Guilty of Humanity - Episode 13
As Cemal is taking his morning shower, Suna decides to join him in that they were both so tired last night they fell asleep in each others arms. Suna wants to know more about the new troubles Gokhan may have caused for them.
Cemal: now this is the best way to start my day… my beautiful wife in all her glory getting my heart to pump ever so hard.

Cemal as he pulls her tighter against him: I talked to my father and he agreed that I get the police involved so that we aren't to be blamed for any of it. I called Commissioner Hakan and they will organize a sting operation and arrest those involved.

Suna heads to the workshop where the latest test run on fabric has been completed.
Cevher: Suna… everyone agrees this is the very best in fabric that can be made…. It's ready to be made into your design
Suna: I agree …. Roll it up for me so I can bring it to our tailors ….. excellent job Cevher … tell the crew I'm very pleased.
Cemal decides to have another department heads meeting to address what transpired yesterday.
Cemal: Yesterday it came to my attention , that prior management decisions that deemed questionable were still allowed to continue. My last name is on the company logo and your paychecks, but remember, this is your company… it's survival depends on decisions I make but most importantly decisions you make. If there activities or transactions that you feel untrust worthy… bring them to my attention immediately. I don't want this company marred in anything illegal. I want the reputation of this company to be spotless…. For the company's sake. Any questions
Accounting: what happened …. Can you give us what you are referring to
Cemal: Shipping informed me of shipment being made for a fake company using our trucks as a cover for possible illegal drugs or guns transactions. … Let me be very clear, I will not let this company be used for anything illegal, drugs, guns, money laundering, human smuggling… if it's illegal I don't want any part of it….. I want the image of this company restored to greatness… That is my number one goal…. If your area suspects anything out of the ordinary , I want to know about it….. If there things that Gokhan or anyone else has made you do and you are suspicious about…. I want to know. Are we all on the same page. I'll leave you with this thought….. Suna arrives at the tailors for the first sample to be crafted. Ali the master tailor has a few questions
Ali: Madame Suna…. You have given me all your requirements but you have left out the principle part in making your idea a complete success
Suna: What have I left out Ali…. I'm certain I've coved everything
Ali: The fabric is spectacular, the designs are innovative, but you left out you…. The label as your husband wished would be called Suna's …. You are Suna … you will sell this label like no one else can…. Each design will be made for you … you are a beautiful woman with a beautiful style ….. those you seek to sell to will want to be you
Suna: I don't know what to say , Ali
Ali: trust me …. We will now begin to take your measurements so that the Suna's line will come to life with you
Ali has one more idea that makes the Suna's line unique… each order will be fitted to size by master tailors … thus a video recording of what Suna goes through with each creation. Another selling feature for the very rich.
Suna: Ali… I never intended to make this about me….. Are you sure that this will work
Ali: Madame Suna… when you first approached me about your ideas … I came away with the thought you are a breath of fresh air in this industry… once seeing you I was convinced …. That only you could be the face of Suna's because you are Suna…. Your husband had great instinct in naming it after you. We will make the first design by the end of next week. Suna thanks Ali and says she is looking forward to next week. She is on her way to meet Cemal when she gets a call from Cavidan
Cavidan: Suna… Are you still upset with me… you don't call me or let me know anything that's happening with you…. I'm still your mother and your the only one I have left in my life
Suna: Mother…Cemal and I have been very busy … now that Father Sami has given the burden of running the company on Cemals shoulders …. I have to help my husband in everyway possible…. We are a team . We've only had a one day honeymoon … because we are so busy.
Cavidan: Suna… you are rich beyond your wildest dreams…. You are the wife of Cemal Gokdemir …. President of Gokdemir Holdings … why do you need to work

Suna: We are not buying a mansion and it definitely won't have a guest house where you can stay, because you are never going to live with us. We have already refused to live with Father Sami .
Cavidan: You refused to live in the Gokdemir Mansion… What's wrong with you daughter
Suna: I suggest you find yourself a rich husband if you want that mansion…. Mother….

Suna goes into Cemals office closes the door behind her and once again sits on his lap and gives him a passionate kiss.
Suna : I had such a good until my mother called

