Guilty of Humanity- Insanlik Sucu - Episode 10
With Gokhan in prison awaiting trial for the beating of Neslihan and the death of their unborn child along with the Stabbing of Suna and the her forced marriage plus the kidnapping and contract to murder of Cemal, the Gokdemir Empire has to turn this barrage of negative press around. Sami calls for a meeting of the top public relations people around. The recommendations that he receives are not to his satisfaction.
He is forced to reflect on what he had to do to make Gokdemir Holdings successful in the first place. Why is this happening and who is to blame…. Hulya's last words to him
Hulya: He is your son…. Your family keeps cheating you even today they keep cheating you…. My only regret of the past is that I loved you…. Now I hate you for what you did
Sami can't help but to reflect that what has happened between Cemal and Gokhan is very similar to what happened to him and Asaf. He knew that Hulya loved him but his mother Kadriye couldn't accept that a peasant girl would be his wife. Kadriye did everything she could to stop the marriage, what she couldn't do was stop the love between them. By sending Sami away for the business , she found her way to get rid of Hulya forever, by publicly beating and shaming her and accusing her of pitting brother against brother. What she never counted on was Asaf marrying Hulya and forgetting his mother.
The real cause of all the strife was Kadriye's obsession at controlling her son's future leaving one to great wealth but the loss of happiness and one with great poverty but the love of his family.
Sami's biggest mistake was that he accepted his mothers words and never went to fight for the love of his life- Hulya…. He was a coward…. unlike Camel who will fight for what is his. Sami put all his efforts into the business now that he lost his love to his brother.
Asaf had the vision and the dreams for the business but fell in love with his brothers beloved. When the opportunity to make Hulya his he took it but lost all hope and dreams of the business, thus he drank himself away to remove the hurt of his lost ambition.
Sami now begins to understand what he needs to do to save his family and save his company- the Truth
Sami goes to Hulya once more
Sami: Hulya….. do not shout, do not scream , Just talk to me for the sake of the love we once had
Hulya: Why should I talk to you… will you even listen…. You were such a coward…. You allowed your mother to throw me away like the garbage …. Sami: Hulya… I'm sorry… I can't make up for the heart ache I caused both of us…. Hulya realizing what Sami has said is very true: What are you asking of me
Sami: I want to restore Cemal's birthright… he is the first born Gokdemir and because of such he is the principle heir…. I want to make him second in command of the company until which time I retire and he is completely in charge. You, Esra and baby Asaf will never have to live like you have ever again… I want us to be civil to each other for the sake of Cemal and his future family.
Hulya: Kadriye…and your wife will never allow that
Sami: I control the wealth and the wealth controls them…. That is one thing I'm very good at… that is what I want to teach Cemal…. How to control wealth and not let it control him.

Sami: I've already contacted my lawyers to draw up all the legal documents and to also get the fake marriage of Suna and Gokhan removed. When they decide to get married we will announce that Cemal is now the number two in Gokdemir Holdings World Wide.
Hulya: Have you talked to Cemal…. He is still very angry especially what Gokhan did to Suna
Sami: I know that, that is why I would like you to accompany me to see Suna at the hospital ….. you also have to make yourself right with Suna. Suna made it very clear when she asked if Cemal would marry her in front of me, Emel and Kadriye and her mother. There is no stopping this marriage. Suna is such a special person and I'm thrilled that she loves Cemal so much that she even risked her life to save him. Cemal and Suna are the salvation to this family and all it's demons…. I just know it.
Hulya: Me and you together in front of our son… what will he do?
Sami: I will call Suna to prepare him so it is not as much of a surprise….
Hulya: What will you do about Gokhan…. He is still your son …. He wants Cemal dead
Sami: Gokhan will pay the price for his actions… he will spend time in prison…. He either fixes what is broken in him or he will live a life that he makes for himself. He has lived a life of privilege… now he will be faced with a life of survival. The choice is his…. If he fixes, I will welcome with open arms, if he does not… he is not my son.
Sami now knows that before his company can be fixed, his family must be fixed first.
With Suna recovering nicely and Cemal visiting her everyday the sparkel in her eyes has returned. She is very happy and looking forward to her new life with Cemal. The phone call from Sami however, brings her some concern as to what he is about to say and how Cemal will react to it.
Suna tells Cemal that she is expecting some guests shortly and that she would like him to be with her.
Suna: Remember we are a team…. everything we do from here on out we do it together
Sami and Hulya arrive together and Cemal and Suna both have a troubled surprise look on their faces… Suna didn't expect Hulya being with Sami
Sami: Suna… How are you feeling and thank you for seeing us

