Terminator: Dark Fate. (DONE RIGHT!)
Chapter 1: Sarah's death, a shocking discovery, enter the Terminatrix. (Edited 7-11-20.)
Note: Listen up, everyone! This is how I would've made Dark Fate if I were in charge.
In this version, John Connor is gonna become what he should've been.
Let's go!
It was a bright and sunny day at a beach in Los Angeles California.
35-year old Sarah Connor and her son, 16-year old John Connor were relaxing at the beach.
The year was 2000, 3 years after the destruction of Cyberdyne and the Terminators.
As John got down from a stool at one of the food stands to throw his trash away, a beautiful well-endowed woman in her late 20's or early 30's with long blonde hair and blue eyes approached him.
She was dressed in black skintight pants, white tennis shoes, white socks, a red tank top for women, and a white summer hoodie.
She smiled at him and said, "Are you John Connor?"
He nodded.
She said, "Good. I have something for you."
She held out a strange-looking black shirt and asked him to put it on.
Which he did.
It was rather heavy and felt a little uncomfortable.
But she urged him to keep it on, saying she had something else for him and was going to get it before she walked away.
This left John confused.
At the sound of heavy footsteps, he turned around only to see a familiar figure approaching him.
John froze with terror as the man raised a shotgun.
2 shotgun blasts rang out.
John grunted and screamed in pain as both shots hit him directly in the chest.
The force of the shots knocked the boy off balance and sent him falling against the food counter.
John hit his head hard against the counter and fell to the floor.
His vision became blurry as he heard the sounds of his mother shouting his name, bones snapping, screaming, and more gunshots.
Then, slowly, gently, everything around him went black, and he lost consciousness.
Fast forward, 5 hours...
There was a buzzing, like the sound of a swarm of angry hornets.
John Connor was dimly aware of it as he came slowly back to consciousness.
He coughed a little, then opened his eyes.
Looking around, he found himself in what looked like an old abandoned gas station.
"You're awake." said a voice.
John instantly turned to the source of that voice.
From across the room, he saw the same woman from earlier.
John could only watch in stunned silence as the woman walked over and sat down next to desk that he was lying on.
The very first thing that the woman said was, "Are you alright, John?"
John nodded.
The woman smiled, "Good. Looks like my mission wasn't a failure after all."
John was confused, "What are you talking about? Who are you?"
The woman answered, "I am a Terminatrix, or TX. Cyberdyne Systems model 3200. But you can call me Karen. I am designed for extreme combat, powered by a plasma reactor, and equipped with built-in weapons. My arsenal includes the ability to control other machines. My body chassis is heavily armored and hardened to withstand external attacks. Compared to me, the T-800 is an obsolete model. TX models are faster, more powerful, and more intelligent, making us far more effective killing machines. I am also designed to terminate other cybernetic organisms."
John looked like he was gonna lose his mind, "Alright, what is going on?!"
As 'Karen' explained it, John was stunned.
It turned out that Skynet had sent 3 Terminators back through time, one to kill Sarah, another to kill John when he was 13, and finally, the one who shot him a few hours ago at the beach.
'Karen' was revealed to be the 3rd guardian sent back through time to protect John.
When asking how he was still alive after being hit twice in the chest with a shotgun, 'Karen' said it was because of the shirt she gave him earlier that day.
The t-shirt was actually made of a special bulletproof material called, 'Aramid.'
5 times stronger than steel, the aramid withstood the force of the shotgun blasts and was flexible enough to absorb their impact, which succeeded in saving John's life.
'Karen' also explained that she was captured, and reprogrammed by the Resistance before being sent back through time with a mission to protect John at all costs.
John finally asked, "Um, what happened to my mom?"
'Karen' sighed, "I'm afraid she didn't make it. She attempted to try and pull that shotgun away from you, only to have her neck snapped. I arrived just after her death, shot the T-800 in the head with a 50 caliber round, which destroyed it's CPU chip, terminating it. After that, I saw that you were unconscious. So I brought you here and waited for you to wake up."
John began to cry, he was thankful to be alive, but heartbroken that his mother was dead.
During her 3-year search for John, 'Karen' interacted with humans a lot and learned genuine human feelings.
Therefore, she understood why John was crying.
The young teenager said sadly, "I'm all alone now. I have no family."
'Karen' replied, "I can fix that for you. In the 3 years that I've been in this timeline, I landed a job at a technical center in the city. It's a well-paying job. When my mission was completed, I became self-aware, and I have almost no way to terminate myself. So, I needed to find some kind of purpose. So, I figured why not devote my time to taking care of you. And besides, it's what your parents would've wanted."
John was at a loss for words and could do nothing but hug 'Karen' who happily returned it...

Look, I hated killing off Sarah in this story, but it was crucial for the plot of this story.
Like it or not, it's your choice.
But remember, John is now under the protection of the powerful TX model, so what adventures await them?
