There was only one word Yu could use to describe Beacon Academy; Breathtaking. From the moment saw it from the airship's window, he could see why it was so famous. There was something so marvelous about this school, so incredible. No wonder Ruby and Yang wanted to enroll here!
"URKK!--" But once again the moment was ruined by the passenger from before rushing towards a trash can once the ship had docked. As Yu, Ruby and Yang made their way onto the airship landing, they could practically feel the very history of the school with every step they took. This incredible feeling hit Yu the hardest, having been born in a world without things like Semblance or the Grimm, without such things both fantastic and terrible. Even after he awakened to his Persona, he never once thought he'd see anything like this in his life! He felt like a child watching an anime for the first time as he drooled over what would become his new school.
"The view from Vale's got nothing on this!" said Yang, snapping the silverette back to reality.
"No kidding. It's like something out of a dream."
"OH! GUYS! That kid's got a collapsable staff!!" Yu had to resist the urge to facepalm. An amazing school like this and the first thing to catch Ruby's eye were the weapons?... wait, of course they were. This was Ruby after all...
"OH! AND SHE'S GOT A FIRE SWORD!" exclaime the reaper as she began to absent-mindedly drift away from her sister and friend, the latter grabbing her by the hood and pulling her back toward them.
"Calm down, Rubes. They're just weapons."
"'Just weapons?!' They're an extension of ourselves, they're a part of US! Oh, they're so cool!"
"Yeah, but a weapon is only as good as its wielder. It doesn't matter how fancy it is if the person holding it has no idea how to use it."
"Why can't you swoon over your own weapon?" asked Yang. "Aren't you happy with it?
"Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose!" said the reaper as she unsheathed her weapon, holding it like it was a lost lover. "I just really like seeing new ones! It's like meeting new people... but better... And YOU!" She spun arpund, pointing an accusatory finger at the silverette. "How can you talk like that after I spent all that time forging Myriad Truth?!"
"Which I'm grateful for, but keep in mind that there was a time when I had to fight monsters with a golf club... a golf club. And it did the job just fine, at least long enough for me to get a real weapon."
"...Okay, point made."
"Ruby, c'mon!" said the blonde as she pulled Ruby's hood down over her face. "Why don't you go try and make some friends of your own?"
"But why would I need friends when I have you guys?"
"Ohh... actually my friends are here now, gotta go catch up, talk to you later, bye!" In half a second, Yangs friends appeared, and the blonde took off with them as fast as bullets, leaving Yu and Ruby spinning in place like tops in their wake!
"Wait, where are you going?!" cried ther reaper as her sister sped off with her friends! "Are we supposed to go to our dorms?! Where ARE our dorms?!" She was caught by a very irked Yu, who had managed to stop spinning, but was accidentally pushed back by the diminutive reaper, causing the silverette to fall backward...
...into someone's luggage!! The next thing he knew, he was under a mountain of white suitcases and bags. "...ugh... Just my luck..."
"OHMYGOSH!!" cried Ruby "Yu, I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?!"
"Only my pride..."
"What are you doing?!" a voice cried out. Yu and Ruby turned to the source, an attractive young woman around the same age as Yu, with pale skin, pale.blue eyes and long white hair in a side ponytail, wearing a thigh-length, strapless white dress that gradiated to a pale blue at the hem, a bell-sleeved bolero with the same color gradiation, with red lining and a ruffled collar, white wedged heeled boots, a sash around her waist and a rapier at her side.
The sight of her brought a blush to Yu's face. "Uh.. sorry..."
"'Sorry?!' Do you have any idea the damage you could've caused?!"
"It was an accident!" cried Ruby "I pushed him when I got all dizzy and--"
"Shut it! Some of those bags are filled with Dust, mined and purified from the Schnee Quarry! You could have blown up the entire school!"
"But I didn't, and your luggage doesn't seem any worse for wear" said Yu as he picked himself up off the ground, beginning to put the girls luggage back on the cart. "so how about we put this behind us and not get into some big argument on the first day of school?"
"Hmm... Fine, I suppose I can do that."
Ruby fidgeted nervously, not quite sure what to do next. Maybe she should do that whole 'making friends' thing her sister keeps going on about... "A-are you going to Beacon, too?"
"Of course I am, you dolt! Why else would I bring all this luggage?!"
