Chapter 28 Harmonic Convergence
Spyro flew the others back to the Eastern Airtemple.
"You ok kid?" Bumi asked seeing Turok look somewhat pale.
"Yeah. I'll be fine. It's the first time I've ever used this ability." Turok said.
"I thought you were immortal shouldn't you have unlimited life energy?" Kya asked.
"It doesn't work that way. Immortality means you don't age or can't die by conventional or magical means depending on the blessing or curse of your point of view like Baldur's former curse. Life energy however is limited within a body even with immortality. And when it starts to leave the body to keep another person in the land of the living...It has physical effects. If Turok had Baldur's curse he would be fine but even I won't put that on him to keep him alive in this situation." Sean said looking at his brother.
"I can handle it for now." Turok said.
"I know you care for her and all but that was a fucking dumb choice to do it so quickly." Sean said scolding his brother.

"Where's Jinora?" Pema asked before Turok picked her up making her widen her eyes.
"Her soul is currently trapped somewhere either in the spirit world or the material world." Turok said.

"It'll keep her body from dying until we can restore her soul back to her body." Turok said.
"Look right now we need to head back to Republic city and Tell Raiko the situation. He has to see reason in this." Sean said.

"We don't have a choice." Sean said as they all got back on Spyro.
Meanwhile
Tonraq and his forces were outside the city.
"Maybe we should wait another day. Korra and Sean might come back with reinforcements"
"We can't wait any longer." Tonraq said.
"I insist that you do." Poseidon said appearing from the snow in water form shocking them all.
"Poesidon." Tonraq said bowing.
"Wait a few more days. Reinforcements will arrive soon. If you attack now you will all die since Unalaq has gathered an even bigger army." Poseidon said.
"What are you talking about?" Tonraq said before the ground began to shake before they saw to their shock millions of warriors outside the city.
"The dark Spirit Vaatu has given Unalaq an army of Sean's former enemies. He's revived the Persian empire he wiped out single handedly over 200 years ago as well as many of his recent enemies he's taken out." Poseidon said.
"We wouldn't stand a chance." Tonraq said.
"Precisely. Be patient. In a few days you will have your reinforcements to take back your home." Poseidon said before vanishing.
"Ok we wait until then." Tonraq said.
Meanwhile
Spyro flew the others back to Republic City.
Korra however looked conflicted remembering what she said to Mako and Asami.
"Still thinking about what you said?" Sean asked holding her close.
"I can't believe I said that to them." Korra said holding her knees.
"Korra, when we're in pain we say and do things we normally never would. They understood what you were going through. They'll forgive you without question." Sean said making her smile softly before kissing him.

"You're alive?" Raiko asked frowning.

"He's not trying to take over the South Pole. He wants to destroy the whole world." Sean said shocking him.

"He can if he unleashed Vaatu. It's a dark spirit thats similar to the one inside me which is where my Avatar powers come from. If he merges with Vaatu his plan to destroy the world begins. We need those troops to stop him otherwise he'll win for sure." Korra said making him frown.
"No." Raiko said shocking them all completely. "I'm not sending my troops to the South. They will remain here and protect the city from this dark spirit." Raiko said.
"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR FUCKING MIND!" Sean roared.
"My answer is unchanged...Unless you accept one condition I have." Raiko said.
"And what is that?" Korra asked.
"His execution." Raiko said glaring at Sean making them glare.
"What the fuck did I ever do to you?" Sean asked.
"To me? Nothing honestly but I know your history. The people you slaughtered and the children who died by those very blades. Including your own family." Raiko said making him growl in rage.
"Thats not who he is anymore. People do change." Korra said holding her husband.
"People change yes. But not demons like him." Raiko said.
"You are one dumb idiotic son of a bitch you know that?" Sean said.
"Those are my conditions. Either you let yourself be killed by the law or I refuse to help you." Raiko said before Sean punched him into a wall out cold.
"IDIOT!" Sean yelled completely pissed off.
"And this is why I hate politics." Baldur said appearing surprising them.
"Baldur? What are you doing here?" Korra asked.
"Simple to give you a message. Zeus, Odin and Ra are assembling their armies to fight Unalaq. They'll be assembled in a couple days." Baldur said.

Later they got Mako out of jail after Varrick was found guilty of setting him up after trying to abduct the president to get the united forces to join the war to make a profit.
"Guys...I am so sorry about before...I was just." Korra tried to say before Asami pulled her into a hug.

"Then there was that fight against Cronos where while you did win before he died you got crushed by his hand and Ares nearly killed you." Mako said making him groan even louder.
"And finally your fight with Thanatos where you had a major wound in the stomach after getting stabbed." Bolin said.
"I hate all of you." Sean said making them burst out laughing. "I'm surprised you didn't list Freya." Sean said to Korra who grins.
"I helped you with that one mister. And you didn't actually get badly injured in that one since she wasn't in her right mind." Korra said remembering how angry she was.
"True. Ok fine so I get into a lot of trouble so fucking sue me." Sean said making Korra giggle before kissing him.
"But I still love you regardless of the situations." Korra said making him smile lightly.
Thats when they visited Varrick about what he did with the stuff he stole from Asami.

"Relax. All the stuff is on my battle ship." Varrick said.
"You have a battleship?" Korra asked.
"Sure. I bought the first one ever made." Varrick said.
"Whatever we'll take it. It'll be the flagship for the attack." Sean said. "In the meantime I suggest everyone gets some rest for the big fight in a couple days. This is gonna be even more dangerous than Amon's war." Sean said.
Soon Sean and Korra were back in their house before Sean was in the shower.
As much as he hated going into another war he knew he had no choice. The war against Amon wasn't really a war since it didn't actually involve killing so many people like it requires.

