hat night, Marie laid out on the couch, spread out, as her baby bump was now way bigger, and way more apparent at this point. Her hand flopped against the pillow, as she laid down. Sailor came by, holding her blanket, ready to go to bed. "Goodnight". Sailor said, walking past. She had just taken her sleep medicine. "Mm, goodnight, baby". Marie said, gently. "Love you". "I love you, too". Sailor said, going into the guest room. Marie sighed a bit, admiring Sailor. Although, she felt bad for Sailor. Sailor had been through a lot. She lost her family in a plane crash, tried to save other passengers on the plane, and had been attacked herself. Marie wished she could give Sailor everything, because she deserved everything.
Sailor went in the guest room, sniffling, getting into bed. A moment or so, later, a lizard, (anthropomorphic Lizard) wearing a tweed jacket, and pince nez glasses came into the room. It was Mr. Wizard the Lizard, from "Tooter Turtle". "Hello, Sailor". He said, gently. Sailor looked up at him. "Mr. Wizard?". She said. "Eddward told me you were in here". Mr. Wizard said, kindly. "I guess". Sailor said. "Or he didn't". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "Best friends always know where to find one another". He sat on the side of the bed. "Now, I heard you were a bit saddened".
"Kind of, not really". Sailor said, sniffling. "You are saddened". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "Never try to ignore your feelings". "I understand at times it can be difficult, but, you have been brave throughout this process". "I understand it's been hard". "Hasn't it?". Sailor sniffled, as tears dropped from her cheeks. "I don't know". Sailor said. "I'm trying my best". "I'm doing everything I can".
"You've done a marvelous deed". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "You are special, you are beautiful to everyone you've met". "I wanted to thank you for the amazing things you've done for your community". "You are truly heroic". "But it's perhaps been said by your consult".
Sailor began crying, as tears streamed down her cheeks. "There, there, my best friend". Mr. Wizard said, gently. He took out a handkerchief for Sailor, rubbing her back. "I strongly dislike seeing my best friend saddened". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "I...I...I...I can't do it anymore". Sailor said. "I'm so tired of seeing everyone get killed, or get beaten, and I feel like I'm not doing enough, because I'm not".
"You've done plenty of good for everyone". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "You've influenced and inspired the world toward greatness". "You have protected so many, but, it is stressful". "I think, it may be time to take a step back, and think of your needs". "You are an amazing, inspiring, loving, strong girl who has made a difference in everyone's lives". "You matter". "You are important". "You're my best friend, and we'll change the world, together".
"I...I...I hope". Sailor said, crying. "We will". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "We'll have our own bakery, you and I". "we'll eat all of the candy we desire". "Then, we'll take a tour through Italy".
"One day we'll do that, you and I". "Things will work out for the better". "You are my hero, and you will always continue to make me proud".
The bed creaked, as Mr. Wizard whispered. The words dripped from his mouth. "My hero". He appeared to be whispering some other words as well. The word, "inspirational". Was whispered as well.
"Ok". Sailor said. "People tell me that all the time".
"Do you remember when you first lost your parents?". Mr. Wizard whispered. The bed creaked a bit as he whispered. "Kind of". Sailor said. "I remember you were very distant". Mr. Wizard whispered. "You had difficulty lifting your head, and speaking". "Do you remember that?".
"No". Sailor said. "I remember when you were grieving, you could not swallow, you cried, and cried". Mr. Wizard whispered. "You've been deprived". Those words came out in a whisper. "Ok". Sailor said. "Although, it has been some time". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "You're doing well
helping others, managing your grief, coming to enjoy life". "You're a miracle to all of us". "Your heroics have changed others' lives". "You are truly special, Sailor". "You are my savior". Mr. Wizard stroked her cheek.
"Thank you". Sailor said. "Of course, my hero". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "My best friend". "Our friendship will take us to wonderful places, and keep us young". "Our bond is unbreakable". "If you ever need anything, never hesitate to ask". "Ok". Sailor said. Sailor cried loudly. "Don't be sad, dear". Mr. Wizard said, gently. "Things will come to fruition". "Until then, retire for some sleep, never hesitate to sleep a bit later if need be". "I'll always be here beside you". "My best friend". Mr. Wizard kissed Sailor's cheek. Sailor felt a bit of dry from Mr. Wizard's lips. His lips were dry, and cracked.
