Author's Note
(Okay, seems y'all like this, so I'll keep it going! Anyways, I've held up enough of your time now, it's time to get back to The Prophecies of Silver Eyes.)
Chapter 1: The Vex
Unknown, Remnant.
After turning back on the view of whatever the hell that was, Team RWBY would be beginning to make their way down the somewhat normal set of spiral stairs before the Staircase slowly but surely began to… disappear, the bottom of the staircase going first, platforms taking their place. "Guys..? We might have to start jumping soon." Ruby would comment as the disappearing stairs slowly but surely made their way to them, Blake starting to count down. "Three, two, one, JUMP!" She would yell out, the Team jumping from the Stairs and onto the newly made platform, Weiss calling Ruby and Yang dolts under her breath as they made their way down.
Finally, when they made it to the bottom of the stairs turned platforms, they would find one of those strange bronze things they found back at the cave, now active and walking around, just staring at them with it's red eye, Team RWBY was unnerved by this to say the least, so they attempted to just quietly pass the creature, before the creature unexpectedly fired upon them, hitting Blake square in the gut, causing Blake to yell out in pain while RW(B)Y to almost instantly fire upon the creature, turning it to scrap fast. Ruby would then turn to Blake, more specifically the pretty nasty burn she had, wow, that was gonna need to be checked up on, not to mention her aura tanked some of it, putting her aura in the yellow.
Well in any case, Blake would pull out Gambol Shroud, nodding to the Team as her Aura would slowly but surely begin to work overtime to heal the burn, although it'll need to be checked up on by the nurses at Beacon. Ruby begins to lead the team through the still open portal to find more of those Bronze Creatures, Ruby would load Crescent Rose with Electricity Dust, one of many dust types, calling out to Weiss, "Boost me, Weiss!" Weiss would use a good ol' Glyph to make a platform, Ruby jumping on it before the Glyph boosted Ruby into the air, Ruby raining down electric hell upon her enemies, causing several of the robots to be turned into Scrap Metal.
Yang meanwhile straight up kicks one of them down and crushing the main power source of the creature, the milk ripoff spilling all over the place. Finally, Blake over here cleaning up the rest with pot shots from Gambol Shroud, downing the rest. The Portal would finally close behind them as they began to try to get the hell out of there with a mad dash, back at the waterfall they would encounter a much larger bronze beast of sorts, with its broad shoulders, three eyes, and a strange purple shield around it, this would be bound for quite a fight.
The creature would fire purple explosive balls of death at the team, causing them to search for cover, Ruby firing at it did little to nothing, still showing that purple shield. After a few moments of their fire doing little to nothing, the creature would fucking teleport a short distance directly in Weiss' face, causing Weiss to feel a rare emotion for her, fear. In her panic, she would trip, nearing the edge of the slight cliff, the bottom being the ripoff electric milk pool. Ruby and Co. didn't know what to d
At an unpredictable speed, Ruby would reload the sniper, loading it with Gravity Dust before firing the dust at the… thing, causing the shield to break almost instantly,and since it was the same element, a little explosion occurred, putting the damn thing down for good, and saving Weiss' life potentially in the process. Weiss would sigh out in relief, saying to Ruby with a thankful tone, "Thanks, Ruby." Weiss would say, getting up as she calmed herself down a bit, eventually having regained her composure as she and the rest of RWBY made it back out of the cave, and Ruby was already reporting the VERY strange cave with the darn robots and portal, although it sounded like mad rambling. Well in any case, their extraction was coming in around twenty minutes later in the form of a Bullhead, AKA a Helicopter mixed with a plane, with it landing and the back opening up to reveal empty space, the team entering the Bullhead, the ship quickly beginning to take off and Head to good ol' Beacon.
Beacon Academy, Remnant
Finally back at Beacon, it was time for Blake to get her burn checked up on, the rest of the team tagging along with Blake, making their way to the Nurse's office. Once there, a nurse would usher over Blake to a bed, Blake laying down on it before the nurse began to examine the burn, saying, "This doesn't look like any of the burns I've seen, it's like a roast chicken down here." Now obviously even more concerned, Ruby would ask the Nurse, "Is she gonna be okay?" Ruby would ask, the Nurse quickly responding with a calm tone. "A day in the infirmary should be good, although I wonder, what caused this?"
Ruby would sigh out in relief before saying calmly, "A… violent robot we found in a cave." The Nurse would simply stare at Ruby, before sighing while saying under their breath, "Kids and their excuses these days." before speaking aloud to the three of them, "Thank you kindly, now you can head on back now while I fix your teammate right up, okay?" The team would nod before heading back to their dorm finally, the Nurse starting to fix Blake right up.
Team RWBY's Dorm had… bunk beds, or at least that's what they called them, as they looked more like accidental deaths waiting to happen with books holding up one bed, BOOKS. Anyways, Weiss would silently head to studying, not saying a word to Yang or Ruby who was sitting on a bed, the both of them hugging each other, Yang saying to her. "It wasn't your fault Blake got hurt, Rubes. Look at the brightside, at least Blake is going to be okay." Yang would say, which would indeed sooth the Young Rose, although within Ruby's head, thoughts were brewing, mainly being what were those machines, what was that place, and HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE, HOW LONG HAVE THEY BEEN THERE?! I suppose time will tell, eh?

Actually, I have been honestly thinking about Asher Mir'ing someone in the future, although that will be possibly happening in the far future of this story, also for your other question. Looks over to Vex Wyverns, ...yeah I could see that happening.