Soon enough the three armies were completely assembled along with the united forces. Since Raiko was currently in a coma due to Sean's overuse of force General Iroh was now in charge for the time being. And the Fire nation had also decided to join once they heard of the situation.
"This one hell of an army." Reznov said as they got on the flagship.
"Lets go." Sean said as they headed to the South Pole.
"You said you single handedly wiped out the Persian empire before right?" Korra asked.
"Not in a single day if you have that impression. It took me at least five days to do so and I wasn't holding back like I usually do. Taking down an army numbered in the millions is not an easy task even for a half god or full god." Sean said.
"Coming from the man who's killed a few gods himself." Deimos said approaching his brother making him smile before getting into an armlock with him.
"Good to see you brother." Sean said.
"Fighting to protect the world from evil is what we stand for." Deimos said.
"Hmm." Sean said before looking at every other ship with the flagships led by the gods including their father...And Ares making him frown.
"I don't like that he's here." Korra said glaring at him.
"Nor do I. But in this case we all have a common enemy and cause." Sean said as they sailed for the South Pole.
Later
Tonraq and his rebels were once more outside the city waiting for their reinforcements to arrive.
"Poesidon said they should be here soon." Tonraq said.
Unalaq was walking through the city with his personal guards around him.
However thats when they noticed a large wave of water coming up but not down.
"Odd." Unalaq said seeing this.

Coming from behind the wave were the armies of the gods making Unalaq widen his eyes. He expected the Greeks sure but not the armies of other lands including the fire nation and united forces or the gods themselves.
"What?" Unalaq asked in shock.
Sean was on the flagship glaring at the enemy seeing a blockade in front of them.
"RAM THEM!" Sean yelled.
"Hang on!" Reznov yelled before they rammed right through the blockade with ease.
"This is not good. I left most of the army at the portal." Unalaq said not pleased.
He had thousands of men here but the millions he had brought back from death remained at the portal to keep Korra and the others out.
"We will handle them." Modi said with his brother at his side.
"See to it that you do." Unalaq said leaving with his personal guard.
Tonraq and the others saw their reinforcements and cheered.
"Now is the time to take back what is ours!" Tonraq said before using water bending to slide down with his troops.
The flagship rammed into the docks before Sean and the others got off as the Persians charged at them.
Sean growled before pulling out his blades and slashed at them with ease before a wave of water washed them away making him turn and saw Theseus fully healed.
"You better not try anything." Sean said making him laugh.
"All in the past. They say defeat can make you more humble and open your eyes." Theseus said before they both charged at the Persians.
Korra roared using water bending on her enemies before freezing them on the walls refusing to kill before she was attacked by Perseus.
"YOU!" Korra yelled annoyed.
"You should have left the Demon and become my bride. A prize like you is wasted on a mistake like him!" Perseus yelled making her roar before attacking him.
Reznov blasted a large number of Persians with lightning before his father smashed his hammer at many of them.
Baldur laughed as he charged right through his foes before coming face to face with his mother.
"Mother." Baldur said glaring at her making her freeze.
"My son please. Don't let that demon continue to poison your mind. Join me and help Vaatu escape to make a new and better world." Freya begged her son.
"Your sick. I'm gonna enjoy putting you down once and for all." Baldur said.
"So be it." Freya said before he attacked her.
Sean roared slashing through his enemies with ease before lightning ran down as Zeus struck them down before Ares roared as he slashed through them.
Hades roared as he crushed the Persians before summoning the souls of the underworld to attack them making the Persians scream in fear.
Turok in wolf form slashed the throats of many of his enemies before suddenly feeling weak and collapsed.
"Turok!" Tenzin yelled rushing to him before he turned human.
"Ugh! The seal taking a toll on me." Turok said feeling extremely weak before Kya rushed to him.
"I'll take care of him." Kya said.
"Right." Tenzin said rushing off to find Sean.
Sean roared as he fought agains the Persians greatest warriors known as the Immortals. (From 300 rise of an empire. Picture the whole Persian army from both movies)
Thats when Perseus came flying through the wall and landed next to him as Korra glared at him.
"Thats for that sexist line at the reception." Korra said still pissed off about that making Sean chuckle before standing over his half brother who was bleeding heavily.
"Now you see why I married her and made her immortal. She's as tough as I am when I was just a Spartan Captain." Sean said before slamming his foot into his head crushing it and his brain.
However a mighty roar was heard making him dodge as Hercules was seen.
"Hello...Brother." Hercules said.
"Ah Shit." Sean said before Hercules attacked him only for Sean to equip his personal weapons. "Those are mine!" He roared.
"Mine now!" Sean yelled before attacking him.
Poseidon slammed his Trident down before the water began to destroy the Northern troops making them yell in horror as nothing they did worked against the god of their domain.
Athena slashed through various Persians before coming face to face with Thanatos who laughed.
"Athena. I have longed to battle you since you protected the Demon from my wrath for murdering my daughter." Thanatos said pulling his sword out of a Southern rebel making her frown before attacking each other.
Tonraq and his forces attacked the Immortals before he spotted Unalaq being escorted making him frown.
"I'm putting an end to this now." Tonraq said going after them before taking out the guards.
"Hello, Tonraq. Looking for me?" Unalaq mocked making him frown before attacking him but got pushed back. "Brother, I'm too strong for you." Unalaq said.
"You're no brother of mine. You betrayed me and the North for that stunt of yours 20 years ago. You killed your own people for gods sakes." Tonraq said.
"They were nothing but expendable souls for the ferrymen Charon. Besides I did a better job as chief than you or Father ever could." Unalaq mocked making him growl.
Sean roared slamming Hercules down hard before Korra Earth Bent him upwards as Sean's chains wrapped around him before spinning him around.
"AHHHH!" Hercules yelled getting dizzy.
"AND AWAY YOU GO MOTHER FUCKER!" Sean yelled letting him go making him fly out in the distance.
"He better not have survived that." Korra said
"He will. He's got a thick skull." Sean said before a wall exploded as Tonraq flew into the one next to them.
"DAD!" Korra yelled rushing to him to heal him while Unalaq laughed.
"Is that the best you can do? How someone like you ever ended up the Avatar's father is beyond me." Unalaq mocked making Korra growl before Sean stood in front of his family glaring at him making him grin.
"I am going to enjoy killing you. Demon of Sparta." Unalaq said.
"Better a demon then a Devil." Sean said pulling out his blades. "I'm going to do what I should have done 14 years ago when I first met you." Sean said before roaring as he charged right at him.
Julia and her father blasted a large number of Persians away before Set jumped on her.
"LET GO!" Julia yelled.
"DIE!" Set yelled only to get blasted by lightning from Reznov making him crash into a building as she flew away.
"I'm going to enjoy this." Reznov said pulling out a sword.
"Hello Little Brother." Magni said as he and Modi surrounded him.
"Oh fuck." Reznov said before they attacked each other.
Freya was a mess as her son proved to be stronger than her.
"Your a fool mother. You'll help bring Ragnarök to the entire world just to get back at one man?" Baldur asked.
"Yes! He's a demon who made you vulnerable!" Freya yelled making him shake his head.
"How father ever loved you is beyond me." Baldur said before punching her away.
Unalaq dodged most of Sean's attack but he was still wounded with blood running down his face before Sean threw a dagger at his shoulder making him grunt before Sean charged at him with insane speed making him gasp as Sean equiped the Gauntlet of Zeus on before punching him away as he crashed into the wall bleeding heavily before Sean stood over him.
"Any last words!" Sean asked about to crush him.
"How about a trade? Jinora's soul for my life." Unalaq said stopping him before Unalaq pulled out a scroll. "Inside here is her soul. You can have it if you let me go." Unalaq said making him frown but did sense her soul within making him sigh as he held his hand out before he placed it in.
"Just remember...I beat you." Sean said making him glare before running off as his forces controlling the city were destroyed while only one of his highest ranking Generals was killed and the others retreated. Not that he was much of a threat to begin with since Perseus was no stronger than an average Spartan.