"Thank you". Sailor said. "Of course, my darling". Mr. Wizard said, gently. Mr. Wizard hugged Sailor, as Sailor sniffled. "You take care now". Mr. Wizard said, gently. Mr. Wizard tucked Sailor into bed, pulling the sheets up, and overtop. He got up from the bed, exiting.
Sailor felt much better knowing there was a bit of wisdom in a few places. Now was a great time. Things would get better. Things would get a lot better.
The next day, Sailor got up, seeing Edd out on the porch with Ed, and Eddy. Smoke surrounded them, as they sat, talking. Smoke billowed from their cigarettes. Sailor came outside holding her blanket, coming to see Edd. "Hello, darling". Edd said, gently. He smiled a gentle smile. "How are you this morning?". "Good". Sailor said.
"Hello, my precious sweetheart". Eddy said, gently. He held a suggestive register to his voice. "You look absolutely perfect". He grinned a mischievous grin. "Thank you". Sailor said. Eddy kissed Sailor, licking her ear. "You're not only Double D's favorite, you're also mine". He whispered. Sailor doubled back a bit. She greatly disliked Eddy. If anything, she wanted to sit with Edd.
"How have you been?". Eddy asked, gently. His yellow, silk shirt rustled a bit. "Good". Sailor said. "I'm doing by best". "You're absolutely wonderful". Eddy grinned mischievously. "I'm sure you're doing great things". "I kind of am". Sailor said.
"She won a regional Spelling Bee, she got another character award, she's a lead mentor". Edd said, blowing some smoke. "She's doing so well". "That's cool". Ed said, gently. "Sailboat, you're going places". "Yep, I see what I did there". Sailor laughed a bit. "I'm so proud of you, my compadre". Ed said, gently. "That's amazing". "Thank you". Sailor said.
"Sweetie, you are perfect". Eddy said, gently. His voice sounded raspy, and sexual, suggestive from all of the cigarettes he smoked. "I knew from the beginning, how intelligent, strong, and thoughtful, you were going to be". Eddy smiled a cunning smile. "You're my lead girl".
Eddy winked at Sailor. "Ok". Sailor said. "She's amazing". Eddy whispered, scandalously. "She is". Edd whispered back. Silk rustled, as Sailor held her blanket.
"Mm, so how is this thing going to work?". Ed asked. "You're going to take her to dinner at Monterey Bay, then propose?". "It seems that's the plan". Edd said. "I used the majority of my side savings to buy her a ring". "Monterey Bay's out of Sailor's account". "Thank you, honey, by the way, for lending me the money". "You're welcome". Sailor said. "It's fine". This was a norm for Sailor. She was the mature one, the responsible one that held the adults' hands, and guided them, financially. She was more responsible than the adults.
"I'll just propose to her there". Edd said. "We have reservations for 7:00". "I checked the allotment, and paid the valet fee". "We should be covered". "Mm, you're finally giving it to your girl". Eddy said. "Yes, we're settling down". Edd said. "We want to be more committed, and financially stable, that for when the baby comes". "I don't think I'll ever be committed". Eddy said, blowing smoke. "I love sex, plenty, but, I would never want someone to answer to". "I love my freedom". "I love licking p$$$". "Hmm". Edd pursed his lips. "We haven't had sex for four weeks". He said. "We've made out, but her vagina has something bigger than a melon in there, I wouldn't want to disrupt that".
"Of course you wouldn't". "Nerd". Eddy muttered. "I'd slay the poon no matter what". "I love V". "of course you both do". Edd said. "You lizard brains can't keep it in your pants for 3 seconds". "I got high yesterday, doing a joint". Ed muttered. "Of course, Sandy was attractive, but, I had to get high to even enjoy sex with her". "She was just shrewd". "Mmm, I like em shrewd". "They've got a tough vagina". Eddy licked his lips, sticking his tongue out. "Ugh, it was like I was dating my sister". Ed said. "A ball buster".
