Anna woke up. It was the day of the coronation, and she wasn't sure how she felt about it.

Jason had told her that no matter what happened today he would be there for her.

It would be the first time since Elsa locked herself away that her and Elsa would actually see each other.

She had never been alone since Jason had come to live with them.

Jason had come to live with them after his parents were killed.

The king and Jason's father were cousins, and he was the only one who would take Jason in, Jason said that the king was disgusted by the thought of having two daughters and no sons to take the throne.

When Jason had come to live with them, he didn't really fit in. He was older than Elsa and Anna. He had been alive for twelve years and Anna had only been alive for five when he came to live with them.

For the first month he would sit with Anna, have the morning, mid-day, and evening meal with her, and they would sit in the library together, which was more that Elsa, the King or Queen did. Then again. Jason was the one who came and saved her after the bandits had taken her to sell into slavery.

Anna was awoken by a guard.

"Your majesty. Wake up. It isn't safe."

"What? What's going on?"

"The castle is being evacuated. Your family has been evacuated and we will meet up with them."

"Okay."

The guard picked Anna up and carried her out back.

"Did you get her?" A man asked.

"Yes. Now give me the money."

Anna heard a tinkling sound before she was given to the other man. "What's going on?"

"He will take you to your family." The guard said.

"Oh. Okay."

The man took Anna to another man. Who took her to a group of people? Who took her to a house? When they got there it started snowing, and it didn't stop for many days.

After the snow stopped, they couldn't go anywhere. So, they just stayed at the house.

The men weren't very nice. They treated Anna terribly, and would do things to her that made her feel bad. The food was bland and chewy like nothing Anna had ever eaten before, but after the third day she ate it because she was so hungry. The water tasted terrible and made her feel weird. When she woke up her head would hurt, and she would feel sick.

One day she heard them saying that they would be moving out the next day.

The next day Anna heard a knock on the door. When one of the guy's opened the door, he was thrown back into the room and a fountain of blood poured from his neck.

A person walked into the house and began swinging fire pokers at the men. It looked like he was swinging wildly, but with each swing he took out one man. When he turned to see if Anna was okay, she saw that it was Jason.

"Are you all right Anna?" Jason asked.

"I'm scared." Anna cried.

"Don't worry. I'm here. I won't let anything bad happen to you."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

Jason.

Jason woke up the next morning and went to the kitchen to have breakfast with Anna.

When he got there, he couldn't find her. So, he had breakfast, and went to the library to see if she had already eaten and was reading a book.

She wasn't.

He searched the castle in a panic and couldn't find her. He went to talk to the King and Queen to see if they had seen her.

The King and Queen told Jason that Anna was just playing hide and seek and was waiting for him to find her.

He searched the castle for two more days before he asked Elsa.

"Elsa? Have you seen Anna?"

"No." Came the reply from the other side of the door.

"Please Elsa. Anna has been missing for three days. Do you know where she might be?"

"No."

"Are you being serious, or do you just not want to tell me?"

"Go away Jason."

"Fine!" Jason yelled. "If you want to be like that then stay here and be the selfish brat you are."

Jason left the door and walked outside. He looked up and saw the sky blacken and snow being to fall. "Great. That's just great."

He made his way inside and overheard the guards talking.

"Wow." One of the guards said. "Arvid you lucky dog. I can't believe you found 30 pieces of silver by the river."

"I know right. It's amazing. I'm down by the river and then I see this lying in the bushes..."

'Thirty pieces of silver eh? That's about the price of a slave. I think I'll have a talk with Arvid.'

Jason found a fire poker and walked to the guards. "Hey guys." He spoke.

"Hello Jason." They replied.

"So. I was just wondering."

"Yes." A guard by the name of Asger said.

"Isn't 30 pieces of silver the exact amount it costs to buy a slave?"

All the guards looked from Jason to Arvid and back again.

"What are you saying boy?" Arvid said.

"Nothing really, just that Princess Anna disappears and suddenly you find exactly 30 pieces of silver? It seems a bit... odd."

"Arvid?" Asger asked.

