Changes I've made:

-I've switched and changed around the tea episode

Steeper Wisdom was a tea shop Senseu Wu had opened up in the city of Ninjago. It was a sequel after his previous shop that had closed down, Steep Wisdom. But they had a challenge, well more of a competition. Steeper wisdom had company with another tea shop across the street run by another

nindroid robot, who seemed to be getting the upper hand in customers with its successful publicity stunts.

Yet, they didn't seem to be much of an enemy as the Ninja and Wu had thought. Rather, the nindroid actually saved Steeper Wisdom from catching on fire (and saving Wu's bead that was caught on fire). The point is, while more customers were heading to their competition, the competition wasn't their enemy. They just needed a better and more creative publicity stunt.

"Jay, will you please go to the back and grab the black tea at the top shelf? Oh and whatever you do, be sure to ignore the hatch that leads to my most valued and special secret teas that may or may not give a person some temporary powers if consumed. In fact uh, forget I said anything about the secret, yet enticing room," Sensei Wu announced as he stared towards the front of the counter while the other ninja around him eavesdropped. It almost felt like Sensei Wu intended for them to go since he was awfully explicit in details.

In the end, Lloyd surprises Kai after the tea effect wears off and is confused. He then gets kissed by Lloyd on his cheek and walks off.

After Master Wu finished with his instructions, the Ninja team including Nya snuck to the back room where they were forbidden from entering. Excited, Jay opened the door to reveal a closet full of rare teas that not even Sensei Wu bothered to tell anyone. The group woahed in awe as they all stepped in to explore the shelves full of mystical rare teas.

In no time, the group began to take their shot at each tea. "Woah woah look at this!" Jay exclaimed as he pointed to a row of tea jars at the third shelf and began pointing to each one that caught his eye the most. "Invisibili-tea, gravi-tea, explositivi-tea, hilira-tea," he listed.

Kai spotted a tea that caught his eye and grinned. "Ar-tea-ficial romance tea here I come. Wonder what it does," he said to himself before grabbing a cup and pouring some for himself. Meanwhile, Cole began to drink some illumina-tea. Surprise surprise, he began to glow. Meanwhile Kai as he took his first sip of tea, unaware of the effects, his eyes began to turn pink as the first person he looked towards was Lloyd.

Suddenly, an unquestionable burst of energy began to abrupt inside him as if he had no control. His heart began to flutter at the sight of the boy, staring at him in awe before going back to a cool face. "Hey Lloyd," Kai started as he began to get the green ninja's attention. Lloyd turned towards him. "Yeah?"

"Did you by any chance take a sip of that

cu-tea? Because you're looking awfully cute right about now." Everyone in the room got quiet over what Kai had just said as they stood staring wide mouthed over to Kai who simply had a smirked laced on his face while staring at Lloyd. Lloyd stood there shocked, wide eyed as he doubted over what he had just heard. He bit his lip and looked away, he didn't know what to say at that point.

"Say, I know I'm the master of fire and all, but my heat doesn't seem to be as hot as what you radiate." Kai continued, this time causing Lloyd to break a blush.

"Uh guys...? Is Kai okay?" Cole began to question, immediately knowing this was unusual behavior for Kai. "Oh no he must've drank some love tea!" Nya exclaimed, hopping down the ladder and headed over to the shelf Kai was leaning against. She picked up the half sipped tea and checked the name and read, "ar-tea-ficial romance?"

"That is definitely unnatural behavior alright, especially coming from Kai," Zane exclaimed, suddenly reappearing next to the group, making them jump. Confused, Zane turned his hand that held some invisibili-tea, and took another sip. "How long do you think these effects will last?" Meanwhile, in the background, Cole was trying his best to keep Kai from jumping onto Lloyd as Lloyd was practically against the shelf wall, his teeth clenched in uncomfortableness. He grunted as he tried to keep the determined love struck boy away from the blond. "Guys, a little help?" Cole called out as the other three turned towards Kai who had his eyes closed and made kissing faces.

"We can't let Sensei Wu see Kai like this, or he'll know we drank his teas," Nya announced as they all stepped outside the closet, intentionally leaving Kai stuck in there. Suddenly, Sensei Wu called out for them. "Did you guys go into the room I forbade? And since when did Cole learned to glow?"

