There was time when I want to write another one-shot story about character's interaction instead of their adventures. Even though it would still part of End Of The Eternity's ever changing timeline, this one-shot story would also help our readers to understand more about our OC's relationship with other characters, especially the legendary three Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Aces. Simultaneously, I also hope that this one-shot story would also help our readers to understand more about some key differences between our OC's old world, the third newborn world, as well as several other newborn worlds out there, in which similar and yet different to one another. Because of that, without further ado, let us dive into another one-shot story that will also serve as integral factor and companionship for our main fanfictions.

"Sorry to keep you waiting Ave-kun. The morning training session took longer than what Vita-chan and I've anticipated…" greeted Nanoha while clasping both hands and performing an apologetic Buddha gesture afterwards. "Ah! That is fine, Nanoha-san. I only have just arrived myself. So, shall we get going?" replied Ave before smiling at Nanoha as well, in return. "I think we should, Ave-kun. Since we rarely have a chance to go for a date together…" teased Nanoha, as she was agree to her beloved adopted younger brother's reply and suggestion just now. "Fate-san is going to kill me if she heard that…" once again replied Ave while letting a small sigh out towards Nanoha, his beloved adoptive older sister. "Nya, ha, ha, ha. I don't think that would be the case Ave-kun. Since if that was the case, Hayate-chan, Eins-san and Einhalt-chan will definitely do the same on me…" reassured Nanoha, as she also at the same time smiled at her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave as well, in return.
"You're right. So, shall we visit Uminari's commercial district first before having our late lunch, Nanoha-san?" asked Ave before suggesting that they should go to Uminari's commercial district before having their late lunch. "That would be a good idea, Ave-kun. Also, would you mind to help me pick Christmas' presents for Fate-chan and Vivio as well?" answered Nanoha before asking Ave to accompany her to pick Christmas' presents for both Fate and Vivio afterwards. "Sure, Nanoha-san. Since I also need to get Christmas' presents for Hayate-chan, Reinforce and Einhalt as well, after all…" responded Ave back, as he also agree to accompany Nanoha with her Christmas shopping. Nanoha in return only smiled before she thanked Ave and linked her own arms with his afterwards. It was after they made a quick review of their afternoon shopping plan, Ave and Nanoha left Uminari's municipal park in which located just two blocks away from Uminari's commercial district.
Unlike his old world and the third newborn world, this particular newborn world in which Uminari City existed and located has been almost generally peaceful. This aforementioned newborn world was also the least affected by Break The World, as Time-Space Administrative Bureau together with their ally, Celestial Being have been zealously protected it. Because of that, Ave has always loved the time he spent when visiting Uminari together with his new family, friends and love ones. Since only when visiting this peaceful newborn world in which Uminari City existed and located that Ave could somehow unwind from his role as Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Executive Officer, Gundam Meister, Another Time Diver's candidate and also another Innovator as well, after all.
This year, he decided to go ahead and visits Uminari together with his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha earlier, a week before Christmas Eve to be exact. His beloved girlfriends, Hayate, Reinforce Eins and Einhalt were still preoccupied with each of their own tasks until around three days before Christmas Eve. Fate and Vivio in the meantime were also busy until at least a day or two before Christmas Eve. That was why, since Ave and Nanoha were the only one that has completed their tasks, they decided to start their holiday earlier by visiting Uminari City a week before Christmas Eve. Moreover, it also is an opportunity to visit Nanoha's family, her parents and older siblings, as well as closest best friends, Arisa Bunnings and Suzuka Tsukimura.
This newborn world in which Uminari City existed and located was definitely interested Ave the most. It has four Orbital Elevators in which located in four strategic locations across three different superpower countries that so far manage to coexist peacefully under Earth Sphere Federation, a more effective form of his old world's United Nations. The fourth Orbital Elevator was an unusual one, as Nanoha's best friend, Suzuka has once told Ave on how it actually happen to be a special gift from humanity's new friends that came from faraway galaxy. Meanwhile, it was happen to be the most advance Orbital Elevator that also responsible for one third of this newborn world's energy. Because of that, this newborn world was happen to be the most peaceful eternal reality that Ave has encountered after Break The World occurred in the past.
In the meantime, Ave also remembered on how the advent of magic and GN Technology has helped this aforementioned newborn world to protect itself. Celestial Being has first introduced GN Technology through their GN Drive-powered mobile suits, as Time-Space Administrative Bureau would later manufacture their own counterpart, in which dubbed as Nayuta Drive. Earth Sphere Federation on the other hand deployed their own slightly inferior counterpart known as GN Drive Tau that also easily manufactured in large quantities. Tsukimura Heavy Industries were among many other industries that manufacture GN Drive Tau and any other GN Technology-related equipments, as their current R&D's chief engineer, Suzuka Tsukimura has been known as Time-Space Administrative Bureau and Celestial Being's best civilian collaborator. Because of that, Time-Space Administrative Bureau also has an access to Earth Sphere Federation's GN Drive Tau and decided to use it as a backup for their genuine GN Drive.
"Are you thinking about the past again, Ave-kun? I don't think such habit is actually good for you…" asked Nanoha before mentioning on how Ave's tendency on remembering his past or old life prior to Break The World has never been a good habit after all. "I actually is thinking about our world and how fortunate myself to be part of it, Nanoha-san. Since it gave me an opportunity to redo my life and fix mistakes that I made in the past…" answered Ave, as he smiled at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha afterwards. "I also agree with you, Ave-kun. Although, I still believe that you shouldn't think too much about your old life…" calmly and affirmatively responded Nanoha before reminding her adopted younger brother, Ave to not think over his past old life excessively in return.
