Chapter 23 Civil war
Korra was not happy. First her uncle put problems on her marriage and tried to turn her against her father by revealing his past. Now his troops arrived and acted like they owned the place making the people concerned, Angry and frustrated.
"I told you already we're done! Why are your troops here?" Korra asked.
"Now that you've opened the southern portal, we need to protect if from people who would do the spirits harm." Unalaq said.
"So you think that gives you the right to treat my people like trash?" Korra asked glaring at him.
"I'll make sure they understand they cannot act that way. I have one task for you." Unalaq said.
"NO. I said I'm done! I need to find my husband and repair the damage YOU caused!" Korra said.
"Please. Do this one last favor and I'll leave and never bother you two again." Unalaq said making her glare.
"What do you want?" Korra asked.
"There is another portal in the North. Once you open it, spirits wan man will be able to move freely between the north and the South in a matter of seconds." Unalaq said.
"But the Solstice is over. How am I going to open it?" Korra asked.
"The Spiritual energy is much stronger in the north. And now that you've opened the Southern portal, your energy is stronger as well." Unalaq said before she glared at him.
"Fine. But after that I never want to see you again. And your troops will leave. Understand!" Korra said.
"I understand." Unalaq said as she left.
Meanwhile
Tenzin and his wife along with his one year old son were outside the temple with Kya feeding the animals while Turok in the form of a wolf slept.
"Ahh, I haven't felt this at peace since..." Tenzin tried to say.
"Wahoo!" Bumi yelled jumping out in a robe with his underwear on making Turok snicker as he woke up.
"And it's over." Tenzin said.
"Good morning universe!" Bumi yelled with his robe opened making Kya cover her eyes.
"Bumi, Please. Cover yourself!" Kya yelled mortified.
"Well, Lookee here. Vacation Tenzin has finally decided to join us...Who's the weird wolf?" Bumi asked before Turok turned human. "Oh Keep forgetting you can do that." Bumi said.
"You never did say where your from." Tenzin said.
"The most english name my family called our land was Turtle island. My family could turn into every animal on the planet at will. It was part of our family bloodline during ancient times." Turok said. "Anyway I'm enjoying this place." Turok said.
"And I've really enjoyed having you two around. Reminds me of all those great vacations we took as kids with dad." Tenzin said.
"Uh, I think your memory is a little foggy. Bumi and I weren't on those great vacations." Kya said. (This is one of those small things I hate about Aang. He unintentionally played favorites)
"No, that can't be right." Tenzin said.
"Oh no it is. I asked Katara about your dad and even she admitted he unintentionally played favorites but didn't realize it until you were all older." Turok said making him frown.
"Well, I'm sorry about that I never realized." Tenzin said.
"Eh...Water under the bridge." Bumi said.
Thats when Jinora and Meelo arrived.
"Having fun you two?" Turok asked.
"Of course." Jinora said.
"Wait...Wheres Ikki?" Pemma asked concerned.
"Who?" Jinora asked making her frown.
"Were you two teasing her again?" Turok asked.
"No!...Yes." Jinora said looking down.
"She ran away." Meelo said making Pemma growl.
"Honestly I don't know why you three can't get along!" Pemma scolded them.
"Oh relax. Siblings always fight and tease. Just look at these three." Turok said thumbing at Tenzin and his siblings.
"Ok thats true." Kya said.
"Lets go." Turok said turning into a wolf before running off.
Meanwhile
A group of Norther Water tribe soldiers walked through the town as everyone else glared at them making them glare back.
Suddenly however Snowballs hit them.
"Who threw those?" The Leader asked before looking up seeing a group of children laughing before he waterbent them down making them scream.
"You hoodlums think you're tough, Huh?" One asked.
"Pick on a waterbender your own size." One of the Southerners said with others backing him up before they readied themselves.
Thats when Korra arrived on Naga.
"Stop!" Korra said.
"Tell these thugs to go back to the North. They're not welcome here anymore!"
"These southerners need to stay in line."