Suna and Cemal are left speechless they are witnessing a true confession something Cemal has been wanting his entire life

There isn't a day I haven't regretted that, but I can't bring back 25 years lost. What I can do is correct the future. Suna has made it very clear that you two will marry and that pleases both of us. I've contacted the lawyers and the fake marriage between Gokhan and Suna will be annulled within the week. No record will ever surface and as far as anyone is concerned this will be the first and only marriage for both of you. The lawyers have also been instructed to prepare all the documentation that you Cemal are my first born and with that the heir to Gokdemir Holdings. Sami: As I said, I can't bring back the 25 years lost, but I can correct the injustice… don't think that this is going to be easy…. The burden I'm placing on you two is great… the public relations damage that has been done to the Gokdemir Holdings Company is severe… I'm convinced that once you two become the new face of Gokdemir along with your ideas you will make it greater than before… if not we all go live in poverty.

As Sami and Hulya leave Cemal and Suna look at each other with amazement… the fact that Hulya was with Sami at all is one big step.

Cemal: Gokhan has done great damage to the company and I haven't helped either….. The company is my father's true love and he is looking to save it. For him to go to my mother and offer what he is offering … he is very worried.
Suna: From a PR standpoint ….. that if we become the new face of Gokdemir … we can save the company from collapse and have an opportunity to even make it grow. So he is correct. We could make the workshop our new specialty boutique lines that will only cater to the ultra rich and then we can develop off the rak lines that are for the masses. These are things we couldn't do just starting out. With a restored Gokdemir name we can achieve anything.
Cemal: Are you saying you want to do this
Suna: Didn't you say you were coming to take what is yours … it's now been handed to you on a silver platter….. my only concern is my mother… she will be unbearable in her desires

Suna: I was told that I can be released tomorrow and then we can tell Father Sami our decision. Then we will make our wedding preparations… remember simple and elegant and I'm thinking we will have it in the lobby of the workshop….. that's when I knew I wanted to be with you forever.

The Next day Cemal and Suna meet Sami and tell him they accept what he wants to do and that the wedding will take place at the workshop….. putting the biggest smile on Sami's face.

Suna: The family members and a few close friends 20 to 25 people at the most. The next day you can hold the press conference and tell what you are wanting done. At least Cemal and I will have the one day to ourselves.
Sami gives them both a company credit card and access to the company cars and tells them to go get the wedding gown and make the arrangements as to how they want the Workshop decorated for the wedding. He also tells them that the Annulment was final and they no longer have to worry about that incident ever again.
Cemal: Suna… With that news we can go file for our wedding papers now
Suna: What else are you anxious for… I'm so happy that you want to marry me so… I hope I don't disappoint you

They go to the court house and file the marriage papers so they can marry the following week.
Cavidan has been left out of any conversations with Suna except for the one day Suna allowed them to visit. Cavidan calls Suna

Cavidan: Your depriving your mother the privilege of being the mother of the bride
Suna: Mother… you forfeited that honor with your shenanigans with Gokhan… Do you realize how much you have hurt me, mother. Cemal is the only person I trust.

Three people are not so thrilled with this union and they are Kadriye, Emel and Cavidan their scowls give them away, but as far as Suna and Cemal are concerned they are married and are thrilled to be such.
