Edd sighed when he saw the notes on the kitchen table revealing his parents wouldn't celebrate Christmas with him this year. "Again?" He said walking to the fridge and taking out milk. He placed it on the table and took out a glass cup.

A sudden doorbell made him flinch. We put the milk back in the fridge as the doorbell rang again. "Ed? This again?"

He went to the door and opened it, "Merry Christmas Eve Ed…" he froze upon seeing Naz wearing a long sweater down as if it was a dress. Wearing leggings and boots.

"Double D, you were expecting Ed?"

Edd blinked before looking around. "W-weren't going to go on holidays with your parents to like… the other side of the world?"

"Like I was, but my mom said I could stay with my friends since I went last year."

Edd immediately pulled her inside and closed the door. "Nazz! You could have texted me."

"I wanted to surprise you!"

"You could have just… jeez… hopefully no one saw you."

"Don't be silly. Everyone is probably sleeping?"

Edd rubbed the back of his neck. "You're right… everybody is still sleeping." And then a knock was heard. Edd freezing as Nazz tilted her head.

"A ghost…"

Edd grabbed Nazz, "stay in my room. I think it's Ed. I promise I will be there in a few minutes."

Nazz blinked as she went red. "Your room… like… I get to be in your—."

"Focus, in my room." Edd shoved Nazz away before prepping himself. As the knock was heard again. Edd opened the door calmly, "Hello… Ed…dy!?"

"Yeah, sock head," Eddy stood with a box. "Remember we were going to try out the firecracker launcher."

"In Fourth of July! It's Christmas."

"Christmas is like an early Fourth of July…" Eddy let himself in. Edd panicking as Eddy whistled. "Come on man, let's go to your room."

"No!" Edd walked to Eddy and said, "let's do it somewhere safe… like outside."

"Double D, we're just gonna build the thing. We'll do the firing at night."

Edd looked around, "my room is messy…" and Eddy marched along. "Wait Eddy, you cannot enter my room without consent. My personal…"

Eddy went to Double D's door and opened it. "Eddy! I don't want to fire a rocket in my room by accident…"

"We done it before," Eddy raised a brow. And opened the door, "what's with you sock head?" Eddy was about to opent he door, "Oh, I see."

"Oh no…" Edd gulped.

Eddy chuckled, "you got some mags I see."

Edd blinked, "Y-yeah. S-So what?" He got red, "I can't let you see them."

"Fine, but I get to talk to your dealer later," Eddy chuckled as Edd entered his room. Closing and locking the door. He looked at his already comfy room. Before looking at every corner. Under his bed, drawers, blinds, windows. Before finally landing on the closet.

Nazz head popping out. "Mags Edd!?" She was silenced with a big kiss.

"I lied to him Nazz, I just needed to tell you I will take 40 minutes. I will try to get it sooner and we can truly be alone…"

"O-okay," Nazz nodded before puckering her lips for another kiss.

Edd froze before hearing Ed knock on the door, "sock head, are you trying to get done a quick one or…?"

"G-Going Eddy," Edd yelled in frustration. Kissing Nazz quickly before she hid inside his closet.

He closed the closet door and going to his door. Finally letting Eddy in who immediately sat on his bed. "So Double D, how high can we get this firecrackers."

"Without burning the whole cul de sac… pretty high," Edd composed himself as he took out the device gun from the box.

"You know Double D, I heard a bit of a rumor about you."

"You have?" Edd looked up confused.

"Yeah, that you want to be a nurse for old people," Eddy snickered.

"That's not true," Edd said as took out nozzle from the device.

Eddy sighed, "come on, you should get yourself a girlfriend…"

"You should too…"

Eddy spat, "I already have, but we couldn't make it work. You should like get yourself one. Come on, lots of cute girls in school."

"Never noticed," Edd began to take apart the nozzle.

"Maybe you should try to get with Jayleen from Chemistry."

"I don't know who that is."

"The one with the nice rack…"

Edd snapped, "language. You will not treat women like objective… and I don't know who you're talking about." He glanced at the door. "I haven't noticed."

"You have noticed Rae. The girl who you whistled at in the football game. Remember, the one with the cheerleader outfit."

Edd began to sweat. Feeling something dangerous coming from his closet. "Eddy, you must be joking or something… I would never."

And suddenly a recording began to play. He heard himself, "hey good looking…" Edd huffed, "I was drunk… honest…"

Eddy stared confused, "I know you were drunk…"

Edd realized he was trying to say this to Nazz who he assumed was probably seething. "Can we move on from girls." Edd took out plyers and bend a part of the nozzle.

"Why don't you try to date Nazz."