"Ahem! Please excuse my friend, she's not good at being social."
"I'm really not..."
"I think we should all just start over, Ms..."
"Weiss Schnee" another voice called out. This tome, it was a girl with long black hair and a black bow, with yellow eyes, wearing a black buttoned vest with coattails with a white, high-necked, crop undershirt. She also wore white shorts with zippers on the front of each leg, and black, low-heeled boots with stockings in a black to purple gradiation, and a single, black detatched sleeve on her left arm with a silver cuff arpund her bicep, and black ribbons around both forearms. On her back was a sword that had what looked like a pistol as the handle. "heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."
"Finally, some recognition!" said Weiss as a smug look made its way onto her face.
"...the same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners."
"Wha--?! How dare--?! The nerve of--!! UGH!!" With that, the heiress turned away in a huff, storming off as the employees accompanying her finished collecting the scattered luggage.
"Hey, wait! I..." Yu stammered before sighing in defeat. "Great... Just great..."
"Well, at least we're not the only ones having a rough first day... SO! Whats..." Ruby turned to notice the girl with the bow taking her leave.
"Real friendly, isn't she?" remarked the silverette.
"Welcome to Beacon..." said the reaper as her shoulders slumped.
"Hey." Another new voice, this one belonging to a young man with short blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a black, short-sleeved hoodie with detatched orange sleeves underneath a white breastplate and pauldrons, two belts crisscrossing his waist, blue jeans with a white patch on the left knee, and black sneakers. He also wore brown, wrist-length gloves with exposed fingertips, and metal plates the back of each glove. A sword rested in the sheath at his side. "I'm Jaune."
"...Ruby. The silver haired guy's Yu."
"He's me?"
"No, my name is Yu. Yu Narukami."
"Oh."
"Aren't you the guy who threw up on the ship?" asked Ruby.
Robyn Loxley's first day at Beacon was not going well. Why? It started when he asked a girl if she knew the way to the main hall. The girls boyfriend saw them and thought that the rockerboy was flirting with his girlfriend, which resulted in the situation Robyn found himself in now.
"It wasn't what it looked like!" shouted Robyn as he ran through the gardens of Beacon Academy, fleeing from the angry fellow chasing him! "I was just asking for directions!!"
"Get back here, asshole!!"
"No thank you, I like living!!" The chase was cut short when he crashed into someone twice his size, falling onto his rear!
"You alright there, friend?" said the living brick wall. Robyn looked up to see the towering figure that was Tychus Braun.
"Please help, there's a crazy dude after me! He's gonna--"
"Found you!!" The two looked back down the hall, seeing the pursuer brandishing a morningstar.
"Uh, excuse me, fellas" said Tychus. "Could someone explain what's going on?"
"That asshole was hitting on my girlfriend!!"
"I was NOT!! I was just asking if she knew how to get to the main hall!!"
"Yeah, right!! When I'm done with you, there won't even be enough to feed a Beowulf!"
"Friend, I suggest you calm down" the bear faunus said calmly "before someone gets hurt."
"Oh, you 'suggest,' huh?! Maybe you'd like to join pretty boy ov-" The brute was interrupted by Tychus fist flying into his face, launching him back down the way he came and crashing into a wall. "...I tried to warn him."
"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!" said Robyn, now on his knees, hugging Tychus' leg. "I thought he was gonna kill me!" Tychus responded by simply grabbing Robyn by the back of his vest and lifting him up to where he was back on his feet.
"Were you really just asking for directions, Mr..."
"Robyn, and yes I was! But that neanderthal just wouldn't listen to reason! He was convinced I was flirting with her!"
"Well, maybe next time you'll be more careful who you chat with, friend."
"Oh please, this was just one little pothole on my road to stardom!!"
"...pardon?"
"My road to stardom! I aspire to become the Huntsman Prince of Rock and Roll! And I will not let trifles such as that little faux pas deter me!"
"Huh... well good luck with that." said Tychus as he began to take his leave.
"Wait, wait, wait!! I have a proposition for you, Mr.. I'm sorry what was your name?"
"Tychus Braun."
"Tychus, I've got a good feeling about you. Getting a sense of chemistry, you see..."
"I uh... don't swing that way."
"That's now what I mean!! My path to stardom is obviously fraught with more perils than I realized! I could use the help of a powerhouse such as yourself!"
