Hello again...
After two months resting and writing some chapters for my next story I have returned to publish again. go ... things have changed after my last publication both in the world and here in FanFiction I am very happy that there are more people and I publish writing and reading in my original language (Spanish). I'm thinking of republishing my next stories in my original language or both. But I will see that later. What matters now is that I will re-publish this successful series that was inspired by my favorite Netflix series (big mouth). with nothing more to say I'll let you read the next chapter

After a well-deserved birthday celebration, Lila and the rest of her friends had returned to class. In a few days it would be the homecoming dance at Blu Sky High School. Nico and Pedro had little time to continue organizing the party but their organization did not prevent them from studying or at least Pedro who was copying the results of the last activity that the teacher left them all.
"Thank you for giving me the answers Felipe" thanked Pedro copying the results in his notebook
"What have you been doing all weekend?" asked the red macaw
"Organizing a party is not as easy as it seems" replied Pedro "mainly if you are in charge of everything"
"Until when are you going to continue working with that canary" I speak in an irritating voice
"Hey, it's not so bad working with him," Pedro clarified.
"I think you're starting to like that boy right?"
"What are you going with all this Felipe?" Pedro asked, tired of his friend's behavior.
"That dwarf just caused you problems, remember, the cinema, the gym in the hallways"
"Yes, but it was an accident"
"Don't tell me you're in love with him"
"You're crazy Felipe" proclaimed Pedro "You're just jealous that I can't spend time with you and the boys and you know I don't need you to help me with my homework" Pedro takes his things and leaves Felipe
"Very well go," said Felipe "why don't you tell your Canary boyfriend to help you with your feelings"
As Pedro walked away from Felipe, Nico entered the classroom with a gift bag in his hands, looking from afar at Lila writing some notes in her notebook, her beautiful eyes, shiny hair and her pretty face made Nico blush inside. With great courage the adolescent canary approached the desk where Lila was sitting
"Hi Lila" greeted Nico
"Hi Nico" greeting Lila "I'm glad to see you"
"I'm also happy to see you" Nico replied with a little blush "Lila wanted to give you this" she shows her her gift "this time it's not the wrong gift"
"Nico, you don't need to buy me something" Lila takes the gift
"You are my friend and I like you very much that is why I want to give you this"
"Thanks Nico" Lila thanked "I bet you want me to use it, right?"
"Fine if you want"
Lila was about to open her gift but the teacher Miriam had entered the classroom and to avoid problems. Lila hid the gift in her backpack to open it later "I think I'll open it in Gymnastics I don't want the teacher Miriam to take the gift from me"
"Okay, see you later" Nico said goodbye to her lover and sat on her desk without taking her eyes off Lila.
"And how are you Romeo?" spoke a voice behind Nico
"Hey, don't do that, you almost gave me a heart attack," Nico replied, a little angry at the cardinal's action.
"You were looking at Lila, right?" the cardinal asked "you haven't told him yet"
"No, but I would like to tell you" Nico sighed as his eyes shone in Lila's hair.
"And why don't you do it during the night of the dance?" proposed the cardinal
"I thought the same as you, but what if he doesn't accept me?"
"Just be yourself Nico invite her to dance and when you feel that it is the perfect moment you tell her"
As Nico and Pedro chatted, Felipe looked at Pedro while Nigel couldn't believe the bully cardinal was forming a new friendship with the canary.
"How can you keep talking to that dwarf?" Nigel spoke surprised by the change in attitude of Pedro
"I don't know but that dwarf has to disappear" replied Felipe looking at his friend's new friendship
"And how do you plan to do it?" asked the young cockatoo
"He has to have a weakness, we all have one and he is no exception" replied the Scarlet Macaw.
"I ... I ... I can investigate your friend Nigel" Gaby spoke with great emotion
"Than?" Nigel said surprised
"Excellent idea Gaby" Felipe interrupted "for you to help Nigel with his problem"
Without saying more words, Gaby got up from her seat and sat at a distance from Nico and Pedro, who continued talking.
"Why did you tell him that?" Nigel asked very annoyed looking at his friend "now it will bother me more"
"Don't bother boy that's why we put her in our group, we have to give her a chance," Felipe replied, blackmailing his friend.
The teacher Miriam started teaching but not all the students paid attention to her. Like Roberto who secretly looked at Jewel thinking of the right words to confess his feelings during the dance. But Jewel was not in the same state as Roberto. As she watched the mood change Rafael made when he turned around to see Eva sitting next to her best friend, the toucan girl blushed inwardly every time she looked into Rafael's beautiful eyes. But not everyone was in love. Felipe looked at Nico and Pedro with a lot of anger while Gaby clung as much as possible to listen to the conversation of both friends. 30 minutes after class was over and it was time for gymnastics, the women headed to the locker room to get ready for their sports classes
"And what did Nico give you?" Jaqueline asked as she tied her shoelaces.
