Final chapter of this story and final upload until after Christmas. Let's do this
As the sun rose the following morning Pinkie was the first one to hop out of bed. Jumping out of bed she started hopping around the room waking up all her sisters as well as the Apple siblings.
"It's Hearth's Warming, It's Hearth's Warming everyone! Get up, get up, get up!"
"Ugh five more minutes!" Limestone growled putting her pillow over her head to try to muffle the excited squeals of her younger sister.
"It's Hearths Warming!" Pinkie squealed, bursting into the Apple Siblings room with such force it knocked Applejack off of her bed.
Pinkie didn't wait for any of her family or the Apples to join her as she started bouncing downstairs to the living room. It was right then she stopped and let out a terrified scream that shook the entire farm.
"For lands sake Pinkie," Applejack scolded as she approached Pinkie "I know you are excited and all but you think that you could take it down some notches?"
Spike narration
It was right then that Applejack saw why Pinkie was so upset, and her mouth fell to the floor and her eyes started to get wet. Everything was gone from the gifts to the tree, nothing was there but wires and bare walls as far as the eye could see. Applejack ran downstairs to the kitchen and saw the fridge had been raided bare, there was no rocks or apples, not a crumb to be shared. Applejack fell to the floor, this had to be some sort of trick, who would stoop this low, who would be this sick? Hearth's warming was supposed to be a joyous holiday, not a day to be sad, but as she witnessed her friend crying she started to get mad.
"Who could have done this?" Pinkie cried, "Who would stoop this low?"
Then Applejack remembered the day before, and he believed he might just know so. But before she could answer she heard a scream coming from outside. Applejack and Pinkie both ran outside and looked over Big Mac's shoulders, then that is what they saw what was done to Holders Boulder. It had been vandalized, the entire Pie family was left in shock, as the words "Discord Rules Hearth's Warming Drools" was spray painted on the mighty rock.
End narration
"No!" Limestone cried as she hugged the mighty boulder. "I swear I will avenge you my boulder, I will track down this Discord, and punish him!"
Spike Narration
By now the realization of what was happening had stretched to far more than just the Apples and the Pies, by now every Pony had waken up to the horrible news and all of Equestria could hear the cries. From Canterlot to Ponyville to Filliedelphia and Manehattan, every pony in Ponyville was trying to come to grips on what just had happen. There was no stockings no ribbons no anything at all. Just a bunch of empty floors and wires hanging from the walls. Foals everywhere were cradling their parents and bursting into tears a sight that brought broke Twilight's heart as the cries filled her ears.
End narration
"Who could have done this Spike?" Twilight asked as she stared out of her castle balcony at the sight of the heartbroken ponies.
"Isn't it obvious?" Spike asked "What other pony in all of Equestria hates Heath's Warming enough to steal it." Spike then turned to see the flying books circling their heads. "Or have the power to do this?"
"Twilight!" Rainbow Dash came crashing into the castle, accidentally landing on Twilight and tacking her to the ground. "I've been robbed. Everything is gone!"
"I know Rainbow Dash, all of Ponyville has been robbed."
Spike then belched as a scroll appeared out of his fire. "It's more then just Ponyville," Spike replied as he read the message from Celestia "All of Equestria apparently has been robbed of their Hearth's Warming.
"What are we going to do Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"We are going to get everything back."
Spike Narration
Twilight called an emergency meeting, and she called in all her friends. She was going to fix this, Discords thieving ways was going to end. Equestria was not going without a Hearth's Warming along as she had a say, she was going to fix this, somehow, someway.
End narration
"I say we march over to Discords and take back our stuff by force!" Rainbow Dash suggested at the meeting.
"And how do you reckon we do that?" Applejack replied "Discord probably has more magic then the six of us combined."
"Can't we just magically recreate all of the gifts that everyone wished for this year?" Rarity suggested
"Are you nuts?" Twilight asked "You want me to recreate millions of presents in one day, by myself?"
"Oh gosh no," Rarity laughed, "Obviously me and the other princesses would help to."
Twilight lifted one eyebrow and stared at Rarity with a expression that read "Seriously?"
