The REV-9 charged at them.
Once the enemy was close enough, John attempted to hit it with his staff, but missed.
Grace swung her chain and grazed the enemy's face with the hook, allowing John to hit it with a broad swing to the left.
The blow sent the REV-9 crashing backwards into a concrete wall.
John ran forward and tried to bludgeon it again, but missed.
Grace swung her chain in a wide arc, using the hook as an impact weapon, which knocked the REV-9 against a concrete pillar.
Once again, John tried to hit it, but the REV-9 was too fast.
The enemy brought out one of it's spikes and slashed John behind his right leg.
Thankfully, the blow was a failure thanks to John's armor.
Using his bare left hand, John punched the REV-9 in the face and sent it crashing to the floor.
The REV-9 recovered and threw John backwards, causing him to lose his staff.
The REV-9 then charged at Grace.
Grace used her chain to block the enemy's attacks, but it proved useless as she was quickly impaled by a metal spike.

The REV-9 quickly recovered and charged again.
Karen was able to dodge a few more attacks before receiving a kick to the body and face, causing her to fall over.
The REV-9 formed two of it's handheld stabbing pikes and attempted to attack.
But, using her sonic boost, Karen quickly rolled away and escaped.
After that, she twisted her body, stood up on both hands, and kicked with both legs, sending the REV-9 crashing into a concrete pillar.
The REV-9 recovered and lunged at her.
Karen jumped up and did a hurricane kick, slamming her opponent against another wall.
Upon doing so, she quickly closed the distance, grabbed the REV-9 by the collar of it's jumpsuit, and began slamming it into the floor again and again.
After about the 8th slam, the REV-9 managed to kick Karen away.
Then, it got up and and attempted to charge at the others.
Reacting quickly, Karen pulled out her Taurus Judge shotgun revolver and ran parallel to the REV-9 while shooting.

With the push of a button, the revolver transformed into a 3-foot long, two-handed baton with a heavy weighted tip!

Karen spun around, stood up quickly, swung towards her right, and hit the REV-9 on the side of it's head causing to topple backwards, head over heels, to the floor.
Before the REV-9 could even stand up, Karen was already on top of it.
She swung upwards and hit it on the side of the head again.
The impact sent the REV-9 flying backwards and crashing into the concrete wall.
She closed the distance and hit it again.
When she went for another strike, the REV-9 avoided it and moved backwards.

The REV-9 attempted to counterattack by changing it's left arm into a weapon.

The REV-9 then tried to use it's right arm.

When the smoke cleared, Karen used her scanner and saw that none of her friends and allies were caught in the blast.
She heard a clanking and saw the REV-9 approaching.
But it was badly damaged.
Karen threw it down a large maintenance shaft.
The REV-9 could only watch as Karen's right arm transformed into a plasma laser cannon.

Karen walked back to John who had finally recovered from his wounds.