"Uh... the internet?" Cole lied, giving an uneasy smile to their skeptical Sensei as he peered over the corner of the wall. "Okay.. checks out. Everyone back to work, we don't have time to idle." He announced before disappearing. Suddenly, Zane reappeared and Jay transformed into a medium sized octopus, thanks to the shapeshif-tea-ing he drank.

To prevent a chance from Lloyd getting cornered by Kai without them realizing which may result in some unimaginable love making consequences, the team advised that Lloyd stay out and travel throughout Ninjago until the effects wear off. "B-But guys—"

"Listen Lloyd, we know you can handle yourself but it's for your own good because right now, Kai has gone completely nuts. Now go!" Cole exclaimed. "Before he sees you out here and taking off."

Reluctant, Lloyd turned around and began running down the street, making a turn and disappearing. The team let out a relieved sigh. "I feel bad," Nya announced, wondering if the rest agreed. "As do I, but we were only doing what we believed to be was right."

"Cole! Nya! Zane! This isn't your break time, we got a shop to attend to," Sensei Wu called out, alerting the students. "Yes master Wu," the students replied together and went back into the building.

"Uh hi excuse me, I'd like a—"

"Ah hehe, one moment please!" Jay exclaimed as he peered through the open door way to see a long line of customers waiting for some time. Jay then turned back to the full stove as it laid busy with boiling tea pots. And he still had ten other orders to do at the same time. He let out an annoyed sigh and turned to see Kai on the ground meditating. "I could use some help here!" He exclaimed frustratingly to the boy who just sat there with his legs crossed and a smile laced on his face.

Jay walked over and picked up a cup of tea with the name and gasped. "Did you seriously just drink sereni-tea?!" Jay exclaimed in annoyance as the fire Ninjago began to glow a little in pink while two small pink birds landed on his shoulder. Jay could hear him exhale softly, his eyes still closed. "Snap out of it Kai come on!" He yelled, trying to disrupt his meditating and then had an idea. He turned over to his ear and began yelling it, trying to anger him hoping that would break him out of his trance. "Say, remember Halloween when you were wondering who are all your candy? Guess what? It was me!" He yelled in his ear, hoping that would anger him, but unfortunately it didn't. Jay then went through a bunch of outbursts and began yelling insults in Kai's ears, hoping that would anger him.

Just as he was beginning to lose hope, thinking that he'd have to do the whole tea serving duty on his own and let the tea effects take their effects, he grinned when Nya walked by after stocking a shelf with some tea. "Say, your sister's really neat, maybe I should go ask her on a date," he said in Kai's ear, noticing his eyebrows furrow in a bit of anger as his mouth also twitched to a frown. Then Jay had an idea. He was close.

"Wonder if I should go and ask Lloyd on a date if Nya rejects me," he jokingly grinned. But fun didn't last long because before Jay could finish his laugh, Kai opened up his pink eyes in anger as they changed to a red shade along with fire appearing in them. He let out a growl and the whole room filled with a blast of fire, practically cooking Jay, leaving him covered in ash, his skin all black.

Even though he succeeded, Kai still didn't end up helping, leaving Jay to return to his duties. "Have a lovely day," he greeted a customer, still covered in ash as he handed them their tea ordered and waved them off. If Jay managed to break Kai out of his serenity trance from the tea, that only meant he could definitely mean that he could break his crush or attraction to Lloyd too. By the looks of it, Kai is deeply and madly in love with the force he used in anger towards Jay to cook him.

The group huddled in a room together, trying to figure this out. "This isn't Kai. This effect better ware off soon because we can't keep isolating Lloyd like this."

"You've seen how crazy he is! He literally cooked me alive!" Jay exclaimed towards Nya's point, furrowing his eyebrows in outrage for a moment. "All of our effects have nearly wear offed, yet Kai's still there," Cole added. "It is probable that Kai may be sneaking sips from the closet room without us knowing," Zane added, worrying the other three as they stared towards each other. "That much tea can't be good for you! Surely, I mean, Sensei Wu has kept it away from the public on purpose. They may be in stable. What if he keeps drinking them? What'll happen then? Nya asked, hoping one of them had some sort of answer.

"There is a way to break the trance. I had done it just this afternoon before he cooked me alive. He was drinking sereni-tea and I had managed to eventually break off the spell through jealousy or something that really upset him," Jay recalled, informing the others as Nya gave a skeptical look to the boy. "Oh? What did you say?"