Across the city the men cheered for their victory.
"You let Unalaq go? Why?" Korra asked why her husband would do that before he held out the scroll.
"For Jinora's soul." Sean said making her eyes soften. "Come on. Turok doesn't have much more life energy left." Sean said as they ran off.
Inside the healing hut Turok was pale as his life energy was drained significantly before Sean and Korra rushed in.
"He doesn't have much time left." Katara said sadly before he walked to Jinora before opening the scroll and her soul was released before going back to her body as the symbol on her head vanished before she opened her eyes.
"Daddy?" Jinora asked making him sigh in relief holding her before she noticed Turok laying on his back. "Whats wrong with Turok?" Jinora asked concerned.
"He used one of his family's ancient techniques to keep you alive because he cares about you. It drained his life energy to keep you alive. Now that your awake he should recover soon." Tenzin said making her look at him.
The rebels and the soldiers celebrated their victory.
"I'm glad we won back the city but this is far from over." Korra said to Sean who nods.
"We still have a few days until the convergence. We can win before then. But for now...Lets enjoy the moment." Sean said making her smile as she held him close before walking to the men. "MEN! Who will share their wine with us?" Sean asked making them shout out while Korra laughed. (To those who are fans of the 300 film series I couldn't resist)
"I don't suppose theres the same kind from the vault?" Korra asked remembering the great taste it had.
"Wishful thinking." Sean said making her laugh.
Next morning
The troops were moving out to one of Unalaq's bases before they came to a stop to plan out the next attack.
"While you were gone Unalaq set up several camp sites. Getting past them is the only way to get to the portal." Tonraq said as they looked at a map to the portal.
"Add to the fact we also have to take down my old resurrected enemies like Cronos makes it more difficult." Sean said.
"Wait what?" Tonraq asked making sure he heard that right.
"Cronos is back and we can assume he's no longer slowed down by the temple. I killed him once I can kill him again." Sean said.
"Not alone you won't." Zeus said making him nod.
Soon enough they came to a narrow path before they decided to set up camp.
"You ok?" Sean asked Korra who nods.
"I'm fine. Just keeping my guard up." Korra said making him nod.
"You did good against both Perseus and Hercules." Sean said making her smile.
"Well, I had a good teacher." Korra said making him chuckle before holding her close.
"When this is over I think it would be best to take a nice vacation." Sean said making her nod.
"To Asgard again? I wouldn't mind going back there." Korra said.
"If you want. Personally anywhere would be nice." Sean said making her smile holding him close.
Thats when they saw Turok.
"Feeling better?" Korra asked.
"Very." Turok said shaking his head.
Thats when they felt the ground shake.
"Earthquake?" Korra asked.
"No...Let me show you what Spartans alone are capable of doing without the power of a god." Sean said.

Heading towards the army were a million Persians all set out on killing every last one of them.
And who was leading this massive army?
Alrik who rode a large horse ready to destroy his enemies again.
Leading the Spartans was King Leonidas.
"This is where we hold them. This is where we fight! This is where they die!" Leonidas said to his soldiers.
"Earn these Shields boys!" Captain Artemis yelled making them cheer.
"Remember this day, Men, for it will be yours for all time." Leonidas said. Soon Alrik appeared in front of the rest of his men on his horse.
"Spartans! Lay down your weapons!" Alrik yelled. Of course none of them did that making him frown before seeing something coming towards him from the air and widened his eyes when he saw it was a spear that pierced his heart making him fall down dead off his horse. Sean was the one who threw the spear from his blindspot..
"Persians!" Leonidas yelled before the rest of his soldiers formed a Phalanx formation. "Come and get them!" Leonidas yelled getting the Persians to charge at them.
"Hold!" Artemis yelled as the Persians neared closer.
"Give them Nothing, But take from them Everything!" Leonidas yelled as the got even closer.
"Steady!" Artemis yelled as they rammed into their shields. The Spartans were holding them back with ease while the Persians tried to push them back to get through them.