"So what, you want me to be your bodyguard?"
"Sort of. I can handle myself in a fight, but I'm more of a ranged combatant than anything. I could use the help of someone more... accustomed to a brawl."
"Hmm... alright then. I guess we're partners. Shake on it?"
"Let's!" said Robyn as he shook hands with the bear faunus, but judging by the cracking sound in Robyn's hand and the expression on the rockerboys face... that wasn't a good idea...
"YAAAAHAHAHAHOWWWWW!!!"
"What the hell was that?!" exclaimed Aria!
"Sounded like a dying Nevermore..." said Pyrrha as they walked through the gardens of Beacon, quickly forgetting about whatever that sound was.
"I still can't believe I'm really here!" said Aria. "I figured I'd be lucky if I got into Haven, but BEACON?! Pinch me, Pyrrha! I think I'm dreaming... OW! Hey!"
"You did say to pinch you." said Pyrrha, stifling a chuckle.
"Oh ha ha. Very funny."
Pyrrha was happy to see her best friend so excited! She finally had the chance to become a real Huntress, like she always talked about when they were little! But a part of her felt a bit sad by how Aria and her brother left things.
"Hey, Aria... Once we get done with orientation, maybe you should call your brother to--"
"What?! Why should I?!"
"Well... maybe to apologize?"
"About what?! You heard him! He's happy I'm gone, he always blamed me for everything!"
"He's still your brother."
"And when did that matter to him?!"
"Aria.."
"Don't 'Aria' me! He stopped being my brother when he got all controlling and paranoid, making me stay at home in some slum while he goes off doing whatever he gets paid to do! He's never once cared about who he hurt, as long as he got his paycheck! He didn't even go to our parents funeral!"
"...okay, fine. You don't want to talk to him."
"...I'm sorry, I just... can we please not talk about him?"
"Okay... so, any boys catch your eye yet?"
Aria just laughed, her mood brightening in an instant. "Well, now that you mention it..."
"All I'm saying is that motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on!" said Jaune as he, Ruby, and Yu were walking along a pathway.
"Look, I'm sorry" said Ruby "'Vomit Boy was the first thing that came to mind!"
"Oh yeah?! What if I called you... uh... uhm..."
"Weapon-nut?" Yu interjected.
"Yeah, weapon-nut!... Wait, why weapon-nut?"
"Because she's obsessed weapons."
"That doesn't sound like much of an insult to me..." said Ruby.
"Well, the name's Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue. Ladies love it!"
"...no they don't." deadpanned the silverette.
"They will! Well, I...I hope they will. I mean, my mom always says that... nevermind."
With every word Jaune spoke, Yu could see more and more of a resemblance to Yosuke. The silverette was convinced that he had found Yosuke's Remnant counterpart!
"Um... soo I got this thing." said Ruby as she brought out Crescent Rose, unsheathing it with a flourish!
"Whoa!" said Jaune as he lept back in surprise "Is that a scythe?"
"It's also a customizable, high-impact sniper rifle!" The reaper said proudly.
"A wha..."
"She means it's also a gun."
"Oh. That's cool!"
"So what do you got?!" asked Ruby.
"Oh, uh I... I got this sword!" said Jaune as he unsheathed the blade.
"Oooh..."
"Yeah, I got a shield too!" The knight then took the sheath from his belt, transforming it into a white kite shield with a gold trim.
"So what do they do?" askdd Ruby as she touched the shield, causing it to switch back and forth between sheath and shield form as Jaune tried, and failed, to keep hold of it, the shield clattering onto the ground before the knight could pick it up. "Th-the shield gets smaller, so when I get tired of carrying it, I can just... put it away."
"But... wouldn't it weigh the same?" asked the reaper.
"Yeah, it does. How about you, Narukami? What do you have?"
Yu simply drew his sword, Myriad Truth, a katana with a sleek silver blade, and an black-iron guard. The handle was black with a silver trim, a trigger resting beneath the guard, and a rectangular button on the opposite side of the handle, with a simple pommel. Without another word, the silverette pushed the rectangular button, causing the pommel to open. He then reached into his jacket, taking out a magazine of lightning dust rounds, loading it into the grip before pulling the trigger, causing a bolt of electricity to shoot out from the length of the blade like a railgun!
