"Well?" Cassy shrugged, looking at Frank expecting him to finally tell her the important information he called her over for. He seemed nervous, was pressing his lips together and looking around, trying to avoid eye contact.
"I found your family." He let out and Cassy´s eyes widened. She didn´t know what to say or feel. Ever since she found out she was adopted she wondered who her parents were, how they would be or what they would look like.
"And? Are they…are they nice, are they successful or- or- or are they poor? Are they dead? I mean…" she stuttered confused and felt like suddenly she didnt want to know. "No, no, no wait..I- I- I dont want to know. I mean what if theyre bad people, what if they are convicted? What if they-"
"I´m your brother." Frank cut her off and suddenly it went silent. Everything seemed to turn upside down and all Cassy could see were Franks tearful, regretful eyes.
"What?" she whimpered quietly as she turned to the coffee table to avoid breaking down and shake off the feeling like she was lost in the dark space she saw.
"The moment I first saw you, you seemed familiar so I thought maybe we hooked up but it wasnt that and when you told me about coming here to find your family, I had the suspicion." He explained. Cassy started taking quicker and deeper breaths and her eyes wandered around the table. "Then you told me about this dream you had and that you thought it might be a memory and…it was…it happened."
"I told you this weeks ago!" she got angry, feeling betrayed by who she thought truly wanted to help her.
"I wanted to have proof first…its not exactly every day you see your long-lost sister again. But then you showed me those pictures and…" Frank went to the coffee table where the pictures lay and picked them up, showing Cassy a picture of her two-year old self in a yard with a blue and pink ball in her hands.
"Did you do the DNA test?" Cassy asked and he shook his head. "Then how can you be sure?"
"Just look at this picture you gave me." Cassy looked at it with tearful eyes when Frank held up the same picture only bigger with more of the scene in it. It was him as a child, sitting on a chair in the back, eating a donut. "They cut me out of the picture you had. But it is the same." Cassy started laughing as she walked a few steps back to create some space between them.
"Why didnt you tell me sooner?" she scoffed angrily and Frank looked away to avoid letting the tears out.
"I havent seen you since you were three…I didnt know what to say…I tried looking for you but…I just couldnt…I tried to stop them but…I was just a kid myself." He stuttered defending himself
"Is that why Annalise took me back in? Into the Keating 6? Is that why she picked me in the first place?" Cassy cried and Frank really wanted to comfort her but felt like he was out of line.
"I dont know why she picked you. I didnt tell her about it. Im sorry, I-" Frank had to hold back his own tears.
"No! I dont care what you have to say!" Cassy cut him off and ran her fingers through her hair.
"I know Ive been a jerk to you. I didnt know how to cope with this myself. I know you dont want to hear this but…I really am sorry." He tried to pull her into a hug but she pushed him away.
"No! Just leave me alone." She shouted taking her things and running out the door to her car. She got in throwing her bag onto her passengers seat and crying out loud. She was angry, rightfully upset and her world felt like it was crashing down on her. She started the engine and geared into first, knowing where she had to go.
Cassy knocked at Annalises door, desperate for clarity. Her mascara was smeared and her eyes red and puffy from all the crying. After several knocking, she tried opening the door and to her surprise it wasn´t locked. She went inside and everything seemed quiet.
"Hello?" she sobbed peeking into the living room. "Annalise?" she shouted a bit louder. Suddenly there was a rumble upstairs, followed by a sharp scream. Cassy ran to the stairs while she heard fast footsteps approaching from the first floor and saw Michaela and Laurel run away from something. Just as she reached the bottom of the stairs, she saw a large body falling down, landing right next to her with a painfully loud crack. Her eyes were fixated on Sams body before she looked up and saw the two women, Connor, Wes and Rebecca standing by the stairwell, looking down to her. Slowly the group approached her and they all walked around the body, not saying a word.
"What did you do?" Cassy suddenly spoke up and all eyes were set on her.
"We need to call an ambulance." Michaela stuttered as all walked into the living room.
"Hes dead, you killed him Michaela." Connor stated, whilst Cassy still didnt understand what was going on.
"Me? He- he was coming at us." She stuttered anxiously and Cassy ran to the front door, locking it, her eyes fixated on the body.
"Yeah and he was alive, until you shoved him over the railing." Connor seemed freaked out but he was laughing at all of this.
"I was protecting Laurel." Michaela defended herself, feeling guilt and shame coming over her, while Laurel agreed with her.
"Guys…what happened, why are you here?" Cassy interrupted their discussion and the others turned to Rebecca.