"Is that the best you can do!" A Spartan yelled before one of the Persians Spears cut Artemis's arm making him yell in pain before stabbing the Persian with his Spear.
"No!" Leonidas yelled before the Spartans pushed the Persian back enough and stabbed them with their spears before resuming their formation and did the same thing again and again. Soon enough they advanced from their position and started slaughtering the Persian army without even trying.
"No Prisoners!" Artemis yelled.
"NO MERCY!" Leonidas yelled.
Sean and the others watched from above of the onslaught his people did to the Persians.
"Wow you guys really don't hold back." Korra said impressed before Sean and Poseidon used their powers to create a large rift between the land where the Persians were now corned by the Spartans who didn't suffer a single loss in all that.
"They look thirsty." Captain Artemis said making Leonidas chuckle.
"Well, lets give them something to drink." Leonidas said as they pulled their shields out. "To the cliffs!" Leonidas yelled as his men moved forward while the Persians tried to avoid the cliff and them.
Ultimately they were killed by the Spartans or from falling to their deaths.
"Yikes." Korra said.
"Hell of a way to start the day." Sean said before they heard horns before a barrage of arrows came out before blocking the sun.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me!" Reznov yelled before Sean and Poseidon used their powers to shield them while the Spartans used their shields.
"Persian cowards." Leonidas said.
Sean holding Korra close heard Reznov start laughing.
"The fuck are you laughing at?" Sean asked.
"You had to say it 200 years ago." Reznov laughed.
"What?" Sean asked.
"Fight in the shade!" Reznov yelled making him and everyone else burst out laughing.
"Ok I deserve that." Sean said.
Soon the onslaught of arrows came to an end and the ice wall turned to water again.
"That was fun." Turok said before spotting the next group of Persians led by Hercules.
"He's mine." Sean said jumping down before facing Hercules who roared as he charged right at him only for Sean to wrap his chain around him before slamming him into a wall hard making him groan in pain.
Thats when Megaera appeared and attacked him as well.
"I will not be bested twice!" Megaera roared only for Sean to kick her back before slamming Hercules into her.
"GET OFF ME BUG!" Hercules yelled before throwing her at him and she groaned in pain as she was stabbed in the stomach when she hit him.
"You are without a doubt just as worthless as Perseus." Sean said before slashing her in half.
Hercules roared before trying to hit him only for Sean to grab his fist before twisting it making him growl.
"This time there are no civilians in the crossfire so I don't have to hold back." Sean said before slamming him into the ice.
The others fought agains the next wave of Persians before Zeus summoned a storm of lightning to decimate most of them as they cried out in horror.
Sean roared as he slashed Hercules in the chest making him growl before kicking him away before tearing out a large chunk of ice before Sean jumped up and equipped the Nemean cestus before punching it down pinning him to the ground before Sean started punching him in the face repeatedly before.
"ENOUGH!" Korra yelled pulling him back. "He's already dead." Korra said making him look seeing his face was destroyed.
"Whoops. I went overboard didn't I?" Sean asked.
"Ya thank?" Korra asked crossing her arms.
"Sorry. After that last stunt of his I guess I took it personally." Sean said seeing the Persians were all dead. "Ok...We're gonna set up camp here for tonight to recover. The next wave will be even more difficult to defeat since we're getting close to the portal. We still have a few days before the Convergence." Sean said.
"He's right." Athena said.
Soon it was night and everyone was recovering from the fight.
"I never realized that real war could be so brutal." Korra said seeing the men getting treated and having their wounds closed.
"War is hell Korra. I learned that a long time ago. There was someone I knew though in my days as a Spartan Captain who always wore a smile even in the worst of times. He made the men feel less afraid of the possible outcome of death." Sean said smiling at the memory.
"Who?" Korra asked.
"I'll tell you that story later. Come on Lets get some rest." Sean said as they walked to the others around a fire.
"What are you guys up to?" Korra asked.
"Telling old stories." Reznov said drinking some wine. "Hey Kruger...How bout we tell the one about the Trolls?" Reznov said.
"Oh god no!" Turok yelled in horror making him and Reznov burst out laughing while Julia giggled.
"Trolls? Oh you mean those big giant things in Midgard?" Korra asked remembering them after Freya was killed the first time.
"Yeah. You know what? Yeah let me show you." Sean said before his eyes glowed.
50 years ago
"Remind me why we're here?" Turok asked as they were in a cave.
"Brok and Sindri said they needed some ingredients to enhance some armor. This is where they said to go." Sean said pulling out some leaf before jumping down. "Now we can..." Sean tried to say before the whole place shook.
"What is that?" Turok asked concerned before they saw Reznov and Julia run towards them.
"What the fuck is..." Sean tried to say.
"RUN MOTHER FUCKERS! KRUGER RUN!" Reznov yelled as they ran past them.
"Huh?" Turok asked before the shaking got worse before they turned around seeing a large number of trolls running towards them.
"AHHHH!" The brothers yelled before running away.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" Sean yelled at Reznov.
"IT'S NOT MY FAULT!" Reznov yelled before they hid at the sides of the walls as the Trolls ran past them.
"Phew." Julia said in relief.
"What did you do?" Sean asked before Reznov pulled out some hair from a troll.
"Got the ingredient is what I did." Reznov said annoyed.
"HOW IS THAT NOT YOUR FAULT!" Sean roared.
"Uh guys?" Turok said seeing a dead little troll about half his size. "Poor little fucker." Turok said kicking it away before it came to life and roared at him and bit him in the balls.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Turok yelled in pain before punching it in the head. "OOOOWWWWW!" Turok yelled while the others burst out laughing. "GET IT OFF!" Turok yelled slamming it into the walls. (To those who are fans of the Austin power movies you know where this came from)
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Sean laughed before falling backwards holding his sides. "OW My fucking ribs! I can't breathe!" Sean laughed so hard.
"GET IT OFF!" Turok yelled punching it in the head trying to make it let go.
The others couldn't stop laughing.
"This is payback for all your stupid jokes." Sean laughed.
"AHHHH!" Turok yelled trying to pull it off before a sword went through the head making it let go and Turok sighed in relief holding his balls. "Ow." Turok whimpered before falling over making the others laugh even harder.
End Flashback
Korra and the others couldn't stop laughing while he looked pissed off.
"IT'S NOT FUNNY!" Turok roared.
"Sure it is. It was payback for all those stupid jokes and pranks you pulled on us." Sean laughed making him growl before walking away.
"He makes it too easy." Korra laughed.
"FUCK YOU GUYS! I'd like to see how you take a bite to the crotch!" Turok yelled.
"The fun kind or the bad kind like that?" Korra asked making everyone laugh harder.
2 days later
The March to the portal was getting easier by the day.
Many of Unalaq's forces had been crushed while the armies of the gods had suffered very little casualties due to the training and discipline.
As for his generals?
The remaining furies had been killed yesterday by Zeus's hands having enough of their interference.
Now however though.
Freya roared as She and Sean fought once more with him having the edge before wrapping his chains around her neck making her gag before slamming her down in the snow making her grunt as she tried to move but Baldur held her down with his foot.
"See mother? You've lost. Your on the wrong side of history." Baldur said as Sean stood above her making her growl.
"I hope Unalaq kills you and your wife. You don't deserve anything!" Freya roared before Sean slashed her throat making her gag on her own blood before dying again.
"Dumb bitch." Sean said as they moved forward once more.
Meanwhile
Unalaq was livid. His forces and his generals had proven to be useless against the enemy he sought to stop.
"Harmonic convergence is only 1 day away. I need to slow them down further." Unalaq said.
"Then send everything you have left. Let us deal with them with everything we have." Set said.
"If I send everything I have I leave the portal vulnerable." Unalaq said.
"Then send me." Cronos said standing above them. "It is time I have revenge on the gods who took everything from me." Cronos said.
"Go. At the very least you may be able to delay them for a bit longer." Unalaq said before Cronos headed in their direction.
"He won't stop them." Thanatos said.
"No but he can at least slow them down. I'll save everything else I have left here to defend the portal for as long as possible. I can't send any Dark spirits since Korra now knows how to calm them down." Unalaq said regretting ever teaching her anything.
Meanwhile
The army once more made camp to prepare for the final battle that was to come. They had only lost about 10% of their forces since the majority of the Persian empire depended on numbers instead of proper training. The place was hit with a storm covering the area making it difficult to see any incoming attacks.
Currently Sean and Korra were in their tent resting as she held him close.
"Scared?" Sean asked making her nod.
"Sean theres something I need to tell you. While you were gone and after I opened the spirit portal...I saw a vision of you dying in my arms." Korra said.
"From the portal?" Sean asked.
"Unalaq said it showed what I feared...But now I'm starting to wonder if it was real." Korra said.
"Hmm. From what Athena told me while I was recovering he was speaking the truth...These portals do have a tendency to show us what we fear." Sean said making her look up.
"So...What I saw wasn't real?" Korra asked hopeful.
"More then likely. While it can reveal pieces of the future nothing is ever written that cannot be unwritten. We decide our fate not others." Sean said making her smile before she kissed him.
However suddenly the ground began to shake making them narrow their eyes before rushing outside.
"Now what?" Mako asked before the ground Sean and Korra stood on was lifted up.
"Oh man." Sean said as Korra stood next to him.
"Once more the Slave of the Gods in my grasp...And his precious wife." Cronos said.
"Cronos!" Sean yelled glaring at him.
"Last time you defeated me because the temple and the chains slowed me down. But this time." Cronos said placing them between his fingers. "Nothing will stop me." Cronos said.
Sean forced the fingers apart from crushing them.
"Kruger. You and your wife will suffer for what you did to me a year ago." Cronos said trying to crush them only for Zeus to blast him. "AHHH!" Cronos yelled in shock before Sean jumped down with Korra using his chains to get to the ground safely.
"This time you will deal with more than one god." Zeus said blasting his father making him roar.
"ZEUS!" Cronos roared trying to crush him only for a wave of water to attack him from Poseidon.
"Your era was over long ago. The Sisters of fate saw to that!" Poseidon said before Sean blasted Cronos with fire making him roar in rage trying to smash him but he dodged.
"I will make your son into a bloody stain!" Cronos yelled stomping on him only to cry out in pain as Sean slashed his foot.
"HA! Thats gotta hurt." Sean laughed. "It's funny to you I'm the size of an ant and I fucking hurt ya!" Sean laughed making him roar in rage before Sean flew up using fire before landing next to his shoulder.
"Where did you go?" Cronos yelled before Sean stabbed his shoulder. "AHHH! KRUGER!" Cronos yelled only to get blasted by Zeus, Poseidon and Hades before Thor flew up and hit his head with his Hammer making him roar in pain.
"Give it up! You can't defeat all of us!" Sean yelled before wrapping his chains around his neck before pulling him down.
"AHHHH!" Cronos roared trying to smash him but he dodged with ease before pulling out the blade of Artemis and slashed his stomach making him roar loudly.
However suddenly Thanatos flew at him and forced him into a wall.
"Just you and me Demon of Sparta." Thanatos said making him roar before kicking him back.
Cronos roared as he tried to crush the other gods while the mortals pulled back.
Sean and Thanatos fought one more before someone stabbed Thanatos from behind making him roar seeing Deimos.
"You will die the same way twice!" Deimos roared as Sean stabbed him in the chest making Thanatos roar before he exploded.
"These guys aren't nearly as tough to beat the second time around." Sean said before he blasted Cronos with lightning making him roar in pain before Sean flew to his forehead as the other gods kept him pinned.
"YOU ARE STILL NOTHING BUT A COWARD WHO KILLS HIS OWN KIN AT EVERY TURN!" Cronos yelled.
"Again you ate your own kids out of some dumb fear!" Sean yelled making him roar before Sean charged his blade like before.
"KRUGER! NOT AGAIN!" Cronos roared before Sean stabbed him in the head making him roar in agonizing pain before Sean jumped away as he fell backwards.
"AND STAY DEAD THIS TIME YOU FUCK!" Sean roared.
"Well, at least you didn't get crushed like before." Korra said standing next to him.
"Are you ever gonna let that go?" Sean asked making her grin.
"Mmm...No." Korra teased making him sigh before she kissed him. "And he didn't give that prediction like last time. Maybe he was actually lying to scare you." Korra said.
"Told you." Sean said.
Next day
The army continued to move forward.
"There it is." Korra said seeing the spirit portal protected by what remained of the Persian empire.
"Ready?" Sean asked as she held his hand.
"Hold up. Before we go in I wanna do some surveillance real quick." Turok said taking the form of a hawk before flying up to see whats unseen.
Flying through the the defenses he saw what was left of the Persian empire but failed to see Magni, Modi and Set.
'Hmm. They must be in the portal. I'd wager half of what remains of his army is in the spirit world incase things don't go as planned.' Turok thought before flying back to the others.
"What did you see?" Tonraq asked.
"His general are nowhere in sight. I'd wager they along with Unalaq and half his army are inside the Spirit world incase things don't go as planned." Turok said.
"A smart move. Doesn't matter we're busting our way in." Sean said as the Men roared before charging through.
Unalaq and his generals and over a million soldiers stood at the portals from inside the spirit world.
Thats when what remained within the material world ran through the portal making him frown.
"Finally. It's payback time." Magni said.