"Ball busters are f###". Eddy said, in a suggestive tone. "Yeah, their V is tough, when you lick it". Ed said. "It's like they've got a hot air balloon down there". "Or a hot dog". Edd rolled his eyes, as Eddy laughed, in a grimace. "Only you, Ed". "only you". Eddy said, chuckling. Ed's tongue stayed inside his cheek. Sailor listened to the adult's conversation, not knowing what they were saying. She did know Edd was going to propose. She was excited for that.
"Sweetie, how would you like to accompany me at a new club I'm into". Eddy said, blowing some smoke. Sailor looked up at him. "I don't know". She said. Edd rolled his eyes. "She's only 10". Edd said, as a bit of his neuroticism came through. "Well, then, how bout we go to this new Japanese Steakhouse that's there". Eddy said, gently. "I know you love your Japanese". "Ok". Sailor said. "Then we'll get some ice cream with chocolate sprinkles, we'll go to Wendy's, get you a nice Peach Lemonade". "It'll be our little secret". Eddy said, winking. "We'll have a special night". "Ok". Sailor said. "I know that makes my little superstar happy". Eddy said, gently. "I guess". Sailor said. "Let's do it, pumpkin". Eddy smiled, kissing Sailor's cheek.
"Thanks for taking her out". Edd muttered to Eddy, away from Sailor. "Normally she would come with us to dinner, but, Marie and I need this time alone for the proposal to be special". Edd said. "No problemo". Eddy said. "She's an amazing baby pumpkin, yes she is". Eddy pinched
Sailor's cheeks. "Ok". Sailor said. Sailor reached her hands up, trying to take Eddy's hands down. "She's my bestie". Eddy said, smiling a cunning smile. He kissed Sailor's cheek. "Are you ready for our special date?". Eddy asked, gently. "I'm with my new girlfriend". This only made Sailor grimace. He winked at Sailor. Sailor wanted to roll her eyes, or better yet, kick him in the shin. Sailor instead walked away, going inside.
"Sailor". Edd said, gently. Sailor looked up at Edd. "Did you take your medicine yet?". Edd asked, gently. "No". Sailor said, holding her blanket. "Let's take medicine, sweetheart". Edd said, gently. He got up, as he, and Sailor walked into the kitchen. Edd took Sailor's Celexa out of its container, handing it to her. "Here you go, honey". Edd said, softly, and gently, kissing Sailor's cheek. Sailor took her Celexa with warm milk. "So you're going to propose to Marie?". Sailor asked. "I am". Edd said, gently. "I think it will be a lovely start". "I understand having this baby while unwedded was a bit abnormal, but we're committed". "We're very lucky we're beginning a life together, and piecing our normality through and through". "I am very lucky to have you on this journey with us". He brushed his backhand against Sailor's cheek. "You are our love". He smiled a gentle smile.
Sailor nodded, as Edd continued brushing her face. "I have some new pajamas if you'd like to wear them". Edd said, gently. "They're comfortable, fuzzy, they're princesses". "I know you like princesses". "Yes". Sailor said. "Let's put them on, and we'll see how they feel". Edd said, gently. "Ok". Sailor said. Sailor went to put on her new pajamas. She put on her fuzzy, "Sleeping Beauty" Disney princess pajama shirt, and fuzzy pink, big, pajama pants. They were full body, little girl pajamas. She came out, wearing these pajamas. "You look adorable, sweetie". Edd said, gently. "I love those". He kissed Sailor on the cheek. "Oh, sweetie". He said, softly, gently. He rubbed Sailor's back. "Thank you". Sailor said. "You'll be nice, and warm". Edd said, gently. "I used to like Sleeping Beauty". Sailor said. "That's good". Edd said, gently. "Was it one of your favorite movies?". "Yes". Sailor said. "That's lovely". Edd said, softly.