"Rebecca was stealing private stuff off of Sams computer. Thats a felony." Laurel meant, and Cassy looked at the accused woman who was sitting on the couch in a crouched position.
"Why were you stealing files?" Cassy asked but Rebecca didnt answer.
"Sam killed Lila." Wes admitted and Cassy looked at him and then to the body.
"And because we were all helping her, we could be charged with felony murder." Laurel explained.
"No, no, no, no, no, no prosecutor would do that, we were defending ourselves." Connor continued standing up for himself but Laurel disagreed.
"We broke into his house, he was defending himself." She tried to reason with him. Cassy looked around, Michaela was crying, saying she just came to bring back the trophy and Wes was walking around watching the whole spectacle.
"I didnt break in." Cassy suddenly spoke up and everyone got quiet. "I didnt steal any files, I didnt push anyone over a railing, I…I wasnt a part of this."
"Do you think I wanted to be a part of this?" Connor hissed. "This is all on her." He pointed towards Rebecca who meant she didnt ask for anyones help. Connor and Michaela continued fighting over if they should call someone or not, Rebecca went away to look at Sam and Laurel and Cassy exhaled deeply trying to remain calm.
"We should leave. Im saying he fell – after drinking too much!" Wes explained and Laurel agreed while Connor remained skeptical.
"Guys…" Cassy patted Laurel on her shoulder but they were focused on discussing if they should leave or not. "Guys!" she shouted and only then they heard Rebecca choking and noticed the allegedly dead body wasnt where it landed. They looked over in shock as they saw Sam sitting on Rebecca, choking her like they supposed he choked Lila. They ran over to her and Cassy took the trophy on her way.
"Get off of her!" she shouted but Sam didnt move. Wes pulled the trophy out of Cassys hands and hit him in his head. Blood splattered all around them. Cassy, who stood next to Wes, got blood over her shoes. Sam lay there in his own blood, Rebecca next to him.
Wes helped Rebecca clean Sams blood off her body and change her clothes while Cassy and Laurel discussed how they should continue.
"My- my- my fingerprints are on it." Cassy stuttered pointing at the trophy on the floor in a puddle of blood, eyes tearing up as Laurel patted her on her shoulder.
"All our fingerprints are on it…thats the promise of the trophy." the Latina tried to comfort her. Suddenly Connor passed them, pushing Laurel aside and running to the kitchen. "Where are you going?" Laurel asked but the reply she got was hearing Connor throw up into the kitchen sink.
"Im gonna be sick too." Cassy mumbled as she sat down on a chair. Laurel sighed as she looked around and tried to keep her composure and be there for her friend. "Laurel?" Cassy spoke up and she turned to her with a questioning look. "I never thanked you. For what you did for me. For being there for me. When I came to you the night Sam-"
"Of course. If you ever need anything you can always reach out to me." Laurel smiled and pulled her into a hug. "If you dont mind me asking but what were you doing here? We were here because Wes forced us but…why did you come?" she looked at Cassy who stammered, unsure how to answer her when Connor came out of the kitchen.
"Wes! Hurry the hell up!" he yelled upstairs to where Wes and Rebecca got clean.
Connor was trying to get to Michaela when Cassy held him back. They were arguing, resulting in her being pushed to the ground by the stronger man and hurting her elbow.
"Connor!" Wes shouted as he rushed to Cassys aid who sat up with a painful groan, rubbing her elbow.
"Are you out of your mind?" Rebecca inquired, when she watched Wes helping Cassy up and Connor looked at them open-mouthed.
"I-…I-" he stuttered as he walked back, straight against a bookshelf.
"Its just a scrape." Cassy insisted when she saw a little blood on her fingers after pressing them onto the wound.
"Come on lets clean this." Wes said helping the girl up and getting her to the kitchen.
"Dude, you need to calm down!" Rebecca hissed at Connor who didnt want to take orders from the girl that got them into this whole mess.
"I wont let you drag me down with you!" he retorted angrily, getting in her face.
"Hey. Leave her alone." Wes ordered sternly and Connor backed up. "We need to get out of here."
"Hey! Are you guys in there?" they suddenly heard Asher pounding on the front door. "I see your car in the driveway, Connor!"
"Is that Asher?" Cassy just now came from the kitchen, a wet paper towel pressed against her elbow. "What is he doing here?"
"Its my fault" Michaela whimpered and Connor simply scoffed, repeatedly saying that they were screwed.