"Everyone, calm down. You're all part of the same tribe. Start acting like it." Korra said trying to cool things down.
"You're taking their side? We thought you were one of us." One of the Southerners said.
"I'm not taking anyone's side." Korra said before a snowball hit her. "Hey!" Korra said before seeing a little girl waterbending another snowball.
"Your the worst Avatar Ever." She said throwing it before Korra caught it and melted it.
"Enough!"
Everyone turned and Saw Sean walking to them.
"Sean." Korra said.
"Just ignore them. They aren't worth the trouble." Sean said as the Southerners walked away willingly before he glared at the soldiers. "As for you lot. Don't cause any trouble here...Or you'll have to deal with me. I don't think you wanna die early." Sean said glaring at them with cold eyes making them shiver before running off as Korra watched them.
"Sean...I..." Korra tried to say as she faced him but saw he was gone. "Sean?" Korra said looking for him but realized he just left making her hold her head down. "Lets go Naga." Korra said as she ran off.
As she Ran Korra had some tears running down her eyes.
Meanwhile
"Ikki? Ikki where are you?" Tenzin called out.
"Over here, Dad!" Bumi called out in a child like voice before appearing from the bushes laughing. "Just kidding. It's me." Bumi said making him sigh as Kya rushed to them.
"There's no sign of her anywhere." Kya said.
"Why would Ikki run off like this?" Tenzin asked.
"Her siblings teased her. It's a common reaction." Turok said.
"Ah, It's probably my fault." Tenzin said.
"Probably." Kya said.
"Excuse me?" Tenzin asked.
"I'm guessing you've been so busy with your DUTY to republic City that you forgot your duty to your kids." Kya said.
"Duty." Bumi said laughing.
"What are you. Five years old?" Kya asked.
"Kya, your right. I haven't been spending enough time with them. I wish I could be as good a father as dad was to us." Tenzin said.
"Hello." Turok said snapping his fingers in front of his face. "Your forgetting he played favorites with you over them by accident. Hell my family when they were alive would have scolded him for that." Turok said.
"What do you mean when they were alive? Turok how did your brother find you?" Kya asked concerned.
"It..." Turok tried to say but sighed. "It doesn't matter. It's ancient history." Turok said before turning into a wolf and sniffed the ground before running off to fine Ikki.
"He's hiding something." Bumi said.
Meanwhile
Senna was walking to Korra's small house before she heard her sobbing.
"Korra?" Senna asked before she walked in seeing her on her bed holding her knees.
"Not now mom. I just wanna be left alone." Korra said before she sat next to her and held her.
"Korra whats wrong?" Senna asked making her rub her eyes.
"I was trying to stop some dumb fight with no success. Sean finally came back and stopped it without any effort. Before I could even talk to him he just vanished. I screwed up my whole marriage!" Korra cried.
"Korra. Listen you didn't do anything. Unalaq did this to both of you. It's why Tonraq and I wanted you to stay away from him. He's always caused trouble since he doesn't show very much care for people and their lives only his own goals. Something Sean didn't want you to become a part of." Senna said.
"How am I gonna fix this? I did all this because I trusted him until he told me how he really viewed Sean for his past. He was right about Unalaq all along and I didn't listen and Now I might have started a war." Korra said.
"Korra. The problems between the two tribes started long before you were ever even born. This situation might be out of your control. Varrick's been plotting a rebellion against Unalaq." Senna said.
"What? Please tell me Dad's not part of this?" Korra begged.
"I don't know. But I don't want you getting caught in the middle of it." Senna said.
"If I don't stop this now things will only get worse." Korra said rushing to Naga before they left.
Arriving at where he uncle was she found his guards to be knocked out.
"Oh, no." Korra said before rushing to his room only to find some rebels outside his door before someone carried him out knocked out cold. "Put him down." Korra said.
"Turn around, Avatar, and pretend you didn't see anything." One of them said.
"Look I'm really not in the best mood here. I don't like him anymore than you do but this will only make things worse." Korra said.
