The next day came as Kamala, Dante and Dasiy met up, the building was abuzz with the residents living here. Since they were new, not to mention looking into this place for clues, they decided to look around the place. Marie Ann volunteered to show them around their new 'home'.
Marie Ann: I am glad you have decided to join us! We've been working so hard these past years and our little humble abode so were so glad more have join us!
Dante: You have been doing this for a while?
Marie Ann: Oh yes, we have been doing this since the great battle of worlds.
Kamala: That's a while.
Marie Ann: Throughout the years we have begun to expand. We now have stores, trade deals, gardens of food and plants, weddings and celebrations, we even have schools for our young ones-
Daisy: You-have children here?
Marie Ann: Why yes, we had wedding and couples having children, as well as saving the orphans from the streets. Our home is open to all life, mutant or not.
The three heroes were in awe at the answer. They never thought that these people would rescue children from the streets, let alone having couples no matter who they were have children and accept them. So far nothing out of the ordinary...SO FAR.
Marie Ann: Of course there are adults we save that are injured mentally and emotionally.
Dante: What happens to them?
Marie Ann: Light Guider couldn't let them suffer, so he sends them to the healing wings to heal their minds.
Okay, now that sounds suspicious.
Daisy: Have you meet some of those individuals?
Marie Ann: Why yes, the other day I was saved by one of those Avenger heroes, a squirrel one...poor this was overworking herself and she passed out. Light Guider saw her hurting so we had to save her.
They DO have Doreen.
Marie Ann: Actually, she's the second Avenger hero saved by us.
Kamala: You have another?
Marie Ann: Why yes, he is about to make his debut to our society very soon. I hope you join us in the celebration.
They nodded, curious as to WHO would want to join a cult...who for some reason have the right ideas, just the strange way of doing it. And the healing wing, RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE!
Meanwhile...
Rayshaun: You found a file on an orphan Mutant for years ago?
Gwen nodded on the screen. She had made sure to call him first thing when she had free time.
Gwen: Yep, looks like he was a victim of some kind of involvement, what it was I still have to research. How are yours and Doreen's parents?
Rayshaun: Doreen's mother is preparing her hammer, heh i can see where Doreen gets her spark from he mother is a charm.
Gwen chuckled at that, even with her daughter in a strange situation her parents are making the best of the situation...even hoping to get involved when the time comes.
Rayshaun: My parents are ready for a fight too...*blushes a bit in a bit of embarrassment* My father wants to make sure his future daughter in law is safe.
Gwen chuckled even more.
Gwen: Keep me posted, I'll do more research on this orphan. They may be a clue to this whole situation.
Rayshaun nodded.
With Doreen...
So far nothing bad had happened to her. She was mostly given information on what this place was. She was at a very confusing predicament. On one had they technically kidnapped her, on the other hand they kinda saved her. Another thing was their goal, sure it was right thing to do but she was pretty sure this situation she was in was technically not right.
Doreen: Why is it that we find ourselves in these weird situation I will never know. And how did he get involved in this?
?: You Avengers seem to always get into very strange situations?
Doreen jolted up and looked around.
Mind Scape (Grimes): Easy Doreen, it's just me checking on you. How are you feeling?
Doreen: Confused...
Mind Scape (Grimes): As expected...are you still hurt?
Doreen: N-nooooo? I have no idea what that means?
Mind Scape voice sighed.
Mind Scape (Grimes): Doreen, you have to heal yourself in order to get better.
Doreen sighed in more confusion. She was getting red flags all over those words, and she did not want to know what the other alternative was if she did not get 'better'.