Ave in the meantime decided quietly gave Nanoha's respond a quick albeit deep thought while staring back at her calm smiling face, simultaneously. He knew that Nanoha was actually right and he shouldn't think over his past old life excessively. In fact his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha wasn't the only one that has told him that. His mentor that was also Nanoha's dearest fiancé, Executive Officer Fate Testarossa Harlaown together with his beloved older girlfriend and commanding officer, Hayate Yagami have also told him similar thing as well in the past. According to both Fate and Hayate, his inability to let his past go has inadvertently haunts him. Even after he started his new life, Ave often found himself unable to move forward because of it. Reinforce Eins and Einhalt have also noticed that as they tried to always help him overcome it. Unfortunately, he was still unable to let those past memories gone completely, as they still and would always be an important cornerstone that shape him and his new life.
His decision to accept Olivier Sägebrecht and Ayin Barshem's offer on becoming another Time Diver's candidate has been driven mostly by those past memories. It also made him accept Setsuna F. Seiei's offer and became Exia's Gundam Meister after he has proven his piloting skill. He knew that his decision might lead him into the biggest ordeal and hardship that his new life as another Time Diver's candidate, Innovator and Gundam Meister would experience. Nevertheless, Ave was always grateful for the choice that he made, for an opportunity that Olivier Sägebrecht and Ayin Barshem has given him, as well as continuous support in which his new family, friends, allies, comrade in arms and love ones provided. Since it was through their continuous support that Ave could keep on moving forward even after he made his fateful decision to become another Time Diver's candidate and Gundam Meister. After he briefly remembered that and gave Nanoha's respond a quick albeit deep thought, Ave decided to reply back while smiling at her as well, in return.
"I believe so as well, Nanoha-san. Although, it might actually take me a while until I could stop thinking about those past memories after all. I'm sorry…" replied Ave before apologizing at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha. In return, Nanoha was only smiling back at him, as she gently shook her head and responded back at his reply just now. "It's okay, Ave-kun. Just take your time, as we have always be there to help you…" replied Nanoha while reassuring her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave that she together with everyone else will always be there to help him. "Thanks Nanoha-san…" thanked Ave before he also smiled at her as well, shortly afterwards. It also when Nanoha gave him an approving nod, as they together walk towards Uminari's commercial district that located not far from their current location.
ACT 3
"So, we are here Ave-kun…" happily exclaimed Nanoha, as she together with her adopted younger brother Ave enter Uminari's commercial district. The commercial district itself was very similar to any traditional commercial districts or shōtengai normally found in his old world's Empire of Japan. Nevertheless, Ave manages to spot several differences that he never before saw in his old world's commercial district or shōtengai. Unlike any commercial districts or shōtengai in his old world's Empire of Japan, Uminari's commercial district was a perfect fusion between the past, present and future. Characteristics of the bygone mid-late Shōwa period and futuristic touch from the twenty-third century have perfectly mingled together in Uminari's commercial district. Since only in this particular commercial district or shōtengai that Ave would see traditional restaurants and teahouses or kissaten with holographic display, universal cashless payment system and hIE or humanoid Interface Element type of androids working as its staff.
"It actually is a little different from what I have in mind, Nanoha-san. Still, it is nice to see traditional and modern aspect of this world's society blended together perfectly in harmony here…" remarked Ave while at the same time staring in awe at small shops, café, restaurants and tea houses around him. "Fate-chan also said the same thing when I brought her here, Ave-kun…" added Nanoha by mentioning on how her closest best friend and later dearest fiancé, Executive Officer Fate Testarossa Harlaown also said something similar about it in the past. "Since both traditional and futuristic aspect of this commercial district has seamlessly intertwine, it won't actually surprise me to see Fate-san said that. Even though this Uminari's commercial district isn't the only one that has successfully mix traditional and modern characteristics together in every aspect of its daily life, Nanoha-san…" responded Ave before smiling at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha as well, in return.
"Nya, ha, ha, ha. Now that you mention it, we should have actually visit other places in which traditional and modern aspect of life mingle together in harmony. I wonder why Fate-chan still find Uminari's commercial district to be special for her…" replied Nanoha while letting a small chuckle out as well, at the same time. "Well, we can always act her later. Now, shall we shop for Christmas' presents first, Nanoha-san?" suggested Ave in his respond towards Nanoha's reply just now. "Sure! Let's start from that small gift shop if you don't mind Ave-kun…" once again replied Nanoha before suggesting that they should start their search for Christmas' presents from one particular small gift shop, in which located across a certain maid café. Ave meanwhile only gave his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha an affirmative nod, as he decided to follow her towards the aforementioned small gift shop afterwards.
From his perspective, this small gift shop was quite ordinary, as well as extraordinary at the same time. Unlike any quaint gift shop that he always found in his old world's commercial district or shōtengai, Ave found this small gift shop to be another perfect example on how past, present and future technology could mingle together in perfect harmony. Other than multiple holographic screens in which the aforementioned small gift shop has been displayed, Ave saw a pair of young female hIEs work as shop's attendants instead of the usual old grandmas that he often saw back in his old world's traditional gift shops. One of this young female hIE, in which Ave identified from her nametag as Kōka Suguri smiled and greeted Nanoha, as she approached one of the nearest display cabinet.
"Welcome to Diomedéa. Are you looking for special gift, dear customer?" greeted Kōka, as Nanoha only smiled and replied back at her greeting just now with an enquiry. "I only am looking for any Christmas gifts. Do you have any recommendation, Kōka-chan?" asked Nanoha while smiling towards the cheerful and (perhaps) slightly mischievous Kōka in return. "Of course I always have a good recommendation for you, miss Takamachi. Is this gift for miss Testarossa or Vivio-chan?" affirmatively answered Kōka with a cheerful smile shown on her face. It was also after she finished answering Nanoha's question that Kōka decided to turn her gaze towards Ave and grinned. "Is he your boyfriend, miss Takamachi? I thought miss Testarossa is your fiancé…" asked Kōka while curiously staring at Ave. Nanoha in the meantime was only smiling at Kōka before replying back at her question just now.
