Chapter 20 The Wedding
Korra moaned as she slowly woke up from her bed before turning to grab something. Only to find her bed completely empty making her open her eyes seeing she was alone before she saw a note on the stand before reading it.
'Sorry I couldn't stay but it's bad luck to see the bride before the big day. Love you.' Korra read making her smile at the big event for tomorrow.
Tomorrow she and Sean would finally be married.
And with most of Sean's most dangerous enemies dead she doubted anyone could ruin it since Ares was not going to be allowed there for obvious reason.
The only thing she had to ensure was making sure Turok kept his mouth shut. True he had toned down his jokes since the South pole but better safe than sorry.
Getting up from her bed looking at her bare body that only had her engagement necklace she smiled holding it.
"I think Bolin was right. This is going to be the biggest event of the year." Korra said before heading to the shower since her parents and Katara would be arriving later.
Meanwhile
"Oh I'm so proud." Hera said kissing Sean's forehead making him laugh.
"Are you sure I can't give you a bachelor party?" Aphrodite asked Sean with a seductive grin making his eyes twitch.
"Your lucky I'm even letting you go. I'm still pissed for that stunt you pulled on Turok when he turned 13." Sean said making her giggle.
"There were no laws about proper age back then." Aphrodite said before yelping as he grabbed her by the neck.
"Aphrodite, I'm warning you. DO...NOT...FUCK THIS UP." Sean said glaring at her.
"Oh calm down. Like I'm gonna ruin your big day tomorrow." Aphrodite said waving off his threats.
"It would not surprise me if you did unintentionally." Sean said making her pout before leaving.
"I'll make certain she doesn't do anything." Hera said.
Sean sighed rubbing his head.
"She's still a handful." Hermes said appearing next to him.
"How father puts up with her is beyond me. Then again I'll take her over Ares any day when it comes to annoyances." Sean said making him chuckle.
"Very true." Hermes said making Sean sigh before walking away.
Entering his room he found it as he left it 14 years ago before making him smile.
"Nothing really changed while you were gone." Athena said appearing in the doorway.
"I'll bet. I almost miss this place after being gone for 14 years. But I'm more at peace in the four nations than any other land." Sean said making her smile.
"You mean so long as you have her." Athena said making him chuckle.
"I guess love truly can heal any wound." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Korra smiled as she hugged her parents.
"I'm so glad your all here." Korra said making them laugh.
"Oh we wouldn't miss this for the world." Senna said.
"We're both real proud of you Korra." Tonraq said making her smile.
Thats when the girls ran down.
"Korra! When are we leaving?" Jinora asked excited.
"For what? The Wedding's not till tomorrow." Korra said confused.
"Then where's Sean?" Ikki asked.
"It's always been bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding." Tonraq said.
"Oooh." Both said making them laugh.
"Speaking of which where did he go?" Katara asked curious.
"I...Don't know actually." Korra said before Julia walked in.
"Oh he's on Olympus right now." Julia said shocking her.
"What!" Korra yelled.
"Relax. Ares isn't allowed to go anywhere near him. Last time he thought he could get lucky when he was wounded. Even he's not dumb enough to attack him when he's at full strength." Julia said making her sigh in relief.
"I'm sure he'll be fine." Katara said reassuring her.
"So where are Reznov and Turok?" Korra asked.
"Reznov I can only assume is getting wasted in Asgard and Turok...I pray is not making some joke." Julia said making her sigh.
"I swear he better not." Korra said remembering the last stand up act in the South.
Next day
Sean sighed as he adjusted his armor.
"Nervous?" Deimos asked approaching him making Sean laugh before hugging his brother.
"I've faced far worse. Good to see you again Brother." Sean said.
"I wouldn't miss this. If anything I can easily tell Korra is clearly just as nervous as well." Deimos said making Sean chuckle.
They could face monsters, Demons and evil gods together but the biggest moment of their lives and both of them were slightly nervous.
Korra smiled at herself as she was in her mother's wedding dress as the vail was ready to be put down.
"Honey you look beautiful." Senna said.
"Thanks mom...I'm just...A little..." Korra struggled to say.
"Nervous?" Senna asked making her nod which caused her mother to smile. "I felt the same way when I married your father. Of course neither of us did what you two do on a weekly basis." Senna said making Korra giggle. "You know. When Zeus showed up telling us Sean was going to be protecting you. He told us the Truth about his past. Said only you could heal the wounds." Senna said surprising her.
"He said that?" Korra asked making her nod.
