Chapter 46 The Most difficult Thing
Sean and his group on Jinora's Sky Bison flew to the Metal clan hoping to get there in time before Kuvira.
"When we get there...What are you gonna do exactly? You can't fight anymore." Jinora said.
"Try to convince her not to repeat my mistakes. I fucked up big time in those days and I didn't even care until that day in the temple." Sean said.
"I don't Kuvira is someone you can just convince to just stop." Ikki said.
"I have to try. Tell her she's repeating my mistakes and beg her not to continue making them. I have to." Sean said before Korra held him.
"Everything's gonna be fine Sean. I promise." Korra said making him nod.
"I see it. Zaofu." Meelo said.
"Good." Sean said before they cleared the mountains before seeing Kuvira's army.
"And a bunch of other people are here too." Meelo said.
"Oh crap. We didn't make it in time." Sean said.
"I hope we're not too late." Korra said.
Soon the five made it to Suyin's office.
"Sean? Korra? What are you two doing here?" Suyin asked surprised.
"I had a vision last night about Kuvira attacking and I was right. We're here to help stop her." Sean said.
"How? Sean you can't fight anymore." Suyin said.
"Doesn't mean I can't try to convince her to stop this." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Varrick was on Kuvira's train in his lab with a film recorder.
"Zhu-Li, is this thing on?" Varrick asked.
"We're rolling, sir." Zhu-Li said.
"Okay, I'm Varrick of Varrick industries international, and this is spirit vine experiment 3-02 of which we retrieved from Republic City without Raiko's knowledge. Hand me the thing." Varrick said getting her to hand him one of the spirit vines in a capsule before putting it into a machine.
"In this stasis Capsule is a preserved spirit vine sample weighing approximately two Zhu-Lis." Varrick said before turning on the machine. I have postulated that these spirit vines are a form of pure energy that's unstable in what we call typical earth conditions." Varrick said as the capsule glowed purple. "This machine should transfer the energy from the vine into a battery using electrical currents, reverse magnetic polarity, and a little-known phenomenon I call the Varri-effect." Varrick said seeing the results.
"It's working. It's registering five Varricks of power...Now seven Varricks." Varrick said before things started to get out of control with way too much power.
"WHOA. What is this? Whats going on?" Varrick asked. (you've just created something as bad as a nuke! You Madman!)
Thats when Purple lightning shot out at them making them scream.
"Zhu-Li shut it down! There are too many Varricks." Varrick said before a beam of pure energy shot out at the back of the train hitting the mountain.
Inside Suyin's office the whole place shook.
"Whoa! What the fuck was that?" Sean asked.
"That was no earthquake thats for sure." Suyin said.
"Whatever it was I'm sure It's Varrick's fault." Sean said.
Inside the train Zhu-li was on top of Varrick before she saw their position and chuckled sheepishly.
"Sorry." Zhu-Li said before Kuvira and Baatar rushed in.
"What in the hell did you do?" Kuvira asked.
"I have no idea. I was trying to extract the energy from the spirit vines but than this happened. But don't worry. I'm putting the Kibosh on this project." Varrick said shutting the capsules down.
"No, your not. Do you realize what we can do with this kind of power?" Kuvira asked.
"Yes, I do. And thats why we've got to out an end to it. What if it fell into the wrong hands? Like Ares?" Varrick said making her raise an eyebrow at that.
"Ok I'll admit thats a good point. But Ares isn't allowed to interfere with the lives of mortals anymore. Not after his last stunt 3 years ago for making Kruger kill himself to kill his inner demon. But if he does interfere this will be the perfect weapon to use against a god." Kuvira said.
"No way. I just really got to stand my ground on this one. Thats what the voice in my head is telling me." Varrick said before the metal on his shoulders went to his neck lifting him up. "WHOA!"
"Now there's a voice in my head telling me to drop you from a really high and dangerous height. Should I listen?" Kuvira asked holding him up outside at a high height. (HAHAHA! Now this I laughed at)
"NO! NO! Head voices are liars. What do head voices know? I'll work on the project. Please don't drop me!" Varrick said before the threw him back inside.
"Good." Kuvira said.