"Is Michaela in there with you? I want my freaking trophy back!" Asher continued shouting and pounding while Connor was laughing his ass off. Laurel went to the window to try and get a look at him and if he was leaving when he suddenly knocked at the exact same window.
"Everybody get down." She ordered and everyone except for Connor and Cassy lay down on the floor. "Connor!" Laurel begged when he was trying to control his laughter.
"I can talk to him. Let me talk to him may- maybe I-I-I- I can-" Cassy stuttered, fearing that he would waltz right in and see their crime.
"No! Get down!" Wes exclaimed and Cassy took a few steps back hitting a wall, before sliding down to the floor, tears in her eyes.
"And you guys call me immature? Im like the most grown up grown-up ever!" they heard Asher shouting and Cassy pressed her eyes together, not wanting them to see her cry. The realization of what had happened hit her and she felt overwhelmed as she looked at Connor lying next to Sam in puddle of blood.
"We should just let him in. If hes been in the house, hell suddenly be a part of it. Six of us witnessed it." Laurel panted and everyone looked at her.
"Then daddy Millstone can help get us off." Connor agreed and Cassy shook her head.
"We could get him to step in the blood, its not a bad idea." Rebecca suggested and Wes looked around in shock.
"No! We cant do this. He wasnt here, he wasnt part of this." Cassy insisted and Wes agreed.
"Do you think I wanted to be a part in any of this?" Connor hissed at the young girl and she sighed, feeling the panic in her rising.
"Wait. Listen." Laurel ended the discussion. "Hes gone."
"I texted him. Told him I was at the library." Michaela suddenly spoke up and everyone seemed to calm down again.
"Heres what were gonna do." Wes started. "You guys take Michaela to the woods, Connor please give me your car, Ill take Rebecca to a motel."
"No…no…youre not gonna leave us and I wont give you my car." He stuttered but Wes shook his head.
"The woods are right there we have to travel further. Ill be back in half an hour. Well meet by the tunnel."
"Sounds like a plan." Cassy agreed and looked to Laurel for support, who softly nodded, leaving Connor no choice but to give them his car.
"Okay then we do it like Wes said. You get Rebecca to a motel, we wait for you in the woods. Connor give him the keys." Laurel ordered and Connor tossed them his keys with an angry huff. The group went outside the house and checked if anyone they knew was around, trying to act normal. While Connor gave Wes a lecture and instructions on his car, Cassy snuck away without anyone noticing and walked to the bonfire, trying to clean up her mascara, purposely bumping into people so they would see her.
Asher was at the bonfire, drinking and dancing, trying to get the trophy Michaela stole from him off his mind, when he suddenly bumped into someone.
"Hey! Watch your step-" Asher suddenly turned to face Cassy as she caused him to spill his drink, but cut himself off when he saw the dried tears on her face. "Are you okay?" Cassy looked him straight in the eyes, unsure herself if she was okay. Suddenly she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled his face to hers, pressing her lips onto his. It took a split second but Asher immediately replied the kiss, letting his cup fall to the ground and wrapping his arms around her waist. Cassy pulled away and they locked eyes, looks enough to make them leave the party together and go back to Ashers place.
Wes, Laurel, Connor and Michaela were standing in the woods debating whether they should flip a coin or not and head back for the body.
"Wait a minute…Why is it two against two?" Laurel suddenly realized and remembered what she was looking for earlier.
"Because were four, you dumbass." Michaela retorted while Laurel continued looking around.
"Wes, where is she?" the woman asked and Connor and Michaela looked at each other in confusion.
"He brought her to a motel. He told us!" Connor whispered angrily but Laurel continued to look at Wes who seemed to now also realize what she was talking about.
"No not her…Cassy." Wes suddenly said.
"I knew it. I knew she was too calm." Connor huffed looking around. "That bitch is with the police and ratting us out."
"How could you guys be so dumb and let her out of your eyes?" Michaela asked and everyone shouted, that it wasnt their fault.
"We dont have time to fight, we need to make a decision and commit to it." Wes interrupted the discussion. "So if someone has a better idea, say it now." The others went quiet, suggesting that their perfect brains have shut down in this stressful time. "Heads, we get the body, Tails, we leave it where it is." Wes meant before flipping the coin and telling them that they were going to get the body.
Cassy and Asher entered the apartment kissing passionately while they threw their jackets off of their bodies. He picked her up, not breaking the kiss and walked her to his bed, where he threw her onto, watching as she unzipped her pants and he quickly took off his shirt before getting on top of her. They almost ripped off each other's clothes before continuing to kiss passionately. Asher put his hands around her wrists and pulled them behind their head as he paid attention to her neck, chest, all the way down to her panties before removing them carefully.