Jay nervously laughed as he scratched the back of his neck before answering, "oh you know... I just said, 'gee your sister's really great. I wonder if I'... Um... long story short, I later talked about asking out Lloyd as a joke! And that's when he went all furious!"

Nya still had a skeptical look on her face towards the blushing boy as Jay bit his lip and looked down, fumbling with his hands. "First thing we gotta do is lock that closet." Cole announced as the other three agreed, a stern look on their faces. Just as they were about to leave the room, they had almost run into Master Wu. "What's this about Kai and serenity now? And where is Lloyd? I haven't seen him all day."

The ninja looked at each other with awkward glances, mentally contemplated whether they should tell their sensei or not. "Kai? Oh uh he's just trying out some meditation to calm his uh... anger issues," Jay stated, lying through his teeth as he gave an uncomfortable smile. Cole rolled his eyes and stepped forward. "Master... what can you tell us about..

Ar-tea-ficial romance?" Sensei Wu gasped, widening his eyes while Cole stared towards him with a straight face, ignoring the other's glances.

"Where did you hear that name? Did you go into the forbidden closet I told you Jay specifically not to go?" Jay nervously chuckled, fumbling with his hands. After a moment of silence as he stared at the crowd, Jay broke. "Okay, yes we did! But you were being quite descriptive and it honestly felt like you intended for us to check it out!" He exclaimed, watching as Sensei Wu entered the room, his bamboo stick hitting the ground as he walked, looking at the ground and sighed. "Ar-tea-ficial romance is an unstable tea that hasn't even been properly tested. From what I do know is, that the tea basically speaks out your mind to the one the other has a crush on."

"What if the one who drinks it didn't have a crush?" Nya asked as she, alongside the others intently listened in. "Then then the tea either lays dormant until a crush had been formed or works on the next person that the drinker finds attractive. There's another tea, Flir-tea. Flir-tea on the other hand works the opposite. It's whoever's the first person they look at they begin to fall in love with and begin to flirt."

"I recall Nya saying that Kai had drank ar-tea-ficial romance," Zane spoke up. Sensei Wu let out another sigh and shook his head. "We've been hoping that the tea effect would ware off before you'd notice and by nightfall, but it seems Kai still has it. We had to tell Lloyd to step away because... Well, Kai was going crazy over him," Cole explained. Wu lifted his head up and looked at the four. "Kai going crazy over Lloyd? But that's... but that's ridiculous."

"It's true Master. Kai could be seen trying to get his hands on the boy occasionally and speaking his mind to him as if none of us were even in the same room. For Lloyd's own benefit, we told him to walk around Ninjago," Zane explained as Sensei Wu widened his eyes again. "So you're telling me he's been out there all alone unguarded all day?!" He exclaimed before running out of the room, the rest following. "Master! Master wait!" They called out, chasing after him as they notified Wu standing outside the shop and staring out to the illuminated streets of Ninjago.

"We're sorry master. We should've listened to you," Cole sighed, placing his hand on the saddened Sensei's shoulder. "But master, please tell us. Is there any way of reversing these effects?" Sensei Wu sighed and shook his head. "I don't... know. It's still in need of testing. But what I do know is, it lasts longer than the others. Ar-tea-ficial tea is the most strongest. It can make the shyest person the most outgoing and open person. It makes you speak your inner thoughts over the one you're crushing on," the sensei explained, making the rest of the group gasp. "Cole turned towards the group. "You guys don't think..."

"Not think... Know." Zane added, Nya widening her eyes as the four began to shout,

"Kai likes Lloyd?!"

— "Okay. So the good news is, Kai may not have been taken seconds to extend the effects. The bad news is, we don't know how to remove them," Jay spoke aloud while Sensei Wu looked through his shelves of secret tea. "How many of these teas have you Ninja gone through?" He grunted, flabbergasted at the sight of messed up shelves. Again, Jay nervously laughed.

"Here we go." Sensei Wu said as he pulled out a jar of black tea. The ninja looked up confused over what exactly the jar was.

"Hold this Cole." He said as he handed him the jar. Cole studied the jar while Wu went down the ladder. "What is this?" He asked him as Wu took the jar from him and walked over to his kettle. "Nigh-tea night. It can put anyone to sleep and basically restart themselves over any malfunction they may have gone through. Though there is one problem."

