Soon after she and Bumblebee had their moment, Kairi had to leave him again to have dinner with her parents. It was a nice change of pace from all the sadness she experienced earlier. After that was done, Kairi went out to Bumblebee again.
It didn't feel right keeping him grounded to that one area, so she decided to show him around the islands. It would be later, so there wouldn't be many people still out and about, and it would be darker, providing them some cover so as to not be seen.
She shown him all the important places of the main island, the residential district, the commercial district, the radio station, the school, the docks to name a few. She then suggested she show him the play island.
They immediately ran into the problem of getting Bumblebee TO the island. he tried to swim but just ended up sinking to the bottom. He then headed to the islands by walking at the oceans floor, followed by Kairi on a boat. She found the situation and solution pretty funny.
As soon as they both made it to the island, Kairi started the tour.
"This here is the paopu tree. The star shaped fruit growing from the tree is paopu fruit." She explained, while simultaneously fighting down a growing sadness. After all, this was where she spent her last moments with Sora. Bumblebee looked all around the tree and the fruit it grew while being careful not to disturb anything. Eventually, he couldn't resist and started touching one of the fruit hanging off of it. It snapped off and fell to the ground, prompting Bumblebee to quickly pick it and attempt to put it back on with no success.
Kairi found herself giggling as Bumblebee continuously attempted to return the fruit to the tree.
"Its okay, Bumblebee. It'll grow back." She explained through her laughter. Bumblebee looked to her before sheepishly laying the fruit back down into the sand. As he does so, Kairi notices something in the distance. "Hey whats that?" She asks, pointing behind the bot.
He turns around to look as the object got closer. To Kairi, it looked like a jet of some kind. There weren't any jets of any kind on Destiny Islands so...
"Could that be one of your friends?" She asks him.
The jet transforms into a robot almost twice the size of Bumblebee, with red highlights among his mainly white body, this robot was an exact match for the spiky robots in Bumblebees memory.
"Bumblebee get-!" It was too late. The robot ramed into Bumblebee, smashing him into the rock behind them. Kairi was literally blown away by the speed of the robot when he wizzed past.
"You thought you could get away from me!" He exclaimed as he held Bumblebee, who desperately tried to wriggle free.
Kairi, who had recovered, quickly cast a firaga at the bots head before throwing her keyblade like a buzzsaw at the same target area. The fireaga hits, prompting the bot to turn his attention in the direction of the attack just in time for his face to meet with Destiny's Embrace. Kairi warped over to her keyblade to deliver a finishing strike, stunning the jet bot and causing him to drop Bumblebee. He quickly recovers and punches Kairi away, but she throws up a shield, absorbing the impact.
"Insect." The jet bot says in an angered tone.
"I'm not the kind you can just swat." Kairi shoots back.
"Your bare minimum intelligence won't help you against me." He exclaims. Probably didn't know she could talk.
"Who are you." Kairi angrily replies.
"Ramjet." he responds. (1) "I'm only telling this so you can remember who killed you." Ramjets arm then converts into a gun of some kind, which he quickly aims at Kairi. She roles out of the way of his firing while sending a few blizzaga's his way, hitting his gun and chest, freezing them. She the leaps towards Ramjet, striking him a few times before using her seven wishes move. At the end of the maneuver, Ramjet punches her away, this time she is unable to throw up a shield in time, and feels the full force of the assault.
'That did a lot more damage then expected.' Kairi thinks as she recovers. She casts curaga on herself to be sure, before getting ready for another attack. Two missiles come out of Ramjet's arms. He takes aim and fires both of them. As Kairi dashes away from the missiles, she notices they have slight homing ability's, much like her firaga. After the missiles miss their target, Kairi get closer to uppercut him, putting her face to face with Ramjet's head.
Figuring he might have the same weakness as a darkside, Kairi hacks and slashes at his head. While she is doing this, Ramjet converts his other hand into a spike. As Kairi is attacking him, she notices him move for another attack, which she dodges by jumping over it at the last minute. Seeing the spike as his fist Kairi puts some distance between the two by casting a powerful areoaga spell.
'Gotta be careful of that. A second too late and I would have been impaled.' Kairi thinks. Ramjet returns his gun to Kairi's face.
"Local life-form. For assisting a member of the autobot resistance, you are sentenced to death." He says, almost calmly.
"Sorry, I don't recognize your judgement." Kairi says before using her "heart of a princess" move to summon multiple orbs of light to rain down on the Decepticon, kicking up a lot of just as they hit him.
"Autobot?" Kairi wonders aloud. Was that the name of the symbol Bumblebee had? It must be his faction. As the dust clears, Ramjet is still standing, albeit, damaged.
"Your puny attacks won't kill me." Ramjet declares.
"Your hurt, so I wouldn't count on it." Kairi exclaims. Ramjet takes aim with his missiles again, only for Bumblebee to jump onto his arm.
"There is no saving her!" Ramjet exclaims as he throws Bumblebee off. He takes aim again, this time only one missile on his wrist. Kairi throws up her shield just in time to block the missiles. However it does significant damage.
'I don't think my shield can take one more attack like that.' Kairi thinks. Then, Bumblebee swoops in again, this time imbedding a missile he stole into Ramjets chest.
"Stop resisting!" Ramjet yells as he kicks the Autobot away. Sensing the opportunity, Kairi casts a single firaga at the missile. The resulting explosion engulfs the entire play island in smoke. Kairi quickly uses areoaga again to blow it all away to reveal a mess of flaming parts.
"All of Destiny Islands probably heard that." Kairi sighs. She turns to look at the horizon again... only to see another jet, accompanied by a helicopter heading their way. Bumblebee looks on in worry as Kairi falls to her hands and knees in exhaustion. 'I can't fight one of them again, never mind two of them.' She thinks. 'And the people of the Islands are bound to see whats going on. She raises her head again to look at the two aerial vehicles headed right for them.
"What do we do?" Kairi asks, more to herself.