Later
Sean stood next to Suyin as they were outside the estate where Suyin had taught Korra to Earth Bend during her pregnancy with Junior, Atreus and Katara.
"How did things get so bad between you and Kuvira? I thought she was your prized protege?" Sean said.
"She was more than that. She was like a daughter to me. I took her in when she was eight years old and nourished her talents. Kuvira was smart, a natural leader like you during the old days. She quickly rose through the ranks. I saw myself in her." Suyin said.
"So what the hell happened you have some kind of falling out?" Sean asked.
"Sorta but not the way your probably thinking. After Zaheer was put in a new prison and you and Korra went back to the South Pole...Raiko and Tenzin came to me to ask me to temporarily lead the Earth Kingdom for a short while until an official leader could be put on the throne. Wu was the only one left of that linage and well...You can see how quickly the fame went to his head. He was no different than the Queen only caring about himself." Suyin said making him snort.
"No shit. Personally I actually agreed with Zaheer's Ideology of no leaders like them. The world needs responsible leaders which is why the Gods are taking a more personal role in training those leaders. A leader who's only interest benefits him or herself is bad enough but a fool who cares more about fame and acts the way he did is an even more dangerous leader." Sean said.
"True. But when I refused Kuvira and some of the others of the Metal Clan including Varrick left to establish order. Thats when I noticed she was using your tactics and grew concerned." Suyin said.
"Where exactly did she learn about my old tactics?" Sean asked.
"From old books. I recall Amon mentioned story tellers arrived long before you became Korra's protector and told your stories. Once she refused to step down I knew it would only be a matter of time before she made her way back here. And considering what Wu did to your children...Others will support her even more especially since you even said you supported her before learning what she was actually doing to unite the Earth Kingdom." Suyin said making him frown.
"Look I want to fix this but I can't fight anymore. But if she does know my history and she's using my old tactics maybe she'll at least listen to me. I don't want Korra to get dragged into a fight. She's changed since I died and came back. The old her would have been ready for a fight. The current her not so much." Sean said knowing his death affected her just as it did him.
"If you think it can actually help be my guest." Suyin said as he left while she frowned already planning something.
Arriving back in the room he and Korra spent in for months during her pregnancy he found her already asleep making him smile before removing his clothes before getting in bed with her before she turned around and held him.
"You ok?" Korra asked half asleep.
"Yeah...I just need to make sure Kuvira sees what she's doing is wrong. If I turned away from that path...So can she." Sean said kissing her before both fell asleep.
Next morning
Varrick was stuck in his lab like a rat and he was going crazy.
"I can't believe Kuvira locked me in here like a prisoner. I'm not feeling well. I think I'm running out of air. Zhu-Li Hold your breath." Varrick said.
"I'm not holding my breath." Zhu-Li said making some tea.
"Great! Now we're both gonna die." Varrick said.
"Varrick. Varrick."
"Augh, and the head voices are back!" Varrick panicked before Zhu-Li pointed up making him look up seeing Bolin coming out of a hatch. "Bolin, thank goodness you're here. Where did that Hatch come from? Forget the Hatch! There's something important I've got to tell ya." Varrick said.
"Well, there's something important I've got to tell you too." Bolin said jumping down before they both grabbed each other.
"Kuvira's Crazy!" They both yelled shocking each other they both said that perfectly together.
"How'd you find out?" Bolin asked.
"When I refused to build her a super weapon, she threatened my life." Varrick said.
"She threatened me too, and she's threatening Zaofu. And it turns out she's been threatening villages this whole time. We've got to get out of here." Bolin said.
Meanwhile
Kuvira was talking with her soldiers.
"Kuvira we have an important Guest." Baatar said getting her attention seeing Sean.
"Kruger, I didn't realize you were here." Kuvira said.
"I didn't come for a mere visit. I came to talk and no not about that offer before you say anything." Kuvira said making her chuckle.
"I guess I should expect that by now." Kuvira said.
"I'm asking you not to invade the Metal Clan Just take your army and leave." Sean said.
"I think we both know that's not going to happen." Kuvira said.
"You can't seriously tell me your completely ok with invading the place you grew up in." Sean said.