About 30 minutes later Cassy quietly snuck out of the bed and put on her shirt. Not only did the feeling of regret quickly come over her but she remembered the terrible act she had been a part of. As she put on her shoes Asher woke up and asked her where she was going.
"What do you think? The Bonfire of course." She lied as she originally planned on going to the woods where she knew the others met.
"Wait Im coming with you." Asher meant, getting up and tripping over his clothes on the floor. Cassy rolled her eyes annoyed. It didnt take long for Asher to put on some clothes and walk to the bonfire with Cassy. Once they arrived there Asher started dancing and partying while Cassy tried to get a signal.
"Cassy?" she suddenly heard Wes voice behind her and turned to him thankfully.
"Oh my god Im so glad I found you." She meant, but Wes seemed angry and confused.
"Why did you leave? They thought you snitched on us. Where were you?" he asked as quietly but harshly as possible when suddenly Asher danced towards Cassy and put his hand on her hip.
"Yo Waitlist. Is Michaela here?" he asked annoyed while looking around as Wes looked the pair up and down before shaking his head.
"Oh, please dont look at me like that." She meant pulling away from Asher and grabbing Wes, walking away with him. "And I wasnt snitching on anyone."
"You were just screwing our classmate." Wes commented unimpressed, causing Cassy to roll her eyes.
"Well, youre screwing our client." She huffed and picked up a faster pace to get ahead of him as they walked towards the rest of their group.
"Where were you?" Laurel whispered worried as she pulled Cassy aside, but the younger one quickly pulled away from her grip.
"Doesnt matter, Im here now." She said, and clearly showed no sign of wanting to continue the discussion.
Connor, Wes and Cassy rolled the body into a carpet while Michaela stood there, back turned to them and arms crossed over her chest.
"Where were you Cassy? Did you snitch on us?" she asked the girl. Cassy exhaled due to the physical labor and annoyance by Michaela asking her those questions.
"Maybe if you were helping us I´d tell you." She replied and Connor who was next to her glanced over suspiciously. "Oh, get over yourself. I wasnt ratting anyone out. Im not that type of girl. I just had a really rough night, had to blow off some steam and needed an alibi thats all." Now that Cassy was explaining her situation Connor and her stopped working, giving Wes no other choice but to stop too.
"And what exactly does blow off some steam mean, huh?" Connor asked angrily but before Cassy could reply Wes interrupted them.
"Guys. We dont have much time. Lets go." He got them to continue working again and they rolled the body further.
"Michaela!" Connor meant exhausted but the woman was having none of it.
"I didnt agree to this, the coin did, so Im gonna stand here and not see anything, so, when Im called to testify I can say just that." She meant not moving an inch.
"I just want you to move your feet." He said nodding to her standing on the carpet. With an annoyed sigh Michaela stepped away and the three could finish rolling up the body.
"Reminds me of my summer job at Taco Bell." Cassy joked when she stood up and stretched, however, she didnt get more than a shocked face from Michaela and an eye-roll from Connor as a reply. Laurel came in handing them the trophy, saying, she washed it and wiped the sink out with bleach afterwards. Laurel joined the three with trying to pick up the carpet but even with her help they failed. All eyes went on Michaela who was standing by the doorframe refusing to do anything.
"Fine." She meant grudgingly as she helped them and they tried to get to Connors car without attracting attention. However, once they stepped outside a campus cop stopped them, asking whos car the one in the driveway was. The five of them stepped outside, everyone believing this was their end and getting goosebumps all over their bodies.
"Its my car, sir." Connor tried to sound as normal as possible but even a deaf could have heard the anxiety in his voice.
"Youre blocking the sidewalk." The cop let them know and everyone sighed relieved while Connor meant he could correct that easily. But the cop got closer, seemingly wanting to peek inside at what they were doing when Michaela suddenly spoke up normally, as though she had never had a breakdown.
"Yes, Professor Keating. Were her law students, but shes out of town and told us to take this old rug to the bonfire." She smiled and the other four just simply looked at her, surprised by how well she seemed. Moreover, even after the cop questioned her story she played along and managed to get him to leave them be. Thankfully some drunk students ran by and he had to get to them and ran off.
"Where the hell has that girl been all night?" Connor wanted to know but Michaela just rolled her eyes.
"Whatever, lets just get this over with." Wes ordered and the group got ready to put the body into their car.