"Shut up." Arvid snapped.

"If you will leave us alone for a while." Jason said to the guards.

"He'll kill you." Asger said.

Jason stabbed the fire poker into Arvid's leg tearing the muscle. Then he did the same thing to the other leg. "No. I don't think he will."

The guards watched in horror as Jason's entire demeanor changed. He became so cold and malicious.

"Now. You're going to tell me everything." Jason said looking into Arvid's eyes.

Two days later.

Jason rode his horse across the snow-covered fields to a bar that Arvid told him he met a man who was interested in young girls for the slave trade. He rode to the bar with a fire poker from the castle. When he got there, he found a man matching the description Arvid had given him.

"Where is she!" He demanded grabbing the fire poker from the fire and holding it to the man's face.

"Who?"

Jason stabbed the guy in the arm.

The man howled in pain as the wound was cauterized instantly burning his nerves.

"You know who I'm talking about. The girl you sold into slavery."

The bar got quiet as they looked at the man.

"You did what?" The barkeep asked.

"He sold my sister into slavery." Jason said.

The barkeep looked from Jason to the man. "You best tell him."

"I took her to the river where a man picked her up on horseback. He took her northeast."

Jason ripped the fire poker from the man's arm. "I'll be keeping this." He said as he walked out.

The barkeep nodded at Jason before he looked at the bar patrons. "Hang 'im."

The patrons grabbed the man, took him outside, tied one end of a rope to his neck and the other end of the rope to a horse, swatted the horse on the backside and watched at the horse ran off killing the man.

Jason made his way to the river. He followed the river northeast until he came to a shack. He got off his horse and went to the door and knocked. He grabbed the fire pokers and waited for the door to open.

The door was opened by a man.

Jason lunged at him stabbing him in the throat with one of the fire pokers. When the man fell backwards a spray of blood fountained from his throat. Jason ran in and saw eight more men and Anna. He ran at the first man and stabbed him in the stomach. He ripped the fire poker in man's stomach causing the barbed tip to rip out some of the man's insides.

Jason swung the fire pokers in a way that appeared erratic, but each strike was precise. With each stroke he took down a bandit.

After he killed the bandits, he dropped the fire pokers. "Are you all right Anna?"

"I'm scared." Anna replied.

"Don't worry. I'm here. I won't let anything bad happen to you."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

Jason put Anna on his horse and jumped on behind her. He noticed that Anna wasn't looking very well. He rode to the town he stopped at and ran to the bar.

"Does this town have a doctor?"

"Yes." A man said standing up. He was older, with greying hair and a beard. "I'm a Doctor."

"I found my sister, but she doesn't look well. Please. Can you help us?"

"Let's go." The man said.

They ran outside to Jason's horse and saw that Anna was leaning against it and thrown up.

"Let's get her to my house." The doctor said.

Jason grabbed the reins and walked with the doctor to his house.

"Set her on the table." The doctor said.

Jason laid Anna on the table.

The doctor looked Anna over. "She has the fever." After his examination was over.

"What. No. Is there anything we can do?"

"Have her drink this." The doctor said handing Jason a pouch with dried herbs and berries. "Not it with hot water and get her to drink it. stay away from her and apply a cold towel to her head as often as possible. That is all I can suggest. Perhaps make her more comfortable."

Jason put Anna on his horse and walked her back to Arendelle. 'No. Anna can't die. I've only known her for a few weeks, but I don't care. She can't die.'

When they got back to Arendelle he took Anna up to her room, opened a window allow the air to circulate, applied a cold towel to her forehead and left to make the tea.

"Hi Jason." Asger said. "Any news on Princess Anna?"

"I found her." Jason said.

"That's wonderful news."

"She might die. She's become sick."

"No. I didn't know her very well, but the few times I did meet her, she was nice."

"Yeah. I won't let her die." Jason said running to the library.

Jason tore through every book that was myth or legend. There had to be something. He found every book on the myths and legends of Norway and took them to Anna's room. He had to find something to help Anna.

Once he was back in Anna's room, he locked the door behind him so that he wouldn't be bothered.

