It's been two weeks since the mission and Light Guiders comforting. The group was still there, but now they were more of a group than a cult, Marie Ann taking over and being a supporter to the heroes. Although Angle and his father were still working out the kinks in their relationship, they were slowing mending the rift and working together in the office making sure both Normal and Mutants are on equal grounds in both rules and life. The Avengers were back to work as usual, though SHIELD was making sure they were involved more in helping with the clean up of any conflict with them.
Light Guider, or Hue, was admitted to a therapist and a rehab center to help him with his addiction and PTSD, Grimes making sure that he visited him often when not working with the Secret Warriors. The warriors were once again back together, Doreen taking a bit of a break to spend time with her family and Rayshaun.
Dante was looking for his girl, deciding to check her room.
Grimes: I wouldn't do that if i were you?
Dante turned to see Grimes leaning on the door.
Dante: Oh please, she's my girlfriend, i just wanted to make sure she's fine.
Grimes shrugged as Dante headed up the stairs to her room and opened the door.
Dante: Kamala is everything all-
Dante's eyes widen as he slammed the door, his face red as a tomato. Grimes shock his head in amusement as he walked over.
Dante: *Flustered* Why did i do that?!
Grimes: I warned you. I told you she was just getting ready to-
Dante: *Flustered* SHUT UP! I KNOW WHAT SHE WAS GOING TO DO! *Covers face* I can't believe i saw her in her-in her-
Grimes: Under garments.
Dante: SHUT UP!
Grimes laughed at Dante's flusterness, he was going to love every second of working with this team...he would have to tell Hue about this. Sure all that had happened was not at all what he expected, but he was glad that it happened anyway.
He was more than ready to face whatever foe would stand in their way.
