December had once again come around in New Mobotropolis. And of course, that meant: It was almost Christmas time again. This time around, Sally had organized a Christmas party at Castle Acorn for the Freedom Fighters. Sally was currently at Castle Acorn to help her family with the preparations for the Christmas party.
"Elias, can you pass me the other end of the Christmas lights, please?" Sally asked her brother, Elias Acorn with her iconic light smile.
Elias smiled back and nodded. "Of course, Sally." He replied as he handed Sally one end of the line of Christmas lights while he held the other end, and the two of them hung the line of Christmas lights above a doorway in Castle Acorn.
Elias' wife, Megan Acorn was currently helping her mother in-law, Alicia Acorn with setting the table for the Christmas dinner in the dining room of Castle Acorn. "Oh, I really hope that the Freedom Fighters will like the Christmas dinner that the chefs are preparing for them!" Megan couldn't help but blurt out in excitement for the Christmas party.
Alicia smiled and nodded. "I do hope so myself." She replied. "I hate for the chefs to have to work during Christmas, but it's a good thing that we've invited the families of the chefs and the other castle workers over for tonight's Christmas party as well. That way, they won't have to worry about celebrating Christmas alone." She replied to Megan.
Megan nodded back. "It was a clever and kind solution to the problem, Mrs. Acorn." She replied back as she and Alicia continued to set the table for the Christmas dinner.
Meanwhile, the Freedom Fighters had arrived at the front doors of Castle Acorn, all dressed fancy for the Christmas party. Even Sonic was dressed up fancy, as he wore a white dress shirt with a black tuxedo jacket and a black bowtie, although he didn't wear any pants with this, to still retain some of his rebellious nature, as he put it himself.
Tails wore a white dress shirt, a light blue tuxedo jacket with light blue tuxedo pants and a white bowtie. "This is so exciting! It was a good idea of Aunt Sally to celebrate Christmas with the royal family at Castle Acorn this year!" He said with a beaming smile.
Rotor smiled and nodded in agreement. He wore a white two piece tuxedo with a white bowtie and a white top hat. "It sure was. Not many Mobians have such a privilege, so we are doubly blessed." He replied to Tails.
"Ah know, right?! We are, like, triply blessed to be able to celebrate Christmas with Sal an' her family at their palace this year!" Bunnie said with an excited grin. She wore a red glitter dress.
Antoine smiled and nodded. "Oui, mon amour. I can't wait to see 'ow Sally and 'er family 'ave transformed Castle Acorn into Christmas party central." He said as he held Bunnie close. He wore a black tuxedo with a black bowtie and a red rose on the collar.
"I agree that this is really exciting! We're going to have our best Christmas yet!" Amy squealed in excitement. She wore a black dress with black pumps.
Sonic grinned and gave the other Freedom Fighters a thumbs up. "I'm sure that Sally and her family have outdone themselves for tonight's Christmas party." He assured them as the guards noticed the Freedom Fighters and let them inside. They were soon welcomed by Elias and Megan.
"Hello, hello! Welcome! We're all so glad you could make it!" Megan told the Freedom Fighters with a kind smile.
"Yes, yes! Come on in!" Elias added as him and Megan guided the Freedom Fighters through the halls of the castle before they ended up in a lounging room that the Freedom Fighters could relax in until Christmas dinner was ready.
"Alright, you all just wait here until Christmas dinner is ready. Sally will join you guys shortly. She's changing into her formal wear." Megan told the Freedom Fighter.
"Alright, thank you, Queen Megan." Tails replied with a smile.
"Anytime, Tails." Megan replied with a smile.
"Well, we must be off to help the others with some other business relating to the party, but we hope you'll have a nice Christmas party." Elias said with a smile before him and Megan walked off. Not too long after that, Sally arrived in the room as well, dressed in a white evening gown with white heels.
"Wow, Aunt Sally! You look beautiful!" Tails said with a beaming smile.
"Yeah, this looks great on you, Sally!" Rotor added with a smile.
"Ain't that cute, 'Toine?" Bunnie asked her husband, referring to Sally's outfit.
"Not as cute as you, mon amour." Antoine replied as he kissed Bunnie on the lips.
"Awwww, thanks, 'Toine!" Bunnie grinned as she returned the kiss.
Amy smiled at Sally's outfit. "You really do look good in that outfit, Sally!" She complimented the chipmunk's outfit.
Sally blushed and smiled at the Freedom Fighters' compliments. "Thanks, guys..." She replied happily.
Sonic chuckled as he walked up to Sally and snuggled with her. "This outfit makes you nice and soft to snuggle with..." He told Sally, who giggled in response.
"Oh, you..." Sally replied before the couple noticed a mistletoe hanging above their head. "Well, shall we~?" She asked the cobalt blue hedgehog.
"Mhm~." Sonic replied as him and Sally kissed. Soon after, the Freedom Fighters were all relaxing in the lounge. Tails was playing with Amy, Rotor was talking with Antoine and Bunnie and Sonic and Sally sat on a couch together.
"Merry Christmas, honey." Sally lightly smiled at Sonic.
"You Merry Christmas as well, Sally." Sonic smiled back as him and Sally kissed once again.