Rushing through the portals were the armies of the gods who roared as they and the Persian empire clashed.
Sean and Korra came through last.
"Seal the portal. Unalaq is mine." Sean said before she grabbed him.
"Be careful." Korra said kissing him making him nod before rushing off before she entered the Avatar State and tried to seal the portal.
"Yes...Continue to fight. I feed from this conflict!" Vaatu said pleased.
Unalaq growled as he fought several benders before using ice to kill them before Sean landed in front of him with the Gauntlet of Zeus equipped and the shield of Helios.
"This time you have nothing to bargain with to save your pathetic life!" Sean yelled.
"Last time I was unprepared. This time I am. I will become the new Avatar and bring a new age of spiritual enlightenment. But first I am going to kill you Demon of Sparta." Unalaq said grinning.
"Like I said before. Better a demon than a devil." Sean said before attacking him with a roar.
Reznov fought against both his brothers before stabbing Modi in the side making him grunt in pain before his feet were kicked out making him fall on his back before aiming his sword at his face.
"BROTHER HELP!" Modi yelled.
"One less brother in my way." Magni said.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Modi roared before Reznov snapped his neck.
"You really are the worst of our kind. At lest we all changed." Reznov said.
"To what? A bunch of weaklings who now seek peace like the Vanir? You and Kruger shamed us all." Magni said before charging at him only for his head to be cut off with ease making him sigh.
Julia and Set battled as she flew in the air before crashing him down making him groan before she landed and her human face appeared.
"I looked up to you as a girl." Julia said.
"You wouldn't understand. How could you. A favorite child of a favorite child!" Set yelled before attacking her but she dodged with ease before blasting him with air making him groan in pain before a blade went through his head killing him.
Sean and Unalaq fought with all their might and Sean proved once more to be the better warrior as Unalaq was greatly wounded having blood coming down his face.
"Is that the best you can do?" Sean asked before noticed the beams started to get intense. "Come on Korra." Sean said before Unalaq attacked him again.
"Your running out of time, Raava. I know you feel it coming." Vaatu said.
"SHUT UP!" Sean roared before blasting Unalaq with lightning making him roar in pain.
"Not even you can stop me Achilles." Vaatu said.
Korra roared trying to close the portals but it was too late as the portal forced her back before landing in Sean's arms as the beams crossed.
"Oh no." Tenzin said before outside a large wave of energy engulfed the entire world..
Thats when Vaatu finally escaped after 10000 years and laughed in victory.
"We're too late." Korra said.