"Guys…" Cassy suddenly spoke up while everyone else was already bowing down to pick it up. "Theres only five seats in the car."
"Yeah so? Were five people." Connor meant annoyed.
"Did you forget about our little buddy there?" Cassy asked patting the carpet.
"Lets just load him in first and then well see okay?" Wes suggested and the group picked the body up and put it in the car. Laurel and Cassy sat on each side on the rear bench, Wes on the passenger seat and Connor was the driver. Odd man out was Michaela.
"Theres no way I can sit on one of your laps and we wont get pulled over." She stated while Laurel and Cassy tried to convince her to sit on them.
"Well, youre not gonna stay here, youre coming with us…so, you gotta sit in the trunk." Laurel meant and Michaela burst out laughing.
"Are you insane woman? I will not sit in a trunk next to a dead mans face." She whispered harshly while Wes and Cassy quickly shushed her.
"Fine. Ill do it." Cassy offered and soon they were driving away from the crime scene.
Cassy rubbed her eyes. She was tired and exhausted and crouching in a trunk so no one would see her made her back ache and her stomach hurt even more. The car parked at a gas station where Wes bought all the needed materials for burning the body while the rest remained in the car. Connor, who was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown sang to every single song that came on the radio.
"Connor, please stop." Cassy begged when he sang jingle bells like a happy kid. Michaela repeated after her but Connor just turned back and told them he wouldnt stop, especially if it annoyed them. Wes got into the car and threw some snacks to the back, saying, that it was less suspicious if he bought other things as well.
"Why? We can just kill the store owner if we need to, right? Hey!" Connor meant before continuing to sing and the rest of the car just silently rolled their eyes.
"I got no appetite." Cassy meant looking at a pack of MMs.
"Yeah me neither." Michaela looked out of the window to avoid puking at the very thought of a dead body lying next to her.
The group was carrying the body through the woods, trying not get any attention. They were breathing heavily as everyone concentrated on not tripping over a branch or root, when suddenly a womans voice appeared in near distance. Not soon after a male voice answered her. The five of them quickly hid behind a tree, turning their flashlights off and trying to breathe as quietly as possible. Cassy looked at her phone after turning off the flashlight and saw a whole bunch of missed texts and calls from Frank. She looked at it, not wanting to answer any of them, as Connor, who was in front of her, looked back to where the light source came from.
"What are you doing?" he whispered harshly but really quietly, even Wes didnt hear him.
"Nothing." Cassy turned her phone off before he could see who she was texting with.
"Are you texting someone? A cell tower could pick up your location – our location." He started to get scared but Cassy simply rolled her eyes.
"Im not dumb, I know not to text or call anyone when covering up a murder. Now stop being worried about me-" Cassy got interrupted by a phone ringing in someones pocket and Connor gave her an angry glance. "Not mine." She mouthed as she turned back to Laurel who was behind her. The woman quickly pulled out her phone and declined the call. The pair they could hear before got scared and left the woods.
"Why is Frank calling you?" Michaela asked after some time.
"What?" Laurel acted clueless while putting her phone back into her pocket. Cassy watched her do so, as she wondered as well why Frank was calling her friend.
"I saw your phone, Laurel. What the hell is going on?" Michaela got angry, thinking about how Laurel forbade her to call her fiancé earlier.
"Were out far enough, lets do this here." Cassy was out of breath from their long walk through the woods.
"No- no- no- we need to go further." Connor insisted but the others let the body down.
"If we go further the bonfire will not cover the smoke. Also, with every further step we risk getting caught." Laurel agreed with Cassy and inhaled deeply to cover up her exhaustion. The group rolled the body out of the carpet, while Wes and Cassy picked up some dry wood to put it over it. Wes took the spirit he bought at the gas station and poured some over their crime.
"Okay last chance." He meant. "Either we all agree, or we stop right now."
"Just do it." Connor rushed him and Laurel finished his sentence.
"Before the Bonfire ends." She said and Wes looked to Cassy who nodded softly.
"Michaela?" he asked and all eyes were set on her.
"Its the only way to destroy the DNA." She agreed with a hoarse voice and Cassy handed Wes a pack of matches. He lit one and the light coming from it revealed Sam Keatings face. Cassy looked away, a tear running down her cheek as Wes threw the match onto the heap of wood and Sam. The five of them watched as it flamed up immediately and burned the evidence of the crime they committed away.
"What did we do." Cassy murmured to herself as she watched her professors husbands body burn.
