Chapter 2
Lisa felt her heart pounding in her ears and her mouth had suddenly became dry as the Gobi desert, but she quickly regained her wits.
"Sorry about that, I am Lisa Simpson, it's good to meet you, Sally." Lisa said with a blush.
Lisa and Sally became friends, bonding with each other over their love of fine art, classical music, and conservation.
They reluctantly parted ways so they could resume thier jobs, but Sally Bottomtop had left quite an impression on Lisa, and unbeknonst to Lisa, Sally was feeling the same way about her.
The rest of the day flew by and soon it was the end of the day.
Lisa stepped into the elevator, she was sore and tired from all of the stress of the day. She and Sally along with the rest of the company have recently finalizing a big account for a new client.
Just then, Lisa sees Sally coming towards the elevator, covered in sweat, looking exhausted.
'Oh for the love of God, please hold the elevator, whoever is in there.' Sally silently pleaded,
Lisa held the door for the exhausted woman, Sally reached the elevator, allowing the blonde to pull her inside,
"Thank God for you, Lisa," Sally huffed as she all but slumped against the elevator's wall opposite Lisa.
"You're quite welcome, Sally." Lisa said with a hint of cheerfulness in her voice,
Lisa hit the button for the Parking Deck level, the elevator began moving, but then suddenly jerked to a stop.
"Are you kidding me!" Lisa yelled, Sally felt the same way as her companion, but decided not to voice her frustration, so as not to make things worse, at this rate Lisa would never get that shower.
Lisa picked up the emergency phone and got Wally Dollmart from Matenence,
"Lisa? You're in the elevator?"
"I am Wally, with Sally Bottomtop, what's going on?" she inquired,
"Systems Check, John didn't tell-?" The Southern gentleman stopped speaking before he put his foot in his mouth,
"How long will we be in here, Wally?" Lisa inquired, trying not to get irritated with Wally.
"At this rate, maybe two or three hours," he replied.
Sally then took the phone from Lisa,
"Wally, I am sore, covered in sweat, dirt, all I want to do is go home and take a shower and now you're telling me that I and Lisa have to wait two or three more hours before we can get out of here!?" Sally roars into the phone,
Lisa takes the phone away from Sally,
"Wally, I'm going to try and calm Sally down, you and the crew work on whatever it is you have to," Lisa says before hanging up the phone and turning to face Sally,
"And just how do you plan on calming me down, Lisa?" Sally asked quizzically,
"I'll get back to you on to you on that."
Lisa and Sally were safely rescued from the elevator, the women then hurried down to their cars in the Parking Deck, which were ironically parked next to one another.
"Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, Lisa."
"Yeah, see you then, Sally.