"Not yet we aren't" Sean said rushing to Unalaq as Vaatu tried to fuse with him only for Unalaq to groan in pain as a blade went right through him.
"I told you...I would kill you." Sean said before slashing him in half.
"NOOO!" Vaatu roared before blasting him but he quickly dodged.
"ENOUGH!" Zeus said growing in size as did many gods. "You will not destroy the world Vaatu." Zeus said making him laugh.
"Oh but I will. And the first person I'm going to kill is your son. Achilles will die today!" Vaatu roared attacking him but he dodged with ease before striking him with the Nemean Cestus making him fly back before Thor smashed his hammer down on him.
"Crawl back to Shadow you stinking worm!" Ra yelled blasting his staff at him making him roar in pain.
Poseidon summoned the power of water from the area before attacking Vaatu.
"I will not be stopped this time. DO YOU HEAR ME RAAVA!" Vaatu roared before she appeared on Korra's front.
"Raava." Korra said seeing her for the first time.
"Korra, you can still send him to the realm of the dead the same way Wan sealed Vaatu here. With the gods aiding you victory is assured." Raava said making her nod before Korra went into the Avatar state.
Sean roared as he slammed his fist down on Vaatu before Ares slashed him down making Vaatu laugh.
"Former enemies joining together to fight me? You two must be desperate." Vaatu mocked.
"SHUT UP!" Sean roared before wrapping his chain around him before slamming him into the ground constantly.
Hades smashed him down hard before Helios blasted light at him making Vaatu roar.
"I WILL NOT BE STOPPED AGAIN!" Vaatu yelled before attacking Sean with his tendrils but he dodged with ease before grabbing one and slammed him down hard.
"You will never destroy our world!" Odin roared blasting him back making Vaatu roar.
Korra quickly rushed in before using the four elements to seal Vaatu again just like Wan did so long ago.