"Things are already bad." One said before waterbending at her only for her necklace to glow before blasting them all back knocking them out cold.
"Sean." Korra said holding her necklace before approaching the leader and took off his mask. She sighed in relief it wasn't her father before Unalaq came to.
Soon his personal guards showed up.
"Find Varrick. I want him to rot in a cell." Unalaq said before his troops went to find him before he faced his niece. "You have my thanks for..."
"I didn't save you because I care. I only did it so things wouldn't get worse. You have ruined everything. My life was perfect until you showed up." Korra said leaving making him frown.
Meanwhile
Bumi grumbled as Kya used her waterbending to heal him.
"I told you those rocks were slippery. You're lucky you didn't kill yourself." Kya said annoyed.
"You done with the lecture, Mom?" Bumi asked annoyed.
"Oh, Grow up. You haven't changed one bit since we were kids. You're still trying to prove you can do everything a bender can. Well, you can't. Deal with it." Kya said.
"And your not our mother. You don't get to tell me what I can and can't do. So deal with that. UGH!" Bumi said as she dropped the water she used on his head.
"Good luck healing yourself with your non bending powers." Kya said as he shook off all the water.
"Hey, back me up here, Tenzin." Bumi said.
"Kya's right. You're the oldest of us, but you always acted like the youngest. I had to become the responsible one." Tenzin said.
"You think you're the responsible one? Where were you after Dad died and Mom was all alone? Because I was the only one who packed up and moved my whole life to be with her." Kya said ticked off by that remark.
"Sure, after years of flitting around the world, trying to find yourself. It was time for you to settle down somewhere. You two have no idea how it feels to have the future of an entire culture on your shoulders." Tenzin said.
"Oh, Boo-Hoo. Must've been real hard for you, flying around the world with dad. Riding Elephant-Koi all day." Bumi said.
"Oh so thats what this is about." Tenzin said before.
BONK!
SMACK!
BANG!
"OW!" All three yelled holding their heads.
"ENOUGH!" Turok yelled before a black sphere engulfed them while Turok was outside.
"Hey! Whats the big idea?" Bumi asked.
"You three seriously need to work out these fucking petty issues. I'll tell you one thing I would give anything to see my family again. You wanna know what happened a hundred years ago? My entire village was killed by monsters in a single night save for me." Turok said shocking them. "Sean found me the next morning beside my mother as she died begging him to protect me. My brother and I have issues sometimes but we still love each other and don't let Dumb shit get between us! You are gonna stay there until you sort this shit out while I look for Ikki." Turok said before turning into a wolf and ran off while the three siblings remained.
Meanwhile
Still early at night Korra arrived at her parents home only to see Sean next to a fire making her take a breath before she got off Naga and approached him.
"Sean?" Korra asked as he looked at her before back at the fire making her close her eyes before sitting across from him.
"You were right...Unalaq was exactly what you said he was." Korra said making him look up.
"I thought I could trust him but he showed me he doesn't care about anyone but his goals. He manipulated me and now I made things as they are on my own people." Korra said.
"I just..." Korra tried to say before Sean pulled her into a kiss making her eyes widen before holding him close as her eyes leaked her tears before pulling back and cried. "I'm so sorry." Korra cried.
"Shhh. It's ok." Sean said holding her close as she cried on his chest. "If anyone should apologize it's me. I shouldn't have left you with him like that." Sean said as she cried on his chest. "Listen to me." Sean said holding her face. "No matter what happens even in these events. I will always love you. No matter what. That is my promise Korra." Sean said making her cry harder as she buried her face in his chest.
"I love you." Korra cried out.
"I love you too." Sean said holding her.
Next morning
Senna walked into Korra's room hoping to cheer her up. When she did she could only smile seeing the two of them still dressed holding each other close.
Soon enough the two got up before walking outside seeing Senna and Tonraq.
"I'm assuming you two are ok now?" Senna asked making them smile as Sean held Korra close.
"Yeah...We're ok." Sean said as they sat down.