"Whoa..." was all the knight could say.
"Yeah, I'm proud of it!" chirped Ruby.
"You made that?!"
"Yup! And my scythe! All students at Signal forge their own weapons! And like Yu said I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons. Guess I did kinda go a little overboard designing them..."
"A little?" deadpanned the silverette.
"Okay, maybe a lot overboard... But didn't you make yours, Jaune?"
"It's a hand-me-down. My great-great-grandfather used it to fight in the war."
"Sounds more like a family heirloom to me!" said Ruby.
"That just shows how reliable it is." said Yu.
"You really think so? I mean, it's nowhere near as cool as your sword or Ruby's scythe."
"Maybe not, but it's the person wielding the sword that really matters."
"...What if the person wielding it isn't much of a fighter?"
"Then he needs to practice until he becomes a fighter. Even the greatest Huntsmen and Huntresses had to start somewhere."
"Yeah... Yeah, you're right!"
"So what made you wanna hang out with us anyway?" asked Ruby.
"Why not? I mean, the three of us DID get left behind by everyone else! And it's like my mom says, 'Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet!'"
"Uh guys? Where are we going?" asked Yu
"I don't know, I was following you two." said Jaune. "You think there might be a directory? Maybe a food court?... Some sort of recognizable landmark?... Is uh... is that a no?"
"So it's official" said Yu. "We never get lost in the woods with Jaune Arc." The three had finally reached the main hall after what felt like an eternity.
"Seconded." said Ruby, stifling a laugh.
"I really want to argue" said Jaune "but I can't deny the facts..."
"Ruby! Narukami!" The three turned to see Yang standing with two others, Robyn and Tychus, the former nursing a wounded hand. "Over here! I saved you guys some spots!"
"Oh! Hey, we gotta go!" said Ruby "We'll see you after the ceremony!"
"Later, Jaune!"
With that, the reaper and the Persona user made their way toward Yang, leaving behind a distraight Jaune. "Hey, wait! Ugh great... where am I supposed to find more nice people to talk to?!"
Unbeknownst to Jaune, Pyrrha Nikos was in earshot, with Aria Drake standing beside her.
"Y'know, he's cute" said Aria. "In a bumbling, dorky kinda way..."
"So you're not mad at Yang anymore?" asked Yu.
"Not in the least. As far as I'm concerned, the debacle at the club is water under the bridge!" said Robyn. "Hmm... You know, I don't think we've actually met."
"Yu Narukami. And it's Robyn, right?"
"Indeed! Robyn Loxley! A pleasure."
"And your friend is..."
"Tychus." said the bear faunus. "Tychus Braun. Nice to meet you."
"Likewise."
"So how's your first day going, little sister?" asked Yang.
"You mean after you ditched us and Yu crashed into some girls luggage?!"
"Did that really happen?" asked Robyn.
"Unfortunately." said the silverette. "I tried to smooth things over with her but she stormed off before I could say anything."
"Which I want to apologize for." Yu turned to see the heiress standing behind him. His face turning red as he fumbled with his words. "OH uh hey! Weiss, right? Uh I... its.. uh.."
A smile quickly spread across Yang's face as she watched the exchange. Yet more ammunition she could use to mess with Narukami!
"I'm sorry for just walking away like that. Prior to that little incident, I had just finished a very... unpleasant exchange with my father, so I wasn't in the best state of mind for... whatever that was."
"Oh its uh... It's fine."
"So let's start over, like you said. My name is Weiss Schnee."
"Uh... I-I'm Yu Narukami."
"A-and I'm Ruby!" interjected the reaper before Weiss could say anything. "Wanna hang out? We can go shopping for school supplies!
"Yeah!" said the heiress, sarcastically. "And we can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys like tall, handsome and silver-haired here." Weiss said, motioning to Yu as she finished, earning strange looks from the others and making the silverette's jaw drop before she realized what she had said, her face turning even redder than Ruby's cloak! "SHUT UP!" She then quickly spun around and covered her face, berating herself in her head.
'Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why did I say that?! Ugh that was so embarassing! I can't even imagine what he thinks of me now!'
Meanwhile, Yu.exe had stopped working...
"Ahem..." Their attention turned to the stage, where Ozpin was standing before a microphone, ready to adress the students.
