Kamala sighed as she, Dante and Daisy walked through the night lit streets. They had just setted off to find anyone from, whatever this group is.
Kamala: Who would of thought searching for a member would be the hard part.
Dante: Yeah...you think the first part of a plan would be easy.
So far they had not seen anything out of the ordinary. It wasn't until they saw a building on fire and a group of pyromaniacs running off, all of them being mutants. The heroes were about to attack them when a figure jumped in front stunning them. He then called over to another and they teleported away as mutants and regulars came out of nowhere dousing the flames. A part of the building fell over and was about to hit the three heroes when a mutant grabbed it, lifting in the air as they were taken away by one of the normal people.
Man: Are you alright? I remember seeing you at our rally and i was hoping you were not injured?
Kamala: Y-Yes...thank you very much...we were on our way to find you to join but all this happened.
Mutant: Thank goodness we were doing our duties for the night. Tell us, what are your names.
Kamala: Kamala. This is my boyfriend Dante and my friend Daisy. We were wondering if you will let us join.
Man: Of course, we'll take you three away from the danger.
Within a second the mutant teleported them and away from the now doused building, leaving no trace of anyone being there.
Needless to say they did not expect to find themselves in a manor that looked like a city indoors. Children were running around and playing, adults talking to eachother, it looked like a peaceful place.
Kamala: Whoa...
Man: Beautiful isn't it.
Mutant: Oh here he comes!
The heroes turned to see a man whose face was covered. He was dressed to the nines of dark green, and he had a tail with a lantern on the end swaying. With him was a man also dressed fine.
Woman: Light Guider! We found three who wish to join us. They were almost taken out from a group of naysayers.
Light Guider: Oh you poor dears, are you alright?
They were surprised in his calm generous voice.
Dante: We are thank you. Are you-the leader?
Light Guider: No no, not leader. I'm the guide to a prosperous future. My name is Light Guider. The man right he is my closet Friend, Mind Scape.
Mind Scape: *Chest bow* Pleasure to meet you. Welcome to Preacetria.
Daisy: Preacetria?
Women: That would be my idea as I own this place.
Kamala: You OWN all this!
Women: Yes, my name is Marie Ann Heartwing.
Dante: hold on! Heartwing?! As in the owner of the family own Heartwing airlines?
Marie Ann: Yes, when i meet Light Guider and Mind Scape as well as their ideas for a brighter future for everyone no matter who they are i signed up immediately.
Light Guider: So she graciously brought this place and we have made it home. We're so happy that you wish to join our family. But for now, you must be tired after the long day you had. Mind Scape, will you please take them to the living quarters.
Mind Scape: This way my friends.
The three fallowed him, surprise on how accepting everyone was...how in the world would they want with Doreen? What could the even want with her in the first place.
With Doreen...
Doreen was watching TV when she heard the mail slot on the door opened.
Doreen: Alright, who is this?
?: Someone who was locked in cage but now has final flown to freedom.
Doreen actually got up at that.
Doreen: In-Impossible, how?
?: I was freed by my shackles and was reborn. You will be freed too from the pains of hatred.
Doreen: I just...what are you talking about? I'm completely fine...surprisingly fine for being in here.
?: Poor thing, if this continues you might not get better...unless...
He trailed off, leaving Doreen confused.
?: Guess that will be in case you don't get better. I wished to visit you before my introduction the day after tomorrow. Sleep way Squirrel Girl.
With that he left...leaving Doreen speechless. So, he was back...and now apart of this crazy mad house.