Thats when Unalaq walked in the house.
"The fuck are you doing here? I think you've caused enough damage." Sean said glaring at him before his troops walked in.
"Tonraq, Senna, you are under arrest and stand trial." Unalaq said.
"For what!" Sean yelled getting pissed off.
"For conspiring to assassinate me." Unalaq said shocking them.
"Bullshit! This is just another one of your ploys to control Korra. Leave now!" Sean said grabbing his blades.
"They are coming with me. One of the rebels cut a deal and told us they had meetings in this house." Unalaq said.
"Ok you had your chance." Sean said pulling his blades out.
"No. Lets not make this worse than it is." Tonraq said standing up with his wife.
"You cannot be fucking serious!" Sean said in disbelief.
"It's all right." Senna said making him growl before putting his blades on his back before glaring at Unalaq.
Soon the two were inside a truck.
"You just can't help yourself can you? Ruining everyones lives." Korra said glaring at her uncle as her husband held her.
"This isn't personal Korra. They held meetings with the Rebels in this house. That makes them suspicious." Unalaq said.
"How can you continue to do this to your family at every turn?" Korra asked.
"Because he only cares about himself. Like I told you." Sean said holding her close.
"Thats not true. I have no desire to put my own brother in jail. Rest assured, I've appointed Judge Hotah to oversee the trial. He is the fair and honorable man I know." Unalaq said.
"I very much doubt that." Sean said before they left.
"You were right. I never should have trusted him." Korra said.
"Never mind that now. We'll fix this." Sean said as they got on Naga and ran off.
Meanwhile
Asami and the others were in Varrick's office.
"Where's Varrick? We should've closed our deal an hour ago." Asami said.
"Maybe he died from his craziness." Reznov joked making Julia laugh.
"Would you relax? This place is great. And the best part about it? Eska doesn't know I'm here." Bolin said making Reznov and Julia snicker since the two started dating and she treated him like a slave.
"You have the worst taste. I hope the next girlfriend you have is actually worthy of dating anyone. Not even my people would date or fuck her." Reznov said.
And thats when she and her brother along with soldiers walked in making Bolin freak out.
"I wasn't hiding!" Bolin said quickly making them snicker.
"I'm not on the hunt for you. Currently." Eska said. (I'm sorry if I'm not using her a lot but she freaks me the fuck out!)
"We search for Varrick. Our father wishes for him to stand trial." Desna said. (And I hate him just as much!)
"What did he do?" Asami asked?
"He is a traitor to the Water Tribe, along with our Aunt and uncle." Eska said.
"Say what?" Reznov asked.
"What?" Asami asked.
"Korra's parents were arrested?" Julia asked.
"Yes. Your powers of deduction are impressive. Then again you are friends with a demon." Desna mocked before grunting as Reznov blasted him with lightning.
"OUT!" Reznov yelled as lightning bounced off him making the troops run out in fear.
"Very well. Boyfriend! Bow to me when I exit!" Eska ordered making him do that. "You are so cute when you grovel." Eska said as they left before Reznov growled and pulled him up hard.
"OW!" Bolin yelled in pain.
"WHAT is wrong with you! Be a man! Stand up for yourself you piece of earth bending shit!" Reznov yelled.
"I gotta be honest he's right. You need to stand up for yourself." Asami said.
"I tried to break up with her, but Mako gave me terrible advice. Thank you, Mako." Bolin said.
"Just end it you idiot! My step mother would be embarrassed I was friends with you." Reznov said thinking of Sif. (In the game Sif is Thor's wife)
"Bolin, you need to be honest with her. Tell her how you really feel." Asami said.
"Yes...Tell her she's a disgrace of a human being and a whore." Reznov said before Julia smacked him upside the head. "Ok I deserve that I guess." Reznov said.
"Honesty is for fools, kid!" Varrick said though muffled
"Varrick? Where are ya?" Reznov asked.
"Somewhere Unalaq will never find me." Varrick said before appearing out of the platypus bear. "Inside Ping-Ping!" Varrick said.