"It's nothing personal really. I was tasked with bringing stability to the Earth Kingdom. Zaofu is the last hold out." Kuvira said.
"And you've been using my old tactics." Sean said making her grin.
"So you know huh? Hence why I wanted you to join us. It's one thing to study the tactics of someone who only faced one near defeat almost 400 years ago. It's another to view it first hand." Kuvira said.
"Kuvira I gave up those tactics and that lifestyle for a reason. It cost me everything. I was drunk with power no differently than what your doing. Always told myself it was for my nation and people. I lied to myself for months before I faced Alrik and nearly suffered the end of my perfect carrier and my life." Sean said.
"I know what happened. You called out to Ares at that moment and you got those blades." Kuvira said seeing the Blades of Chaos on his back.
"And believe me I made a lot of mistakes when I took that path. I didn't care back then who I killed or the most inhuman murders I committed...But that decision later cost me everything I cared about." Sean said.
"How? You conquered an country. Wheres the downside in that?" Kuvira asked.
"Because I lost my family because of my actions. There are consequences to actions like ours. It may not happen now but believe me...They will catch up to us eventually." Sean said making her frown.
"Look I can't just turn away when I'm so close to finally uniting my people. I admit some of my tactics are...Harsh. But I did bring the Earth empire together. Sometimes leadership requires making a tough call. You of all people should know that." Kuvira said.
"Granted. But this is your home. Suyin took you in when no one else would. Nurtured your talents and made you who you are. She even admitted you were a natural leader and saw herself in you. Don't you think you owe her and this place?" Sean said making her look away.
"Well...When you put it like that...I'll hold off any plans for a while as I think this through. I at least owe her that much." Kuvira said making him nod before leaving.
Later
"Well?" Korra asked her husband.
"I think I might have actually gotten through to her." Sean said making her smile before they walked to Baatar Senior.
"Have you seen Suyin? We have to talk to her." Korra said.
"She's not here. She took the boys to sneak into her camp and end this." Baatar Senior said shocking them.
"You gotta be kidding me! I just convinced Kuvira not to attack!" Sean said pissed off.
Meanwhile
Suyin and her sons were outside the base where Kuvira was before coming up a tree.
"Are you sure this will work? Even without Kuvira, they could still crush us." Wei said.
"While a majority about 80% serve her willingly the other 20% obey out of fear. When Sean left the Spartan army after that day at the temple his forces were in complete disarray for a couple years. It'll have the same effect here if she's taken out." Suyin said.
They snuck into the base before finding a dome protected by armed guards in Mecha Suits.
Slamming her foot on the ground she sensed the vibrations ahead of her to see if she was inside which she was.
"She's in there alone." Suyin said before they used earthbending to tunnel in.
When they made it in they restrained her before taking the sheets off.
Only to see it wasn't her but Zhu-Li.
"Don't hurt me." Zhu-Li said.
"Zhu-Li?" Suyin asked surprised before alarms went off and the dome came down before they were surrounded and Kuvira appeared.
"Fun fact. Kruger was also targeted this way by the people of Argos 400 years ago cause they acted out of fear thinking he was going to attack their pathetic city. He wasn't planning on it but their actions forced his hand and his forces completely destroyed Argos. I knew you would try the same thing here." Kuvira said making her frown. "You want to know the Irony of your actions? I was actually going to leave Zaofu alone after Kruger came to talk to me. But now...You've basically forced my hand." Kuvira said.
"Why is Zhu-Li here?" Suyin asked.
"Oh you didn't know? She, Bolin and Varriick attempted to escape after some small things. She however pledged her life to me." Kuvira said making her frown.
Meanwhile
"Sean, you have to stop Su before she does something terrible." Jinora said.
"The hell am I supposed to do?" Sean asked. "I can't fight anymore. How many times I gotta say this?"
"Stop her? We should be helping her!" Opal said.
"We have no idea where your mom is or what he plan is. If we go charging into Kuvira's camp, we could get them all captured or worse. All we can do now is wait." Korra said.
Thats when the loudspeakers turned on.
"Attention, citizens of Zaofu. Your lead, Su Beifong, attempted to attack me tonight while I slept, despite the fact I was going to leave her city be after Kruger made the request. I now have her and her assault team in custody." Kuvira said.