Eddy, and Ed came in, seeing Sailor in her pajamas. "Don't you look beautiful". Eddy said, grinning another cunning grin. He kissed Sailor's cheek. "I love it". "Thank you". Sailor said. Sailor went to get her bookbag for school. "My perfect girl". Eddy said, kissing Sailor's cheeks. "I have a special gift, just for you". Eddy said, smiling. "Ok". Sailor said. Eddy gave Sailor a necklace, with Emerald. Her birthstone. "Thank you". Sailor said. "Of course, my love". Eddy said, gently. "Just for us". "My girlfriend". He winked, cunningly. "Ok". Sailor said. "You have a splendid day". Eddy said, gently. "You too". Sailor said.
"Here's a bit of something that'll make your day more comfortable". Edd said, gently. He gave Sailor a neck pillow, and blanket. "There, sweetie". Edd said, softly. "You're all ready". "Thank you". Sailor said. "Of course, my sweet". Edd said, smiling a gentle smile. Sailor's friend, Sophie came to Edd's house to pick her up for school. Sailor was wearing her pajamas, and neck pillow. She didn't feel sleepy, however. She felt ready to conquer the day. Of course she felt strange, having the new medicine, and all, but, she was ready to do whatever it took, to feel better.
At school, Sailor came in, sitting by her desk partner, Jonathan. They talked for some time about homework, about studying, and about the mentor meeting they had after school. "Why are you wearing jammies?". Jonathan asked. "My grief counselor, Edd, said they would be comfy". Sailor said. "He also gave me a neck pillow". Sailor felt a bit more relaxed with the neck pillow. "Hello, Sailor". Ms. Grotke said, gently. "Hi, Ms. Grotke". Sailor said. "Sweetie, that looks comfortable'. Ms. Grotke said, gently. "My grief counselor, Edd, said it would be more comfortable". Sailor said. "He gave me a neck pillow in case I get tired". "That's lovely". Ms. Grotke said, gently.
For the rest of the day, they did some math work, they did some reading, and they did some things in the workbook. Sailor felt comfortable, although she felt as if she was a part of the adults' process. She felt as if she was a part of their life. She'd heard about reproductive organs, she'd been trusted with their finances, and she felt as if she was a part of Marie, and Edd's love life as well. The adults even put her on a depression medication, and got her new clothes. She was being influenced, if not controlled by the adults. All day, she thought about Edd, and his proposal to Marie. She thought about Marie's big stomach, and her soothing Sailor when Sailor grew upset. She thought about her time in the Spring with Edd, and Marie, as they kissed.
Sailor was being coddled, she was being cared for by Edd. She loved Edd, and Marie. She knew they would always be there for her, if she needed. She felt her little heart beating, it was a big heart now, that she was 10, but she still heard her heart beating, as she sat, doing her schoolwork. Her heartbeat was a bit abnormal, and it hurt, but she could get through the pain. She would get through the pain. She sniffled, trying to keep her eyes on her paper, but she couldn't. "Sailor, dear, are you alright?". Ms. Grotke asked, gently. "I'm fine". Sailor said. "My heart hurts". "But I'm fine".
"Would you like to go lay down for a little bit?". Ms. Grotke asked, kindly. "I know sometimes, when we have heart problems, it can be complicated". "No, I'm fine". Sailor said. "It's ok, really". "Let's go lay down, sweetie". Ms. Grotke said, gently. "We'll lay down, we'll take a nap, we'll wake up, and feel much better". "Ok". Sailor said. "I'm doing my best". "I'll do what I can". "No need to worry, sweetie". Ms. Grotke said, gently. "You've done so much, already". "Why don't we take some time to rest". "You are so smart, and strong". "Everyone loves you, Sailor". Sailor got up, walking with Ms. Candy, the classroom aide. "Are you ready, honey?". Ms. Candy asked, gently. "Yes". Sailor said. Her, and Ms. Candy walked down the hall to the nurse's office, where Sailor laid down on the bed.