"Ok, I'm impressed. Cost is clear." Reznov said.
"No way, Mister. Not until I know it's. absolutely, 157% safe." Varrick said before a cup of tea appeared from inside. "Thank you, Zhu Li." Varrick said.
"Wait she's in there?" Julia asked surprised.
"Zhu Li never leaved my side." Varrick said drinking his tea only to spit it out in disgust. "PYUGH! You forgot the honey!" Varrick said annoyed.
"Sorry sir. There isn't any in here." Zhu Li said.
"No Honey? We're in a bear, for crying out loud!" Varrick said.
Later
Everyone was at the courthouse for the trial.
Sean of course held Korra close as she looked at her parents while Sean glared at Unalaq.
Soon Unalaq gave his testimony before Sean was called forward.
"Were you present for any of these meetings?" Hotah asked.
"No...I wasn't even in the South pole for a couple days since Unalaq...Caused some small problems between me and my wife for a time." Sean said.
"Where exactly were you?" Hotah asked.
"Asgard. I can bring anyone here from there to prove my story. But I know both Korra's parents had nothing to do with the attempt on Unalaq's life." Sean said.
"Thats all I need to hear." Hotah said making him frown before walking back to his wife.
"This is all my fault." Korra said looking down.
"Don't do that. The only one to blame is him." Sean said holding her close before she stepped forward.
"According to Unalaq's testimony, you attended a meeting where Varrick tried to incite a civil war. Is that true?" Hotah asked Korra.
"Yes." Korra said.
"And were these men present at that meeting?" Hotah asked.
Korra was about to answer when the sounds of people fighting outside were heard.
"What the hell?" Reznov asked as Sean walked forward before Korra noticed his hands shaking before she held them.
"Sean? Whats wrong?" Korra asked.
"I know this presence...I haven't felt it since..." Sean tried to say before someone on a large horse barged in and charged right at him before Sean pushed Korra out of the way as he took out a large hammed and swung him into the wall making him grunt before looking at his foe who looked more dead than alive as he laughed.
"At long last I will finally have my revenge. I have battled my way through the Guardians of Hades. Crawled my way out of the fires of torment to get my revenge on you. The very object of my desire to escape your Uncle's Realm. Kruger. The Demon of Sparta and servant of Ares. DO YOU REMEMBER THAT DAY SPARTAN!" Alrik roared.
"YOU!" Sean said glaring at him. "You should have stayed in my uncle's domain Alrik! I killed you once before! I can do it again! Only this time I'll do more than cut off your head! Every vile thing I ever did was because of you!" Sean yelled making him laugh.
"You did all that on your own free will to serve Ares. Only this time...He won't save you from me!" Alrik yelled before charging at him before Sean jumped on his horse before it crashed through the wall to outside before Korra and the others followed.
Sean roared before slashing the head off the horse before Alrik jumped off and landed before laughing.
"This time Spartan I will have your head!" Alrik said before his hammer started summoning dead souls.
Sean growled before charging at him and slashed him in the chest making him growl before he summoned his former warriors to attack him.
"I remember how my warriors nearly annihilated yours so easily! How you became a Spartan Captain in those days was beyond me since they had poor training!" Alrik laughed making Sean roar before slashing every single one of them in a fit of rage
Korra and the others rushed out seeing them fight before Alrik slammed him into a wall making him grunt before growling.
"I am going to make you suffer for what you did!" Sean yelled before summing thunder bolts and threw them at his undead warriors making him laugh.
"Kill as many as you want! I'll just keep bringing more!" Alrik said summoning more of his former warriors before Sean roared in rage as he summoned the leviathan axe before slashing through them in rage before throwing it at Alrik who grunted in pain before Sean jumped at him before stabbing him in the chest making him roar in pain before throwing him off and threw his axe at him which pierced his shoulder making Korra gasp before Sean pulled it out and growled at him.
Alrik summoned more warriors but then one appeared who was clearly a civilian. A fisherman. (All God of War fans know who this is)
"Huh?" Korra said confused.