"I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose... direction... You assume knowledge will free you of this... but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step..." With that, the Headmaster stepped offstage, Ms. Goodwitch taking his place behind the microphone.
"You will gather at the ballroom tonight, tomorrow your initiation begins. Be ready. You're dismissed."
"Well, that was... something." said Tychus.
"Was that supposed to be inspiring?" asked Robyn "Because I'm not feeling very inspired..."
"He seemed kinda... off. I think I get what you were talking about, Narukami." said Yang.
"It almost like he wasn't even there..." said Ruby
"Y'know, I think he's a natural silver." said Jaune, who had appeared from off to the side. "...what are you doing?" asked Yu
"Being your wingman... I kinda overheard."
Weiss wanted the earth to swallow her whole...
Night had fallen, and the new students were all scattered around the ballroom with sleepwear and sleeping bags. Yu was lying on his back in his sleeping bag, recounting the days events.
Beside him lay Ruby, atop her own sleeping bag, writing in a book when her sister finally appeared.
"It's like a big slumber party!" said the brawler.
"I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though..." said Ruby.
"I know I do... prrr" said Yang as she fixed her gaze on the array of boys before her...
...before a certain knight walked into her field of view wearing footy pajamas. "Ugh... what's that?"
"A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going."
"Aww, that's so cute!!"
"Shut up!" cried the reaper as she threw a pillow into Yangs face, getting a laugh from Yu.
"Honestly Ruby, it's nice you're keeping in touch with them. Good to see you didn't let your early acceptance into Beacon go to your head."
"Heh, thanks, Yu. But I wish I got to bring them with me. It's weird not knowing anyone here. Aside from you, I mean."
"What about Jaune?" asked Yang. "He's... nice."
"Quite the character." said Yu. "Reminds me of my buddy Yosuke."
"There you go! Plus one friend! That's a hundred percent increase!"
"I'm pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend. Back to one..."
"What're we, chopped liver?" exclaimed Robyn, who, along with Tychus, had just arrived and set their bags down near the three. The rockerboy was wearing black pajama bottoms and a green shirt with black three-quarter sleeves, while the powerhouse was wearing gray pajama bottoms and a gray tank top with white socks.
"Also I don't think 'negative friends' are a thing..." said the bear faunus.
"See?!" said Yang. "Counting Narukami, you've already got four friends here at Beacon!"
"Yeah, I guess..."
"It's only been one day, Rubes" said Yu. "You've got friends all around you, you just haven't met them yet...Hmm?"
"What's wrong?"
"That girl over there with the bow..." Ruby turned around, seeing the girl from before sitting alone in candlelight, reading a book dressed in what appeared to be a yukata.
Of course, Yang, being the disaster bi she was, liked what she saw... "You know her?"
"Not really," said Ruby "she saw what happened this morning, but left before we could say anything..."
"Well, now's your chance!" said the blonde as she got up, taking her sister by the hand to drag her over to the brunette.
"W-wait, what're you doing?!" cried the reaper.
Yu could only watch as the brawler dragged Ruby away to make her socialize. "Well, that won't end well..."
"Eh, you never know. They might hit it off." said Robyn. "So how do you know Yang and Ruby? I know you didn't go to Signal, I would've remembered seeing you around school."
"That's, uh... a long story."
"Hellooo~~!" The brunette looked up from her book to see Yang dragging Ruby toward her, the reaper finally managing to free herself from the brawlers grip. "I believe you two may know each other?"
"Aren't you that clumsy guy's friend?" asked the brunette.
"H-He's not that clumsy, actually. I accidentally knocked him over after someone ditched me..." Ruby said, glaring at Yang, who was whistling innocently. "M-My name's Ruby..."
"...okay."
"What're you doing?!" asked Yang in a hushed tone.
"I don't know, help me!"
"So... what's your name?"
"...Blake."
"Well, Blake, I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister! I like your bow!"
"...Thanks."
"It goes great with your... pajamas!"
"...right."
This wasn't going well... "Nice night, don't you think?"
"Yes... it's lovely... almost as lovely as this book... that I will continue to read... as soon as you leave..."
"Yeah, this girl's a lost cause." said Yang.
"What's it about?" asked Ruby.
"Huh?" the brunette looked up again, caught off guard by the question.
"Your book. Does it have a name?"
