It was Christmas Eve at the residence of Cream the Rabbit, her mother Vanilla and their pet Chao, Cheese. Cream was wearing a white dress shirt with a black tuxedo jacket, a black skirt, a red bowtie and black dress shoes. Vanilla was wearing a red glitter sweater with a long black skirt and red pumps. Cheese was wearing a small black top hat with a small black tuxedo with a red bowtie.
"This is going to be a really fun Christmas, mother! Especially because I invited a special guest over for this year's Christmas!" Cream said in excitement at the mention of her special guest.
Vanilla smiled and nodded to her daughter. "It was very nice of you to invite him over for Christmas, Cream. His friends were going to celebrate Christmas elsewhere and didn't have anywhere to celebrate Christmas himself, so I can only imagine how happy he was when you offered him to celebrate Christmas with us." She told Cream.
"Chao, chao!" Cheese added happily. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
"Oh! That should be him!" Cream beamed as she ran up to the door to answer it. As she opened it, Charmy Bee was floating there, dressed in a white dress shirt, a red smoking jacket and red dress pants with white dress shoes.
"Hi, Cream! Again, I'm so glad you invited me to celebrate Christmas with you and your mother!" Charmy told Cream happily.
"Don't forget Cheese, you're celebrating Christmas with him too!" Cream corrected the young bee.
"Of course! I'm happy to celebrate Christmas with you too, Cheese!" Charmy told the Chao with a kind smile.
"Cha-chao!" Cheese replied with a beaming smile.
"Well, come on in! It's rather cold outside!" Cream said as she let Charmy inside and closed the door again. "Mother is currently busy with Christmas dinner, but until then, what do you want to do?" She then asked the young bee.
Charmy thought about it. "How about we watch a Christmas movie? I brought over one of my favorites, Elmo Saves Christmas!" He said as he showed a dvd copy of Elmo Saves Christmas.
Cream smiled at that. "Of course! Let's do that!" She said with a beaming smile as she, Charmy and Cheese rushed over to the television and Charmy put the dvd in the dvd player, then they began to watch the movie. As soon as they finished the movie, Cream's mother Vanilla called for dinner. Cream, Charmy and Cheese rushed over to the dinner table and sat themselves down as Vanilla served the turkey. After doing the usual dinner rituals that Cream and her family always do, they proceeded to have Christmas dinner, and once Christmas dinner was over, Cream and Charmy were sitting on the couch in the living room together underneath a blanket with a mug of hot chocolate in their hands.
"Thanks for inviting me over for Christmas, Cream. I couldn't have found a better way to spend Christmas this year myself." Charmy told Cream with a smile.
"Anytime, Charmy. Mother always told me that Christmas is for giving, and I want to give those I care about joy for Christmas, and I think it's safe to say that I succeeded in giving you joy for Christmas." Cream replied, returning the smile. They then looked up to see a mistletoe hanging above the couch.
"Hey, what's that strange plant hanging above the couch?" Cream asked in confusion.
"Oh! Vector told me about this plant! It's called a mistletoe, and apparently, when two people are under a mistletoe, they have to give each other a kiss on the lips!" Charmy replied.
"Is that true, Mother?" Cream asked her mother as she looked over to her.
Vanilla smiled and nodded. "Charmy is right, Cream. It's an old Christmas tradition." She told her daughter.
Cream and Charmy looked at each other and blushed. "Well, if it's a tradition..." Cream said before Charmy smiled and gave her a kiss on the lips.
Vanilla sighed happily. "My daughter's first kiss..." She said with a smile, proud at watching her daughter learn about the world, one step at a time.