"Uh?" Sean tried to say before he spotted him.
"NO! NOT YOU AGAIN!" The fisherman yelled.
"Huh?" Sean said confused before it clicked. "Oh now I remember this fucker! Son of a bitch abandoned his crew to a Hydra and got swallowed." Sean said. (First game)
"YOU DROPPED ME IN THERE AFTER TAKING MY KEY!"
"Oh yeah. You deserved it for trying to abandon your crew." Sean said before slashing his head off.
Alrik roared before using souls to get even bigger. (Now he's a better opponent than Perseus was in the second game 10 times over since he at least made it interesting)
"I'LL END YOU MYSELF!" Alrik roared slamming him into a wall before Water began to circle around him before Sean's Water God form took place.
"You failed the last time Alrik! YOU WILL FAIL AGAIN!" Sean roared before the snow around the area began to float before turning into water before turning to ice spears and flew at Alrik making him roar in pain as he fell down on a building.
Approaching his foe Alrik slammed his hammer at him but Sean caught it with ease.
"Everything I lost was because of you! You'll wish you stayed in Hades domain when I'm through with you!" Sean roared before lightning began to form in the skies before striking him making Alrik roar in agonizing pain before the ground split apart and the hands of the underworld grabbed him.
"NO! I'm not finished with you yet! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!" Alrik roared before grabbing him as they both fought.
"You have taken enough from me! NOW BE GONE!" Sean roared before slamming him down.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" Alrik roared as the ground closed.
Sighing Sean's water form began to leave him before falling to the ground out of breath before Korra rushed to him and helped him up.
"Are you okay?" Korra asked.
"No. I thought I would never see him again for all the pain he brought me. Every vile thing I ever did was because of him." Sean said before she held him close.
"It's gonna be ok." Korra said making him sigh before holding her.
After that stunt the trial resumed.
"Senna, Please step forward." Hotah said getting her to do so. "I have found you innocent. You are free to go." Hotah said as she was set free before walking to her daughter who hugged her. "On the charge of treason, The rest of you are found guilty." Hotah said shocking them. "The punishment for this crime is death." Hotah said shocking Korra and Senna while Tonraq lowered his head.
Hotah however yelled as Sean's blade nearly hit him.
"You best take that back if you wanna live." Sean said before Unalaq's troops were ready to attack him. "Really? You morons think you can stop me?" Sean questioned.
"My decision is final." Hotah said making him glare.
"Wait." Unalaq said approaching him. "I know I said I would respect whatever decision you made, but I must ask you to reconsider. Show these men and my brother Mercy." Unalaq said making him sigh.
"Very well. I'll change their punishment. Your lives will be spared. But you will live them out in prison." Hotah said making them sigh in relief while Sean frowned feeling something was up.
Later
Sean walking into Korra's home saw her comforting her mother making him frown seeing how torn up she was about this before heading back outside before getting on Naga.
"Lets go girl." Sean said before she took off.
Hotah was driving to the docks to get on the next ship out of the South when his car crashed into something making him yell before Sean tore the door off and pulled him out.
"What do you want Demon?" Hotah asked afraid.
"Do NOT call me that. It's not about what I want. It's what my wife and her mother want. And they want you to let Tonraq go." Sean said.
"I-I'm sorry, but theres nothing I can do. I was just following Unalaq's orders." Hotah said making Sean narrow his eyes.
"The fuck does that mean?" Sean asked.
"I've said too much." Hotah said before yelling as Sean grabbed him before hanging him outside Naga's mouth. "Unless you wanna be Naga's snack or worse." Sean said as Spyro appeared behind her and snarled with fire coming from his nose. "TALK!" Sean roared.
"I've worked for your wife's uncle for years! He said he needed everyone to think the trial was fair." Hotah said.
"So Unalaq told you exactly what to say?" Sean questioned.
"Yes, Every word." Hotah yelled.
"Then why did he have you free Korra's mother and change your sentence!" Sean demanded to know.
