SUGAWARA KOUSHI CAN'T BELIEVE IT. HE THINKS AS HE IS LOOKING AT THE NEWS FLASHING ON THE SCREEN. HE CAN'T BELIEVE IT.
"You heard, Hinata and Kageyama got on the National Team! You saw the news this morning, right?" Suga asked as he slumped on the sofa taking out some notes given to him by his students as Daichi sat beside him holding two cups of coffee.
"Yeah! The both of them are doing great." Daichi said, smiling as he put one of the cups on the table and drank on the one he's holding. He then looked at the window, like his mind is somewhere far away. Suga opened his mouth to asked but Daichi started to talk. "I still remember when they can't get along though. That was a nightmare."
Suga can't help but laugh on the memory. "I know right, good thing they got closer. Sometimes, I even think they're so close I thought they were dating but they aren't saying anything about dating so.." He could remember the two whispering sometimes, cuddling, or seeing Kageyama put his arms around Hinata.
"Yeah, I even thought Kageyama would be so down when Hinata went to Brazil but he's still like normal, you know, doing volleyball and it looked like he didn't sulk when we get together." Daichi said now getting closer to him and putting his arms around Suga.
"Kageyama can't act like he isn't sad, right? "
"I think so."
And they just rested till they feel like they are ready to prepare dinner.
Suga opened the television and checked the watch on his wrist, 6:30 pm. Just in time for Japan Team Interview after they defeated Oikawa. He could see their freak duo with Hoshiumi, sitting beside each other and already arguing. Atsumu is talking with Bokuto, Sakusa and Ushijima is on the farthest left while Yaku and the other members were chilling as they are waiting for the interview to start.
"How did it feel now that you defeated Argentina?" The interviewer asked smiling to the Japan Team.
"Oh it was really great! Grand King-Oikawa-san was so great. He got even better than last year but I didn't play then so I don't really know." Hinata said enthusiastically. It's his first game in the National Team.
"They are good but we won't lose again next time." Tobio then added as he shifted closer to Hinata.
"I bet I can score more than you Hinata!" Hoshiumi shouted like they aren't seated together.
"Oh you bet Hoshiumi-san!" Hinata stood up and even put up a fighting stance.
Suga shooked his head. Hinata is still the same.
"You two, shut up!" Yaku scolded the two which calmed down a little and spoke "That was really great, some of their spikers are kind of like Sakusa and Ushijima but nothing we can't handle, right guys?"
Some of the teammates nodded.
"Yes, Oikawa Tooru, should come back here in Japan." Ushijima said in a very serious voice and made Atsumu and Kageyam stand up and protest.
Bokuto laughed. "Oh that guy was fun specially when he smirked at Kageyama and he looked so angry."
"I really hate it when he hugged Sho-chan, too. Aren't you jealous Kageyama? He looks like a homewrecker!" Atsumu said which made the entire team quiet. "Oops"
"O-oh, Why are you asking Kageyama-san, Miya-san?" The interviewer who is obviously overwhelmed by the team's energy found her voice to speak.
Even Suga who's watching raised an eyebrow. He noticed the members looking to each other, and Kageyama and Hinata was whispering next to each other. He saw Tobio nods and breathe deeply.
"It isn't that deep really. Obviously because we are partners." Kageyama said in a very monotoned voice. He glanced a bit to Atsumu and continued "Also, thank you Miya-san, we've been planning to announce" Announce? "soon that me and Hinata got married." WHAT!?
Suga grabbed his phone and typed in capital letters WHO KNEW THESE GUYS ARE MARRIED!?
Tanaka: WTF!? I have no idea!
Noya: My kohai got married before me!
Kinoshita: Who got married?
Narita: It was showing dude, Kageyama and Hinata.
Ennoshita: I'm shocked wow.
Yachi: Suga-san, they said they'll tell you this week's dinner but that happened.
Asahi: So Atsumu slipped up, I hope they don't get in trouble.
Tadashi: That's true. Also we just knew last week, too. Ask Tsukki about it, he was there when it happened.
Kei: Shut up, Yamaguchi!
Tadashi: Sorry, Tsukki but you should tell Suga-san.
Kei: It was a year ago when we went to Brazil. they just thought it was a good time to get married and the next day, I became a witness to their wedding.
Daichi: Wow, they're so impulsive. They better tell us more when we meet up, like when did they even date.
Suga: That's right!
Kei: They're dating after the Nationals, you guys didn't notice?
Tanaka: WHATTTT
Noya: NOO
Kinoshita: Oh really? That's why they got so close!
Narita: How did they even hide it?
Yamaguchi: I don't think they were hiding it cause I saw them make out at the clubroom.