"It seems that you have never met Ave-kun before. He is my younger brother, Kōka-chan…" replied Nanoha while introducing her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave as well, simultaneously. "Eh, that is new for me to hear that. I never know that you have a younger brother before, miss Takamachi…" responded Kōka back with surprised expression shown all over her face. It was when the second hIE that has just finished from serving her customers approached Kōka and scold her for being too casually distracted from her job. Ave in which decided quietly observe Kōka's interaction with his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha manage to also identify the second hIE from her nametag. Her name was Lacia Endō and she was glaring towards Kōka at the moment.
"You shouldn't bombard miss Takamachi with too many questions, Kōka-nēsan. Have you consider that she might feel slightly overwhelmed and feel uncomfortable because of it?" scolded Lacia before letting a small sigh out as well, not long afterwards. "Eeeeeh! I don't think that would be the case, Lacia. Am I right, miss Takamachi?" argued Kōka, as she also ask Nanoha to confirm that. "Nya, ha, ha, ha. I wonder if that would be the case, Kōka-chan…" teased Nanoha while replying back at Kōka's question just now. "Murgh!" pouted Kōka before turning her attention towards Ave and ask him a question. "Hey! Do you think that I've made miss Takamachi feel slightly overwhelmed and uncomfortable with my questions just now?" asked Kōka while hoping that Ave would tell her otherwise. Unfortunately for Kōka, Ave decided to instead say that she might unconsciously overwhelm Nanoha with her questions after all.
"I think that your questions might inadvertently overwhelm Nanoha-san. Still, I also believe that Nanoha-san would never actually mind that, Kōka…" calmly answered Ave, as he decided to also reassure Kōka that his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha wouldn't actually mind that. Meekly Kōka gave Ave and Nanoha a small nod before she decided to refrain herself from bombarding them with more questions. It was also when Lacia decided to help Kōka by recommending Nanoha, as well as Ave several Christmas gifts that their small gift shop, Diomedéa has stocked for this aforementioned special holiday festivity.
While listening at Lacia and Kōka's recommendation, Ave started to notice several special features in which hIE, especially the latest Lacia-series hIE from Memeframe Corporation has possessed in comparison to other generic hIEs that he usually saw when visiting Nanoha's homeworld. Unlike other hIEs that he usually encounter, both Kōka and Lacia have been capable of showing more human-like expression more accurately. They were also capable of responding at human's interaction naturally, as other hIEs often has each of their respond limited to pre-programmed prompts. Because of that, Ave found that his encounter with these two young female hIEs, Kōka Suguri and Lacia Endō has made him realize over another new possibility in which Nanoha's newborn homeworld could offer.
Their interaction with Kōka and Lacia has also reminded Ave to his own old homeworld. Despite experiencing Break The World and have multiple other worlds fused with it, Ave's old homeworld was incapable of involving further beyond what it has became in these past decades. Instead, it regressed to the point in which its inhabitants were proven incapable of even protecting themselves. Ave remembered on how he together with his new family, friends, allies and love ones have once revisit this old world in order to investigate certain space and time continuum's disturbances that also affect the third newborn world unfortunately. It was during this aforementioned investigation, Ave learnt on what the old homeworld of his has became after Break The World. It also during this aforementioned investigation that Ave together with his new family, friends, allies and love ones have became aware of a looming threat that would soon also befell their own beloved third newborn world if left unchecked.
The second and sixth fleets of Ze Balmary Empire's Imperial Galactic Frontier Inspection Army were annihilated near the outer orbit of Ave's old homeworld, signalling the crisis that would hit them shortly afterwards. Mysterious enemies that could completely annihilate the mighty second and sixth fleets of Ze Balmary Empire's Imperial Galactic Frontier Inspection Army would undoubtedly dangerous, as Ave's old homeworld has sadly been unprepared for that due to their own making. His old homeworld and its inhabitants have been given every opportunity to prepare almost immediately after Break The World took place. Instead, they decided to wage war among themselves over greed and petty ideologies while simultaneously victimise multiple other worlds that unfortunate enough to completely fuse with it.
Ave remembered on how his old homeworld has been warned before through war, famine, disease and natural disaster. Yet none of its inhabitants have took any lesson from these catastrophes and instead decided to blame one another for their suffering. Sadly, blaming others and went for each other's throats would only made them vulnerable, as no governments, militaries, religious leaders and scientists from Ave's old homeworld could stop these mysterious enemies from invading after all. By the time he together with Nanoha, Fate, Hayate and the rest of Special Duty Section 6, as well as some ZEUTH's operatives arrived in his old homeworld, most of its surfaces have already been reduced into ruins. In the end, it took Ave together with his new family, friends, allies and love ones more than a decade worth to save this crumbling old world, as none of its inhabitants were capable of doing so after all.
Unlike his old homeworld, both the third newborn world and Nanoha's own homeworld were undoubtedly safer by having more than capable protectors protecting them. According to his beloved older girlfriend, Hayate, both the third newborn world and her own former homeworld in which also happens to be Nanoha's have face similar if not more deadly threats than the one that constantly plague his old homeworld. The only different was how both the third newborn world and their own homeworld were having more capable people protecting it. For instance, Nanoha and Hayate's homeworld was the universe in which GN Technology has been originated, as it greatly helped Earth Sphere Federation to protect its inhabitants.
Hypothetically, even without Time-Space Administrative Bureau and Celestial Being's help, Nanoha and Hayate's homeworld should actually more than capable of protecting itself. Because of that, Time-Space Administrative Bureau and Celestial Being's presence has bolster their homeworld's defense against any unprecedented threats post-Break The World, something that Ave's old homeworld was lacking due to its own making.
Remembering this has made Ave realize on how lucky he was. After he made the fateful choice to accept Olivier Sägebrecht and Ayin Barshem's offer, Ave not only obtained unparallel strength but also more importantly new family, friends, allies and love ones that help him in this new life of his. It was through the fateful choice that he made back then, Ave could finally find a new purpose in life, as he started to be able to slowly but surely let his past go. That was also the reason why Ave could finally enjoy his new life to the fullest and simultaneously protect everything that he truly love, as well as cherish dearly.