"He's trying to keep her on his side. But he also wants him out of the way just like when he got him banished." Hotah said shocking him.
"What do you mean got Tonraq banished?" Sean asked.
"Nothing!" Hotah said before Sean's eyes turned blood red having learned how to do this from Hades.
"Keep...TALKING!" Sean said snarling at him.
Later
"I trust my instincts then! I trust them even more now!" Sean roared smashing a table.
"Hey thats expensive." Varrick said.
"SHUT UP!" Sean roared making him yelp.
"Sean calm down." Korra said holding his hands. "Now what happened?" Korra asked.
"Unalaq has been lying from the very beginning. Not only was the trial one big lie He also ordered those fuckers to attack the north 20 years ago knowing your father was more focused on doing his job than spiritual balance. He wanted him out of the way." Sean said shocking her before looking down.
"And I actually trusted him for a while." Korra said before he held her.
"We'll get back at him for that and everything he's ever done. I promise." Sean said making her nod. "But first we're busting your dad out of jail." Sean said before Bolin walked in with his hair smoothed down in a water tribe dress...Along with Pabu who looked beyond annoyed. "Uh?" Sean tried to say completely confused before Reznov and Julia snickered before bursting out laughing falling down.
"YOU ARE SUCH A SAP!" Reznov yelled slamming his fist on the floor.
"What...happened?" Sean asked confused scratching his head in confusion.
"Oh I forgot to mention. While you were gone Bolin started dating Eska." Korra said.
"Do you have something for Water Tribe girls since first it was Korra now Eska." Sean said making Korra snicker since this was true.
"So I'm guessing the breakup with Eska didn't go well?" Asami asked.
"No, no, the honesty thing worked out great. So great that she decided we should get MARRIED!" Bolin roared making them chuckle in amusement.
"Buddy you have the worst taste in women." Sean said. "My littler brother has better tastes and he's into Jinora waiting for her to grow up till they can legally date." Sean said.
"Wait what?" Asami asked grinning.
"Oh yeah he's being honest. And I'm pretty sure the guy is supposed to propose to the girl." Korra said giggling slightly.
"I guess Eska didn't get the memo." Bolin said.
Later
At the prison a Northern water tribe soldier stood guard before a knife went through his throat making him choke on his own blood before dying.
"It's this door right here." Korra said before Sean ripped it off but found it empty. "But...I was here a couple hours ago." Korra said shocked.
"I'm sorry, Korra." Unalaq said making his presence known. "You'll never see your father again." Unalaq said.
"Where's my father?" Korra demanded glaring at him.
"On a ship heading to the Northern Water Tribe. There he'll serve out his sentence." Unalaq said.
"Bring him back. Or I'm taking you out and the entire northern water tribe." Sean said.
"Thats your answer to everything isn't it. Just kill everyone in your way. But what else would I expect from a demon who killed his entire family in cold blood." Unalaq said making him glare. "Hence the reason I tried to stop you two from getting married in the first place. The Avatar is meant to keep the balance and stop people like you and put you down. However instead because of you she's abandoned her responsibility." Unalaq said.
"I haven't abandoned anything. And don't talk to us like your any better. You had those barbarians attack and kill your own people in cold blood just for power." Korra said glaring at him.
"Not true. It's not power I seek it's spiritual balance. Something the Avatar has long since neglected. Every past Avatar has mostly solved every problem with violence instead of enlightenment. Just like my brother hence why I had to remove him." Unalaq said making her glare even more.
"Not even remotely true. Every Avatar tried to avoid violence as the answer but the people they were against wouldn't have it. Like I told Hiroshi the problem with this world isn't benders its man's hatred for other men for petty reasons." Sean said.
"I can't deny that honestly. But then you were once one of those people. Even at an early age you've always had great hatred for other men." Unalaq said.