"Um, I have a suggestion?" Fluttershy started to speak up before Pinkie interrupted her.
"Why don't I cause a distraction while the rest of you snatch everything back. I can bake a giant cake that read "Congratulation's on your successful holiday heist" Before shooting off my confetti canon and doing a little song and dance number for him?"
"I'm pretty sure Discord would expect that you was trying to distract him," Rainbow Dash replied.
"Besides, Discord stole all our food, and your canon remember," Applejack added.
"Oh, right." Pinkie cried.
"Um, girls?" Pinkie quietly spoke again.
Spike Narration
As Fluttershy's friends argued Fluttershy got scared to speak her mind, knowing quite well what happened when they tried to befriend Discord last time. But her friends never gave Discord a fair chance, for they had already made up their mind. There was no way in Equestria they would be down for it a second time. But no, her friends were missing the point, they had forgotten what Hearth's Warming was all about. Feeling a wave of determination running through her she slammed her hooves on the cutie map and gave a shout."
Spike Narration
"I don't blame Discord at all for stealing everything!" Every Pony gasped and the room went silent as all eyes turned to Fluttershy.
"Fluttershy," Twilight gasped "How could you say that?"
"Look at all of you? Making a fuss over tiny stuff, have all of you forgotten what Heath's Warming is all about? It's not about the gifts, or the food, or the pretty decorations. Yeah all of that stuff is nice but that's not the true meaning of the holiday. It's about spending time with your friends, your family. Making fun memories and cute little traditions to spread to your next generations. Discord didn't steal Hearth's Warming, Hearth's Warming is inside of all of us. And he wouldn't have even tried to steal it if you all had given him a fair chance instead of dismissing him like you all did."
"What are you talking about?" Rainbow asked in defense "We gave him a chance?"
"Really?" Fluttershy replied firmly "Because as far as I remember none of you seemed all that excited to have him over, and instead of calmly confronting him when things went wrong you all condemned him. Discord needed a friend and you all turned your back on him. None of you showed Discord the proper Hearth's Warming spirit. If our founders treated each other like you did to Discord yesterday Equestria never would have existed. This is a day to celebrate the Pegasus, unicorns, and Earth Ponies coming together and making peace and defeating the Windigos and yesterday none of you honored that. So yes, I'm glad Discord took everything, because as I see it, none of you showed the Hearth's Warming spirit so you don't deserve to celebrate it."
Fluttershy then stormed out of the room leaving every pony in the room speechless. They had never heard Fluttershy speak to them in that way before. As they stood in their silence pondering Fluttershy's words Rainbow Dash was the first one to speak up.
"You know, some of those things Discord pulled was pretty funny."
"Yeah," Pinkie added "And if they wasn't so destructive those stunts could have been pretty fun."
"You know, those jumping beans would have been good for a good laugh, if they were outside." Applejack replied.
"Fluttershy's right," Twilight realized "We never gave him a fair chance. Not just yesterday either, but ever. We have been so caught up in the things that made Hearth's Warming fun for us, that we forgot what the true meaning behind it was. If we showed Discord what the true meaning was, that it wasn't just about the things but the friends, maybe if we were more of a friend to Discord..."
"He would see what made this holiday so great," Rarity finished. "Oh dear what do we do now?"
"First we apologize to Fluttershy," Twilight answered. "Then we make this right."
Luckily it didn't take long to find Fluttershy, she was at her animal sanctuary giving her animal friends some tasty home made treats.
"I know it's not as much as years past, thanks to most of my food being stolen. But I hope you do like it," Fluttershy replied. The animals all smiled as they dug into the home made treats.
"Fluttershy," Twilight called out. A disappointed expression formed on Fluttershy's face as she turned to face her friends. Twilight could tell that Fluttershy was still upset, and she could only hope that she could make it right.
"You were right Fluttershy, you was right about everything. We should have been more welcoming to Discord, we were sorry. We all got lost in the holiday, we forgot what it was about. Your right we don't deserve anything this Hearth's Warming, but the rest of Equestria does. Help us fix this. You are the only one who gave Discord a chance, you are the only one who can cool his heart. Please Fluttershy, help us save Hearth's Warming, and Discord."
