Chapter 43 After All these years

It's been 3 years since Sean died and came back to life due to Spyro's sacrifice to save his friend for his family.

In that time the world had come together to bring forth a new age of peace, unity and prosperity the likes of which have never been seen.

After that incident Sean and Korra with their children moved back to the South Pole to raise their family and get away from Raiko.

His assault on Sean had completely damaged his reputation beyond repair and his death was coming closer because of his actions much to his concern as he tried to find a way around this.

Due to the fact the Earth Kingdom was in chaos for the last 3 years it gave him a reason to stay in office longer much to people's anger since they saw past his lies now.

As for the Northern water Tribe however Theseus was now in charge since it was his element and made sure the people were well taken care of.

As for the Airbenders after the destruction of the Northern Airtemple they were currently located on Airtemple island as a new temple was being built by the Giants since it was their specialty. And who was building this new wall. Why the Great Stone mason Giant Thamur's son Hrimthur. (He's not dead in this story like the Video game)

And to honor Sean and Korra's bravery over the years A statue was built in Republic City's park now named after her.

As for her husband his statue was the same size as Aang's for his selfless sacrifice to save his family from his inner now dead demon holding the Blade of Olympus stabbed down.

The others had grown up considerably. Even Turok now aging again to properly date Jinora who was now 15 years old. (Remember unlike in Cannon everyone is a year older now than in season 4)

And now Mako and Asami were now engaged which unsurprisingly made Bolin very excited.

The group of course visited Sean and Korra and their children over the years.

Sean has completely healed from his battle with his demon again but his warrior spirit was still gone but he didn't seem to care as he raised his family which was all he needed much to Korra's happiness seeing her Husband happy again after the loss of his best friend.

Speaking of whom another Statue was created in honor of Spyro for his great sacrifice on Airtemple island to motivate the airbenders that one day they too may need to make a great sacrifice.

Currently right now though Raiko was giving a speech.

"And of course, my biggest thanks goes to Asami Sato and Future Industries. She brought our old central terminal into the modern era. Ladies and gentlemen the world is entering a new age of peace and prosperity thanks to the efforts and sacrifice of Kruger who I wish was here today to thank him and his wife for their efforts." Raiko said.

"Bullshit." Reznov said Turok who nods.

"Soon, prince Wu will take his rightful place on the Earth Kingdom throne, and thanks to our updated rail system, Republic City and the Earth Kingdom will be united like never before." Raiko said as Asami cut a red line as the people cheered for her.

Soon the crowd dispersed.

"I fucking hate that asshole." Turok said snarling at Raiko.

"Calm down." Jinora said holding his face. "I know your still pissed for him attacking your brother when he was in a wheelchair. He'll be suffering soon enough." Jinora said kissing him making him smile.

"Theres a happy thought." Turok said making them both laugh.

"So have you heard from him lately?" Jinora asked.

"No...But Korra did send a letter saying she and her family were coming back to the city to move back in. It'll be nice to see him and the kids again. I swear Katara almost looks exactly like her mother save for the eyes." Turok said making her laugh. It was a running joke in the family calling Katara a Korra look alike. If it wasn't for the eyes of her father she really would look exactly like her mother.

Thats when they walked up to Mako and Asami.

"It'll be nice to see Korra and Sean again after 7 months. And I'm sure the kids will enjoy some warm weather for a change." Asami said making Turok chuckle remembering the snowball fight he got into with Junior and Atreus while Katara laughed at the whole thing.

"I'll bet. You heard from Bolin? I'm sure he'll want to see them again." Turok said.

"I haven't talked to him a while. I'm sure he'll be here for the coronation." Mako said.

"That fucker doesn't even deserve to be alive. I'd say he's even worse than his fucking great aunt bitch." Turok said seeing Wu posing for a crowd making his eyes twitch. "I'd rather have ANYONE else on the throne at this point. Even a Dai Li agent." Turok said.

"Oh god don't go there." Jinora said before seeing Wu talk to the President and the others.

"The united forces will escort you to Ba Sing Se." Tenzin said.

"Right, About that. Are we all positive that the Earth Kingdom is safe enough for me to return? I don't have to remind everyone what happened to my great Aunt three years ago? May she Rest In Peace." Wu said.

"She can rest in hel for all I care." Reznov said.

"How dare you. My Aunt was a great woman." Wu said before Reznov grabbed and glared.

"You call a woman who tried to kidnap Kruger's wife to take her unborn children and turn them and him into living weapons a great woman?" Reznov asked making him sweat.

"Um...Ok she was horrible I admit." Wu said before Reznov dropped him.

"You are a worthless Dumbass. I'd rather see Kuvira on the throne." Reznov said.

That was another thing. Kuvira had left the Metal clan and began a campaign to unite the Earth Kingdom once again after the chaos Zaheer and caused. Her tactics were...Similar to Sean's during his days as a Spartan Captain minus the killing part. But she was getting some progress.

Meanwhile

On a railway was a train that was traveling all over the Earth Kingdom.

This was Kuvira's train and inside was her, Varrick. Zhu-Li, Baatar Jr and Bolin who was coming with a report.

"I got some good news. Two more Earth Kingdom states have agreed to join us." Bolin said.

"Excellent. Thank you, Bolin. We're 90% there, Kuvira." Baatar said.

"Thats great! Zhu-Li, Dish out some of that special celebration Tea." Varrick said getting her to do that as she handed some to Kuvira.

"None for me. I won't celebrate until the Earth Kingdom is 100% Reunited." Kuvira said before the Train stopped before one of her soldiers approached her. "Why are we stopping?"

"Apologies, there are rocks on the tracks. It's most likely bandits. We're sending troops to handle the situation."