"Sometimes love can heal even the most broken souls. You two are living proof of that." Senna said making Korra smile.
Soon everyone was in the church.
Sean of course being at the alter smiled as Korra being escorted to him by her father while the girls led.
"At least the two aren't doing anything stupid." Reznov said making him roll his eyes before Korra was given to Sean who held her hands.
"Does anyone have just cause why these two should not be married? Speak now, or forever hold your peace." The Priest said.
"I do."
Everyone was shocked someone spoke before approaching the two.
"What the?" Sean tried to say before narrowing his eyes on the one who spoke. Unalaq.
"These two should not be allowed to marry." Unalaq said.
"Unalaq!" Tonraq said glaring at him.
"This is my uncle? Now I see why you didn't want me to meet him." Korra said to Sean who nods.
"Tonraq you are offering your daughter the Avatar to a demon. The Demon of Sparta." Unalaq said.
"Do NOT call me that." Sean said threateningly before Korra held him.
"Easy Sean calm down." Korra said keeping him calm.
"I am not that person anymore. Ask anyone in this room. I no longer serve Ares. Especially now that my oath is broken." Sean said.
"You cannot break a blood oath with a god. The Furies..." Unalaq tried to say.
"Are dead. By my hands." Sean said surprising him. "They came after me last month before today. With their deaths I am free from Ares control." Sean said.
"Only proving my point. People like you don't change. Avatar Korra you must end this marriage at once." Unalaq said making her frown.
"Uh let me think. No. I've known Sean my whole life for 14 years. He doesn't act like a demon. Your using his past against him. People change. Get out." Korra said.
"This marriage needs to end now." Unalaq said before Sean's blades were at his neck shocking him.
"Leave...And do not come back. This is your final warning." Sean said making him frown.
"And what do you wish Avatar?" Unalaq asked.
"The same." Korra said glaring at him.
Unalaq was about to say more when Zeus stood over him.
"I believe you have outstayed your welcome." Zeus said making him nervous.
"Fine. But make no mistake Avatar. You have married a monster." Unalaq said.
"Sometimes the world needs a monster." Sean said before Baldur threw him out.
Sean shook his head before walking back to Korra.
"You ok?" Korra asked.
"Yeah. Can't believe your related to him at times." Sean said before taking her hands again making her smile before the Priest cleared his throat to resume where he left off when Unalaq tried to stop them.
"Do you Sean Ashburn Kruger Son of Zeus Take Avatar Korra to be your Wife?" The Priest asked.
"I do." Sean said.
"And do you Avatar Korra take Sean Ashburn Kruger Son of Zeus to be your husband?" The Priest asked making her smile.
"I do." Korra said.
"Then by the power given to me I now pronounce you husband and wife." The Priest said as Sean lifted up the vail before they kissed making everyone cheer.
Later
After the were officially married they left the church. And of course Korra threw her flowers in the air which landed in Asami's hands making her and Mako blush.
Now they were all at the reception at Asami's mansion.
"Hehehe." Sean chuckled seeing all this.
"I still can't believe we're actually married now." Korra said smiling at her husband.
"Nor can I. But I'm glad things worked out the way they did." Sean said kissing her making her kiss back before smiling at him.
"Hey Bro!" Turok yelled gaining their attention before dragging some cart inside that had a sheet over it.
"Oh no." Sean said alarmed.
"Turok what are you up to?" Korra asked worried.
"Don't worry it has nothing to do with my jokes. Call it...A present if you will." Turok said.
"What are you doing?" Sean asked concerned.
"Call it payback!" Turok said taking the sheet off before he and Korra widened their eyes before snickering seeing Aphrodite and Loki hanging upside down chained up as they tried to yell but they were gagged.
"WHAT!" Sean laughed. "What the hell is this?" Sean asked before a chain wrapped around their feet before having them hang upside down in the center of the room.
"Like I said payback. Payback for Aphrodite trying to sleep with us when we weren't ready and Loki for making me a comedian." Turok said before placing a sign on both of them.
"Whats it say?" Reznov asked before Julia got a better look.
"It says beat us we have candy inside." Julia said making everyone laugh.
"Uh oh." Sean said grinning.
"Oh no." Korra said knowing where this is going and was going to enjoy it.
"Candy!" Ikki asked before Turok handed the kids bats.
"Enjoy!" Turok yelled as they charged at them as they spat out the gags.
"AHHHH!" They yelled as they kids started beating them.