"Have you done choosing your Christmas' presents, Ave-kun? I already pick my choices, as Kōka-chan and Lacia-chan help me choose them…" asked Nanoha, as her question has somehow startle him from reminiscing his old life and old homeworld just now. "Ah! I haven't actually done that. Just give me a moment and I will do it in a jiffy…" responded Ave back before he decided to quickly choose several Christmas' presents base on Kōka and Lacia's recommendation. Shortly after he finished choosing Christmas' presents for Hayate, Reinforce Eins and Einhalt, Ave decided to leave the aforementioned small gift shop, Diomedéa together with his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha.
On the way to a grab lunch at one of the famous udon restaurants nearby, Ave and Nanoha decided to continue their casual conversation. Their conversation was mainly focusing on recent developments and some crucial investigations that they have been completed together. Nanoha in particular also highlighted several unexpected encounters that they together experience in their most recent misadventures or to be more specific investigations. From those unexpected encounters that Nanoha has been highlighted, Ave once again started remembering some newfound allies in whom he together with his new family, friends, allies and love ones made in their recent misadventures or more accurately investigations. It also during these recent misadventures or investigations that Ave and Nanoha fought new enemies that also proven to be a lot more dangerous than anything in which they have ever face previously in the past.
Remembering those unexpected encounters and struggles has made Ave extremely grateful not only towards Nanoha but also Fate, Hayate, Reinforce Eins, Vivio, Einhalt and everyone else for their support. Since without their constant help and support, Ave would certainly find it more difficult to fulfil his new destiny as another Time Diver's candidate after all. Nanoha, Fate, Hayate and Reinforce Eins in particular were also the one that first accepted, as well as invited him into their Time-Space Administrative Bureau family. They were also happen to be those in which he initially encountered after becoming another Time Diver's candidate, as well as Astraea and Exia's Gundam Meister. Because of that, Ave would also held fond memories over his fateful encounter with Nanoha, Fate, Hayate and Reinforce Eins immediately after becoming another Time Diver's candidate, as well as Astraea and Exia's Gundam Meister.
Through this fateful encounter, he were also introduced to his other would soon be new family, friends, allies and love ones. His new family, in which also include Nanoha, Fate and Hayate, as well as friends, allies and other love ones such as Reinforce Eins and Einhalt would always be the one that accompany him in the aforementioned misadventures or investigations that he participated up until now. The conversation that he was having with his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha has reminded him that. It also helped Ave to understand that he would never be alone in his new life after all. Since together with his new family, friends, allies and love ones, Ave would certainly able to protect those in which he truly loved, treasured, as well as cherished without fail.
ACT 4
Not long after they left the small gift shop, Diomedéa, Ave and Nanoha finally arrive at the nearby famous udon restaurant in which located approximately two blocks away but still also within Uminari's commercial district or shōtengai area. Nanoha told her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave that this famous udon restaurant was actually Hayate's favourite. She was the one that recommended this aforementioned famous udon restaurant to Nanoha, Fate, Arisa and Suzuka when they visited Uminari's commercial district in the past. Also according to Nanoha's story, their Tanuki udon was always forever be Hayate's favourite, in which Ave personally found quite funny and intriguing for some obvious reason.
Nanoha and Fate personally love its Tempura and Kitsune udon meanwhile Arisa and Suzuka favour its Stamina and Tsukimi udon respectively. Ave personally would always prefer ramen to udon, as he often found its thick wheat-flour noodle to be slightly bland or less flavourful. Nevertheless, he decided to let his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha to recommend him with something, as her recommendation might be proven more flavourful and tastier compare to his favourite Hakata "Tonkotsu" ramen after all.
"Fate-chan loves their Kitsune udon and it might also suit your taste as well, Ave-kun. Or you would prefer to try mine or Hayate-chan's favourite instead?" suggested Nanoha while skimming through the menu in front of her. Ave in the meantime decided to give Nanoha's suggestion a quick thought before answering back. "I'll go with Kitsune udon. Since it is something that first came from your recommendation, Nanoha-san…" answered Ave, as he also smiled back at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha in return. "That is a good choice, Ave-kun. For me, I'll go with the usual instead…" replied Nanoha before she stood up and went towards the ticketing machine that also located conveniently next to (her) them. "Let me pay our lunches this time around, Ave-kun…" stated Nanoha when Ave was about to stood up and pay for their meal.
"Uhm, are you sure Nanoha-san?" asked Ave, as he certainly felt very reluctant to let his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha pay for their lunches. "Since you sometimes treat us lunches in the past, I have to insist Ave-kun. So, let me pay this time around…" replied Nanoha while giving her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave the usual reassuring Takamachi's style signature smile of hers shortly afterwards. In return, Ave only gave his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha an approving nod before letting her to pay for their meals this time around. Shortly after they ordered their lunches, Ave and Nanoha decided to continue the casual conversation or discussion that they had previously. It was also when they also started to talk about past experiences that took place almost immediately after Break The World occurred while waiting for their meals.
Break The World has undeniably changed almost every aspect of everyone's life. Countless different worlds or universes together with each of their inhabitants were also directly impacted by it. Ave and Nanoha remembered very well over how extremely chaotic the whole situation back then, as most of these aforementioned countless different worlds or universes were fused together into one and becoming multiple newborn worlds or multiverses in the process. Especially when they together with the rest of Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Special Duty Section 6 were happen to be among the said turmoil and chaotic situation's first responder after all. It was also during this aforementioned era filled with uncertainty that Ave, Nanoha and others work together to safeguard these newborn eternal realities, as well as possibility of better never ending tomorrow.
During the casual discussion that he currently had with his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha, Ave decided to also mention some incidents that they together with Vita and Subaru investigated. Some of these incidents would remain obscure, as First Defensive War that took place almost immediately after Break The World occurred has unfortunately overshadow them. It also from Nanoha's own responds that Ave started to remember on how these obscure incidents were also inadvertently affect several other multiple newborn worlds' progress for obtaining their peace and stability. In one particular example that his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha highlighted, Ave also learnt that these obscure incidents were also somehow alter everyone's flow of time, as well as perspective of reality itself.