"No." Opal said.
"Rest assured that I will not take revenge on the peaceful citizens of Zaofu, as long as your remaining representatives meet me outside the city at dawn to offer the full and unconditional surrender of your city. That is all." Kuvira said.
"Korra, you can't let Kuvira get away with this. We have to go break out my mom and my brothers." Opal said.
"You swore an oath of nonaggression when you became an airbender. You can't just attack Kuvira." Jinora said making her scoff.
"Oh thats rich. Would you do the same if Turok's life was on the line." Opal said.
"Thats not fair." Jinora said.
"Enough!" Sean said stopping them. "Look...We'll go to Kuvira Tomorrow and try to talk this out. I'm not gonna turn the place into a war zone and neither would Suyin for her sake. She was acting out of fear. I know this tactic. The People of Argos did the same thing to me 400 years ago thinking I was going to attack their city." Sean said.
"Were you?" Opal asked.
"No. Argos back then was run by a lousy king and his methods of governing were laughable. I had no interest at first in attacking until he sent his best assassins to kill me in my own camp thinking he would be feared for his accomplishment. When that failed yes I attacked but only because they attacked first." Sean said.
"So what do we do?" Korra asked.
"I'm gonna try and talk to Kuvira one last time. She listened once I'm sure she will again." Sean said.
Next day
Sean, Korra, Jinora and Opla stood outside of Zaofu facing Kuvira's army with Suyin and her sons in Pods.
"Let them go." Opal said.
"If Su agrees to bow to me and turn over Zaofu, she and the rest of your family will not be harmed." Kuvira said.
"Never! I'll never bow to you!" Suyin yelled.
"Bowing? Your even worse than I was. I gave my enemies a quick and near painless death. I wasn't interested in stuff like this." Sean said getting pissed off.
"There must be some way for us to resolve this." Korra said.
"I've already laid out my terms, and I think they're very reasonable. After all, Su did try to take me out no different than what Argos tried to do to your husband 400 years ago." Kuvira said.
"Kuvira this is not the same." Sean said annoyed with her thinking they were the same.
"Where's Bolin? I know he would never agree to go along with this." Opal said.
"If you must know he's in a cell where he'll stay until we're done so he can head to a reeducation camp since he and Varrick tried to escape." Kuvira said shocking her.
"Kuvira, Please I am begging you. Stop this nonsense now. You are making the same mistakes I did." Sean said not wanting to see history repeat itself.
"You call uniting my people a mistake? I honestly feel sorry for you. Whatever happened to you 400 years ago has made you soft." Kuvira said making him growl. "Now turn over Zaofu."
"I'm not gonna let you take the city." Korra said.
"Avatar Korra, You are interfering with internal Earth Empire business and letting your personal feelings get in the way of reason. Zaofu cannot continue to rule itself. They have been hoarding their riches and technology too long. I'm here to distribute those resources fairly throughout the nation. This is about equality." Kuvira said.
"Amon said the same bullshit 5 years. Look how that turned out. He was revealed as a liar." Sean said.
"The only way you're going to keep me from marching into Zaofu is if you physically stop me." Kuvira said making Korra sigh.
"It looks like you're not giving me a choice." Korra said making her chuckle. "Whats so funny?" Korra asked annoyed.
"You really expect to stop me in your condition?" Kuvira asked confusing them.
"My condition? What are you talking about?" Korra asked making her laugh.
"Oh this is just rich. You seriously are telling me you came down here to fight me...Not knowing your pregnant again?" Kuvira asked shocking them.
"What?" Korra asked holding her stomach before Sean placed a hand on in.
"Oh no...She's not lying." Sean said sensing some life inside her.
"But..." Korra tried to say.
"From what I'm sensing I would say your at least 2 weeks along." Kuvira said.
"After I got back." Sean said making Korra widen her eyes now afraid for the life of her new unborn child.
"Are you still gonna fight me?" Kuvira asked making Korra step back placing her hands over her stomach protectively.
"No she's not." Sean said stepping up.
"I suppose a different deal is in order. I know you still can't fight so it would make this unfair. How about this. If you can survive for at least 15 minutes in a fight with me...I'll let Zaofu go and release Su and her sons." Kuvira said.