"What is it Sensei?" Jay asked. "I don't know how long it'll keep a person asleep for. I don't even know if this is the right tea to do the job but it's the closest to anything we have here. There's also the chance of a memory wipe. I was hesitant to come to this resort, but we can't keep Lloyd away. We don't even know how long the effects could last for. We have no other choice." Without asking anyone else for an agreement, Wu began to frantically put in the ingredients inside his tea kettle. The teapot didn't really need any warming up, it instantly heated itself up.

Once Wu closed the lid, steam began to come out slowly but surely. "Zane and Nya, I need you two to go out and find Lloyd. Jay and Cole, it's your job to make sure Kai doesn't cause any trouble, let alone sees Lloyd for that matter until the tea is ready and is set in place." The Ninja were hesitant in the master's plan, but they knew it was the only way to bring Kai back to his usual self. They had to obey their Sensei's command.

— Lloyd laid low as he walked through the lit streets of Ninjago. The city was quite beautiful and calming as it let him think, despite the honking of cars every now and then. Regardless, Lloyd focused more over the actions of today. He still believed it was tea that had made Kai that way. Sure Kai was cocky and boastful type of guy, specifically around ladies and doesn't mind the attention, but... I'm sure he wouldn't just open up about a crush around his friends especially if his crush were in the same room. "What am I saying? It was the tea talking. Not him. Get a grip Lloyd. You're a hopeless romantic." Lloyd sat and stared down at the bridge, looking into his reflection in the river.

Did the words of affection Kai had said to him really have an impact on him? Surely not. Lloyd's never witnessed something like this before. "How am I supposed to feel about this? Should I like it since someone is giving some affection to me? But Kai is a boy, would destiny be shifted or altered because of a boy? Is this my destiny?" He knew the tea wouldn't last long. It was temporary. He was sure by the time he got back, Kai would be back to his cocky self. Speaking of which, he decided to leave and head back now, wondering if it was okay to return back.

— "Lloyd? Lloyd?" Nya called out along with Zane. Through Zane's vision, he had night vision, sensors, and facial recognition all set up making sure to detect the correct person. They continued to move throughout the city, calling out to the boy. Meanwhile, Jay and Cole began to track down where exactly Kai was. They looked through their rooms, only to discover that Kai had taken another sharing of sereni-tea. "Oh no not again! Do not anger him or you'll be burnt to a crisp!" Jay yelled out towards Cole's face as he squinted his eyes after being yelled towards. He wiped away the saliva and walked towards the tranquil Kai. "Maybe he's doing that because he can't find Lloyd?" He speculated. Jay crossed his arms against his chest and thought. "Do you think we should leave him here until you know who shows up?"

"You mean Lloyd?" Jay stupidly questioned, making Cole turn towards him in frustration at his lack of thought.

But Jay realized too soon. They both saw Kai's pink eyes appear as he got up ecstatically. "Lloyd? Where? Where is he?!" He exclaimed, getting up in both of their faces. "Really Jay?!" Cole yelled out as they now had to deal with a frantic love stricken boy. "Where is he?!" Kai yelled out, getting upset over the two ninja's lacking his answer. "Lloyd? Oh uh... he's uh... in the bathroom!" Jay lied, Cole giving him a look as Kai stood there, getting close to Jay's face, a skeptical yet sinister look on his face. Jay nervously chuckled. "You better not be lying to me Jay..." Kai said as he began to leave the room and headed towards the bathroom. The two ninja followed suit. "Okay, on my count, once he gets there, we lock him in the bathroom," Cole whispered towards the blue ninja. Jay nodded, hoping this time he doesn't mess up.

As Kai crept over towards the bathroom, he notified the door was unlocked. "Hey Lloyd... where—" suddenly, Kai was pushed into the bathroom and both Cole and Jay immediately shut the door, angering the fire ninja. "Sorry buddy, but we'll let you out soon," Cole grunted as he tried his best to use his strength to keep the door shut along with Jay's strength.

Rough banging and yelling could be heard. "I'm going to kill you both!" Kai yelled as he let out an angered grunt, charging at the door along with kicking it. "Gah... this door isn't... going to hold on for much longer," Cole grunted, using all his strength. "The stupid door locks from the inside, not out," Kay pointed out as Cole rolled his eyes. "Thanks for for the clue captain obvious."

Sensei Wu ran over towards them. "What's going on? What's with all the noise?"