Nurse Samuela was there. "Hello, sweetie". The nurse said, in a gentle, soft manner. "Are you ok?". "How are you feeling?". "Bad". Sailor said. "I hurt". "My heart hurts". Sailor yawned, tiredly. "Let's take some heart medicine, and we'll lay down for a little bit". Samuela said. There was a wet spot near Sailor's eye. The wet spot turned into a tear. Sailor sniffled. "I know, sweetie". The nurse said, gently. "I know it's a bear, taking medicine". "But it'll only take a second". "Shh, it's ok". The nurse rubbed Sailor's back. "I'm fine". Sailor said. "I did everything I could". "You are so inspirational to everyone, sweetie". The nurse said, gently. "We all love you, you are my hero". "You've done so much for your family, for your friends". "You are a gift". "Thank
you". Sailor said. The nurse rubbed Sailor's back, hugging her. "Are you ready for medicine?". The nurse asked, gently. "Yes". Sailor said. The nurse gave Sailor her Bayer medicine, as Sailor took it. Sailor drank some milk as well.
"Let's take a rest for a little bit, honey". The nurse said, gently. "Have a little nappy". "Ok". Sailor said, going over to the bed. She brought her blanket. "You need a rest". The nurse said, gently. "Take a little one, and we'll have some lunch later". "Ok". Sailor said. Sailor turned over with her blanket, laying down. She talked to the nurse a little bit, as she laid. Sailor didn't feel sad, or depressed. She didn't even feel traumatized. Her chest hurt, and she was tired. She felt as if she wanted to sleep. She did sleep. She did dream for the time being. That until she was woken up.
Edd picked her up from school, as she sat in the back of the car. "I have volunteering today, I think". She said, as she sat back there, looking up at Edd. "Perhaps today, you can rest for a bit". Edd said, gently. "Take some time to sleep, or eat some snacks". "I think you do need to take some time to sleep". "Ok". Sailor said. "Just relax for a bit". Edd said, gently. "I can try". Sailor said. "Then perhaps, Eddy will take you out for a bit". Edd said, kindly. "Ok, I can do that". Sailor said. They went back to Edd's house, as Edd and Marie prepared for the evening. Edd showered, putting on his nice blue shirt, and khakis. Marie put on a maternity dress, and flats. Marie's baby bump looked as if it was getting bigger. She was ready to pop any second.
"Are you ok here until Eddy comes?". Edd asked, gently. "Yes". Sailor said. "I have my jacket on". "We'll be out for the majority of the evening". Edd said, gently. "Call us if you need anything". "Ok". Sailor said. "Should I lock the door when I go outside?". "We have a security system". Edd said, gently. "We'll put the number in when we get back". "Ok". Sailor said. "Have so much fun with Eddy, sweetie". Marie said, gently, and softly. "We'll see you later". "Love you". She kissed Sailor's cheek. "I love you, too". Sailor said.
Edd and Marie went outside to the car, getting in, as they pulled out of the driveway. It was somewhat of a warm night. There wasn't much out there. There wasn't much to be made cold. They drove down the street, over to the exit that took them to the city. Marie and Edd took a scenic drive around the area, to start their date. It was a nice, scenic tour. "There's the bar we used to sneak to, in High School". Marie said, as they drove past "Ann's". "I got you to try your first beer". "I hated the taste of it". Edd said. "I didn't mind Riesling wine, although". "It's classy". "Just like you". Marie said, as they chuckled. "You were always a dork". Marie joked. "Riesling is what senators drink". Edd said. "Female senators". Marie joked, as they held hands.
They drove by a gentlemen's club, strip club on the east side. "There's where I performed for the majority of my time". Marie said, as they drove past. "Mm, it was a good club". "Had a lot of sex". "Did you?". Edd said, driving up a ways. "With you I did". Marie said. "You did get into a lot of trouble then". Edd said. "Mm, I was lucky, still am to have someone like you, bail me out". Marie said. "Without me, you'd be in prison". Edd said. "Without me, you'd be a buttrubber". Marie said. They looked at one another, then kissing. They made their way downtown, through
the tunnels, and to Monterey Bay. Monterey Bay was a high rise restaurant where they could see the majority of the city skyline from below. "Oh, this is amazing, boo". Marie said, happily, yet with calm. "How'd you manage to afford this?". "Sailor lent me some of her money". Edd said. "This is perfect, boo". Marie said, excitedly, kissing Edd.