Edd did not even react, "What do you mean?"

"Date Nazz. I tried asking her out and she rejected me. She probably isn't dating Kevin. I mean they probably done stuff before."

"They probably have?" Edd questioned while putting a smaller nozzle onto the bent on.

"I mean they are close. People that close must have done something. Or seen something if you get me."

Edd put the nozzle in tightly. Glaring down now, "Nazz is single. She is probably not looking for a guy like me. She would never date me."

Eddy shrugged, "you never know until you try."

Edd looked to the side, "I know…" he then noticed something. "Where's the air cannister…?"

Eddy looked in shock as he tried to look around the box. "Oh no, I must have… oh no! Did I misplace it… I had one… dang it. Ed must have taken it and threw it somewhere. It can't be in his place… he would have accidentally triggered it. I need to go buy one…"

Edd got up and dusted himself off, "they are all probably closed."

"I think I need to get ones from the hide out. Wait here…"

Edd nodded silently. Eddy packed up some things and ran out of Edd's room. Edd followed until at his entrance door. He heard the front door open and close. Before waiting a bit, Edd finally sighed.

Suddenly he felt a hand creeped up from behind. Feeling Nazz press against him. Her hand on his chest.

"I… never…"

"Nazz, I was only saying what would please Eddy and not make him question anything…"

"But you…" Nazz shook, Edd put his hand over hers. "You looked hurt. Is this how you felt that day when we studied… I would never date you?"

Edd nodded, "yeah… sort of. I thought I was an idiot for thinking about dating you. Fantasies about you and I being in a relationship. And I always compared myself to…"

"Kevin…"

"Yes," Edd admitted in shame. "He's strong and cool. And I'm a double dork."

"You're smarter…"

"Not like that makes a difference…"

Nazz turned him around, "it doesn't. But you're you. Double D… Kevin is Kevin. Kevin is… himself. You don't have to be him or be better." Edd looked away.

"I kissed him once okay. I did like him. He and I hung out a lot. But nothing progressed from that. He wanted to be reckless. I couldn't follow him."

Edd hugged Nazz, lifting her up a bit. "It's not that I care if you did anything with Kevin. I am scared if I couldn't do as much as him."

"Why?"

"Cause I'm just like that. Cause I can't help it. I am always second place."

"But not in this…" Nazz touched his cheek. "You're not second place. You're first. I know you're not my first boyfriend or kiss, but…" she leaned up, "you're my only…"

And with a single tear forming. Edd was silenced with a kiss. All his insecurities could always go away when Nazz kissed him.

"Double D… I like kissing you. That's why I don't stop…"

Edd picked Nazz up. Twirled her around until he laying on his bed and she was on top of him. They kissed, this time he kissed her back.

And when she broke the kiss, "you're not a prize…" Nazz stopped. "That's why I can't reveal we are dating. I will not accept high fives and praises for dating you. I'm not dating you to gain points… I like you… that's why… I can't tell them. Cause I will probably fight them if they took you for a prize."

"Double D…" Nazz giggled as she snuggled on his chest. "You're my joy…"

And in this quiet moment. Double D simply allowed himself to lay down with his girlfriend snuggling above him. "But… you never cat called me."

Edd groaned, "I just… I wouldn't cat call someone like you Nazz. I… know you and care about you."

"But still.. why did you cat call that girl?"

Edd looked to the side, "cause I wanted to be as cool as Kevin." Both snickered before kissing each other.

"Never again cat call another girl, but me…" they kept kissing. Edd turning where was on top. As he slowly began to take off Nazz's sweater.

"Double D, I want to do this. B-But Eddy…"

Edd chuckled, "the hide out is thirty minutes away and it's snowing. He is not coming back for another hour…"

"I want you to take off your own shirt time this time…." Nazz playfully giggled.

"Deal."

Outside Edd's home. Jimmy sighed as he shook his head. Standing up from the slight fall he took. Blushing at what he saw. He suddenly heard his cell.

Picking it up, "hey Sarah!"

"Jimmy, did you return the cannister to Eddy. I don't want that thing in my brother's room ever."

Jimmy took out the air cannister and sighed, "Sarah, I saw something…"

"What was its Jimmy?" Sarah asked.

Jimmy closed his eyes and dropped the cannister, "I saw a white bunny. It looked cute," he said putting the cannister on the ground. "I also put the cannister in Eddy's front door. Heading back~"

"Oh Jimmy… well I bet it was cute. Now come up…. I am making pancakes for us and Ed at this point." Sarah hung up as Jimmy put away the phone.

Jimmy skipped along, only glancing back, "your secret is safe with me… Edd."