Ave in which just has remembered that fact was about to respond at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha when their meals finally arrive. That was also when Nanoha smiled and told him to continue their discussion after lunch, a suggestion in which he also personally agree with. Together they decided to have a quiet lunch together while talking about more light-hearted subject for every now and then during their meal. It was also when both Ave and Nanoha were once again realize that they truly enjoyed each other's companionship, as they spent their Christmas shopping's date and lunch together. Because of that, they could also find a time to discuss their own views in different range of issues, as well as find a proper solution for each of them while still enjoy such a wonderful Christmas shopping's date and lunch together at the same time.
ACT 5
Remembering his old life has never been easy for Ave. He despised that so much, yet simultaneously unable to abhor the very world in which his old life originated from. He undoubtedly detests the very system that acted as his old homeworld's foundation while at the same time still capable or realizing the important role it has. It was a complex feeling that Ave had even after he made his fateful choice by accepting Olivier Sägebrecht and Ayin Barshem's offer. It was the fateful choice that would forever change his life, as Ave first thought that he could finally left the aforementioned past life of his behind once and for all. Sadly, his past would always forever follow him no matter how much he wished to leave it behind.
His role as another Time Diver's candidate as well as Astraea and later on Exia's Gundam Meister has helped him find a reassurance that he would most likely have a chance to leave this past old life of his behind at last. Yet, he still need to wait for another twelve hours before a certain catastrophic phenomenon has finally gave him a chance to start a new life. Ave remembered on how Break The World has always been the main catalyst that would finally allow him to start his new life. Together with his initial encounter with his would soon be beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha's best friend and dearest fiancé, Executive Officer Fate Testarossa Harlaown, as well as his would also be trusted and faithful partner, Reinforce Eins, Ave pilots the second generation GN Drive-powered Gundam Astraea to fight against a group of enemies in which manage to accidentally arrive in his homeworld uninvited.
His decision to pilot Astraea and fought these enemies have been proven crucial on protecting his old homeworld until Nanoha together with the rest of Special Duty Section 6's operatives arrived to rescue Fate. Ave and Reinforce Eins in which has now became his Unison Device would also join Special Duty Section 6, as per-Hayate's approval before they would soon face a fateful catastrophic event that would forever change their life.
Ave that has just received the third generation GN Drive-powered Gundam Exia from Special Duty Section 6's commander, Hayate Yagami was assisting Nanoha in her routine patrol around their mobile headquarter, an LS Class Time-Space Administrative Bureau's warship, Wolfram when the first dimensional quake hit. What would soon follow this aforementioned dimensional quake was another huge tremor that shook his old homeworld, as well as countless other worlds out there. Ave remembered very well on how inadequately unprepared this old homeworld of his was, as none of its inhabitants would ever thought for such a calamity-level of catastrophic phenomenon would ever hit them in the first place.
Unlike the other Earth in which his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha and his beloved older girlfriend, Hayate originated from, Ave's old homeworld has soon plunged into a total state of chaos. He remembered very well on how his old homeworld has actually merged with three other worlds in which inhabited with super heroes and heroines. From that alone, his old homeworld should in theory possess more than enough strength to fight against any enemies in which have been trying to completely destroy it. In theory his old homeworld should also finally obtain enough resources to rebuild its strength by incorporating newer and more advance technology that the other three worlds brought with them. Sadly however, nothing has actually been done to ensure his old homeworld's protection, as each one of these supposedly defender of justices end up fighting for their own self interest.
Hayate's faithful knights and precious family members, the Wolkenritter and her faithful Unison Devices were completely appalled after witnessing the corrupt, as well as self-entitled and fractured these supposedly defender of justices have been ironically. Even the usually quiet, formal and businesslike Signum was expressing her personal disappointment towards this self-proclaimed defender of justices, in which failed to safeguard the old homeworld of her beloved meister's younger boyfriend, Ave so far. Meanwhile, Ave decided to remain quiet over the issue and instead focusing his energy and attention towards the new role that he accepted, another Time Diver's candidate, Gundam Meister and more importantly a newly adopted younger brother of Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Ace of the Sky, Nanoha Takamachi.
It was his decision, as he also decided not getting too emotionally invested at what happened on his old homeworld. Thankfully, his new family, friends, allies and love ones were kind enough to accept him by respecting his decision to do so. With no doubt, it has ultimately lifted some of his old life's burden away, as Ave always grateful for their acceptance and respect towards his decision. By the time he left his old homeworld, Ave together with his new family, friends, allies and love ones manage to temporarily halt its supposed ultimate doom while letting those aforementioned self proclaimed super heroes and heroines took any credit for that. Since only by doing so that he could finally left his past old life, his old homeworld and every single burden, as well as regret that previously haunt him behind, once and for all.
Remembering some aspects in his past old life has undeniably made him feel nostalgic. Even after fully embracing his new life and roles, Ave was still sometimes wonder on whether his old homeworld and its inhabitants could somehow survive these countless new eternal realities, as well as possibilities in which Break The World has inadvertently created after all. He already made a decision not to interfere with his old homeworld's fate unless it has been deemed necessary on doing so. Especially after he knew exactly on how his old homeworld's inhabitants were not actually very pleased and welcoming towards these inadvertent changes that Break The World has brought upon them. It was also when Ave once again remembering the time when his old homeworld's inhabitants have been foolish enough to reject these aforementioned changes instead of adapting themselves.
They always foolishly believe that their technologies, as well as militaries were highly advanced enough to protect them from anything without fail. Some of their superpowers have possessed massive stockpiles of nuclear warheads, as well as highly and sophisticatedly advance military's equipments or hardware. They believe that their highly advance generation fighter aircrafts and military's equipments or hardware could ultimately protect them from any possible threats that Break The World brought upon their world. They also believed that these famous self-proclaimed super heroes and heroines would help defeat any threats that Break The World has inadvertently brought upon them. Sadly however, their assumption was proven extremely incorrect, as they have almost been wiped out completely because of that.