He went to the kitchen and made the herbal tea for Anna and brought it up. He changed the towel so it was cold again and held Anna's head up so she could drink. 'Don't die on my Anna.' He begged.

He began reading. He would only leave the room to get more cold water for the cold towels, hot water for the herbal tea, and something to eat for himself.

He changed the cold towel and gave Anna some of the tea before going back to reading.

"Magic flowers, witches, trolls. Trolls? I don't know if it will work, but I'll try anything."

He changed the cold towel, gave Anna some of the herbal tea, and left to find the trolls.

He rode up the mountain to where the book said the trolls were.

"Hello!" He called putting. "Is anyone there? Please! I need help for my sister!"

Rocks began rolling towards him. He drew a fire poker and pointed at the rocks.

"Calm down my boy." One of the rocks said after he changed into a small humanoid. "You said that you need help for your sister?"

"Yes. I'm not sure what to do, and she has the fever."

"What do your parents say?"

"They don't care. She was taken two weeks ago. I've been trying to find a cure for the last week, and I found you. You're my last hope of saving my sister."

"I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can do. We can only work with magic not illness."

"I can't lose her." Jason said falling to his knees. "Please. Isn't there anything you can do to help me?"

"There is one thing." A female troll said. "If you can find the Currant fruit and make tea with it. You might be able to help your sister."

"Thank you. Where is the Currant fruit located?"

"Farther up the mountain."

"Thank you." Jason said jumping on his horse and riding farther up the mountain.

"Poor boy." The older troll said. "I hope you're right about that."

"I gave him hope. Which is what he was lacking."

Jason.

Jason kept an eye out for a fruit bearing tree. He found a small shop called 'Wandering Oaken's trading post and Sauna.' Jason walked in.

"Hello." The chipper man said.

"Hi." Jason replied. "Do you by chance know where I can get Currant fruit?"

"Oh yeah." The man said. "My son and I just picked a whole bunch."

"Could I buy all of it?"

"All?"

"Yes. My sister is sick, and I was told that currant tea might help."

"I will gladly sell it all to you, but it's a lot." The man said. "Oaken! Bring out the Currant fruit!"

A boy a little older than Jason, maybe fifteen or sixteen, came out with a large basket of berries. He showed his dad the berries.

"Here you go." The man said handing Jason the basket. It was filled to the brim with berries.

"Thank you." Jason said tossing a bag of coins on the countertop. "Keep the change if there is any."

Oaken looked at the bag on the table. It was more than he'd ever seen for one purchase before and was worth three times as much as the berries would have cost. "He must be in a hurry if he doesn't want the change." Oaken said.

"Yoo-hoo." Oaken said.

"What is it Oaken?"

"Just wanted to say that we had a big berry blowout before he bought all the berries."

"I know son, I know."

Jason.

Jason hurried back to the castle as fast as he could. When he got there, he ran up to Anna's room. He changed the cold towel, which was now warm, had her drink some of the herbal tea, and began making the Currant tea.

"Please let this work?" Jason begged as he helped Anna drink the Currant tea.

Jason waited, and waited, and waited. He waited until he couldn't keep his eyes open any longer and drifted off to sleep.

Later

"Wake up Jason!" Anna yelled.

Jason jolted awake.

"Hi Jason." Anna said.

"Anna!" Jason cries running to her and hugging her tightly. "Oh, thank you." Jason said. "Thank you."

"Who are you talking to?" Anna asked.

"Whoever I have to thank for your safe return."

"Oh. Okay."

"Let's see if Greta will give you a bath."

"Okay." Anna said jumping over to him and taking his hand.

Jason and Anna found Greta, and Jason handed Anna over to her.

"Thank you for being so good Princess Anna." Greta said.

"What?" Jason asked with a lump of rage in his throat.

"We haven't heard a peep out of her for a week now." Greta said.

"She was kidnapped two weeks ago and was sick all last week."

"Oh. Really? Why didn't you say anything?"

"I told Asger."

"Who?"

"Asger. The guard."

"Oh. I'm not allowed to talk to the guards. That is for the King and Queen to do."

