Kaon is just as he always imagined it. Cliffjumper thought as he was dragged by his two captors into the city. It was hard to not find a place decorated with spikes as it seemed they littered the whole place. There was orange light coming from the distance, probably a smelting pit, and to top it off it was raining. Perfect bad guy city.

The two Decepticons dragged Cliffjumper into the tall, central building of the city. There sat the Decepticons communications officer, Soundwave, monitoring hundreds of signals while also keeping an eye on the Kaon prison complex. (1)

"Sir, we need the signal from this Autobot traced, and quickly." The red Decepticon informs the communications officer. Soundwave turns from his monitors to look at the three.

"Bring him to the terminal." Soundwave says in his robotic voice (well, even more robotic than everyone else). The blue Decepticon drags Cliffjumper to one of Soundwave's computers where he plugs his communications into their own. Why was B-127 still transmitting?

The computer quickly deciphers where the signal if coming from, showing it is coming from a small, mostly blue, planet.

"Signal traced." Soundwave says.

"Dropkick and I will go there to find the Autobot. He will tell us where Optimus Prime is hiding." The red one says

"Proceed, Shatter." Soundwave agrees.

"Can I kill him first?" Dropkick asks, referring to Cliffjumper.

"Negative, he could still be of use." Soundwave says. Dropkick groans, but none the less complies.

"Very well. We shall head to the Destiny Islands and interrogate B-127." Shatter says before looking to Cliffjumper. "If he doesn't tell us where Optimus is, maybe his friend could... persuade him."

With that, the two leave Cliffjumper with Soundwave as they exit Kaon.

Kairi woke up bright and early. She rushed through her morning routine, ate breakfast and rushed out the door as fast as possible. To an outsider, it simply appeared she was still on her training schedule. In reality, Kairi didn't want to leave Bumblebee a moment longer. If he was the curious type, he could wander off and cause trouble, shattering the world order on Destiny Islands with no hope of repair.

She quickly made her way to the trees Bumblebee was hidden while also careful to make sure she wasn't being watched. after all, there were some curious souls on Islands she knew all to well from spending time with Sora and Riku.

Fortunately, Bumblebee was still there. As she approached, one of Bumblebees arms emerged from the back of the car to wave at her. The action reminded her of Sora. He would flip out once he found out she's made friends with a giant, transforming, robot.

"Good morning Bumblebee." Kairi greets. Bumblebee transforms. "Good thing you didn't run off. Who knows what would happen if someone else finds you." Bumblebee tilts his head in confusion.

"Well... they might find you... a little scary. People tend to be afraid of things they don't understand." Kairi explains to the bot. "Anyway, I have some books that might lead us to the world you originally came from. Then we could find someone to help you with your memory." She says, only to notice, she doesn't have said books with her. "Opps, I forgot them. Stay right here, I'll be right back!" Kairi exclaims before running off. Unfortunately, after she leaves Bumblebee slowly follows her out.

Kairi quickly and quietly rushes into her house and makes her way into her room. Now, where did she put those books.

"Kairi." She hears a voice behind her. She turns to find her mother standing at the door way. "Still on training schedule?" She asks.

"What?"

"You ran out of the house pretty early." She explains.

"Oh, yeah. Silly me." Kairi sheepishly says.

"Well, I've come to tell you I'll be going to a council meeting with your father. Once we're done, we'll all go out for dinner."

"That sounds lovely." Kairi says.

"See you later then." Her mother smiles before kissing Kairi on the forehead and leaving the room. She then turns to look out the window to see Bumblebee waving at her. Wait, what?

"Bumblebee!" Kairi quietly hisses. Bumblebee moves closer to hear her, producing a CLUNK every step.

"Kairi, did you hear something?" Her mother calls to her.

"Yeah! I wouldn't worry about it though. Probably not important." She calls back. She turns back to Bumblebee. "Bumblebee, I told you to stay put!" She quietly exclaims. "Its fine just, go back to the trees." She says. Bumblebee nods before slowly making his way back. Did he really have to leave at this speed? Soon Bumblebee is out of sight and Kairi could here the door, signalling her mother left, thankfully out the front door. Bumblebee left some pretty noticeable foot prints in her back yard.

Finding the books she was looking for, Kairi made her way outside. Making her way to the back of her house, Kairi summoned Destinys Embrace and cast an aero spell blowing dirt over the foot prints and covering them up. She dismisses her keyblade with a sigh of relief. That could have gone MUCH worse. All it would have taken is someone to glance in the wrong direction. Kairi them rushes back into the trees.

"Okay. I have them." Kairi says as she approaches, Bumblebee has his spirits lifted already. "Before we look, do you remeber anything that might help us? Anything at all?" Bumblebee takes a moment to think before looking downcast. "It can be something small. A colour, a feeling... anything like that." Kairi explains. Bumblebees expression does not change. "You really don't remember anything? Even your family?"

Bumblebee tilts his head in confusion. "You know, Mother, father, siblings, grandparents. Anyone like that." Kairi explains. Would he even have parents? Wouldn't they be more like creators? "Who ever created you counts as the first two." She clarifies. The co fused expression is gone and back is the sadness.

Kairi thinks for a moment before getting an idea no matter how absurd it is. In a bunch of products she has, there is always a company name and a manufacture date or something like that molded unto one of the parts. (2) Maybe Bumblebee had something similar? It was worth a try.

"Hey, could you lie down, I'm going to check for anything on you that could tell us where you come from." She explains. Bumblebee lies down and Kairi check everywhere she can see for the smallest sign of any information. Maybe even the name of that symbol Bumblebee has. As she checked around his chest area, Kairi could make out some small damage inside. What could have happened to him? She was no expert, but the damage didn't look to severe. Still, best to get a good look.

Kairi took out a small flashlight she kept with her at all times and shined it at the damaged spot. It looked like something had gotten stuck in there. Or it was always there to begin with, she didn't know much about machines. Either way, she decided to try to get it out. If it came out, it wasn't mean't to be there, if not then its best to leave it alone.

She reached her hand inside of Bumblebee (that sounded wrong) and as soon as her touched the object, it shot out a beam of light prompting Kairi to jerk her hand back. The light slowly amassed into a hologram of sorts. It slowly built up the image of another robot, only this one seemed be much larger than Bumblebee. He had blue legs with two sets of tires on his calves, a red chest with two black squares on it, red blocky arms, and finally, his head was mostly blue and spiky. His eyes were not as large as Bumblebees and he was also missing a mouth, though the area was more square as opposed to Bumblebees more rounded face.

A clue? Kairi thought as she stared at the image. She held down her excitement as she continued to stare, that is, until the hologram spoke.

(1): Think of how Kaon is in War For Cybertron (the videogame).

(2): Most Transformers have this. I know the G1 figures have this. Is it weird that I know this?