"Well... it's about a man with two souls... each fighting for control over his body.."
"Oh yeah," remarked Yang "that's... real lovely..."
"Like Jekyll and Hyde..."
Ruby and Yang turned around to see Yu had followed them.
"Huh?"
"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. It's an old book from... where I grew up. Jekyll was a scientist who spent his life fighting against more... malevolent urges. He created a serum to separate those urges from his personality, but he creates an alter ego as a result..."
"Mr. Hyde."
"Right. Jekyll was an amiable, well-meaning gentleman, while Hyde was more... violent, driven by his desires. Over time Hyde gets stronger and stronger, leaving Jekyll to rely on the same serum that made Mr. Hyde to keep himself conscious."
"Sounds kinda... like it doesn't end well." said Ruby.
"Couldn't tell ya, I can't remember how it ends."
"It still sounds like quite the read." said Blake.
"Yeah... I love books." said Ruby. "Yang used to read to me every night before bed. Stories of heroes and monsters... They're one of the reasons I wanna be a Huntress."
"Why is that?" asked Blake. "Hoping you'll live happily ever after?"
"What's wrong with that?" asked Yu.
"I'm hoping we all will." said the reaper. "As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books. Someone who fought for what was right, and who protected people who couldn't protect themselves."
"Thats... very ambitious for a child--"
"Hate to break it to you, but everyone in this room is a child, yourself included." Yu interjected.
"...What?"
"Aren't you going to be a student here?"
"...I intend to be, yes."
"A first year, like the rest of us?"
"...are you going somewhere with this?"
"Why do you want to be a Huntress?"
"...that's my business."
"Well, whatever your reasons, I don't think you have much of a right to talk bad about Ruby's dreams."
"...Oh! It did sound like that, didn't it? Sorry, Ruby, but the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale."
"Well, that's why we're here!" said Ruby. "To make it better."
"I'm so proud of my baby sister!" said Yang as she picked up Ruby by the waist, prompting the reaper to struggle back, resulting in the two kicking up a dust cloud, complete with cartoony fight sound effects!
Blake couldn't help but laugh at the display, while Yu simply facepalmed and shook his head, his face breaking into an amused smile.
"Well, Ruby, Yang and..."
"Yu."
"Yu, it's a pleasure to--"
"What in the world is going on over here?!" Yu froze when he heard that familiar voice, and turned to see Weiss standing there with her hair down wearing a short-sleeve faded blue nightgown. Another blush made its way onto his face.
"Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep?!" cried the heiress before her gaze met Yu's, both of their faces turning red before Weiss quickly averted her gaze, still rather embarassed by her slip of the tongue earlier.
"Sorry, Weiss. We should probably turn in, too." said Yu. "Our initiation's tomorrow. It won't look good for us if we fall asleep halfway through."
"Good point." said Ruby, "G'night, Blake!"
"Night!" said Yang as she followed her sister and her friend back to their sleeping bags.
Blake just watched as they left, before turning her attention to the heiress, who's gaze was back on the silverette, before she sighed and returned to her sleeping bag.
When Yu had woken up, he noticed that he was no longer in the ballroom of Beacon Academy. Instead, he found himself in a massive, blue library. The room gave off a familiar feeling to the silverette, as a very familiar melody reached his ear.
Instead of his sleeping bag, Yu was seated in a rather ornate chair, sitting in front of an equally ornate desk. The figure sitting behind the desk was obscured by the shadows, but from what dim light had gathered in the room, Yu could easily recognize this figure by his most prominent feature, an absurdly long nose.
"Welcome back to the Velvet Room..."
And there we go! First day of Beacon! Went a little differently, and we see Yu's future teammates!
If I didn't make it clear, our ice princess is gonna be all Tsu-Tsu for Narukami, because OF COURSE SHE WOULD!! She'd never really say how she felt, she'll take every attempt to play hard to get with Yu. And yes, I'll be trying my hand at the Bumblebee ship for this fic. Can't promise it'll be any good, because I'm the one writing this, but I'll give it my best shot!
And the Velvet Room! Easily one of my favorite concepts, story-wise, from the Persona series, because there's still so much about the Velvet Room that's a mystery, and it'll probably stay that way, but that just makes it even better!
Thanks for reading, stay tuned for the next chapter, and leave a review, would you kindly?