"Sean...You can't. Thats not fair you can't fight anymore." Korra said.
"I can't just sit back and do nothing. I have to do this. All right Kuvira you got a deal. If I survive for that long your army leaves and never comes back." Sean said making her grin.
"Perfect." Kuvira said before she went on the attack using her earthbending but Sean dodged with ease.
"I may not be able to fight anymore but I'm far from helpless." Sean said as he dodged most of her attacks with ease.
Korra however looked at her husband in concern since she never once saw him on the defensive.
"I'm sure he'll be fine." Jinora said trying to calm her down.
Sean grunted as he avoided another strike from Kuvira who looked impressed.
"I guess fighting isn't the only thing your good at doing. It's still a shame you wouldn't join me. But now seeing this...I think I'm doing you a favor." Kuvira said.
"The hell does that mean?" Sean asked before she started launching Metal at him with quick speeds before they attached to his arms before they started twisting around making Sean yell in pain before she held him in the air for before slamming him down making him skid across the ground.
Korra cried out seeing him getting so beaten before Kuvira slammed him down repeatedly before the metal came off.
"And it's only been three minutes." Kuvira said smirking before Sean spat out blood and glared at her.
"Is that all you got?" Sean mocked making her frown before earth bending him in the chest making him grunt in pain before she launched more metal at him which pierced his arms. "AHH!" Sean yelled before he landed by a mountain.
"This is what I meant. Putting you out of your misery." Kuvira said before she pulled the mountain down.
"KUVIRA DON'T!" Suyin yelled in horror as it came down as Sean looked up and widened his eyes before it came crashing down on him.
"NOOOO!" Korra cried out in horror as she fell to her knees while Kuvira's troops cheered
"Oh no." Jinora said rushing to Korra who began to cry.
"Not...Not again." Korra cried as Jinora and Opal held her.
"Trust me I did him a service by putting him out of his misery. As for you." Kuvira said walking to her making her eyes widen in horror.
"You think that makes you unstoppable now? Are you gonna kill a mother and her unborn baby to prove it?" Korra asked.
"Oh no. Nothing so cruel. I'm just gonna hold you captive until you give birth and raise it my way." Kuvira said shocking her. "And considering the fact your kids were born here they are technicily Earth Empire citizens. I'll be taking them back as well." Kuvira said making Korra glare at her as tears ran down her eyes.
Meanwhile

Sean groaned as he found himself in a pure white place.
"Where am I?" Sean asked looking around.
"Big Brother?"
Sean looked down seeing his sister.
"Calliope?" Sean asked crouching down to her as she hugged him which he returned. "Where am I? Please tell me I'm not dead again?" Sean asked not wanting to go through this again.
"No...We just needed to talk." Calliope said.
"We?" Sean asked before seeing someone above them making him look seeing his mother before looking around seeing his entire family making him start to cry before his mother held him.
"Shh. It's ok." Lysandra said comforting her son.
"I am so sorry! I never meant to hurt any of you." Sean said in regret.
"We know. But this isn't about that. You need to fight again." Lysandra said.
"I can't. I lost my warrior spirit when either I died or I lost Spyro who gave up his life for me." Sean said.
"It's not lost. Just overshadowed by fear." Lysandra said making him look up. "It's not fear of dying. It's fear of losing what you have again. You struggled for over 300 years to regain what you had lost. And when you finally had it again you made the ultimate sacrifice and lost it all again. Thats what your afraid of. Losing what you have and thats part of the reason it's overshadowed." Lysandra said.
"Whats the other?" Sean asked.
"What you did in the past. Even though the visions are gone and the nightmares your still chained to the past of what Ares made you do. And thats the problem. You need to let go of what you did." Lysandra said.
"How can I? All those horrible things I did. The people and children I killed. How do you ever forgive yourself for that?" Sean asked.
"Because we and they forgave you a long time ago. Sean...The most difficult thing a man can do when he's done something like you is forgive himself. You've long since redeemed yourself for what you did. You need to let go of your past. And focus on your future with your new family. For your children." Lysandra said.
"I...I can't." Sean said.
