Gwen was looking over the medical records of orphans that were here. So far things have been good so far, the hospital staff were really nice as were the patients. She paused when she saw a folder from a couple years ago with a mutant on it.
Gwen: Who is this?
She decided to take it with her for further investigation. Maybe this could help her and her friends with this investigation. For now, it was back to work.
Kamala and Dante were snuggled in the bed. They were given a room together due to the fact the people they had met knew they were a couple and once Mind Scape heard this information, he gave them a couples room. Of course Dante was red in the face a bit at that, but he had to admit it was nice they were giving them a room together.
Kamala: This has been strange, so many mutants and not mutants living together. And the Light Guider...he seems...
Dante: Calm, collective, smooth...
Kamala: Not as smooth as you...
Dante chuckled as he brought her closer.
Dante: Of course i am...
Kamala: I just hope all goes well...we never faced something like this.
Dante: We'll just have to do our hardest to find out.
With that Kamala leaned in close as the two fell asleep.
Daisy had to admit these living quarters were nice...really nice. Beds were soft and smooth, food was warm and delicious, not to mention everyone was on equal grounds and not killing or hurting eachother like in most of the situations she or the others were in. Still, she felt something was a bit weird and wrong. Some of them had really big pupils. REALLY big pupils.
Daisy: They look high...wait, are they?
Daisy decided to not think about that idea until they had proper evidence. For now, she will just rest.
Doreen's parents were fast asleep as Rayshaun checked on them before heading back home. He hoped Doreen was safe and well, he knew she would be able to handle whatever is going on until they rescued them.
Rayshaun: Doreen, just hold on...we'll find out what's going on and find you. Till then, I'll make sure your parents are safe.
With that he continued his walk home.
Mind Scape was reading over the paper work when Light Guider came in.
Mind Scape: Guider, is everything alright?
Light Guider: Just a bit tired Grimes. Long day from spreading the word, not to mention preparing for the ceremony of our new friend. He's come such a long way and I want it to be perfect.
Grimes got up placing a hand on his friend shoulder.
Grimes: You should get some rest, you need to get sleep too.
Light Guider chuckled.
Light Guider: What would I do with out you.
With that Grimes lead his friend to his room to rest for the night.
Everyone was asleep. Either waiting for the next day or figuring what to do next. If anything, tomorrow was another day for surprises...no matter what surprises that are coming to everyone.