Sadly however, these inhabitants of Ave's old homeworld were ultimately have been proven foolish enough to believe that their actually outdated technologies, militaries and not so strong allies of super heroes and heroines should be more than capable of protecting them. The result of this baseless thought processes were in the end proven to be fatal, as they almost completely let their enemies destroy them because of that. Ave saw everything firsthand when his old homeworld's foolish inhabitants were completely outnumbered and outgunned by their enemies in which effortlessly crush them. Even their supposedly unbeatable super hero and heroine allies were proven powerless against these new types of enemies in which relentlessly keep on attacking them.
Together with his new family, friends, allies and love ones, Ave manage to help his old homeworld through safeguarding its survival through this entire unprecedented ordeal in which Break The World has brought upon them. Yet none of his old homeworld's inhabitants would remember or even grateful for that. Since in front of their eyes, Ave's choice on becoming another Time Diver's candidate, Astraea and Exia's Gundam Meister, as well as Executive Officer's aide for Time-Space Administrative Bureau was an unforgiven betrayal that would forever tainted his name.
In the end however, Ave never actually cares on what his old homeworld's inhabitants has thought about him. He knew that most if not all of his old homeworld's inhabitants would abhor him for becoming another Time Diver's candidate and leave them behind when Break The World occurred. In front of their eyes, Ave's decision on becoming another Time Diver's candidate, Gundam Meister and Executive Officer's aide for Time-Space Administrative Bureau was a highest form of treason that they could never forgive. His old homeworld's inhabitants were also envy him for the power that he received when accepting Olivier Sägebrecht and Ayin Barshem's offer on that fateful night, approximately less than a day before Break The World took place.
For them, this power that Ave has received when becoming another Time Diver's candidate, Gundam Meister and Time-Space Administrative Bureau's combat operative was an ultimate "cheat" that cheaply written Isekai light novel's protagonists often received from out of nowhere. Again, Ave never actually cares on what his old homeworld's inhabitants have thought about him. Since he already decided to leave his old homeworld behind and started a new life in any brave new world that would awaits him with many adventures at the same time. It was when Ave left his old homeworld behind after he defeated any enemies that previously threaten its inhabitants' survival. In the end, despite still fundamentally remain corrupt, his old homeworld manage to survive albeit barely until its inhabitants began to also trying to improve themselves afterwards. Nonetheless, everything that happened to his old homeworld after he left would be a story for another time.
ACT 6
"Is everything okay, Ave-kun? You has been awfully quiet for all the sudden…" calmly asked Nanoha, as her question has startle Ave from indulging in his own thought just now. "Ah! Everything is actually fine, Nanoha-san. I was only remembering of past events that happened shortly before and after Break The World. Other than that, nothing major is currently troubling my mind…" answered Ave while bashfully smiling towards his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha in return. "Care to share any of them with me?" once again asked Nanoha, as she offered herself to listen at anything that Ave currently had in mind. Meanwhile, Ave decided to remain quiet for a brief moment, took another sip of his Kitsune udon's soup and replying back at Nanoha's question afterwards.
"They are mainly related to the old world in which I originated from, Nanoha-san. Especially with things that took place right after I made my choice to become another Time Diver's candidate…" answered Ave by retelling the story about his past experience that took place shortly after he made a fateful choice on becoming another Time Diver's candidate, Gundam Meister and ultimately Time-Space Administrative Bureau's combat operative. "Is that also the time when you helped Fate-chan in which has been thrown into your old homeworld by accident, Ave-kun?" responded Nanoha with another question in order to reconfirm the particular timeline in which her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave has been referring to in his answer.
"That is correct, Nanoha-san. It was also during that short period of timeline both Fate-san and I fought against some of Hűckebein's Eclipse Drivers, as well as stranded Tank and Grappler-class BETA strains until you have finally together with Hayate-san and everybody else to help us…" confirmed Ave affirmatively before he also personally mentioned his and Fate's confrontation with Hűckebein's Eclipse Drivers and some stranded BETA strains in return. "That must be difficult for you and Fate-chan to fight these opponents simultaneously. It was like playing any of those Soulsborne-games all over again, Nanoha-san…" replied Ave before letting a small sigh out as well, in return. "Not even experienced Time-Space Administrative Bureau's aerial combat mage could fight multiple Eclipse Drivers and small number BETA strains that easily. So, you have done something that is truly remarkable by helping Fate-chan fight these enemies long enough until we arrive, Ave-kun…" once again reminded Nanoha before smiling at her beloved adoptive younger brother, Ave in return. "I do realise that, Nanoha-san. Since Fate-san and Reinforce told me on how dangerous Eclipse Driver is for any combat mages and mobile suit's pilot due to their usually superior strength in battle…" added Ave while responding back at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha. In return, Nanoha was only approvingly smiled back at him while mentioning on how enemies' Eclipse Drivers has also became a main factor that made Time-Space Administrative Bureau decided to employ alternative methods and weaponries to combat them.
"Since ordinary magic seem to have little to no effect on them, Time-Space Administrative Bureau decided to approve Caledfwlch Techniques' EM Equipments and AEC Armaments for combat. That decision has also became one of the main reason on why Special Duty Section 6's combat operatives are armed with both EM Equipments and AEC Armaments, Ave-kun…" explained Nanoha by mentioning the main reason that made Time-Space Administrative Bureau's decision to approve EM Equipments, AEC Armaments and also later on GN Drive-powered mobile suits in combat. Nevertheless, Ave also personally suspects that a certain unexpected catastrophic phenomenon known as Break The World has inadvertently accelerated the process of mass-producing EM Equipment and AEC Armament for Storage Device's replacement.
