording is you're mine baby-pop" Ember established. knowing her smile betrayed her.

"then how about kiss before breakfast?" Danny asked giving her a puppy dog pout.

Ember hated his pout, his bright blue eyes shined like her fire it was almost impossible to deny him a request when he did that. "Fine" she sighed "come here you big suck" she said with her arms open to recieve him.

Danny leaned in for his kiss when Dani shouted from downstairs.

"Danny! Get out of bed it's getting awkward down here!"

An annoyed looked flashed across his face which made Ember smile with amusement "go save the happy meal baby-pop we'll pick this up later"

Danny phased through the floor leaving Ember alone in bed feeling slightly guilty, one reason being because she knew what Danny wanted. To his credit he was being paticent with her but Ember had been hurt far too badly too many times to just let her guard down. The other reason being because, originally...she only intended to bed Danny as a means to win a bet that she had with the girls but after a month of Danny's caring nature she couldn't exploit him and decided to call it off when she saw the girls today. Hopefully Danny doesn't out.

Danny arrived in the kitchen to see Dani drinking an apple juice sitting between Jazz and his mom. It seemed her shouting was a ruse to pull him away from his, as Dani came to call her, cuddle buddy.

Jazz got up and embraced her younger (she can't call him little anymore since he now dwarfed her) brother. "welcome home Danny" she happily greeted.

"welcome home dear, care to explain Dani to us Danny" Maddie asked with an interogative tone.

Danny recognised that voice and since he was still half asleep he decided to run with it until he woke up. "surprise mom you're a grandma now!" he stated.

The room suddenly went dead. Dani dropped her cup to the floor and Maddie and Jazz just froze.

"that's not funny Danny" Jazz snapped "she's like 10 years old"

"14" Dani corrected her "i'm small framed but i'm still a teenager you know"

"14? Danny explain now!" Maddie demanded.

Danny slowly exhaled as he took a seat at the table. This was going to be a long morning having to explain dani's origin story.

However the little halfa had other means to avoid this topic until she decided if she liked her new family. "Danny how come Emy didn't sleep over? You guys fighting?" she asked with a sinister smile.

"Emy? Danny whose Emy?" Maddie asked.

"his cuddle buddy that was with him for the whole trip" Dani interjected.

Maddies eyes suddenly went cold as she glared daggers at her son "cuddle buddy? Daniel James Fenton!" she shouted.