"AHAHAHAHA!" Sean and everyone else burst out laughing. "Oh Little brother. You are completely forgiven for all the crap you ever did for 100 years." Sean said with his wife laughing her ass off.
"Thank you." Turok said taking a bow.
"TUROK! I'm gonna kill you for this!" Loki yelled.
"I'll make sure no one ever sleeps with you!" Aphrodite yelled.
"Oh you mean like how you sleep with a hundred men and women a day each?" Turok teased making everyone minus the kids burst out laughing. "Consider this payback for sending a whore on me when I was 13." Turok said grinning.
"What did I do?" Loki asked.
"Corrupted his mind is what you did." Sean said still laughing.
After that little stunt the two went to lick their wounds.
"What in the hell gave you that idea?" Sean asked.
"Oh I have been planning that since I learned you two were getting married. Call it my gift." Turok said making them laugh.
"And a greatly appreciated one at that." Korra said.
"I like to say something." Reznov said gaining everyone's attention.
"Uh oh." Sean said alarmed making Korra giggle.
"I have known Kruger for 250 years since he left Greece to find some peace." Reznov started.
"You gonna tell people you tried to kill me and Spyro?" Sean asked making people laugh.
"Excluding that." Reznov said making people laugh harder. "He's helped changed me and all of Asgard minus my idiot brothers Magni and Modi who I pray are in Hel." Reznov said making Sean and Korra laugh along with most in the room. "And helped my uncle feel again from the curse my evil grandmother gave him so long ago who I also hope is in Hel." Reznov said making the people of Asgard laugh.
"So do we." Korra said making Sean chuckle holding her close.
"And now here he is with someone who's helped heal the wounds of his darker past." Reznov said making Korra smile at the praise. "And all it took was 300 long ass years." Reznov said making people laugh.
"At least I proposed to her quickly unlike your dumbass!" Sean said making people laugh. "Seriously you've been together for 200 years when are you gonna propose?" Sean asked making him stutter while Julia grinned.
"Shut up. At least we aren't 300 year old virgins." Reznov said before his and Julia's eyes widened realizing his screw up. "Uh oh." Reznov said feeling her father standing over him.
"Nice going." Sean laughed with his wife.
"Now what does that mean exactly?" Horus asked.
"Uh...Nothing...Just running my mouth." Reznov said.
"Hmm. Well...Just to be on the safe side. I'm gonna cut it off." Horus said making Reznov bolt.
"YIKES!" Reznov yelled hiding behind his girlfriend.
"Don't bring me into this you idiot!" Julia yelled making people laugh.
"Ok enough." Sean said stopping them.
"In all seriousness everyone is glad to see you with someone for a change." Reznov said making said married couple smile. "Anyone objects to this marriage?" Reznov asked not expecting anyone to say anything.
"I do!"
"Oh come on!" Sean said annoyed before facing someone he was surprised to see. "Perseus?" Sean asked seeing his half brother who glared at him.
"Oh no not you again." Korra said glaring at him.
"Again? You've met him before?" Asami asked.
"Yeah 13 years ago. Just showed up out of nowhere claiming he could train me better than Sean ever could. When I said no he tried to smack me in the face." Korra said shocking everyone.
"Of course I didn't let that happen. What do you want?" Sean asked.
"Simple...Her." Perseus said pointing at Korra shocking them and everyone else.
"Excuse me?" Korra asked in shock.
"If I cannot have my love return from the grasp of Hades then I will take yours. It's only fitting since you killed her." Perseus said.
"Not this again. I had nothing to do with Andromeda's death and you know it. Besides it was more obsessive love than real like ours." Sean said.
"It matters not. I will take her from your cold dead corpse." Perseus said making him sigh.
"Look pal I..." Korra tried to say.
"A woman should not speak unless told to." Perseus said shocking and offending her along with every other woman while Sean rubbed his face.
"Mother..." Sean trailed off.
"Did he just!" Korra asked pissed off.
"Now you see exactly why I have more issues with him than I did with Hercules. Fine. You wanna fight we'll fight. But it's hardly going to be fair for you. I get more of a challenge fighting Amon's henchmen than you." Sean said.
"This is hardly the place to do this." Zeus said before using his powers to transport the two while the others watched through some sphere.
The two appeared in some bath house.
"This...This is the island of creation. Home of the Sisters of fate." Perseus said.
"Oh boy." Sean said knowing what was coming next.