"We've got Kai trapped inside the bathroom, thanks to Jay waking him up from his serenity," Cole pointed out, making Jay yell out a "hey!" In annoyance. "This is not good. Not good at all. The more angrier he gets from being kept away from his love interest, the stronger the tea makes him in anger. And with a hot tempered person like Kai, I'm afraid we're playing with fire. Literally," Sensei Wu warned, shaking his head which only worried the two ninja even more. "So now what're we supposed to do?!" Cole yelled out. "Are you saying he could burn this whole place down?!" Jay yelled out towards the Master. "It's a possibility, we need to do everything we can go prevent him from going to that extent. In the meantime, we need the rest to return!" Sensei Wu yelled out. "I'll be right back!"

Sensei Wu yelled out as he ran to his closet and began to stressfully look through his shelves of rare teas that'll bring Lloyd some benefit. "Ahaha," he said aloud as he grabbed the jar of solidi-tea, the tea of strength. Master Wu quickly readied the tea and eventually once it was ready, rushed back over to the black ninja and handed him a cup. "Here, drink this! It'll boost your strength just for enough time so that hopefully they'll be back. In the meantime, Jay. Try to calm Kai down by speaking about Lloyd. He may calm down," Wu suggested as Jay began to frantically think.

Jay peaked over behind him to stare over at the furiously angered red head. "H-Hey there Kai," the red eyed boy stared at Jay angrily, clenching his teeth as he gave another grunt of a tug. "Let me out!" He yelled, banging against the door. "I'll burn this door down if I have to!"

"Kai, what do you like about Lloyd?" Jay innocently asked, hoping that would be a good place to start. He nervously laughed, the silence came almost suddenly. Surprisingly, Cole didn't need to hold the door back for once. Jay nervously peaked over and saw Kai's eyes light up a little lighter. Not pink per say, but they were a little lighter shade of red.

"His looks Jay, his outfit, personality, his eyes. His powers. I've always wanted to be like him! But now, why be like him when I can just have him to myself?!" Suddenly, a large jolt could felt against the door as flames began to come out of Kai's hand. He surprised the two as he began to burn the door after pushing Jay and Cole away. They stared in awe and shock as the door slowly began to abrupt in flames. Suddenly, the shop's doors began to open, causing the bells to jingle as the rest of the Ninja frantically ran in, alongside Lloyd. "You've.. you've found him!" Wu exclaimed in happiness, hugging his nephew as they took a brief moment. Both Cole and Jay ran towards him. "Uh hate to break the moment, but Master Wu is that tea ready? Kai's burning down the door as we speak!"

"What?" Sensei exclaimed as he ran to the room and grabbed his tea cup, pouring a hot cup of the nigh-tea night tea. "Lloyd. He only wants you. Which is why I feel you have a better chance at giving him this," Sensei Wu instructed, handing him the small light blueish green cup. "What is this?" Lloyd asked, confused while Wu brought him out of the room. "That's not important. What's important is you give him this tea before he burns this whole shop down! Now go!" Lloyd was pushed forward as he hesitantly made his way down the hallway nervously. He peered over to where the smoke was coming.

"K-Kai?" He called out, his tone showing a bit of fear as the grunting of Kai's stopped almost instantly. He peered over to the restroom's door that had smoke pouring out from the bottom. "Lloyd?" Kai spoke, opening the burnt door as they stared at each other in surprise. Lloyd took note of the boy's now pink eyes, making him realize he still had the effects. "How's it going with you?" Lloyd made sure to be careful around him, worried Kai may make some sudden movements as he also made sure to not spill the tea.

"Better now that you're here," the response was as Kai slowly crept closer to the green ninja. "I've been wondering where you were all day. I've been waiting."

"Here, do you want some tea? I made it just for you," he lied straight through his teeth, adding a smile just for him as he hoped it would be even more convincing. Lloyd handed him the cup as Kai took it, smiling back at him . "For me?" A nod. With one quick sip of the tea, Kai suddenly dropped the tea, his smile going away as he gave a sense of daze. Lloyd had jumped back, unaware of the effects while Kai looked as if he was dizzy. His eye color changed back to black, but he looked as if he was going to black out.

And that's exactly what happened. Kai fell right into Lloyd's arms. "Huh! Master Wu!" Lloyd yelled out, panicking over what he just did, unaware if this was supposed to happen or not.

