There's light again.

It was blinding me, overcoming my senses too hard to ignore. I try to imagine there's a shade to run to, using my arms to shield myself, but when I go to move my limbs, all I can hear is screaming.

It hurts so much.

But whatever is hurting is rapidly hurtling me towards blurry colors, and soon those colors turn to shapes. I see trees, pastures, and a lush field. But it's eerie, unfamiliar territory to me, my senses light every single one of my nerves, and my blood rushes to my head, and I panic, frantically trying to think.

I don't understand where I am. I don't understand anything at all. One moment I hear someone calling my name, the beginning of a fight—the nether. Now I'm in the middle of a forest. Where could I be? Was I somehow transported to the Oasis? This looks nothing like it. There would be a Tabernacle somewhere near, and I don't see anything like the Amaterasu. Am I in Adolla? No, that can't be it either? I need to look down and see what's causing this pain.

And so I do, but I almost cough up whatever I had for dinner last night instead—curse Lieutenant Hinawa's good cooking. Never go for seconds.

There's a large gash going upwards from my right arm, showing deep raw flesh, blood, and bone. My stomach is no better, as there's blood coming out from under my uniform from what looks to be a puncture. My body is riddled with scratches everywhere, and dried blood settled on the surface mixed with the dirt and flies buzzing around.

That's going to need a couple of stitches and alcohol.

There's no time to think as a roar so deafening blast throughs the trees, shaking the ground in return. I moan loudly, trying my best to move away from the direction with what little energy I have. I stretch back my left arm and scoot back little by little, trying to perch myself on the nearest tree as best as I can. Sooner or later, I'm going to bleed out and die, but I'd rather bleed out than face whatever infernal that was. My fire force jacket lay haphazardly across me as I try and cover myself up as best I can, and I curl up, begging Sol that the infernal doesn't see this bright ass thing.

Maybe I can cover myself with leaves?

"Eren! Look!" A voice. Sounds girly.

What the fuck is that? Another company? Out this far?

"What the hell? Who is that? Call Captain Levi!"

A captain? From a company? But I don't know a captain by that name? Where am I? Who are these people? Can't I be in Tokyo? But I was in the nether. There's no way I could have gone underground to the middle of a pasture forest in .2 seconds. I need answers, and I need them now, but I'm in no condition to get them. If I fight these people, I only get enemies. But what if they are enemies anyways. No, remember what Captain Obi always said. Be cautious, but there's no reason to be untrusting. It's ok. Plus, you trained with Company 8. It's ok. Calm down, Sachi. It's ok. Calm Down.

By this time, I'm still under my coat. It's time I start moving. My arm is still severely wounded, and my puncture wound hurts like hell, but I can't die here if it comes to it. I need to make a fire if need be.

I snake my hand out of my coat behind my back and make a small flame with a bit of smoke, just behind the tree for some smoke to be released to harden into a knife.

My third-generation ability: Grimm's Revenge, allows me to harden the soot from the smoke of my flames and make bladed weapons, and infinite time as long as I can create a flame.

"What do you want, Brat?" A third voice enters, I can't see their faces as my eyes are still shielded from my coat, but my ears pick up their locations.

"Captain, come look, there's someone under that bright coat. I've never seen that insignia, and there's blood. It could be a titan shifter." The first girly voice speaks again.

A what?

"Be careful. Engage slowly, bring Commander Erwin and Hange. Fire yellow smoke but continue the mission. Armin, leave, Eren, stay." The third voice speaks; he has a very monotone and dull tone, kind of like Lieutenant Hinawa. His name seems to be Levi. Captain Levi.

So, more people are coming.

"Yes, captain!"

Eren and the Captain are staying; the girly one Armin is leaving. The Commander and another one are coming. Can I take them out? So, I go out now? Should I wait for the Commander? The monotone voice sounds no-nonsense. Maybe he has a heart like Lieutenant. Maybe not. I can't really do anything.

"Tch. If you're awake, then get the fuck up. I hate wasting time on a mission. Titan shifter." Monotone.