"NOOO!" Vaatu roared before a portal to Hel opened up.
"Get him through that gate!" Baldur yelled as the souls of the dead began to drag him in.
"It's over Vaatu. Not even you can escape from there." Raava said making him laugh which concerned her.
"I may no longer see the material world again. But there is something I can do...TAKE AWAY WHAT SHE LOVES MOST!" Vaatu roared before his Tendrils broke free before speeding towards Sean before.
"URGH!" Sean groaned as blood flew in the air.
Korra widened her eyes in complete horror as her whole body froze in complete shock.
Sean groaned as blood escaped his mouth as in Vaatu's tendrils was his beating heart outside his body.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Who would have ever thought a Demon would ever have a heart. LET ALONE ONE SO UTERLY BROKEN!" Vaatu roared before destroying it.
"NOOO!" Korra screamed rushing to her husband as he fell to his knees before she caught him.
Sean screamed in agonizing pain as the others rushed to him.
"No." Zeus said in horror while Vaatu laughed making him growl.
"All you can do now Zeus is watch as your precious son your greatest legacy dies by my hand! His destiny has been averted greater than even Ares ever could attempt." Vaatu laughed as the portal closed.
"Sean, please." Korra begged as he coughed up a blob of blood making her sob as she held her dying husband. "I'm so sorry. It's all my fault!" Korra cried.
"He ain't dead yet!" Turok yelled as they carried him away.
"MOVE!" Reznov yelled as they rushed past the men to the Spirit portal.

