"Did you guys seriously pack your practice stuff too?" Ember asks as we all slip on our practice shirts. Every single one of them said "Kitsune" on it, the name fox was quite fitting to us actually, though. We could adapt to any situation. Many, though, found it weird how none of us play for a high school. Our couch, Isamu-senpai, hired us after she saw us play into the team called Kitsune. The team only consisted of people who were in the same year as us and we wanted to join, as we had the closest bond, making us all the more ferocious. But, when we agreed to be hired by our couch, this also meant we were technically agreeing that we would play volleyball for our profession.
We all headed to gym 1 to practice together, although it was late, but as we all approached, the familiar sound of shoes squeaking never came.
"Hey, skinny, with the glasses." At Kuroo's words, Karasuno's middle blocker turned to face them.
"Can you maybe, jump a few blocks for us? We can't seem to find the ladies." Kuroo continued
"Sorry, I'm all done for the day," Tsukishima said.
", You have a good night." He added, while bowing.
"What?" Buth Kou and Kuroo blanched in surprise at this.
"But, there's no point in practicing our spiking if we don't have any blockers, and like he said, we can't find the ladies. C'mon" Kou added.
"Why does it have to be me? What about your own guys? What about your sister?" He asked, gesturing towards Kou.
"Naah, Bokuto's the worst, his spiking practice goes on forever, it's like he never stops. Plus, Arisu doesn't block anymore. She can't bring herself to do it." Akaashi interjected.
"And I've been too busy training this bumbling idiot over here." Kuroo said, earning a long grong and list of complaints from the new kid, Lev, and Kuroo spitting back at him about Nekoma's starting line-up.
"He may not look it, but this guy is one of the top five aces in the nation, he'll be some awesome practice for you." Kuroo added to their already large statement.
"Yeah I think he's still upset that he's not still in the top three anymore, and that his sister got moved up to the top three." Akaashi interjects.
"There, there." Kuroo says, apathetically.
"Why would you guys say all that nice stuff just to tear me down?" Koutarou fires back.
"Don't worry, bro. The pain goes away at some point. You'll just have to learn to live in my shadow." I saw mockingly, notifying them that we had arrived.
"Now we have some blockers." Kuroo states.
"Anyway, skinny jeans, you are a middle blocker, don't you think you outta practice your blocking ounce in a while?" Kuroo says with a sinister smile on his face. At this, the string-bean enters the gym kinda ticked, and probably pissed off.
"Mind if we practice with you guys?" Em asked Kou.
"I'm not exactly sure string-bean can handle two aces alone!" I exclaimed.
"Yoko and Aki can help out string-bean with Yua, and Em and I can help you, airhead! Oh, you too Akaashi. Don't worry about Ami and Aiya, though, they said they needed a special kind of practice,I think it was the owl-jump?" I said earning confused looks from the guys.
"We are practicing a move the crazy fox helped us come up with, but man am I glad our crazy couch ain't here, eh?" Aiya asks as the team hums in agreement.
"But, before you help them out, can you help us a bit with the owl-jump set up?" Ami asks.
"Sure." I said as I walked over to them.
"The basic steps are, when you spike, instead of swinging your arms at the run-up, you delay the swing until just after you jumped, and then you whirl your arm around in a circle, got it?" They both nod. I then walk over to the others and my expression turns to steel.
"Okay, let's play some volleyball."
A/N
-I know this is kinda short, but I will try to update again tomorrow
-All the girls were friends in junior high, and in their last year they were offered to be hired as a professional team called Kitsune, which means fox, and play in the inter-high torney while they are still in high school, and play professionally when they graduate, hence why they all have to be in the same grade
-Arisu no-longer middle blocks much in fear of getting hurt and hurting her brother again