Suna: The fabric came back exceptional and then I brought it to Ali the master tailor…. Who came up with our marketing plan for the line , which I didn't think of
Cemal: what did he suggest
Suna: He said since you wanted the label to be called Suna's , he said I am Suna so I become the face of Suna's fashion…. I wear the cloths and all the advertising has me in it… what do you think
Cemal: Absolutely perfect… Everything about this has been you, so why not you be the spokesperson for it. I love it. Now what about your mother
Suna: Now that you are President of Gokdemir Holdings you're her favorite son in law who she expects that you buy a mansion with a guest house so she can live in it. She thinks that we are so rich that I don't have to work … How could this woman be my mother…. I couldn't have possibly come out of her.
Cemal: What did you tell her
Suna: I told her that she needed to find herself a rich husband if she wanted to live in a mansion…and she was never going to live with us…. Months ago she thought you were the worst possible choice for me…. She got me so up set ….. that's why I'm sitting on your lap so I could calm down. …. let's bring dinner home so we have a night just to ourselves
Cemal: What are you in the mood for Pizza or Kabobs
Suna: I'm in the mood for Pizza … we haven't had that in a while
Cemal asks Hasan the driver if he too would like a pizza for dinner and the driver agrees. Once back at the guest house ….. Cemal and Suna get into their casual dress , eat their pizza and just lay with each other enjoying the quite time they are experiencing. The idea of their own house comes to mind so Suna pulls out the laptop and starts a house search where she can get Cemal's input so no one is bothering them. Cemal asks what type of house Suna would like.
Suna: I don't want it to small but not mansion size, with a nice yard so our children can play and something with a nice view so that we can just sit and look out and enjoy the view. Then when we decorate it it will be uniquely ours. When we see it we will both know it is our house.
Cemal: Back in Adana, I could never have even dreamed of looking for a house, let alone having a wife like you … How much my life has changed ….. if I died right now I would be a happy man
Suna: Don't ever talk about dying ….. we are going to live a long and happy life… we are going to grow old together and see our grandchildren get married.
Cemal: you've got it all planned out Suna Gokdemir even to our grandchildren… I'm such a lucky man to have you my love.
Suna brings up a number of houses that look interesting and Cemal agrees. She also brings up houses that would be a compromise for Hulya and Esra to look at.
Suna: can we take the afternoon off and go look at these houses and bring Hulya and Esra with us. The limousine could accommodate all of us.
Suna calls Hulya
Suna: Mother Hulya….. Cemal and I were looking at houses and we found several and also some that you and Esra may like… Cemal has agreed to take the afternoon off to go look, would you and Esra like to join us
Hulya: of course daughter… Esra has been talking non stop about looking
Suna: We will come by with the limousine tomorrow afternoon and we will start the search.
Hulya tells Esra that tomorrow the search begins for a new house for them.
The next morning Cemal and Sunna head to the office to find Commissioner Hakan waiting.
Cemal: Commissioner Hakan must be something important for you to be here this early.
Hakan: Cemal… I think you have uncovered a large smuggling operation that has some serious criminals involved. Do you have any idea who these people are
Cemal: Commissioner… from what I got from my shipping crew Gokhan instructed everyone not to ask any questions , but just to do as he said. My father seems to think that Gokhan was in need of money that he couldn't ask my father for. That's all that I know
Hakan: we will be interrogating Gokhan this afternoon …. I will be questioning your father to see if he has any additional information .
Cemal: Does the company have any liabilities because of this
Hakan: Since you brought this to our attention and Gokhan no longer has any involvement in the company… you and the company have acted as a good citizen you're in the clear. Gokhan may be in bigger trouble than he realizes.
Cemal: Can I inform my father of your inquiry, he had no knowledge of this either
Hakan: Of course
Cemal calls Sami and lets him know that Hakan is on his way to question him about this.
Hakan arrives at the Mansion
Sami: Commissioner Hakan , What can I help you with
Hakan: Mr Gokdemir…. Do you know why your son Gokhan got involved with these people….. these are some serious criminals
Sami: The things that Gokhan had done recently have been a shock to us…. He has had problems….. but I never believed that he could do what he has done…. This new development makes me wonder what else he has done. My son Cemal who is now in charge of the Company is purging the company of anything Gokhan was involved in.
Hakan : What Cemal is doing is exactly what needs to be done. However, we are going to need to get Gokhan to come clean ….. I'm going to interrogate him this afternoon … do you think you can persuade him to open up.
Sami: He has made one blunder after another …. But I will do whatever you need me to do
Emel walks in
Emel : Sami what is this about….. Did something happen to Gokhan
Sami: Did Gokhan ask you for large sums of money 6 months ago
Emel: No, but why
Sami: He got himself tangled with the wrong people and now we are trying to untangle him and the company
Emel: What did he do now
Sami: This is what Commissioner Hakan is trying to figure out now. I will go to the prison to see if Gokhan can clarify his actions and with whom.
Emel: Is he in more trouble
Sami: that's what we are trying to find out.
Sami meets Hakan at the prison and talks to Gokhan first
Sami: Son how are you doing in here
Gokhan: how do you think I'm doing…. I've lost everything … while my brothers gets everything
Sami: Your brother didn't make you make deals with Aegean Exports … What is this all about
Gokhan: How do you know about Aegean exports
Sami : Did you think that Cemal or I wouldn't have found out…. It came to his attention the first morning he made the rounds…. He called me immediately …. What did you get yourself into… do you know how dangerous these people are….. Commissioner Hakan is going to talk to you … if you have any chance of saving yourself… you need to tell him everything. What other deeds have you done to jeopardize the company. Help Hakan help you…. You are way over your head with these criminals.
Gokhan : Please dad help me , I can't stay in here
Sami: Tell Hakan everything he needs to know … maybe he can work a deal for you.
Gokhan tells Hakan everything he needs to know promises him to get a deal in protective custody if he agrees to testify against these crime figures. Hakan now knows how to set up the sting operation…. The next delivery should put everything in motion.
The house hunting search isn't as easy as it looks on the internet…. The pictures didn't live up to reality….. they all agreed that this is going to take a little longer. Suna suggests that they contact a professional broker that knows the properties and only brings them the ones that meet their qualifications. This is to time consuming to do on their own especially with what they need to do at the company.
Hulya: At least stay for dinner since you took so much time out of your schedules to do this today. Mr Hasan you join us also.
They all eat and but don't stay that long since Cemal wants to know how the interrogation of Gokhan went. Cemal calls Sami
Cemal: Dad….. what happened today
Sami: how could I have two sons so completely different…. Gokhan finally cooperated and gave Hakan everything he needs to do the sting operation. He will get in touch with you as to what will be expected from the shipping crew when they are contacted. You and Suna need to be extra careful. After you talk to Hakan…. See if he can provide extra security. I don't want anything to happen to either of you because of Gokhans failings.
Cemal: We will stay on alert.
Sami: On a good note… Ali the master tailor called me and told me how pleased with what Suna has been doing and that she will be the perfect spokesperson for the Suna line and it's advertising… At least you two are doing what you set out to do….. I'm proud of both of you.
