ailor was in school, sitting, doing her workbook. It was close to the end of the day. Close to the time when things had to be packed up, and put away for the day. Sailor came out, seeing her godmother, Cree had picked her up for the day. "Sweetie, I am so excited for you to hear: Marie had her baby today". Cree said, happily. "That's great!". Sailor said. "I'm really happy". "What did they name him?". "Jeremiah". Cree said, gently. "I can't wait to see him". Sailor said. "Yep, he'll be there". Cree said with happiness in her voice. "Can we go see him?". Sailor asked. "Of course". Cree said. The girls got in their car, going over to Edd and Marie's house, it was a sunny day. It was the kind of day, that everyone would be glad about.

They drove over to the house, where Marie sat on the couch, holding her bundle of joy in her arms. Her Jeremiah. "Hey". Marie said in a friendly manner. "Hi". Sailor said. "This is Jeremiah". Marie said, gently. She showed Sailor, and Cree her baby boy. Jeremiah sat, sleeping. His eyes weren't opened yet. "He looks so cute". Sailor said. "He does". Cree said, gently. "He is wonderful". Marie said, gently. "It wasn't that bad doing it, they had me on all sorts of weird stuff, but we made it through". "That's good". Cree said. "He looks really nice". Sailor said. "He is". Marie said, gently. "You're his godmother". "You'll be able to look out for him if need be". "Ok". Sailor said. They looked on at Little Jeremiah, as he lay sleeping. He made some noise, as he wriggled. "He's doing very well". Marie said, gently. "That's really good". Sailor said. She and Cree enjoyed the company of Marie, and her new addition. Her new baby was doing well. Cree looked down at the ring on her finger. Soon, things would get even better than they were.

It truly was a good year. Marie had her child, there were things being explored, truths being revealed, new people to meet. It truly was a year for family. Marie was happy everyone was there for her, and Edd. Their marriage would represent that. It would represent just how good Cartoon Network, Western Animation, and everything truly was. Everything truly was great. Sure, it was a bit cynical, the era, but it was a good era, nevertheless. They would celebrate their big day. It was happening.

The big day had come, finally. Sailor had on her dress, as the maid of honor. After all of the time, all of the preparations, all of the parties had, all of the bridal showers had, today was the big day. Sailor let the hairstylist do her hair, and smooth her dress for the big day. "You look beautiful". The hairstylist said, as she curled Sailor's hair. "Thank you". Sailor said, as she got

her dress smoothed. "I'm so excited for you, sweetie". The hairstylist said. "You are the best one of Marie's". "I don't know about that". Sailor said. "But thank you". Sailor felt calm, yet talkative, as she was in party mode for the big wedding.

Marie came out of her suite, showing Sailor her dress. It was white, and somewhat frilly, although it had puffy sleeves, and a lace undertone as it did. "You look really beautiful". Sailor said, looking up at Marie. "Thank you, sweetie". Marie said, gently. "You look so wonderful". "I love your hair curled". "Angel". Marie came over, kissing Sailor's cheek. "Thank you". Sailor said. "You ready to party?". Marie asked, cocking a sly smile. "Kind of". Sailor said. "You know I sure am". Marie said, ruffling Sailor's hair. "Mm, I love you so much, baby". Marie said, kissing Sailor's cheek again.

"Do I have to drink?". Sailor asked. "Of course not". Marie said, gently. "If I do get drunk, you'll drag me to the bathroom right?". "I guess". Sailor said, rolling her eyes. "I'm teasin". Marie said, ruffling Sailor's hair. "This dress doesn't have a long train, so we'll be fine with that". Marie said. "I might not have to go to the bathroom, so, we'll do what we do there". "Ok". Sailor said. The stylist touched up Marie's hair, curling it one last time. It was an updo, so it would last a sufficient amount of time. "It's almost showtime". The director said, as Marie, and Sailor came to the suite entrance. Her bridesmaids were there as well. May, Lee, Janice, Sandra, and Kuki. They took a picture with Marie, and Sailor, as they stood with their dresses, and their corsages. They laughed, shared jokes, some adult jokes. Sailor played along, and laughed, adding some humor of her own.

Now, it was time to go to the wedding site. Sailor, as well as the other bridesmaids, and Marie got in the limo that would take them there. They shared adult jokes as they laughed, as well.

Now, it was showtime. They had their wedding at the Botanical Gardens, which was a nice place for a wedding. It was time now, for the main wedding party to process. Everyone from Cartoon Network was there. Eustace and Muriel, as well as some of the villains from "Courage the Cowardly Dog", Grim, Mandy, and Billy, The Powerpuff Girls made it, Johnny Bravo brought his date, who was pregnant, the Kids Next Door were there. Even some guests from Nickelodeon were there. The Time Warp Trio made it. That's right. Joe, Fred, and Sam were back. Even some 60's cartoons made it. Mr. Wizard, the Lizard, sat in the audience, looking out.

The main procession was about to begin. The music played, as the Bridesmaids walked down the aisle with their dates. Sailor walked down the aisle with someone much older than her, but he was family, and child friendly, so he was goofy, and down-to-Earth with her. They stood by the side, as finally, Marie made it down the aisle. She had on a stunning dress. Everyone looked at her, as she stood up top, then Edd, looking as handsome as ever, made it up there. The minister spoke.

"Friends, dearly beloved, friends of Western Animation, and of all cartoons, old, and new, we are gathered here today to celebrate this union of beloved best friends". "This union, while coming forth with both new, and old, has enlightened us, inspired us, and led us to be who we truly are, and embrace the part of ourselves we knew was a bit more dower, or embarrassing". "Today, the union of these two represents the union of lives, and of hearts coming together as one". "This is the union for Western Animation, and for all cartoons, new and old".

"Marie, if you would". The minister said. Marie recited her vows from her heart. "Edd, when I met you, we were two different people, and love was just a mention, but, we eventually grew to respect one another, fully, and be the people we wanted to be". "I love you, and I will always love you". "Until the day I die". "You are my reason". "I love you just the same".

"Edd, if you would". The minister said. Edd recited his vows. "Marie, I've always known you to be an amazing person". Edd said. "The moment I saw you, I knew you were truly a great addition, and that someday, we would have a family". "You are the most amazing thing that's happened to me, and I will always love you". "You are truly my greatest gift, and I will always love you".

The minister spoke again. "Marie, do you vow to honor, and love thy husband, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for all of time?". "I do". Marie said. "And Edd, do you vow to honor and love thy wife, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, and for all time?". "I do". Edd said. "Marie, do you take Edd to be your lawfully wedded husband?". "I do". Marie said. "Edd, do you take Marie to be your lawfully wedded wife?". "I do". Edd said. "I now pronounce you husband and wife". "You may now kiss the bride". The minister said. Edd and Marie kissed, as cheers were heard from everyone, everywhere. Everyone from Western Animation celebrated. It was truly a time to be happy.

That night, everyone celebrated being together. They didn't just celebrate a wedding. They celebrated family. They celebrated love, and they celebrated what truly a great era it was. It was a great era. It was a great time for Cartoons to be cartoons.
