In this story Naruto will be a lot more intelligent than his cannon version and stronger also his appearance will also be different for instance his hair color will not be blonde but white because of a birth defect which made him born with white hair. Another change in his appearance is that Naruto's hairstyle will resemble kid Minato's hairstyle instead of his original hairstyle.
Chapter 1: Regrets
Konoha Forest - Late at night
Uzumaki Naruto right now was feeling regretful; his own sensei's life was just ended by a traitor.
Flash back: After Naruto had failed the graduation exam, his sensei Mizuki decided that it would be the perfect opportunity to trick Naruto into stealing the Forbidden Scroll so he could then eliminate Naruto and then bring the scroll to Orochimaru who had promised the Academy teacher power. After explaining to Naruto that in order to pass he would need to steal the scroll and learn at least one jutsu, Naruto decides to then steal the scroll by stealthily entering the Hokage monument and then grabbing the scroll with nobody noticing. Naruto then exits the monument seeing as how his attempt turned into a success, Mizuki then decides to further cause trouble for Naruto by informing the Sandaime, Hiruzen Sarutobi that Naruto has stolen the Forbidden scroll.
Hiruzen Sarutobi then orders a squad of anbu and Iruka Umino to then go find and capture Naruto. After a while Iruka ends up finding Naruto and in a strict voice Iruka then says "What are you doing here Naruto!" "Why do you have the Forbidden scroll?" Naruto then informed Iruka that if he learnt at least one jutsu from the scroll then he would pass. Iruka then asks "Who told you that", "Mizuki sensei told me", Iruka then screams "What!" suddenly both Naruto and Iruka hear something cutting through the air getting closer to them. Naruto is unable to react in time but Iruka pushes him out the way and then Naruto here's a sickening sound as a large shuriken is implanted into Iruka's back. Mizuki then steps out of the shadows and exclaims that it was unfortunate that he hit the wrong target. Iruka seeing this then says "Mizuki why are you doing this"? "It's because of how pathetic village is and if I learn every jutsu from this scroll I will be the most powerful shinobi that ever existed" and "I can finally kill this demon brat so why don't you step aside Iruka" "Mizuki I'll never step aside I'll engage you before you ever lay a hand on Naruto." "Have it your way then Iruka" Naruto do you know why are shunned from everyone in the village? "No Mizuki don't do say it" it's an S class secret. Naruto who's curious at this point doesn't say anything, It's because you're the jinchuriki of the kyuubi, "But that's impossible" I thought the 4rth hokage killed it, "Naruto run! I'll deal with Mizuki but Iruka your wound from that giant shuriken. It's ok I'll be fine just run, Naruto then did what he was told and ran away Mizuki then attempted to throw another giant shuriken but he couldn't as Iruka then pulled out a kunai and threw it at Mizuki who had to dodge.
Mizuki then pulled out a kunai of his own as he then engaged Iruka with both of their kunai's locked on to each other. Iruka then wen't for a horizontal slash which was blocked by Mizuki's kunai, Mizuki then started going onto the offensive overpowering Iruka with slashes and then kicking Iruka away, Mizuki then launches a huge shuriken but Iruka dodges the attack but he doesn't notice the ninja wire attached to the shuriken and so Mizuki launches it back this time it lands a blow that hit's Iruka's lung then Iruka collapses from the impact of the shuriken, Mizuki then encloses in for the kill but then asks Iruka to why he took that attack for Naruto. "I took the attack for Naruto because he's my student; he's my brother he's like me. When I was Naruto's age I always seeked for attention as well, Mizuki hearing enough decided to pull out a giant shuriken and prepared to decapitate Iruka. Naruto who was feeling emotional after hearing what Iruka said sneakily decided to pick up one of Mizuki's giant shuriken, and Mizuki who forgot about Naruto isn't expecting anything then suddenly Naruto aims the shuriken at Mizuki and releases it as it rips through the air enclosing on Mizuki, Mizuki is barely able to dodge the shuriken but then another Naruto appears and aims another shuriken at Mizuki but this time Mizuki isn't fast enough as the shuriken decapitates Mizuki, as in a moment a head and a body drop down to the floor with a thud as blood coats the forest ground red.
Naruto had aimed for Mizuki's throat and the shuriken ended up ripping Mizuki's head off, Naruto had devised a plan that had him create 2 clones one of the clones would use the transformation jutsu and turn into Mizuki's giant shuriken while the other clone would throw the transformed clone forcing Mizuki to dodge what he supposedly thought was one of his shuriken this would bring Mizuki closer to Naruto which allowed for Naruto to aim and decapitate Mizuki. Naruto would usually be not fond of killing but in this situation he had to kill to save his sensei, Naruto then hears a weak voice which happens to be the voice of a dying Iruka, Iruka then tells Naruto to come here as Iruka then wraps a bloodied hitai-ate around Naruto's forehead, "Naruto my time is done" "But I can take you to the Medics" "No Naruto we won't make it in time" just let me die, before I wake up in the afterlife and meet up with my parents promise me that you won't ever give up on your dream of being hokage, promise me that you'll train and study hard to be a great shinobi, Naruto nodded tearfully, and finally Naruto promise me that you will replace and burn your hideous jumpsuit as Iruka chuckled weakly then he coughed up an amount of blood that's equivalent to 1 gallon of water as his eye's finally closed.
End of Flash back: Naruto was now feeling regretful as the only person who really cared for him was now gone, he was now thinking that if he was just stronger then Iruka's life would have been saved. He was brainstorming a bunch of outcomes that could have happen if he was just stronger, as the anbu arrived they then readied their weapons thinking that Naruto had just betrayed the village untill a stern voice of the Sandaime said "drop your weapons" Naruto killed the traitor Mizuki and Iruka died from a Mortal wound inflicted by Mizuki's shuriken stated the Sandaime hokage. Hiruzen then said "I'm sorry that Iruka's life had to be wasted Naruto" his funeral will be held in two days he will be honored as a shinobi that died trying to protect village secrets from going into the wrong hands. Hiruzen then grabbed the scroll from Naruto's hands and then said "Naruto the strategy that you created that killed Mizuki was rather excellent I here by state that Uzumaki Naruto is officially now a Konoha genin. Remember a shinobi's most dangerous weapon is his or her's mind I heard what Iruka's parting words were before he died, I just want to say that I hope you don't let Iruka's sacrifice go in vain, because both Mizuki and Iruka are dead so the Academy will be delayed for two weeks. So this is a perfect opportunity for you to invest in training Naruto then nods signifying that agrees that he should train to get stronger.