"Are you watching me now, Sisters? Give me a sign! Am I, the great Perseus, to kill this fallen Demon to receive an audience with you? Will that allow me to bring my love back from the grasp of Hades himself?" Perseus questioned making everyone a little disturbed by that outburst.
"What the hell is wrong with him?" Korra asked.
"Everything. The guy went nuts after his love obsession was killed by the Kraken years ago." Reznov said having heard the stories. (Just so no one gets confused yes this is the God of War Perseus who yes looks like his 1981 Clash of Titans appearance I noticed as well when I first played it. No way in hell was I making the 2010 version look like an ass)
Sean rolled his eyes before Perseus glared at him.
"If not, then at least I can bathe in the glory of being the one who brought down the mighty Kruger. The Slayer of Gods and monsters across the world. Although I hardly think a harpy's fool such as yourself deserves such praise." Perseus said before putting on some helmet before vanishing.
"Oh not this shit again." Sean said seeing his foot steps in the water. "You know it's pointless to use that when I can clearly see where your going." Sean said as he tried to sneak on him only for Sean to punch him in the wall hard making him groan in pain. (Sad thing is he's the easiest boss in God of war 2)
Sean shook his head in disappointment.
"Once I kill you I will be Zeus's favorite son and Ares will train me." Perseus said making him scoff.
"Your already a disappointment in both their eyes. And you already tried to prove your worth to Ares by killing your own mother to prove you could do what I could not willingly." Sean said shocking everyone.
"Yeah theres that too." Reznov said.
Perseus roared as he tried to slash him but Sean dodged before grabbing his head and took off the helmet before crushing it with his bare hand before kicking him back.
"Just give up. Your no match for me. Hercules gave me more of a challenge." Sean said.
"Be silent!" Perseus roared trying to slash him but Sean dodged each strike with ease.
Sighing with annoyance Sean grabbed his sword before crushing it with ease.
"NO!" Perseus roared before using his shield to attack him but Sean dodged with ease.
Having enough of this nonsense Sean grabbed his shield before breaking it in half and punched him into the wall hard making him cough up blood.
"You are such a disappointment. I'm done." Sean said walking away.
However Perseus suddenly found himself in a void.
"Do you desire ultimate power?" Ares voice was heard.
"Yes. To destroy the Demon and prove myself!" Perseus yelled.
"Then you shall have it." Ares said.
As Sean walked away he felt a familiar chill before turning to face Perseus seeing him engulfed in familiar shrouds of darkness.
"Ares! Stay out of this!" Sean yelled before Perseus roared with laughter.
"NOW DIE!" Perseus roared charging at him before Sean crashed through a wall into the next room.
"Great." Sean said annoyed before Perseus rushed to him but Sean dodged before using his blades to slash him making him roar in pain.
"WHY WON'T YOU DIE!" Perseus roared before Sean summoned the Blade of Artemis before slashing him a few times making him roar in pain.
"Even with power like this your still no match for me." Sean said before summoning the Trident and the water from the other room attacked Perseus stabbing him making him roar in pain before the shrouds left him.
"Disappointing. You would use a dark power like that for fame and glory. I've moved beyond such petty things." Sean said walking away.
"Says the man who slaughtered his beloved sister and entire family." Perseus said making him pause.
"Oh no." Korra said knowing he just hit a nerve as Sean glared at him before dashing at him and slammed his face into a mirror before wrapping a chain around him and slammed him into the walls hard making him cough up blood.
"I don't see why your fighting so hard for her." Perseus said making him frown.
"What does that mean? Why would I not fight for her at all?" Sean asked wondering what he was doing.
"In a few decades she will grow old and die while you will remain as you are...Untouched by time." Perseus said shocking Korra making her realize this was true.
Sean however burst out laughing confusing her.
"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING ABOUT!" Perseus yelled.
"You seriously think I didn't fix that?" Sean laughed. "My god your stupid. I made my adopted brother immortal and I did the same for her when she turned 18 months ago." Sean said shocking her before she smiled. "I lost one family by my owns hands unintentionally. I have no intentions of losing my new one by the hands of time." Sean said making him growl.
"I pray Ares kills them all the same way he did your last one." Perseus said making him glare.
"At least I have a family who cares about me." Sean said before taking out the Blade of Artemis making his eyes widen as he went for a swing.
"AHHHH!" Perseus yelled before his blood was splattered.
Sighing Sean walked through a portal before appearing back in the mansion where people cheered before he walked to Korra who smirked.
"So I'm your immortal wife?" Korra asked amused.
