It was a normal day on Cybertron. Megatron was beating up Starscream for the seekers latest mistake.

And Starscream was trying to flee and the seeker took off into the medbay to hide where he ran into Knock Out who offered to fix his damage.

But then Megatron braged into the medbay and literally tossed Knock Out aside not having finished with his second in command yet.

"Megatron!" Starscream shouted as his optics widened in horror.

"Shut up you stupid good for nothing seeker!" Megatron hissed as he hit him again and continued to beat Starscream not allowing the seeker to get a word in.

Just then Optimus Prime came in with Bumblebee and Soundwave having heard the commotion.

Megaton turned to where they had just entered but much to his surprise and confusion Starscream didn't take the opportunity to flee he looked like he wanted to go somewhere but was too scared to move.

"What is it you wast of space!" Megatron growled at Starscream not even paying attention to the others.

Megatron started to smack Starscream again only for Optimus to run over and grab his servo before it made contact.

"Stay out of this Prime!" Megatron hissed.

"Megatron you have done enough look what you have done to Starscream and look at your medic!" Optimus told him not sounding at all happy.

Then Megatron looked at where he had tossed Knock Out just moments earlier and saw the red medic was still laying there and Starscream and Bumblebee had both rush over to his side.

(Which was where Starscream had wanted to go when he had been to scared to move and what he tried to point out to Megatron.)

"He needs medical attention fast." Bumblebee said seeing that Knock Out had been slammed into some of his medical equipment and had accidentally gotten stabbed when he landed on his scalpel.

"Call Ratchet!" Optimus told Bumblebee who didn't wast anytime.

And a few seconds later a ground bridge open and Optimus rushed Knock Out through it to the hospital and Starscream went through next with Bumblebee right be hind him and the scout turned warrior kept looking at Megatron as if ready to defend the seeker if he tried anything.

Megatron just stood there as he watched the others hurry and the ground bridge close with only Soundwave staying behind with him.

At the hospital Starscream set in the waiting room worried about his friend and blaming himself for the whole thing feeling like it was his fault since he had decided to try to hide in the medbay.

And that if he hadn't lead Megatron and his rage in there Knock Out wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Optimus and Bumblebee kept telling him it wasn't his fault and trying to reassure him. They neither one liked what Megatron's treatment of the seeker had done to his self esteem.

Then Ratchet came out and said that Knock Out had a close call but was going to be fine.

Then he treated Starscream's damage and didn't like how much of it there was and told Optimus and Bumblebee that he was worried that Megatron might kill the seeker if this continued.

So they decided to make sure that someone was with him anytime Megatron was around and to make sure he was OK.

As soon as Ratchet was finished treating him Starscream went back to see Knock Out who was now awake but had been told to take it easy.

"I'm sorry you got hurt I shouldn't have lead Megatron to the medbay." Starscream apologized to his best friend.

"It's OK Starscream it was Megatron who did it not you." Knock Out told him.

"And your name is kind of hilarious when you think about it I mean have you ever actually heard a star scream?" Knock Out asked then busted out laughing. "That would be funny."

Starscream scratched his helm in confusing because Knock Out wasn't making since.

"Sorry I may have given him too many pain killers." Said Ratchet. Then Starscream had to fight back laughter now understanding the situation.

The seeker was just glad his best friend was going to be OK.

Meanwhile Megatron felt bad about what happened.

Not only had he continued to hurt and abuse Starscream during peace times. But he hadn't even notice that he had harmed and nearly killed Knock Out who hadn't had anything to do with it other then trying to fix Starscream.

He didn't even notice how bad Starscream's damage was until he had gotten a glimpse of the seeker right before he had left through the ground bridge earlier.

Now he wanted to apologise to Starscream but didn't know how or if the seeker would hear him out or even if anyone would let him near him.

He told Soundwave how he felt and the slender bot listened something the Decepticon third in command had always been good at.

Something Megatron appreciated he considered Soundwave to be his closest friend.

Later that night Starscream went for a flight to clear his processor but unfortunately forgot to pay attention and almost crashed into a rock formation and ended up damaging one of his wings then fell into a cave only for some of the rocks to fall with him.

Luckily he was OK other then the damaged wing which wasn't bad it was mainly the tip that get hit. But the rocks had blocked the exit of the cave.

Starscream remembered having once been in that cave during the early days of the war and that there was another exit but he'd have to walk through a tunnel which would take awhile.

"Scrap glad no one saw that." He groaned feeling a little embarrassed by his epic fail. But glad he was OK and knew it could have been a lot worse and he had been lucky that the rocks didn't crush him.

The seeker started heading for the other exit knowing it would take him all night to get out of the cave and he'd have a long walk ahead of him because it was a long tunnel that went around and would come out right next to where the cave in was.

And he couldn't get a com-link signal from down there so couldn't let anyone know where he was.

"It's gonna be a long night." He complained.

Meanwhile Megatron went to the hospital and apologized to Knock Out. But wanted to apologise to Starscream too and was disappointed to learn the seeker had already left.

But was glad when Knock Out accepted his apology. But then Bumblebee came in looking for Starscream and informed them that the seeker was missing.

Then Megatron and Knock Out both went to join the search. Knock Out was still healing but insisted on going after hearing Starscream wasn't answering his com-link.

Ratchet let him go but made him promise to take it easy. So he went with Bumblebee to look while Megatron decided to look from the air in his alt mode.

After some hours of searching Megatron spotted where the cave in had happened and found part of Starscream's wing tip then.

"No!" He cried upon realizing the seeker had crashed and been buried.

Then rushed to where the rocks were and stated digging as fast as he could. Thinking every second counted. And fearing he might already be too late.

And kept picturing involuntary images of Starscream trapped under the rocks dead or dying.

But didn't notice the seeker in question walking out of another opening in the cave.

Starscream saw Megatron digging at the rocks.

"Megatron?" The seeker asked trying to make sense of what his former master was doing.

"Starscream!" Megatron said hearing the seeker voice and thinking he was getting close. "Hold on I'll get you out of their I promise I'll find you!"

"Uh your a little late." Starscream told him tapping his shoulder to reveal he had been standing right behind him.

"Starscream how dare you scar me like that!" He hissed.

And Starscream braced himself thinking he was in for another beat down but to his surprise Megatron hugged him instead. "I'm glad your alright." He told the seeker then apologized for the way he had treated him.

And Starscream accepted after seeing Megatron had been trying to save him and genuinely worried when he thought he was buried.

And the others were glad when they found them and saw that Starscream was fine and he and Megatron were getting along and friends now.

And later Knock Out fixed Starscream's wing tip and they were all glad that everything had turned out OK.
