Izuku laid awake with Tsuyu sleeping next to him, an arm around his torso as he heard small croaks escaping Tsuyu's mouth. Izuku looked down and saw a small frown painted across her lips through the moonlight shining through the curtains. Sighing, the One for All hero shook his head as he wrapped an arm around Tsuyu and rubbed her back, "I thought she was kidding when she said her family was less than kind, but after meeting everyone today, I can tell that they're just assholes to her, her parents and her siblings. What the hell they ever do?" taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
Tsuyu croaked as she ran a brush through her hair while Izuku was taking a shower. Hearing a knock at the door, she stood up and stepped towards it. Opening it, she saw her aunt, Mana, standing in the hall, "Kero, hello Aunt Mana, can I help you?"
"Ribbit, no, I just decided to see how my favorite niece is doing," Tsuyu gave a fake smile and slightly nodded, "I must say, I'm surprised. I thought your mother had lied to the family," Tsuyu moaned, "But you have a fiancé and everyone is-"
"Honey, who's at the door?" Izuku's voice asked before he stepped next to Tsuyu, wet in nothing but a towel. Looking up, he smiled, "Oh, hello again, ma'am, is everything okay?"
"Y-yes, everything is fine…ribbit," the woman croaked, staring at Izuku's muscles and scars, "Izuku, you must meet my daughter. She was running late yesterday and couldn't make, but she'll be here this afternoon,"
Izuku ignored her as he wrapped an arm around Tsuyu's shoulder and leaned closer to her, kissing the side of her neck, shocking the two, "I…I'm sure Alana would be happy to see us too, Aunt Mana, but Izuku and I…Izuku, stop, that tickles," Tsuyu lightly laughed as Izuku smirked and pulled away, "Kero, we'll talk later, Aunt Mana," the woman nodded before Tsuyu closed the door.
Hearing the latch catch, Izuku stepped away and began laughing, "That wasn't funny, Izu. You almost gave that poor woman a heart attack,"
"C'mon Tsu, there's not a damn thing about that woman that's considered poor," Izuku chuckled and shook his head, "Hell, you heard her, she tried to set me up with her daughter, even though she knows we're engaged,"
"Kero," Tsuyu sighed and shook her head, "By the way, why are you just in a bath towel?"
"Oh…I heard you talking to someone and it didn't sound like your mom or sister, so I decided to…see what was going on and decided to play a little prank," Tsuyu shook her head again as Izuku turned and began walking towards the bathroom, "I guess I'll go get dressed,"
"You better," Tsuyu croaked and watched as Izuku stepped into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. A small smile formed across Tsuyu's lips as she reached up and touched the side of her neck, "Kero," she turned and continued to run her brush through her hair.
The pair walked around the pool, hand-in-hand in silence. Looking around, Izuku saw several of Tsuyu's family members staring at them. Leaning closer, he whispered into Tsuyu's ear, "Hey…I think your cousins are watching us,"
Tsuyu hummed and looked back to see her relatives staring at them. Sighing, she looked up at Izuku and slightly smiled, "Just ignore them, Izu. They're just little kids an-"
"Tsuyu," they heard a voice croak and they looked up to see a woman around their age with medium-length green hair and wearing a light green bikini walk up to them. Stopping in front of them, the woman smiled, "It's been so long, how have you been? Ribbit,"
"Alana," Tsuyu looked at Izuku and smiled, "Izu, this is my cousin Alana, the one my aunt was telling you about," Tsuyu looked back at her cousin and rested her head on Izuku's shoulder, "Alana, this is my fiancé Izuku Midoriya. Kero," the woman looked at Izuku and smiled as her eyes scanned him, "Please don't stare at my fiancé like that, Alana,"
"What? I'm just making sure he's not going to hurt you, like a good cousin should," she said before she turned her back towards them before she looked over her shoulder and shot Izuku a seductive smirk, "Ribbit, you know Izuku, if you get tired of my cousin later, you can join me for a swim," turning around, she began running towards the pool before jumping in.
Sighing, Izuku looked down at Tsuyu and saw a small frown painted across her lips, "No offense, Tsu, but your relatives seem to be full of themselves." Tsuyu moaned and shook her head, "Why don't we go somewhere else? The pool's getting a little overcrowded," Tsuyu nodded before they turned and began walking away.
The two sat on a bench in front of the hotel and watched as cars drove down the street. Tsuyu lowered her head and let out a shaky breath, "I'm sorry, Izu," Izuku hummed in confusion and looked at her, "It's only been a day and my relatives are probably getting on your nerves, they're getting on mine…Kero, maybe we shouldn't have come, we wouldn't be subjected like this an-"
"It's fine, Tsu," Izuku sighed and leaned back, staring up at the sky, "So your one aunt and cousin are completely full of themselves, so what? The rest of your family seems…okay? I mean they were fine at dinner last night and I'm going to be honest, I'm not planning on leaving you to spend time with your cousin this week…so…you're stuck with me," Tsuyu gave a faint smile, "And besides, we're doing this so your family will leave you alone and we get a vacation out of it so what's the issue? We've talked about this last week and everything was fine then," Tsuyu hummed and nodded before leaning up against the One for All hero and Izuku's eyes widened, "Uh…Tsu?"
"We're engaged, so we have to do this to keep up the charade," Tsuyu croaked and nuzzled closer to him. Izuku slightly smiled before slowly wrapping an arm around her and rubbed her back.
This is probably going to be the most lackluster chapter I'll write for this story. Please enjoy.