"Oh like I'm gonna let you die from old age." Sean said making her giggle before kissing him.
Soon enough everything was back to normal.
"So...Whats issues did you have with Perseus that led to that?" Asami asked.
"Ugh. Better question what issues didn't I have? He was more into fame and glory and felt he was the better son. I was more into honor and justice after the temple incident and cared for none of that and just did the job. When Andromeda was killed by the Kraken he went into a rage since I had killed Medusa before he could." Sean said.
"Who's Medusa?" Mako asked.
"He's talking about the Gorgon queen." Korra said remembering the stories he told her as a child growing up.
"Her gaze could turn anyone to stone. She was terrorizing villages close to her lair so I was sent to put her down. A few years later Perseus went looking for her hoping to use her head to kill the kraken and save Andromeda. He didn't know till later I had already killed her. By the time he learned this it was too late. She had been killed by the Kraken to save her people." Sean said.
"But it wasn't your fault. No one knew." Bolin said.
"No everyone did know he just didn't listen since he never bothered to learn about other people's legends that didn't involve him at the time. If he did he could have gone after another Gorgon." Sean said annoyed.
"Oh." Asami said seeing the issue.
"And thats when he confronted you about it." Korra said.
"Exactly. Tried to kill me in rage but you can guess how that went. Always was more bark than bite." Sean said making them laugh before Korra saw something.
"Well what do you know." Korra said grinning making Sean look seeing Jinora and Turok talking together making him chuckle.
"Maybe she can get that dumb comedian out of him and mature him out a bit." Sean said.
"You know...I now know how you, Reznov and Julia met. But how did you meet him?" Korra asked making him frown.
"Um...I'll tell you after today. Lets not drag anything depressing into this." Sean said.
"All right but you are gonna tell me...Right?" Korra asked grinning making him smile.
"I've told you everything so far haven't I?" Sean asked making her grin.
"How bout the story of the trolls..." Reznov tried to say.
"No." Sean said annoyed making him laugh.
Later
After the reception was finally over Sean and Korra were finally home.
"Ugh." Korra sighed as she got out of her dress before she put on a black see through nightgown making her grin before she looked for something.
"Where the hell did I..." Korra tried to say.
"Looking for this?" Sean asked holding the bottle from his family's treasure vault with a grin making her giggle before walking to him.
"I figured we could drink this on a special occasion." Korra said before kissing him. "So what is it?" Korra asked as they made it to the bedroom.
"This is a wine one of my family ancestors made one thousand years ago." Sean said pulling out two glasses for them.
"Wait. Like actually a thousand year wine?" Korra asked grinning.
"Mmhmm. Kept it in that room so no one would touch it. The old saying goes wine tastes better with age." Sean said pouring it out showing it to be red making Korra smile before they took the glasses before sipping it all down making Korra giggle from the rich taste. "Sorry this wedding didn't exactly go as planned with your uncle and my dumb half brother..." Sean tried to say before she kissed him to silence him.
"It was perfect regardless. All I need is you." Korra said holding his face making him smile before kissing her back. "I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too...Korra Kruger." Sean said making her giggle at the name since it worked perfectly. (Honestly the name Kruger just fits into almost every name when you think about it hence why I picked it out)
Heading to bed she pushed him down making him laughed before she pulled down her nightgown as he removed his own clothes before she sat on top of him.
"No foreplay this time." Korra said lining herself up before thrusting down making her moan in bliss. "Oooh. A month of none of this is really paying off." Korra said before she started to bounce on him.
Sean grinned as he took hold of her hips before thrusting upwards into her making her moan. Leaning up he latched onto her breasts making her whimper as she held his head.
"Mmm." Korra moaned enjoying every second of this as she thrusted down on him.
She however yelped when he changed positions to her front while he held her legs up and thrusted into her with quick thrusts making her groan as she held the sheets tightly.
"Oh...Oh fuck!" Korra moaned as he thrusted into her quickly. Drool escaped Korra' mouth from receiving so much pleasure.
After a while suddenly she gasped feeling her climax approaching before she moaned loudly as she came before whimpering feeling him come inside her before lost what energy she had left in her body.
Grinning Sean pulled her up and kissed her making her moan before he pulled the sheets over them.
"I love you." Korra said half asleep.
"And I love you Korra." Sean said as sleep claimed both the newly wed Husband and Wife.
Authors Note: I'd say this chapter was just perfect. I kinds struggled with the first part though since I've never done this sort of thing and wanted to skip most of the speech when it comes to the more important moment.