"I don't know, I haven't seen it yet," Lila replied as she arranged her head feathers.
"Come on Monroy!" shouted Ana the Yellow Macaw, calling Jaqueline's attention "we are already warming up" she noticed with great emotion leaving the dressing room
"Wait for me!" Jaqueline said "I'll see you outside Lila!"
When Jaqueline left, Lila finished preparing herself and took the moment to open the gift from her Canarian friend. The packaging was small and the ribbon was the same color as her eyes the moment Lila opened her gift. She remembered the mistake Nico made when she gave her the wrong gift. The special gift was a cap similar to Nico's but with the difference that the colors were not green and blue, but the same color as Lila's eyes and the blue color was stronger and brighter. The beautiful cap had a shine that made it more striking. In the middle of the cap was a note that said "for the best girl in the world." Lila blushed when she read that note in her mind, she never thought that Nico would be so considerate and affectionate with her.
"Come on Lila they are waiting for us" Breeze spoke interrupting Lila's thoughts
"Yes ... I'm coming" Lila put her gift in her locker and left the dressing room
"Why did it take so long?" Rafael wondered accompanied by her friends Blu and Kipo in the gym.
"I'm here, I'm here" Nico spoke entering the gym without being seen by the coach until she approached her friends
"You're late" Rafael clarified "again"
"I was busy looking for something," Nico replied with a bit of anguish.
"What thing?" Kipo asked
"Have you ever seen a notebook with the same stripes as my cap?" asked the canary
"No ..." Blu replied "Why do you ask?"
"For nothing ... for nothing ..." Nico replied a little nervous "I just wanted to know if they saw her"
"No brother" replied Rafael
"Less talk and more action gentlemen" interrupted Professor Celestino "Quickly form a line to climb the tightrope"
"Not!" all the students responded
For some students the Gymnastics class was torture and also a waste of time but for sports lovers it was the best activity of all like Roberto who showed his skills to all the girls to get the attention of Jewel like Kimberly, Josefina and Jaqueline that they adored. . The practice of any sporting activity. But they were not intended to attract the attention of men. After an hour of pain and suffering, it was time to take a break in the school cafeteria.
"My whole body hurts," Eva said, complaining of pain as she waited her turn for the cook to serve her lunch with Jewel.
"Is it because you don't exercise?" Jewel replied proudly "I don't feel a single muscle ache".
"I hope I don't see any more ropes for the rest of the day."
"And how are you with your new friend?" The Macaw Spix girl changed the conversation
"What are you talking about?"
"Don't pretend you don't know" he mockingly replied "your friend the Toucan"
"I thought you didn't want to know anything about him"
"Well, you were right; I shouldn't have judged him without first meeting him"
"Do you really want to know?" Eva asked with a big smile on her beak.
"Yes ..." Jewel replied "well if you want to tell me"
"Okay, I'll tell you"
While Jewel and Eva waited for their breakfast, Nico talked to Pedro while the cook served them a sandwich.
"Hey, by chance you saw a notebook with green and blue stripes during the penultimate class" Nico asked her co-worker
"The notebook where you were writing teacher Miriam's class notes" asked Pedro and Nico nodded to her friend's question "No but I thought you saved it" ·
"Demons" cursed the canary
"You can buy another; you don't need to have the same laptop"
"It's not just any notebook" Nico clarified with a bit of exaggeration "that notebook is very special to me"
"Much more special than Lila?"
"Yes ... I mean no" Nico sighed "You saw her yes or no"
"No. I could hardly pay attention to the class" replied Pedro
"I have to find her" Nico walks away from his friend to leave the dining room
"Hey, hey, hey calm down" Pedro stopped Nico "I'll help you find your precious notebook but now it's lunchtime the happiest hour of all"
"Okay, I'll look for her later" Nico answered more calmly "Do you want to sit with me and my friends?" She pointed to her friends who were waiting for her at one of the tables.
"Mmmm ... I don't know, I don't think your friends like it" replied Pedro, looking at Nico's friends from afar.
"They will not judge you believe me" the canary encouraged his new friend
"Okay, I just hope you like it" Pedro agreed to have lunch with Nico and his friends
"So are they coming to the dance?" Blu asked while eating his salad.
"Yes of course I'll come" Kipo replied "Nico said it would be an unforgettable night"
"Yes ... it sure will" Rafael spoke looking from afar at Eva chatting with Jewel at one of the tables.
