I can't believe you haven't written to me yet! Don't you miss me? Have you already forgotten about your friend, Wei Ying?

Shijie said you might be waiting for me to write to you first, so here I am! I bet you've been really lonely without me there, right?

Aww, Lan Zhan! I miss you too!

Much as I enjoyed your company, I'm glad to be back in Lotus Pier. Cloud Recesses is just so restrictive! It's hard to have fun when there are so many rules!

I hope you'll consider visiting me here - there are just so many things I want to show you, and so many fun things I want us to do together! If you come, I bet you'll have a really good time!

I've gotten back to training all of my adorable little shidis, and I'm working on creating some new talismans during my free time. The library at Cloud Recesses gave me a ton of new ideas and methods to try.

I've been rereading some of the works of Ouyang Xiu lately; in particular focusing on poetry meant to be sung and accompanied by the guqin. Perhaps when we see each other again you'll play for me if I sing for you.

(Can you tell I've been thinking of you often?)

I've included a couple of paintings in this letter; one's a picture of my beautiful shijie, and the others are just some pretty little things I drew recently that I thought you might like to see.

This happened to san-shidi while we were fishing - the turtle came right up from under the water to bite the fish off of his line! The look on his face was so funny!