Seeing her friends sincerity Fluttershy hugged her friends. "I forgive you all, and I already know what to do."
"But how?" Rainbow Dash asked
"Discord may have taken everything in sight, but he didn't take everything out of sight."
"Huh?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Follow me my friends." The rest of the mane six followed Fluttershy to her cottage where Fluttershy flew up to her bedroom and reached for something underneath her bed
"Yesterday before I went to bed I made Discord a little something, I was hoping to give it to him today as a Hearth's Warming gift." Fluttershy pulled out a pillow with the words "Too my friend, Discord" stitched on it.
"But how did Discord not find that?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I always keep my doors locked, it's a scary world out there. Besides I doubt Discord would have risked being spotted by digging under ponies beds. Now come on, we got a Hearth's Warming to save."
Spike narration
Back in Discords dimension Discord was starting himself a fire, ready to burn all these gifts to his hearts desire. When all this holiday stuff was gone he could finally have peace, freedom from this holiday, he would finally be at ease. Discord picked up the first gift, not able to hold it back anymore when he suddenly heard a knock on his door.
End narration
"What?" Discord thought out loud as he snapped his fingers, making the fire go away. Opening his door Discord was surprised to see the mane six at his steps. Suddenly Discord started to sweat in fear, knowing that there was only one reason that they could be here.
"Um?" Discord stuttered. "I didn't do it."
Fluttershy let out a small chuckle. "Oh Discord you don't have to lie to us. Besides we aren't mad."
"Your not?"
"No," Twilight replied "In fact we are here to apologize."
"What do you have to apologize for? I was the one who stole everything."
"I know, and I also know the reason why. You have never had a true friend to share this day with. So you don't understand why this holiday is so important to every pony. It's more than just the things that you get, it's about the friends and family you share it with. Hearth's Warming doesn't come a store, Hearth's Warming means a whole lot more."
"If that's true than why does every pony get so caught up about it and goes crazy trying to decorate and by things for every pony."
"I think, over time every pony has forgotten what this day is truly about." Rarity replied
"Well almost every pony," Twilight then signaled to Fluttershy who then approached Discord with a pillow.
"Happy Hearth's Warming Discord."
Spike Narration
As Discord read the message on the Pillow his eyes filled with tears, as he suddenly truly understood Hearth's Warming after all these years. For now Discord's eyes was open and he shot upright.
"I have to fix this, I have to make it right."
Discord grabbed the gifts and he put them in a sack, then he ran outside and started bringing everything back. With a change of heart Discord quickly scurried as he went to work bringing everything back in a hurry.
The mane six split up to help return the gifts rediscovering the spirit of the season as they spread to all of Equastria the true reason for the season. Hearth's Warming shouldn't be commercialized, it shouldn't be used to make a giant sale, for it's not about the presents or the stockings or the bells. It's about the ponies closest to you, from the old to the young, it should be about making memories, it should be about having fun. And remembering the truce that was made by the ponies long ago, that gave birth to this kingdom and defeated the windigos.
And when everything was brought back Twilight invited all of Equstria over for Hearth's Warming dinner. And yes Discord himself was also invited to dinner.
End narration
"I can't believe you actually returned everything back in one day Discord." Fluttershy replied as she sat next to Discord at the dinner table.
"You still need to clean Holders Boulder!" Limestone mentioned.
"What, I think it looks better that way," Discord replied.
"Discord," Fluttershy replied firmly.
"Okay, fine, I'll clean it first thing tomorrow."
Suddenly the portal to the human world opened and a angry Sunset Shimmer marched over to Discord and snatched her phone back.
"The nerves of some ponies." Sunset growled as she walked back through the portal.
"Oops, must have forgot about that one."
Every pony Pony burst out laughing at that and went back to enjoying their feast. Happy that everything was back but mainly happy for their new friend.

Happy Hearth's Warming Every Pony, I bring you good cheers, and wish you good tidings to you throughout the new year.