"Surely any Bureau's combat mages should be able to also fight rogue Eclipse Drivers and BETA strains using either EM Equipments or AEC Armaments, Nanoha-san. That is why Fate-san should also be fine even without my help…" replied Ave while once again trying to argue back with his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha. "According to Fate-chan, she was still recovering from her injury when those Hűckebein's Eclipse Drivers and some stranded BETA strains attacked. Because of that, she would certainly find it difficult to defeat them alone without both you and Eins-san helping her. So, you should never try to undermine your own achievement and instead be proud of it, Ave-kun…" calmly responded Nanoha, as Ave only bashfully nodded back after listening at her compliment just now.
"Uhm, thanks for complimenting me Nanoha-san. Although, it certainly is embarrassing for me to hear that…" replied Ave before taking a final bite of his delicious Kitsune udon afterwards. "You're welcome, Ave-kun. Now, shall we get going? Since I have also just finished my meal as well…" responded Nanoha while suggesting that they should continue their discussion somewhere else. "I think we should do that, Nanoha-san. Especially with many other customers still waiting to be seated…" affirmatively replied Ave, as he glanced at line of customers that still waited to be seated outside this udon restaurant. Shortly after they leave the said udon restaurant, Ave and Nanoha decided to continue their casual conservation while exiting Uminari's commercial district simultaneously.
"You should believe in yourself more, Ave-kun. Since for someone that has no prior experience in real combat, you manage to fight those Eclipse Drivers and stranded BETA strains long enough until we finally arrive…" calmly reminded Nanoha while smiling towards her beloved adopted younger bother Ave as well, at the same time. "I actually am aware of that, Nanoha-san. Despite I also am still firmly believe that Fate-san could handle those enemies just fine by herself…" replied Ave before insisting that the renowned Time-Space Administrative Bureau's legendary Executive Officer, Fate Testarossa Harlaown should be able to fight and defeat those enemies alone by herself.
"Are you sure about that? Since Fate-chan has told me that alone, she would never be able to defeat those enemies, Ave-kun…" calmly enquired Nanoha, as she was arguing Ave's insistence on how he believes that his, as well as Reinforce Eins' role for assisting Fate in her fight against those enemies have somehow been deemed unnecessary. "Fate-san was still recovering from her injury when we fought those enemies, Nanoha-san. In her prime condition, I absolutely am certain that she would be more than capable of defeating our enemies alone by herself…" replied Ave while once again trying to convince his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha otherwise. In the meantime, Nanoha was only quietly listening at Ave's respond and argument, as she also tried to understand the very perspective that he had in mind.
Nanoha always knew that her beloved adopted younger brother Ave once had quite a low self-esteem in his old life. Even after he accepted Olivier Sägebrecht and Ayin Barshem's offer, it never completely disappeared and still sometimes haunts him. That was probably why Nanoha couldn't help herself from constantly worried over her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave. It was the very thing that Nanoha once again remembered vividly, as she tried to understand Ave's perspective on the subject of their conversation just now. In front of his eyes, Fate, Hayate and Nanoha herself were his saviours, as well as precious family that he cherished dearly. In front of his eyes, Nanoha, Fate and Hayate were invincible, as no one could ever hope to defeat them.
Sadly, such admiration has also made Ave often compared his own unique inherent skills as both another Time Diver's candidate and Gundam Meister to them. Even after he became an elite Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Executive Officer, issues such as low self-esteem and doubt still sometimes resurface every now and then. Because of that, Nanoha has made up her mind to always remind him of his own strength, as well as knowledge, skill and ability. Since other than his own low self-esteem and personal doubt, Ave was certainly more than capable of protecting those in which he truly love and cherish dearly after all. It was when Nanoha decided to respond back at Ave's reply by encouraging him to have more faith on his own skill and capability.
"In any normal circumstances, Fate-chan is indeed more than capable of fighting these enemies alone. Unlike any of these normal circumstances however, she was injured and you together with Eins-san has helped her fight these enemies. That is why Hayate-chan and I are certainly grateful, as well as firmly believe on your skill in particular, Ave-kun. I do hope that you could also learn to believe in yourself more after hearing this, as much as how Fate-chan, Hayate-chan and I always believe in you…" encouraged Nanoha, as her encouragement has seems also taken Ave by surprise. "I-I'll do my best…" bashfully replied Ave while simultaneously nodding back at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha.
"That's good, Ave-kun. By the way, would you mind if we take a small detour on our way back?" happily responded Nanoha before asking Ave another question as well, in return. "Sure! Why not? I also love to sightsee Uminari more, Nanoha-san…" affirmatively replied Ave, as he was agree with Nanoha's idea of taking a small detour on their way back to Midori-ya. "Thanks, Ave-kun. Shall we get going then?" once again responded Nanoha back while happily linking her arms around Ave's left arm. "H-hai, Nanoha-san!" affirmatively replied Ave, as he together with he accompanied his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha taking a small detour on their way back to Midori-ya.
While taking a small detour together with his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha, Ave once again decided to ponder upon some choices that he made in the past, particularly in his old life. Everything started from a seemingly insignificant choice that he made in the past. Unbeknownst to Ave, this seemingly insignificant choice has somehow led him towards a new life in which he would forever loves and cherishes more than his stagnant, as well as boring old life. Since unlike the stagnant and boring old life of his, Ave could finally met with those in which he truly cherishes above anything else, namely his new family, friends, allies, comrade in arms and love ones.
ACT 7
On their way back to Midori-ya, Ave and Nanoha decided to take a small detour, as they finally arrived on its coastal area. In the past, Ave might have visited this coastal area at least once. Yet, he for some reason could only vaguely remember any of it. Perhaps, it has anything to do with how the timeline post-Break The World has been remade for multiple times that Ave could only vaguely recall the time when he visited Uminari's coastal area in the past. Especially when he personally has also becoming one of reference and restoration or "Singularity" point in each of these aforementioned changes and experiencing more than one version of these newborn eternal realities or multiverses' timelines more than once.