"Rafael stops seeing Jewel's accomplice" Blu caught the Toco Toucan's attention by giving him a light pat on the head
"I… no… I was… looking…. to Eva Gilberto de Oliveira "replied Rafael, naming Eva's full name
"I already told you Rafa ... don't get your hopes up about her. She will play with your feelings" Blu reminded his friend.
"How do you know that she is like Jewel?" Rafael asked with a bit of seriousness.
"Hello guys" Nico greeted interrupting his friends who stopped talking when they looked at the bully cardinal
"Ammm ... hello" Pedro greeted a little nervous when Nico's friends looked at him with a bit of seriousness
"I brought Pedro to have lunch with us" Nico spoke again "I hope there is no problem"
"Okay," Blu replied, "you can sit with us"
Nico and Pedro sat down but Pedro felt uncomfortable because Nico's three friends wouldn't stop looking at him since they themselves knew that Pedro had hurt Nico in the art room.
"So what were they talking about?" Nico asked
"It's Rafi ... he's still obsessed with Eva" replied the pink spatula
"Kipo!" Rafael was alarmed and blushed when his friend answered the canary's question
"Eva Gilberto if I know her" Pedro spoke confidently and looking at Eva from afar "she is studying singing in a private place"
"It is true?" Rafael asked surprised with Pedro's confession
"Yes, but since she doesn't do well in that class" replied Pedro "I heard that the teacher plans to remove her from the choir"
"How do you know that?" the young toucan asked more interested
"Because I study like her" replied the cardinal once more "if you want I can give you the address so that one day you can see her sing"
At first Rafael was annoyed with Pedro's words (since they seemed offensive) but when he offered to help him by giving him the address where Eva usually practices singing, he calmed down a bit. Blu and Kipo couldn't believe that Pedro was a good person; maybe his statistics against him were wrong
"So they are coming to the homecoming dance?" Gaby asked while having lunch with Nigel and Felipe
"I don't know, it seems very silly" replied Nigel
"Come on, it will be fun" Gaby encouraged her friend "there will be dancing, romantic music and food"
"I'd rather spend my day off on the street than in a silly dance," replied the Cockatoo with great bitterness.
"What do you say, Felipe, will you come to the dance?" the cockatoo woman asked her second friend
Felipe was not paying attention to Nigel and Gaby's conversation as he watched Pedro from afar talking and laughing with his new friends. The cardinal was changing if he kept dating Nico he would become a weakling like everyone else
"Hey, stop looking at Pedro" caught the attention of the gossiping macaw.
"How can Pedro like to be with him?" Felipe wondered as he bit into a piece of carrot wishing that that vegetable was Nico.
"If he wants to be a weakling like the others, let her do it" answered Nigel "but nobody is superior to me, nobody can beat me" that last word was said with an evil voice
"It's a shame you didn't listen to their conversation Gaby" Felipe looks at Gaby
"Now that I remember I found something on Nico's desk" Gaby takes her backpack and takes out a notebook with green and blue stripes "I don't think there is anything interesting inside since Nico was taking notes during class"
With great desperation Felipe takes the notebook and begins to read it. There was nothing more than notes from past classes, some ink stains and white sheets, but on the last pages of the notebook there were some notes that were not from the class. Felipe couldn't help but form a malicious smile when he began to read in his mind the words that were written in that notebook
"Gaby ... you just answered Nigel's question" said Felipe, forming an evil smile on his beak
"It was your question!" clarified Nigel quite annoyed
Lunchtime was over and the next classes had to continue. Since they already had everything ready for the dance, Nico and Pedro were thinking what more things they could add for the party. The whole group was surprised that those birds were getting along better since their fight was very striking for everyone. But for Jewel and Eva the new friendship of the cardinal and the canary was not so interesting
"And papaya is his favorite fruit" Eva continued talking with Jewel about the new friendship he made with Rafael.
"Wow ... they do have a lot in common" answered Jewel impressed
"Yes and she adores children" that word was said by Eva with more emotion
"You know you should dance with him during this week's dance," Jewel proposed to her friend.
"I don't know, I'm not very good at dancing," replied the Toucan woman.
"Come on, I saw you dance with him during dance class." Jewel reminded Eva of the dance they shared in the last class.
"Jewel ... Do you think that boy likes me?" Eva asked with a little blush.
"Without a doubt" Jewel replied looking from afar at Rafael sitting with her blue feathered best friend.
"Thank you Jewel, you are the best friend in the world" Eva gives her faithful friend a big hug
"Yes, I am" Jewel replied in a low voice as she reciprocated her friend's hug while showing a malicious smile on her beak without being seen by Eva "and I will not allow you to date a loser" that word was said in her mind with a evil voice
Classes had ended and all the young people left school excited to go home and some anxious because in a few days it would be the homecoming dance at Blu Sky High School and it was the best opportunity to form new friendships or new love relationships.