"Where are they?" Jason asked with barely controlled fury.

"In the study I think."

Jason had to calm down. He went and took a bath before getting into new clothes, and he went to the study where he found the King and Queen.

"Uncle." Jason said with barely concealed ire.

"Yes nephew?" The King said.

"Did you realize that Anna had been kidnapped?"

"What?" The Queen asked.

"Yes. Anna was kidnapped and was going to be sold into slavery."

"How did you find this out?"

"Don't you remember when I came to you and asked if Anna was here two weeks again?"

"Yes. It turns out that one of the guards sold her for 30 pieces of silver."

"Why does that figure sound familiar?" The King asked.

"IT'S THE PRICE OF A SLAVE!" Jason yelled. "HE SOLD HER INTO SLAVERY!"

"She's royalty. He could have gotten more."

Jason's eye twitched. "You- You- You can't be serious!" Jason stammered out of rage. "You are talking about Anna like she means nothing to you!"

"She's Elsa's replacement..."

"You... did not... just call Anna a replacement!"

"If you care about her so much then you can take care of her."

"That's what I've done for the last two weeks!"

"There you go. Keep her. She's yours."

Jason ran to his room and closed the door. "RRRAAAAHHHH!" He yelled as loud as he could. "Bastard! Son of a bitch! Stupid jack ass!"

There was a knock on the door and Kai walked in. "Is everything all right sir?"

"No." Jason seethed. "Everything is not all right."

"What is wrong sir?"

Jason told Kai what happened.

"Ah. Yes. His majesty wanted a son, but the Queen gave him two daughters."

"So, he doesn't even care what happens to Anna?"

"I'm afraid that I can't say if he does or doesn't."

"Can't or won't?"

"Can't sir."

"I'm going to go blow off some steam."

"Are you going to kill the guard who sold Princess Anna?"

"No. Death is too good for him."

Over the next ten years Anna and Jason had as much fun as they could have. Jason knew about parkour and free running, and he taught Anna. He taught her how to fight with swords and her body. By the age of fifteen she was as skilled as any of the guards in weapons combat and was as skilled as Jason in hand-to-hand combat. They took many trips to the mountains and had a lot of fun running through the forest.

After one such trip they returned home to heat that the King and Queen had died while crossing the ocean."

Jason didn't cry for them, and whenever no one was around he would spit on the Kings grave. He hated the King for what he had said about Anna. He hated him with every fiber of his being.

When Anna was seventeen, he helped her make her own weapons. He was Leary if her choice in weapon, but he couldn't argue the effectiveness of them.

The day of the coronation.

Jason was standing next to Anna at the coronation. It was the first time that he'd seen Elsa. She had white, blond hair with blue eyes. Her complexion was fair with a pink tint to her cheeks and freckles. She was about 5' 5" tall and feared something. Jason didn't know what it was, but she looked afraid. Throughout the years he'd become observant of everything he could and was able to observe anything about anyone. Some of the royals were here with other intentions than to wish their respects to the new Queen of Arendelle. There were some who just wanted to try and court the new queen and princess. 'If they think they are going to make any progress they are in for a surprise. I May have issues with Elsa, especially since she didn't come check on Anna at all during the three years after her parents died, she could have at least said hi.' But Jason wouldn't let anyone try to court her if they just wanted to get inside her dress. 'Oh gosh.' Jason nearly gagged. The thought of some of the guys her in Elsa's dress.

Anna nudged Jason in the ribs. "What?" She whispered in a voice only he could hear.

"I was just thinking that I wouldn't let anyone court you or Elsa if all they wanted to do was get inside your dresses, and I nearly gagged at the thought of them in your dresses." Jason whispered back.

Anna gagged at the thought as well.

"We are supposed to be watching the coronation."

"What's Elsa so afraid of?"

"So, you noticed it too?"

"Yeah. She's super tense."

"Well. As long as she doesn't puke all over her dress, she should be good."

Anna went to say something, but the priest interrupted her.

"I now pronounce you. Queen Elsa!"

The crowd burst into applause.