Nevertheless, Ave always found the beautiful evening twilight sky and tranquil ocean of Uminari's coastal area has always captivated him. Despite could only vaguely recall memories of the captivating beautiful landscape in front of him, Ave knew exactly well on how he has been there before. Once again, as the beautiful evening twilight sky and tranquil ocean of Uminari's coastal area has captivated him, Ave briefly turned his gaze towards Nanoha, in which only smiled back at him in return. "Whenever I need to be alone, this has always been a special place for me to visit and sort my troubled thought, Ave-kun…" recounted Nanoha while still simultaneously smiling back at her beloved adoptive younger brother, Ave. Meanwhile, Ave was only quietly nodded before responding back at her statement just now.
"It is very picturesque and peaceful here, Nanoha-san…" stated Ave, as he was captivated by the beautiful evening sky and tranquil ocean of Uminari's coastal area. "Glad that you also like it, Ave-kun. Hopefully it could also help you calm your mind and sort any of your troubling thought as well…" calmly replied Nanoha before staring towards her beloved adoptive younger brother, Ave and smiled at him as well, simultaneously. "It seems that I could never hide anything from you, Nanoha-san. Although, these problems are very trivial in nature and none of us should worry about them…" responded Ave, as he decided to reassure Nanoha that his current problems are definitely trivial in comparison to anything that Nanoha, as well as Fate, Hayate and everyone else constantly face in their life. In return, Nanoha only calmly shook her head before she decided to reply back at her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave.
"Even any seemingly trivial problems could end up becoming catastrophic if they were left unattended. That is why I really hope that you would share them with me, Ave-kun…" replied Nanoha before encouraging Ave to share some of his problems with her. "Other than being trivial, these problems are also just another boring story from before I made my choice, Nanoha-san. Not actually sure if you still want to listen at any of them…" once again responded Ave while referring his current problems for not only being trivial but also simultaneously boring. "Still, I would like to hear any of these problems, Ave-kun. Since I could also perhaps help you carry some of them as well…" insisted Nanoha, as she also smiled reassuringly towards her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave at the same time. In the end, due to Nanoha's insistence, Ave decided to share his problems in which originated from his past old life.
Patiently and tentatively, Nanoha listened at Ave's story. Indeed most of his problems were trivial and never directly related to their post-Break The World's new life. Nevertheless, they still influence Ave's new life together with the entire worldview and decision that he made. Nanoha's beloved fiancé, Fate once has expressed her concern over Ave, as he often views his old homeworld through a biased lens of prejudice in the past. Even Nanoha's beloved number one protégé, Executive Officer Teana Lanster in which also happen to be Ave's mentor has also expressed the exact same concern when she first took him under her tutelage.
Certainly, Ave's negative attitude towards his old homeworld has been slowly diminished over times. It was all thanks to his cherished new family, friends, allies, comrade in arms and love ones that he could steadily find this place, in which he truly belongs. After listening at her beloved adopted younger brother, Ave, Nanoha finally understood the very thought that has troubled his mind. Since, even after he overcame these negative thoughts time after time, it would also almost totally impossible for him to completely forget about them and Nanoha was very well aware of that.
Nevertheless, Nanoha has once promised Ave to help him with a first step of finding his place in this brave new world post-Break The World. She together with her beloved fiancé, Fate and best friend, Hayate have also decided to always support Ave for each of every endeavours that he had in this new post-Break The World's life of his. Because of that, after Ave concluded his story, Nanoha decided to once again smiled while reminding him that he was no longer alone in this new post-Break The World life of his after all. Nanoha also told him that despite of negative setbacks and bad memories that he sometimes remembered, Ave has decided to keep on moving forward, as well as bravely face his new destiny.
Ave in return was only smiled before giving his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha an appreciative nod. He certainly was grateful for everything that she has done for him. From the day when they first met until now, Nanoha has always been there for him. She always protects and supports him without fail, as he was forever grateful for that. Since in the end, her presence alone has undoubtedly gave Ave strength to keep on moving forward and find his place in this very brave new world that Break The World created. It was also when Ave reassured Nanoha that he would never let those negative setbacks and bad memories to prevent him from moving forward and face his new destiny bravely as well, after all.
"Despite any problems, setbacks and challenges that I encounter, none of them would have made me regret my past choice on becoming another Time Diver's candidate. So, I will definitely be fine, Nanoha-san…" reassured Ave while smiling at his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha. "We know that you are strong, Ave-kun. Although, I also am sure that you could have become a lot stronger by relying on us for every now and then…" calmly responded Nanoha, as she decided to also acknowledge Ave's reassuring reply just now. "I agree with that, Nanoha-san. So, it would hopefully okay for me to cause you more trouble in the future. Especially when I need someone other than Hayate-san, Reinforce or Einhalt to listen at even more personal things that trouble my mind…" sheepishly replied Ave before mentioning the fact that he would most likely cause Nanoha more trouble in the future.
"I would be more than happy if you give me a lot more trouble in the future, Ave-kun. After all, it truly is what a family for…" responded Nanoha, as she decided to also give Ave the usual signature Takamachi-style smile of hers simultaneously. "Thanks, Nanoha-san. Since I really am happy to hear that from you…" thanked Ave before in return also smiled back towards his beloved adoptive older sister, Nanoha. "You're welcome, Ave-kun. Now, shall we get back? I'm sure everyone is waiting for us…" once again responded Nanoha while suggesting that they should return to Midori-ya. "I think we should, Nanoha-san. Or else, others would be worried…" replied Ave, as he was also agree with Nanoha's suggestion just now.
Together, Ave and Nanoha have once again remembered the precious thing that they discover in the past. During the date and discussion that they had today, both Ave and Nanoha could also quietly reaffirm their support towards one another. It was something that they haven't talk or even mention for quite some times, as Ave and Nanoha often preoccupied with many different things in the past. Because of that, today's opportunity to spend time together has reminded them of an irreplaceable precious thing that they found when becoming family.