"Call them off. I will take core of the bandits myself." Kuvira said.

And in no time at all she had defeated them like they were children.

In the three years since Ares plan to have Sean killed off failed because of Spyro she proved herself as a powerful bender.

She had at one point asked Sean to be one of her commanders having heard the legends of his days as a spartan Captain but he rejected her proposal saying all he wanted was to spend time with his children not wanting to remember his past of something he did centuries ago.

She understood his reasons and respected it but left the offer open if he ever changed his mind which he did not.

Soon enough the train got back to its destination arriving at small state that was rich with ore.

When Bolin got off however.

"Well...If it isn't the Lava bender." Julia said making him face her seeing Julia, Kai and Opal.

"Guys!" Bolin said rushing to them before hugging his girlfriend.

"It's been a few months since we last saw you." Julia said.

"So what are you guys doing here?" Bolin asked.

"We were trying to help get this place some food and supplies...But the bandits took it from the bison. I miss Spyro. He would never let that happen." Julia said making them hold their heads down.

"Yeah I know. Have you guys heard from Sean and Korra?" Bolin asked.

"Actually yes. Their coming back to Republic City today." Julia said before seeing Kuvira talking to the Governor who looked defeated before signing a piece of Paper. "Welp...I guess he had no choice but to agree to her terms. At least she is keeping the peace." Julia said.

"Come on its not like she's a bad leader. She's...Kinda like Korra." Bolin said.

"I'm not so sure about that." Julia said before they got on the Bison and left.

Later

Arriving at the docks was a Southern Water ship before most of the group were greeted by Korra and her family.

"It's good to see you again Korra." Tenzin said as she hugged him.

"It's good to finally be back." Korra said. She had changed somewhat during the last three years with her hair now being short.

"So where are the little brats?" Reznov asked.

"HEY!" Three little voices yelled annoyed.

The triplets appeared behind their mother giving Reznov an annoyed look making him chuckle.

"There you are." Reznov said.

"Your not very nice uncle Reznov." Katara said.

"Oh I was just kidding. Come Give your uncle a hug." Reznov said making her smile before running to him as he picked her up. "I swear she looks just like you." Reznov said making Korra giggle.

Also all three had the necklaces Turok gave Korra for her shower three years ago. Junior had the lion because he was fierce when it came to protecting his younger siblings. Atreus had the Wolf since he was loyal to his friends and family. He was also the curious one when it came to knowledge. And Katara had the Dolphin since she was very kind to everyone she met.

"I'll bet my brother is glad to be back home away from the snow." Turok said making Korra frown.

"What do you mean by that? Isn't he already here?" Korra asked confusing them.

"No...Why would he?" Turok asked making her look at her parents.

"Sean left the South pole about six months ago saying he was coming here to ask Tenzin help him regain his warrior spirit. We haven't heard from him since then." Tonraq said.

"Korra, I assure you Sean hasn't been in Republic city at all. And he never reached out to me for help." Tenzin said.

"But...If he's not here...Where is he?" Korra asked concerned.

Meanwhile

In the Earth Kingdom swamp a figure breathed heavily as blood ran down his chest.

The person in question was Sean who for a lack of a batter term looked worse than he ever has.

Half of his muscles had decreased and his body was covered in fresh scars including one on his right eye. (Basically the same scar Kratos has)

For the last six months Sean had tried everything to regain his warrior spirit.

For the first two and half years since he was revived by his best friend Sean had been content with his life of no longer fighting.

He had everything he wanted. A wife he loved and three beautiful children he loved with all his heart.

But six months ago he had a nightmare of him losing them by someone's hand because he could no longer fight.

Making a decision to regain his warrior spirit he had lied to Korra about going to Tenzin to regain it.

How he hated himself so much for lying to her but he felt he needed to do this alone.

But nothing worked.

Everything he had tried backfired and only got himself wounded.

Collapsing to his knees he fell to the ground.

The once proud and unbeatable Spartan and Son of Zeus was nothing more but a story to be told.

Groaning his eyes started to close before seeing a figure above him just as he lost conscience.

Hours later

Sean slowly woke up with a groan seeing he was in some tree before sitting up.

"Finally Awake?"

Sean turned to see some old woman but couldn't see very good because fo the lack of light.

"Where am I? What happened?" Sean asked.

"I was hoping you could tell me. I found you passed out in the mud."

"How the hell did you know I was out there?" Sean asked.

"I'm pretty tapped into the Goings-on around here. What brings you to the swamp, anyway?"

"Trying to regain what I lost. Nothing's working. I failed." Sean said in regret.

"How someone like you ended up the Avatar's husband is beyond me."

"How do you know who my wife is? Who the fuck are you?" Sean asked.

"Kinda hard not to know. I was good friends with her past life."

Sean narrowed his eyes before creating fire in his hand before looking at her.

"No way...Toph Beifong?" Sean asked seeing Lin and Suyin's mother who chuckled.

"Nice to finally meet ya muscle head." Toph said.

Authors Note: And with that Season 4 finally kicks off. Kinda short I know but it'll get more interesting next Chapter. So Sean's trying to regain his warrior spirit after a nightmare he had of losing all he had gained. And Now we meet one of the last two members of the original Team Avatar from during the hundred year war. It's sad we don't know what happened to the others but oh well. Oh and to Sora as to what you do that pisses me off. When I do your requests you say I ruined them even if I did them regardless. When I do something no one else cares about you say I disgust you for no reason. And I don't give a shit about swearing we're not kids and it's stupid to get upset about that. Stop throwing a fit over things no one else cares about It's just YOU and I'm sick of it.