"Wrong. My hatred wasn't born at birth it appeared when my mother blocked my memories of my brother when Ares took him. It created a void which was filled with anger since in the back of my mind I knew I had lost something important. She was just as responsible for my dark path as I was. It could have been avoided if she didn't do that." Sean said before pulling out his blades. "Now stand aside. You and your army will leave the South and never return." Sean said.
"If you start a war the Dark spirits..." Unalaq tried to say.
"Funny how they only showed up after you did. Your doing this somehow I can just tell. My instincts told me not to trust you when we first met and now they tell me your doing this." Sean said making him frown.
"Not even remotely true." Unalaq said before attacking them only for Sean to dash at him with insane speed making him gasp before Sean delivered a deadly blow making him crash into the wall.
"We need to move now!" Sean said before they used the Travel stone.
Arriving on Varrick's boat they saw him still in that platypus bear suit and Bolin still in the clothes Eska gave him.
"Where's your dead?" Bolin asked.
"On a ship heading north." Korra said before they saw the blockade of ships in the way.
"Allow me." Sean said heading out before summoning the Trident. "Go forward!" Sean yelled getting Varrick to do just that as Sean slammed his Trident down before a large wave forced the ships out of the way.
Meanwhile
Turok still in his wolf form had Ikki on his back after they had a nice talk about the good things of having siblings before they arrived back at the temple.
"Thank you Turok." Pemma said before noticing something. "Wait...Where are Tenzin and his siblings?" Pemma asked.
"Right here." Tenzin said walking to them with Kya and Bumi.
"So have we all learned to get along?" Turok asked amused.
"We're good now." Kya said smiling before Tenzin placed a hand on Turok's shoulder.
"Turok I am sorry for what happened to you in the past. But perhaps it helped you become someone far wiser than I initially realized. The one thing you value most like your brother is Family." Tenzin said making him smile.
"Yeah...I like to think that too." Turok said.
Meanwhile
After finding Tonraq and the rebels they told the truth.
"So once we knew the truth, we couldn't sit by and do nothing." Korra said.
"My own brother betrayed me. And our entire tribe." Tonraq said.
"Whats our next move?" one of the Rebels asked.
"I've been running from my past for too long. It's time I put my brother in his place." Tonraq said.
"You have our support, chief Tonraq."
"Ours too." Korra said holding Sean close.
"No. You two need to head back to Republic city and get the President to send the united forces to help us end this war. The South can give a good fight until you show up." Tonraq said before his daughter hugged him.
"I love you dad." Korra said.
"I love you too." Tonraq said.
Soon the rebels made it to shore.
"He'll be fine honey." Sean said kissing her forehead making her sigh as she held him.
"I really need to thank you, Korra." Bolin said.
"For what? I started a civil war." Korra said.
"You didn't start anything. Unalaq did this. Although...I can't help but wonder." Sean said.
"About what?" Korra asked.
"Why did he really wan the Spirit portals open. There has to be some endgame." Sean said.
"Doesn't matter. Now my relationship with Eska is finished." Bolin said proudly making everyone sweat-drop.
"You are gonna die a virgin." Reznov said making Julia and the girls snicker while he looked offended.
"Oh, looks like we have company. And not the fun kind!" Varrick said as they saw some large wave approaching them.
"The fuck is that?" Sean asked before Bolin took out a scope before gasping in shock before rubbing his eyes to look again. To his horror it was Eska with makeup running down her face with an enraged look. (OH GOD! I actually was terrified when I first saw this years ago when the episode came out)
"Oh my good lord!" Reznov said in shock.
"Anyone feel like throwing Bolin overboard?" Julia joked making the girls giggle.
"PLEASE DON'T!" Bolin screamed in fear.
"Varrick get us out of here." Sean said.
"Will do!" Varrick said before driving away from the crazy bride.
Authors note: I seriously love weekends cause I got this done right on time for today. Now Next Chapter we head back to Republic city and we'll see where things go from there. To My Loyal Guest Sora dude stop complaining. No one else is just you. And even if I finish this story I'm likely to make another one since I have never had this much inspiration since Rider of the League and look how good that turned out.
