It was a dark snowy night in the Sol Dimension, and Blaze the Cat and her friend, Marine the Raccoon were at Blaze's residence, preparing Christmas dinner. "Crikey, I can't wait to have at that Christmas dinner! It just smells so good!" Marine said with an excited grin, her distinctive Australian accent kicking in.
Blaze smiled and nodded. "It certainly does, Marine. I'm more excited about being able to spend Christmas with the special guest I've invited over for the holidays." She replied before the two of them could hear a portal open in the living room as an ivory Mobian hedgehog stepped out: It was Silver the Hedgehog!
Silver dusted off his shoulders as the portal closed behind him. "Blaze, I'm here!" He called throughout the house.
Blaze giggled a little bit. "I know, Silver! We could hear the portal open!" She called back as Silver made his way into the kitchen, seeing the Christmas dinner the girls were preparing.
"Well, this Christmas dinner is already looking good! I can't wait to have at it!" Silver said with an excited grin.
Marine chuckled at that. "You'll have to wait a bit before it's finished, mate. But I can assure ya that it's high quality food that Blaze and I are making." She told the ivory hedgehog.
Silver nodded. "Mind if I help out a bit?" He asked with a smile.
Blaze and Marine nodded. "Sure, the more, the merrier." Blaze replied with a smile as she tossed Silver an apron. The ivory hedgehog quickly put it on and began to help the girls out with the preparation of the Christmas dinner.
"So, Silver. How have things been over in the future lately?" Marine asked the ivory hedgehog curiously.
Silver smiled. "It's looking good. I'm actually being honest about that for once. None of that fire and ruined cities and all that. Skies are blue, grass is green, flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and so on. It's actually peaceful in my future for once. How it happened, I have no idea, but it just happened." He replied.
Blaze and Marine smiled at that. "I'm glad to hear that, Silver. I'm glad things are going well for you in the future." Blaze replied as she was preparing a French fish soup as one of the meals for the Christmas dinner.
Marine nodded in agreement. "I'm happy to hear it as well. Let's hope the future'll stay that way too." She added as she was making a chestnut salad as another one of the meals for the Christmas dinner.
Silver nodded back. "I hope so, Marine. I sure hope so..." He sighed before continuing to help the girls with the preparation of the Christmas dinner. Then, once the Christmas dinner was finished, the trio began to set the table and placed all the meals on it. Then, once everyone was seated, they could finally get around to eating and drinking.
"On a good Christmas, you two." Blaze said with a smile as she raised her glass of apple juice for a toast.
"On a good Christmas!" Silver and Marine replied in unison as the trio clinked their glasses for a toast.
Later, once the Christmas dinner was finished, the trio was playing a game of Monopoly together in the living room. "It was a good idea of you to play a game of Monopoly, Marine. I haven't played this for ages." Silver told the Australian raccon with a smile.
Marine chuckled at that. "Anytime, mate. Glad I could provide ya with a little entertainment this Christmas." She replied with a smile as she rolled a six and landed on Go To Jail. "Aw, shoot." She chuckled as she went to jail.
"I agree that board games can be pretty fun. It's too bad that I never really have the time to play them." Blaze sighed as she rolled a four and landed on Illinois Avenue.
"Don't worry about it, Blaze. Perhaps you could find some time in your busy schedule to play board games with people some time." Silver told her with a reassuring smile. "By the way, you landed on Illinois Avenue, which is one of my properties. Pay up." He chuckled.
"Perhaps I could do so, yes." Blaze nodded as she paid Silver rent. Later on, once Marine had gone home, Silver decided to stay for the night at Blaze's place, and the two were currently lying in Blaze's bed.
"I'm really glad you decided to come over for Christmas this year, Silver. I always enjoy your company." Blaze told the ivory hedgehog with a smile.
"Really? Thanks, Blaze. I always enjoy your company as well." Silver replied with a smile as he blushed.
Blaze blushed as well. "Should we...?" She asked the ivory hedgehog.
"I think we should." Silver smiled before he leaned forward and kissed the lilac cat on the lips, wrapping his arms around her back.
Blaze's fur stuck up like spikes for a quick second, but loosened once the kiss continued. She wrapped her arms around Silver's neck and leaned up close to him while closing her eyes to enjoy the kiss.
Not too long after that, Silver and Blaze were asleep, with Blaze snuggling up to Silver as the two of them slept.