It took a good hour before the fire got smaller in which Laurel called Frank back and the rest watched the coaled remains of Sam sizzle. Cassy crouched by a tree when Connor sat down next to her, blowing some hot air to his ice-cold fingers.
"Weve got a whole fire just for us and youre still cold?" she asked tired and with a yawn but he just scoffed.
"Where were you? Before we met you at the bonfire?" he wondered and Cassy sighed as Michaela seemed to come closer to hear them talk.
"I hooked up with Asher." She admitted, staring into the fire which turned to a small flame, nearly burning out. When she didnt get a reply from Connor she looked at him and all she saw was a shocked face. "Weve been hooking up sometimes, nothing big. In fact, hes the reason I got back on the team. At least thats what I thought until today."
"Why?" Connor asked but Wes interrupted them, saying that the fires gone and they had to chop the body up, wanting Connor to do it.
"Have you done this before?" Michaela suddenly stood next to the tree Cassy was leaning against and the latter looked up, asking what she meant. "Murder." Cassy burst out into laughter, thinking Michaela was joking but soon realized by her expression that she wasnt.
"Are you crazy? What makes you think I did?" she asked offended.
"Because…you were calm most of the night, you were cracking jokes, you- you-…you had sex." She whispered the last part with a disgusted look on her face. Cassy eyed her up and down, her mind going to all sorts of different places and recalling her actions that night.
"Let me be very clear with you Michaela…just because I wasnt crying in a corner and refused helping doesnt mean that Ive done this before. Im a first-time murderer, just like you." Cassy scoffed angrily, walking past her to help Laurel pick the chopped off pieces of Sam up and put them into trash bags, but Michaela grabbed her wrist tightly and pulled her back.
"I didnt kill anyone. Wes did." She explained in a harsh tone, making Cassys wrist hurt.
"Well, I also didnt kill anyone. I wasnt even there until you pushed him down the stairs." She pulled her arm away and left her with loud, angry footsteps.
The sun slowly started to rise and after the group got rid of the bags with Sams burned body parts, Connor dropped each one off at their place. Cassy asked him to drop her off on campus because thats where she had parked her car, not wanting them to find out she was still living in it. Once she sat down on the drivers seat and started the engine she exhaled shakily and drove to a public restroom. To her disappointment there werent any showers, but she had to get the shame and dirt from the woods off of her. Cassy took thirty minutes to wash herself in the small metal sink and disposed the blouse she was wearing after finding several dried blood stains on it. A sob left her mouth as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. Cassy left the public restroom, her hair wrapped in a towel. She sat down in her car and fished her phone out of her pocket before dialing up Franks number.
"Come on, pick up…" she sniffed. Everything hurt and she couldnt get the picture of Sams body out of her mind. "Hi Frank its me…Cassy…I want to talk about…about what you told me earlier tonight…I need you to tell me everything. Please call me back when you get this." She hung up when a text message from Bonnie came in, saying she should come to the house immediately. Tired and exhausted, Cassy geared into first, driving back to the office. Only the sight of the house sent shivers down her spine. Once she entered it, she saw the rest of their group. The four others that she was committing the crime with the previous night, gushing whether Annalise called them in because she knew or not.
"Hey guys." Cassy greeted them and was happy to see that they all looked as bad as she did. She whipped her head around, seeing Frank and Bonnie talk a bit further away from them and inhaled, trying to keep her cool. Not long after her Asher also came in, angry glances thrown at Michaela and saying that they were all really bad liars. The five murderers froze for a moment before he continued by fussing about them going to the bonfire and not telling him.
"You talking about this?" Frank asked Asher once he started annoying Michaela about the trophy. "It was on the porch when I got here." He explained, saying that it was up for grabs now. Suddenly it knocked on the door and Annalise walked out of her office in a bathrobe, without make-up and her hair natural.
"That must be the police." She said and Cassy looked to the others who tried really hard not to panic. "They are going to ask you a lot of questions about my husband. He was having an affair with Lila Stangard." Cassy exhaled, finally having heard it and not suspecting it anymore. "I confronted him about it, we had a terrible fight and now…hes not answering his phone and I think he might have fled." She cried and Cassy closed her eyes feeling terrible of knowing where he was and seeing Annalise suffer. "Im sorry to involve you in this but I need you to be honest with the police. Will you promise me to do that for me?" she sniffed looking to Wes who agreed immediately and the rest nodded as well. Cassy looked over to Frank and caught him staring at her. He quickly looked away and she swallowed, her whole life just turned upside down in one single night.