The door behind him opened as all the rest of the Ninja ran towards Lloyd, including Wu. "He's asleep under the effects of the Nigh-tea night tea. It'll refresh his body and hopefully remove the effects of ar-tea-ficial romance," Sensei Wu explained as Nya broke out to a sob in the background, knowing the Ed consequences. "Let's hope he'll wake up to a fresh recovery," Wu later added as Lloyd looked back at Kai's asleep body. He ran a hand through the brown haired boy's gelled hair and frowned down.

"Cole, can you and Lloyd bring Kai to his bed? We'll need to monitor him." A nod from Cole as he approached the saddened and unconscious boy. Lloyd knew he couldn't just sit there as he hesitantly got up and grabbed Kai by the right shoulder, while Cole took the left. As Wu watched the two Ninja carry Kai away, he sighed. "Only time will tell."

— It had been a few days and Kai was still unconscious. Lloyd has known about the consequences and everything about her effects of flir-tea and ar-tea-ficial romance. There was no surprise when Lloyd had angrily lashed out for a moment. He had been monitoring Kai close by. But he knew that it was hurting his insides watching the unconscious boy since he now knew there was a possibility of him never waking up. "Come on Kai, please wake up," he whispered, staring down at the boy who did not budge.

Ny frequently stopped by as well, even adding to some physical support with Lloyd. Kai never really had a best friend type of bond like Jay and Cole did, he mainly was a bit closer towards Nya and Lloyd, mainly Nya. Regardless, Kai was a universal type of close friend amongst the Ninja. There has to be something, some kind of tea to wake someone up. Lloyd kept thinking of possibilities to wake up the boy. He didn't even care if he didn't recognize him. He just wanted to know if he was alive. At times he would put his hand to his chest to know if his heartbeat was still there.

"Still nothing?" Sensei Wu asked the two as Lloyd let out a disappointed sigh and shook his head. "Lloyd, you can't keep staying here. It's making you feel worse. Go out and take a breath of air. It'll make you feel better," Wu advised as Lloyd turned back to Kai. "But what if he wakes up while I'm out? He wouldn't do the same for me."

Sensei Wu let out a sign and approached the boy, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "We all want to see Kai back," he reassured. "I'm sure he wouldn't want you staying inside all day mourning."

Lloyd stayed quiet, closing his green eyes for a moment? Trying to think over what he should do. "Come on Lloyd, it'll do us good and hopefully raise our spirits." Nya joined in, hopefully convincing Lloyd a bit more since he knew Kai meant a lot more to her as well. Slowly nodding, he got up and began to follow her, taking another glance at the boy before leaving the room after he felt her hand on his shoulder.

— More time passed and Lloyd was back to his same usual spot. He does still help out around the shop, but not without the worry of Kai still in his mind. Now that he was on his break, he watched the boy. After he closed his eyes, he sensed movement and then quickly opened them. There, he saw Kai stir around, furrowing his eye brows as Lloyd backed away, shocked. The red ninja sat up in place, a bit groggy as if he had hit his head and rested against the back of the bed. He turned towards Lloyd, his eyes back to black. That brought a little relief in him that the effects of the tea were gone.

"Lloyd, Master Wu says you need—" Cole cuts himself off once his eyes land towards Kai. "Oh my goodness! Kai!" He yelled, approaching the boy with a smile. "What happened?" Kia asked, confused and dazed as Lloyd broke out a larger smile. He's back, and his memory hasn't been wiped. "K-Kai, it's really you," Lloyd finally spoke, approaching the ninja alongside the others who joined.

"Yeah, why wouldn't it be me?" He doesn't remember the tea effects. "Kai! Good to have you back," Sensei Wu exclaimed happily. "Kai!" Nya exclaimed before approaching her brother for a hug. "What's going on?" He asked, the others looking over at each other and contemplating wether he deserved to know or not. All eyes turned to Lloyd who stared at Kai with a bit of a smile. "I love you too Kai," the Green Ninja spoke with a blushing smile. The other ninja's awed and cheered while Kai still laid there confused and surprised. Lloyd later left the room with a smile, tending back to the counter.

Kai could deny his feelings for him all he wants, but everyone knows his thoughts on Lloyd. Even Lloyd himself. While Lloyd himself wasn't aware of these feelings, he knew that just like Spinjitzu, he can learn to understand them. But for now, he was grateful Kai was back to his usual self and not his crazy aggressive romantic self. Cocky seems to be best on him, and the occasional flirting here and there.