Later
Korra laid beside her husband as a group of doctors tried to keep him alive as tears ran down her eyes.
She was currently speaking with her past lives trying to see if there was something she could do.
"Please...There has to be something I can do." Korra begged as Aang placed a hand on her shoulder.
"We're all very Sorry Korra. But theres nothing that we can do to help." Aang said making her cry as he held her.
"We're all truly Sorry Korra. But the best you can do as be by his side before his time comes." Kyoshi said sadly.
Wan however remained silent throughout all this.
"Don't you at least have anything to say?" Korra asked.
"Honestly no because I have no idea what your going through." Wan said sadly.
"What are you talking about?" Korra asked.
"Korra, I never married anyone in my time when I became the Avatar unlike all the others that came after me." Wan said shocking her.
"You...You never had a family?" Korra asked.
"No wife...No kids...I just did my duty as the Avatar. I'm sorry I can't help you in any way. But like the others said. You should just remain at his side...Before his time comes." Wan said before the connection ended.
Korra opened her eyes seeing her husband still alive but she could see the life fading making her cry as she held his face.
"I'm so sorry." Korra cried.
"Shhh." Sean said holding her face. "This is not your fault. Unalaq did this and he paid with his life." Sean said trying to comfort her as she sobbed loudly before the doctors had to make her leave before she walked out to the others as they waited.
"Well?" Turok asked as Jinora held him.
"He...Doesn't have much time." Korra cried before he mother held her.
"Korra, It's gonna be ok." Senna said.
"No its not." Korra cried as her parents held her before Deimos walked in the room seeing the doctors treat him.
"Out!" Deimos yelled getting them to leave.
"Not gonna scold your big brother...Are ya?" Sean asked weakly trying to crack a joke making him smile lightly.
"Hardly." Deimos said before sitting next to him. "How do you feel?" Deimos asked.
"Do I really need...To answer that? I knew one day...I would have to pay...For all my sins. I just...Wish I could have spent...More time with Korra." Sean said knowing she was gonna be devastated. The reason the other gods couldn't help was because they had to make sure Vaatu never escaped from Hel.
"You really love her don't you?" Deimos asked.
"I would die for her. That was my job...When we first met. To protect and train her for 13 years...Until we started dating last year...After Amon was killed...And my full past was shown. She still loved me regardless of what I did." Sean said making him smile lightly. "I just wish I could have had a family with her before I died." Sean said knowing she wanted that the most.
Deimos sighed before he left.
Walking outside he saw Korra being comforted by her parents as she sobbed before he closed his eyes.
"Korra." Deimos said gaining her attention before he placed a hand where his heart was. "Take mine." Deimos said shocking her and everyone else.
"Deimos...You just got your life back." Tenzin said.
"And he saved me from a fate worse than what Vaatu's going through. I lived for 300 years in Thanatos's domain tortured every day. And he saved my life. It's time I repay the favor." Deimos said before they heard vomiting inside making the doctors rush inside as Sean leaned over the side to vomit out his own blood.
"If we're gonna do this we need to do it now." The head doctor said making Deimos nod before sitting on the bed over as Korra held his hand.
"Thank you." Korra said making him nod before he closed his eyes.
3 days later
Sean slowly opened his eyes feeling better than he he did prior before looking to his right seeing Korra resting her head on his side making him smile lightly as his hand played with her hair making her stir in her sleep before looking up seeing him awake making her smile before tears ran down her eyes and pulled him into a hug.
"Your alive." Korra said holding him.
"Yeah...I'm gonna asume...My father did something." Sean said making her frown pulling back shaking her head no.
"No...Deimos saved you. Gave his heart for you...So you could live." Korra said making him sigh as she held his face. "I'm so sorry. He gave his life up for you for saving him." Korra said.
"Now I really am the last of my family." Sean said.
"No. You have me...And everyone else outside. Thats all that matters to me." Korra said before kissing him as he kissed back before she got in his bed laying next to him.
"I love you." Sean said holding her as she held him.
"I love you too." Korra said as they laid there for a while.
The others waited outside before Korra finally walked out with a smile.
"Well?" Tenzin asked.
"He's awake and finally recovering." Korra said making them sigh in relief.
"You know I just realized this. Jinora how did you end getting captured in the first place?" Turok asked.
"Wan Shi Tong was working with Unalaq and helped him capture me." Jinora said.
"Excuse me." Zeus asked angered.
"Called him the Demon several times." Jinora said making him frown.
"I see." Zeus said before leaving.
Meanwhile
"HMPH! If only Unalaq had succeeded in eradicating most of human kind." Tong said looking through his books.
"Is that so?" Zeus asked making him gasp in shock.
"Lord Zeus! Forgive me but I..." Tong tried to say before Zeus blasted him making him yell in pain.
"Because of your actions I have lost my son Deimos. And nearly cost the life of my son Sean." Zeus said.
"He is a demon! Demons are meant to be put down." Tong said.
"I would think you would want his death avoided for who he truly is. You would know his true name had Ares not interfered with the timeline." Zeus said.
"And who was he originally?" Tong asked.
"Achilles." Zeus said making his eyes widen in shock.
"My lord please! I did not know!" Tong said backing up into a corner.
"It matters not. For your crimes against humanity...Your punishment...Is DEATH!" Zeus said as Tong roared in agonizing pain before dying. "I will see to it that Athena and Thoth have your collection of knowledge to benefit mankind." Zeus said vanishing.
A week later
After the whole incident was over the world was back to normal again. Tonraq of course was made chief of southern water Tribe after the whole incident severing ties with the Northern Water Tribe for independence.
Eska and Desna were now the new chiefs of the Northern water Tribe and apologized for everything that happened. Of course Reznov still called them horrible human beings and told Eska she was the worst and not even his people would date or fuck her. (I couldn't resist)
And of course Raiko took a major blow to his reputation once more since he refused to help and word got out about him trying to have Sean killed which now made him look like a horrible human being to everyone in the world making him furious.
And then finally the barrier that separated this world from the rest was brought down allowing people from Greece, Norse, Egypt and many other countries and nations to travel freely to these lands.
Right now however.
Sean and Korra along with the others were once more back in the land of the giants as Sean scattered the ashes of his brother like he did to his family the first time.
"You okay?" Korra asked her husband.
"Yeah...I'll be fine. I have you and the others...Thats all I need." Sean said making her smile before kissing him.
"Lets go." Korra said leading him to the others.
"So...I'm gonna assume your gonna close the Spirit portals?" Sean asked making her stop and face him.
"Actually...No. Wan only did it to make sure no one would ever get to Vaatu and free him and wanted to stop the needless violence between man and spirits. But now...Vaatu's in Hel and the Spirits are finally free from his evil. So I decided to keep them open." Korra said making him smile before kissing her.
"You just proved my point that you would be just as great as the first Avatar. I couldn't be more proud of you." Sean said making her smile holding him before they walked back to the others ready to go home when Korra suddenly stopped.
"Korra?" Tonraq said.
"Could...You all give us a minute alone?" Korra asked.
"Of course." Tenzin said as they all left before the two sat down.
"You ok?" Sean asked.
"Yeah...I'm fine but...I thought I really lost you this time." Korra said.
"I know. But I'm still here because of my brother's sacrifice. I'm not leaving you." Sean said holding her.
"I know but...While you were being treated...I tried to see if Aang or the other Past Avatars could help. Thats when I learned Wan never even had a family. No wife...No Kids. It was the saddest thing I ever heard." Korra said.
"Sometimes we take our responsibilities so serious theres no time for anything else. But thats not whats bugging you." Sean said.
"I was so scared I was gonna lose you for good. And have nothing of you to remember you by. I..." Korra tried to say before he kissed her.
"Korra. What are trying to say? You can tell me anything. No matter what." Sean said making her smile as tears came to her eyes before grabbing his hands placing them on her stomach.
"I wanna have a baby." Korra said making him look at her before a smile came to his face before kissing her again.
"Whatever you want...I will always give. Especially this." Sean said making her cry as she held him close.
"I love you." Korra said in his chest.
"I love you too. And you'll be a great mother." Sean said.
"And you'll be a great father." Korra said holding him.
"Hey." Turok said gaining their attention. "I don't want to interrupt whatever you two are talking about but we should really get going. Don't wanna miss the celebration party in Asgard for defeating Unalaq and Vaatu." Turok said making them smile as Sean helped her up. "You two good?" Turok asked.
"Yeah...We're perfectly fine." Sean said as Korra smiled holding him close while her other hand was placed on her stomach.
It was time for a new generation of Kruger's to come to this world.
Authors Note: Holy crap this was long! This was probably one of most epic chapters I made in this story period since the final battle just called for so much action and drama. Now the next few chapters have nothing to do with Season 3 since the effects of Harmonic convergence won't take place in say...7 months. Plenty of time for Sean and Korra to get ready for parenthood before someone tries to kidnap Korra in her current state which adds more excitement and worries. Read, Review, Fav and Follow.