"Yes you can. I have always been proud of you for the man you became since that day. All of us are. But you need to forgive yourself. It's time to let go." Lysandra said making him close his eyes before opening them again seeing them gone before he stood up before looking down seeing the blades of chaos.
Sean took a deep breath before opening his eyes and reached for them.

Meanwhile
Korra continued to cry as Kuvira approached her before Opal and Jinora got in her way.
"Stay away from her." Jinora said making her laugh.
"You really think..." Kuvira tried to say.
(Insert Old Rivals from Godzilla King of the Monsters Soundtrack)
Suddenly the ground began to shake and a wave of great power was sensed.
"What the?" Opal said before the mountain that fell on Sean began to crack apart as did the ground.
"What is this?" Kuvira asked as clouds began to form above them and thunder was heard.
Thats when a glow was seen from inside the collapsed mountain before a faint growling was heard making Kuvira narrow her eyes before the mountain exploded sending the rocks in every direction except Korra's before they looked at the Explosion.
Sean came back with his muscles growing back to their primary condition as his armor cracked apart before he glared at Kuvira who was surprised he survived before he grabbed his blades.
"Oh Kuvira." Sean said making her frown. "Lets try that again." Sean said making her grin.
"Oh I'm supposed to be afraid of a guy who..." Kuvira tried say before Sean dashed at her with insane speed before punching her in the face making her skid back a distance before she got up and glared.
"You were saying? I got what I needed back. And your dead." Sean said glaring at her as lightning struck down around him before shooting at her but she quickly dodged but yelled as a bolt hit her shoulder due to her armor making her growl before throwing it away.
Korra and the others watched amazed as Sean with his warrior spirit back was destroying Kuvira with even greater power than ever before.
"Where the hell did this come from?" Opal asked.
"I...Don't know." Korra said before Sean equipped the Spear of Destiny before striking her but she dodged the first strike before his weapon extended and hit her in the side.
"AHHH!" Kuvira yelled in pain before Sean wrapped his chain around her before swinging her in the ground circling her around before throwing her in the air before pulling her back down making her grunt.
"No ONE threatens my family. Especially not someone who thinks what I did in my younger years was for a good cause." Sean said before grabbing the ground before lifting a large chunk half the size of Airtemple island up making her widen her eyes in shock.
"What...What the?" Kuvira tried to say.
"GIVE ME A REAL FIGHT!" Sean yelled grinning before throwing it at her making her yell as she earth bended it away but still got hit with pieces making her grunt before one cut her cheek making her groan in pain.
Sean held out a hand in the air before lightning rained down on her before striking her.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kuvira screamed in agonizing pain before it stopped as she fell to her knees weakened greatly.

Sean walked to her before pulling out the blade of Olympus before he stood over her making her glare.
"Submit." Sean said.
"I would rather die." Kuvira said making him sigh.
"A shame...Because you will." Sean said before grabbing her and slammed her down on her back before stabbing her in the stomach making her cry out in pain as blood ran down her body.
"It does not have to be this way Kuvira. I still owe you a debt for saving Tonraq three years ago. But this path is of your choosing." Sean said making her growl.
"A choice from a half god is as useless as the gods themselves." Kuvira said making him growl.
"Even as you draw your last breath your arrogance continues to blind you!" Sean roared shoving the blade in further making her grunt in pain. "Everything you have ever known Kuvira will now end because of the path you took. You will never rule the Earth Kingdom. The cycle of power hungry fools like you and me in my dark past ends here." Sean said taking the blade out before it glowed as Sean swung it at her army creating a wave of power that killed everyone who blindly served her while sparing those who followed out of fear.
Kuvira growled before glaring at Sean.
"You will pay for this Kruger. Be certain of that." Kuvira said before coughing up blood as she died.
Sean sighed before he fell to his knees as Korra rushed to him while Jinora and Opal went to Suyin.
"Are you okay?" Korra asked before he looked at her and surprisingly smiled.
"Yeah...I'm good." Sean said as he held her making her smile.
"I thought you lost you again." Korra said.
"I ain't going out like that. Forget it. I am not dying a second time so soon." Sean said making her smile before kissing him
Baatar Jr watched from afar before growling seeing Kuvira's dead body.