"Not to worry, I've got everything covered this evening". Edd said, confidently, yet with his same, gentle kindness. " I'll get the meal, and our dessert". "Edd, you're amazing". Marie said, kissing Edd on the lips. "It is magnificent". Edd said, kissing Marie. They lingered as they kissed. Edd had the ring in his pocket. It was there, and ready to go for what was about to happen that night.
They kept kissing one another on the lips, lingering, going inward, and inward. Edd eventually had to break away. "There's something even more delicious waiting upstairs". Edd said. "Really?". Marie said. "Yes, it's food". Edd said. They chuckled, as Edd took her hand, leading her up the elevator.
Up, up, and up they went, until they got to the restaurant. There was a private room that overlooked the skyline, with a table set for them both. Menus sat on the table, as well as a nonalcoholic drink. "This is truly spectacular, boo". Marie said, happily. "You are amazing". "So are you". Edd said, as they kissed one another again. Marie sat down on her end of the table, as Edd sat down on his, and they talked. "I'm glad you like it". Edd said. "It is great". Marie said. "If I had anyone else, they probably wouldn't afford this".
"Sailor is pretty wealthy". Edd said, as they both chuckled. "My parents are substantial, although when my dad left, things got even more chaotic". Marie said. "My mother and I were living paycheck to paycheck". "My family is pretty well-to-do, although I've always wanted to get my hands a little dirty, and see what hard work did". Edd said. "You're an only child, so you've never had to share the earnings, or split taxes down the middle". Marie said. "The earnings were favored two ways". Edd said. "There was a proprietorship, then there were those with a job". "I was one with a job, so I had it easier". "It's a dumb thing, having the proprietorship half split down the middle". Marie said.
The waiter came over, taking their order. "I'll have the Skirt Steak, red in the middle". Marie said. "The Scampi Al Feta". Edd said, ordering his meal. They talked for a bit of time, until their meals came.
They talked, laughed, kissed, just spent some time together, enjoying one another's company. They had dessert, as later on, Marie stood out on the skyline, just looking out. Edd came out. "It's beautiful, isn't it?". Edd said, as the majority of some stars were out. "It is nice". Marie said. "Almost as nice as it was at prom". "You remember that?". "Of course I do". Edd said. "I was freaking out, as I thought my parents were going to be home earlier than thought". "We did it that night". Marie said. "So magical". "Indeed". Edd said. He had to do it. Now was the time. "Ever since I first met you, I've been entranced". Edd said. "I've always know being with you was the way". "We've had so many times together, so many ups, and downs, it's difficult to
imagine life without you". "This being said; will you spend the rest of life with me?". "Will you commit?". Edd got down on one knee, holding the ring. "Will you marry me?".
Marie was ecstatic at this point. She looked happily at Edd, hugging him. "Oh my god, yes!". Marie said, happily. "Let's see how this fits". Edd said, putting the ring on Marie's finger. "We're finally committing". "Good for us". Edd said. "Our parents will think it's good". Marie said. They embraced, kissing. They kissed for a long time, lingering. "I found a hot spring nearby". Marie said. "We'll celebrate there". "Oh, of course". Edd said. Edd paid the bill, paid the check, then went back down, going to the car.
It was dark outside now, as they drove a ways to the Spring. It was warm, and empty at the Spring. There was no one there. Edd and Marie took their clothes off, getting in the Spring. The moon lit their entrance into the Spring. They kissed, kissed with ecstasy, as Edd curled his tongue around Marie's. "It's so peaceful out here". Edd said, as they kissed. "It is quite lovely". Marie said. "Mm, you're so amazing". "As are you". Edd said. They continued kissing. They gazed at one another as they kissed. It truly was magical. They joined reproductive organs, bringing back the tingly feeling they first felt in High School. "Mmm, you're into it". Marie said, floating back a bit. "I seem to be doing well". Edd said, as they kissed. The moon lit their way, as they kissed, joining their reproductive organs. This truly was a magical night to behold. It was the most magical, as two people who loved one another, would spend the rest of their lives together.
That night, as they returned home, returned to the master bed, they slept, knowing they would have a great future together, with their family.