Ennoshita: Ohh they need to tell me more of what they are doing in the clubroom that
Okay, nvm. I don't wanna know!
Suga: These kids have many things to explain to us!
Tanaka: They didn't even tell us! And the Jackals know!
Kei: They aren't hiding it. More like you guys just didn't notice!
Asahi: Atleast, they planned to tell us so calm down, everyone.
Suga: We aren't there anymore, and I noticed okay, just not sure!
Daichi: Oh yeah, we talked about that last November.
He turned his phone off and continued watching and saw Hinata flashing his ring.
"Oh Can I add something?" Hinata asked and the interviewer nodded.
"I'm pretty sure my high school friends are gonna like be mad at us. I was gonna tell them first but this happened so let's just all talk when we meet, Tobio's treat!" and he clapped his hand as Kageyama hit him.
"Why isn't it your money, idiot!"
"Because you love me!"
"Shut up, Idiot!"
"Why? You asked me!"
Well, the interview didn't end that badly so Suga guessed he can wait for a week.
"Suga-saaan"
"Hinata, where is you partner in crime!" Suga said that but he hugged Hinata fondly! This guy's just cute even when he looks matured and buff.
"Come on, Suga-san! Let's wait for the others first before you grill us out!" Suga laughed but he sat down again. They waited an hour before they all got completed. Suga looked at all of them, they changed but somehow they're the same, too.
They ate peacefully and are now drinking and chilling when the attention went to the married couple.
"So you guys have been flirting behind our backs!" Tanaka accusingly pointed a finger to Hinata.
"What? No! We didn't hide it, you just didn't notice. Yachi, you noticed, right?" Hinata looked at Yachi for confirmation and she nodded.
"You guys have to tell us! I just thought you guys got closer after we graduate!"Suga said.
"And you got married without inviting us!" Noya said as he slumped on Asahi's shoulders.
"But we didn't intend to. We just saw an ad and figured maybe we should. And Brazil is too far to invite for a unprepared wedding." Hinata said as Kageyama nods to show his agreement. Tsukki scoffed.
"They didn't even have a ring at that time. How did your team know though? You two idiots just can't keep a secret."
"What? You're still rude, Kei. Anyway, it's Kageyama's fault. He got jealous when we were at the changing room last week when Atsumu was whispering somethinng about his surprise to Omi-san. Even if he knew something is going on with Omi-san and Miya-san, he lashed out in front of the National team and Iwaizumi-san! That's so hilarious " Hinata laughed as he hit Kageyama's arms. The setter is sporting a scowl on his face with a faint blush and his arm crossed in front of his chest.
"Well, you guys plan to celebrate here with us for your anniversary, right?" Yamaguchi said as he started to eat again.
Kageyama nods. "Yeah, actually we have invitations right now. We took this opportunity to give it to you guys." He looked at Hinata and nudged him. "Boke, get the invitations on your bag."
"Oh right! Here you go guys." Hinata handed over invitations one by one.
They all replied their thanks.
"Anyway, it's sad we aren't there for you guys when you're just starting and when you got married but I'm happy for you guys. If you guys need anything. Just tell me or Daichi, know that we will be here, okay?" Suga said as he hugged Hinata and pat Kageyama's hair.
"Thank you, Suga-san" they both said.
"Hinata, so you're Kageyama now?" Asahi asked
"Yeah, it's still Hinata in public though cause I already am well known for that."
"But why did you hide it for a year?" Daichi asked before drinking on his glass.
"Well, we got really busy, and we can't meet with everyone present so we decided to just tell when everybody is present." Kageyama was the one who answered.
"They didn't think of just visiting us one by one, it's actually pretty dumb."Tsukki commented obviously wanting to provoke the two.
"You know, Tsukki. Your snide comments has less effect now after I saw you cry when we were saying our wedding vows." Everyone then teased Tsukishima and the guy in question scowled.
"I won!" Hinata whispered to Kageyama and laughed.
"Still kinda sulky that asshole Miya got to know before us! Asahi, let's get married secretly, too!" Noya said as he nudged Asahi on his arms. Asahi just laughed, humoring Noya.
"Noya-senpai!" He knows Noya still loved to be called that. "Don't worry, we didn't tell the team because we want to but you were the first person we thought of inviting. Also you're still my favorit senpai." Hinata said, knowing the effect of his words toward some senpai.
"Oh yeahh? You guys are paid now. You invites your amazing senpai first right?" And Hinata nods.
"Of course! You guys are our favorite!"
"Told you they are in a relationship"
"They look so nice together"
"Hinata and Kageyama's wedding pics leaked!?"
"Ninja Shoyo and King of the Court, Kageyama is off the court!? NOO!"