"Baatar." Sean said gaining his attention as he walked to him making him widen his eyes.
"What are you gonna do to me? You wouldn't kill my mother's own son." Baatar said making him frown.
"No buddy. I don't do that anymore. Your gonna do something for me." Sean said making him glare.
"And whats that?" Baatar asked.
"Run." Sean said shocking him. "Run away Baatar...And never return. You have lost the right to call this your home and your family." Sean said making him tremble. "GOOOOO!" Sean roared making him run away to one of the airships before leaving.
"Sean?" Suyin said gaining his attention. "I know your angry about what he did with Kuvira but..." Suyin tried to say.
"He'll be back one day. Begging for forgiveness once he learns what he gave up. This a lesson I learned long ago. He'll come back when you least expect it." Sean said making her sigh before nodding.
"HEY!" Bolin yelled making them face him seeing him and Varrick rush to them.
"Bolin!" Opal yelled rushing to him and pulled him into a hug.
"Ah theres a happy ending." Sean said smiling as Korra held him.
"Lets go home." Korra said making him nod.
Later
Katara sat in her grandmother's lap as she told her and her brothers some stories before they saw Pepper flying to the island.
"Daddy!" Katara yelled as she ran to the Sky Bison before Sean jumped off and grabbed her.
"I told you I would be back sweetheart." Sean said as both parents held her.
"What happened? Reports are coming in that Kuvira and most of her army are dead." Tenzin said.
"I did that." Sean said shocking them.
"You got your warrior spirit back?" Tonraq asked.
"Yup." Sean said before Raiko and some of his men approached him along with Wu. "Oh great what do you want?" Sean asked not in the mood.
"You are officially under arrest for mass murder." Raiko said shocking them.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Turok yelled.
"Kuvira threatened to conquer all of Zaofu and I stopped her and this is my thanks?" Sean asked annoyed.
"Because of you the Earth kingdom will now be in chaos again. You will surrender yourself and accept the consequences which is death." Raiko said before groaning as Sean's blade went into his chest shocking his men who ran off in fear while Wu squealed in fright before fainting.
Sean walked to Raiko who was gasping for air as one of his lungs filled with blood.
"I have been waiting to do this for 4 damn years." Sean said before his blade came out making him gasp in pain.
"You are nothing but a demon. You will never change." Raiko said.
(Insert Salvation from God of war 2018 and skip to the last 2 minutes and 20 seconds)
"You don't know what you talking about." Sean said glaring at him.
"Oh I know more than enough. Do they?" Raiko asked looking at his kids making Sean frown before Korra held his hands and nodded.
"Boys...You and your sister Listen close. I'm from the lands of Greece in a city called Sparta. I made a deal with the God of war and it cost me my soul. I killed few who were deserving...And many more who did not." Sean said before slowly turning to face them. "I killed my entire family." Sean said shocking them.
"Thats why you hate him so much. Is this how it always ends. Gods killing innocents...Their families?" Atreus asked before Sean crouched and held his shoulders.
"No. We decide the people and the gods we want to be. I was young, stupid and drunk with power. But Even I would never dare to hurt my own family. I never got the chance to tell them how I truly felt. And I would never hurt any of you or your mother. Who I was in my youth is not who you need to be. We need to learn from the mistakes of the past so they don't repeat like what Kuvira did. We must always be better." Sean said holding them close.
"You disgust me." Raiko said before coughing up blood before dying.
"Finally." Korra said before Sean spat fire at the body letting it burn to ash.
(End song)
"And also don't judge someone by their past when they've clearly changed. Let that be a lesson to you three." Sean said making them nod. "Oh and uh one more thing." Sean said.
"What?" Tenzin asked as Sean and Korra looked at each other before grinning as he held her by the waist.
"You can expect another Kruger on the way." Korra said shocking them before they all smiled.
"Oh that just figures." Turok said as her mother held her.
"Oh boy. This pregnancy better not be as complicated as the last one." Reznov said before Korra earth bended him in the face.
"I'm sorry what was that?" Korra asked amused making her kids laugh.
"Oy." Sean said.
Later
Everyone was celebrating their victory over Kuvira and Raiko's death on Olympus even the gods from other lands were there.
"Oh before I forget I have an announcement of my own." Julia said getting everyones attention.
"What are you up to?" Sean asked confused next to Reznov.
"Well...Korra's not the only one expecting." Julia said confusing everyone before they caught on.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Reznov yelled in horror.
"Yup...I'm expecting and am 2 months along." Julia said as everyone cheered.
"Oh congradualtions." Korra said hugging her. "Trust me from experience this is the best thing you can ever ask for." Korra said making her grin looking at the triplets who played with their grandfather.
Thats when Reznov felt a lot of eyes on him especially her father and tried to bolt but Sean kept him there as he approached him.
"LET GO! I'm staying with them of course but I don't wanna die right now!" Reznov yelled as the women aimed their weapons at him.
"Oh no your staying right here drunk." Sean said holding him in place as Horus placed a firm hand on his shoulder making him gulp.
"You better be planning to marry her." Horus said making him nod.
"I actually already proposed when she told me last week. We just...Were supposed to keep it a secret until everything calmed down." Reznov said nervously.
"Is that true?" Horus asked his daughter who nods.
"Oh yeah." Julia said showing her engagement ring.
"You jerks why didn't you say anything?" Turok asked with Jinora laughing.
"I repeat after everything calmed down we would tell." Reznov said. "I recall Kruger announced Korra's first pregnancy when things were calm at the time." Reznov said.
"Ok point taken on that." Sean said.
"Well...At least you take responsibility so I won't kill you." Horus said leaving making him sigh in relief before rushing to Julia.
"WHAT THE HELL!" Reznov yelled making her giggle.
"Oh I'm sorry. I wouldn't be in this situation if a certain drunk had been careful." Julia said grinning making him sigh before smiling at he kissed her. (This was all Reapers idea a month ago)
"I swear this kid is gonna have a messed up life with all the shit we go through on a yearly basis." Reznov said making her grin.
"I think those days are coming to an end." Julia said.
Sean right now was outside looking at the stars seeing the dragon constellation with Spyro's star glowing brightly making him smile.
"I remember when I was little girl we would watch those stars every night." Korra said walking to him.
"Yeah...Those were good memories." Sean said before she held his hands.
"How do you feel?" Korra asked making him smile.
"Like my old self but far better." Sean said.
"So how did you get it back? You tried everything and I doubt a mountain coming on top of you is what got your warrior spirit back." Korra said making him smile.
"I saw my old family again. My mother told me my warrior spirit was never gone...Just overshadowed." Sean said.
"By what?" Korra asked.
"Fear of losing what I had finally gotten back after 300 years and had to give it up to save you and the kids for the right reasons. And to let go of my past and forgive myself for what I did during my service to Ares. It wasn't easy but I finally did forgive myself for what I did...Since the fact is...If I didn't do all those horrible things I wouldn't be the man I am today...I wouldn't have you." Sean said making her smile. "Sometimes the worst things we do can later lead to the best things we have in our lives. We just need to move on and appreciate what we have now." Sean said making her nod before kissing him. "I love you Korra." Sean said making her smile.
""I love you too and I'm proud you let it all go." Korra said holding him close making him smile as he kissed her forehead before he felt something pull his leg making him look down seeing the kids making them laugh before Sean picked up Katara while she got the boys.
"So am I getting a little sister cause I feel outnumbered." Katara said making them laugh.
"We'll see sweetheart. We knew we were having you because of your mother's old mentor who you were named after. This one however we want to be a surprise since we're not picky if it's a boy or a girl." Sean said.
"I am." Katara said making him chuckle before kissing her forehead.
"We'll see in 9 months." Korra said making her pout which made her giggle. "So whats gonna happen to the Earth kingdom?" Korra asked.
"I spoke with Athena and she said some of her people in Athens will be taking charge since Wu isn't qualified. Someone like the Queen is dangerous enough but when you have someone like Wu who acted out and threw a drink at the kids...Thats makes him even more dangerous when he doesn't get what he wants." Sean said.
"True. I'm glad everything worked out the way it did." Korra said before he kissed her.
"EW!" The kids yelled in disgust making them laugh before heading back inside.