Man, I should peek my head out, huh. Ain't making this easy. And what the hell is a Titan Shifter?

I grab my left hand and move the jacket slowly down and squint at the light again, looking at two figures on their horses. Horses? Why aren't they on cars on something? Wouldn't that be much more conventional?

"Ummmmm… hi?" I squeak out, but my voice is hoarse, and I sound like a dying dog. Great. The monotone one comes closer and points his swords at me, and the other one goes for his hand. Like to bite.

"Who are you? State your business. Why are you out this far from the gates? Are you a titan shifter? Whom do you affiliate with?" He does not sound so monotone anymore. He looks about a bit older than me, but definitely the same height, maybe a little shorter. He has some weird parted black hair and a monotone face to match the voice. Both he and the other kid are wearing the same uniform.

The kid was more wide eyes with green eyes and dark brown hair. Taller than the shorter boy, whom I'm now assuming is Captain Levi. Matching voices to faces, this one has to be…. Eren? Pretty good for a kid who looks 17. Same age as Arthur and Shinra.

"Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait. What is a titan? Is that a type of infernal?" I question confused. Are there different types of infernals now?

"What the fuck are you going on about?" He fires back, pressing the blade closer to me; I hear the neighing of two more horses, and arrives comes a blonde man that definitely held the air of a commander and a redhead girl with glasses who was staring at me as if she was Captain Hibana.

"I- I mean, you said titans. Are they a new form of infernals? Or is that your version of infernals?" I stutter out. I just don't have the energy to fight other people right now.

I'm feeling faint again.

"Captain, if I may," The redhead girl questions and hops off her horse. The other men reach out, and the Captain rolls her eyes at her behavior that she would do something reckless, again, I'm assuming.

"Where are you from?" she asks, looking at my coat.

"I am a Fire Soldier, apart of Special Fire Force, Company 8. Our main objective is to solve the secrets behind the Spontaneous Human Combustion Phenomenon, and to relieve those who have suffered transforming into Infernals, not just to protect the public, but also to free the Infernal from their suffering." Better to get it out than to keep it in; maybe if I explain it all as best as I can, they'll understand.

"Spontaneous Human Combustion? You mean humans are combusting into… titans?" Eren goes off again.

"I seriously don't understand what's going on. One moment I was with my comrades in the Nether and the Tokyo Empire was going to get blown up. And the next I'm here. I don't know where I am. Is this the Chinese peninsula? Please. I have to get home. If I don't, the White-Clad are going to end humanity and kill everything. I need to get home." I plead with them, looking at their faces; I make the last move I can make and shift myself as Hange moves back and puts her hand on her sword; Levi moves forward with his blade once more as in a way to let me know that one wrong move will result in death, Eren's hand is still close to his mouth. Eren might be pyrokinetic. But then again, none of this is making much sense. The Commander observed me, detecting my every move and calculating what he needs to know just by my breath. I'm sure of it.

I moan in pain, and they see the full extent of my injuries as the coat slams heavily to the ground.

"They're going to eradicate humankind, you're military right? You're wearing the same uniforms, contact the Special Fire Force. The Evangelist already burned our world once. They're going to end humanity. I need to get home. I don't understand what titans are. IF you can't contact my Company then please if you just heal me, I can help. I just need stitches. I can figure out a way to get home while assisting. I need to save my company. As a fire soldier, it's my duty."

As I try to move closer to them to plead more, I see spots dance around my head, and I know it's the end of the line for the day. They either leave me here, or they don't.

And it's not looking too good for me.

"….s…w….u…" Someone's mumbling next to me.

"Hey, Lieutenant Hinawa, five more seconds until training. I promise I'll train harder."

"I'm not your Lieutenant." That monotone voice!

I quickly sit up and realize I'm in bed. In a jail cell. And my friendly monotone buddy is across from me leaning on the wall on the opposite side of the jail cell, with the Commander, the Eren boy, and the redhead girl.

"Oi, it's about time you got up, brat. It's been a couple of days." He speaks, staring straight at me with such fire I thought he really could give Lieutenant Hinawa a run for his money.

"Oh. A couple of days?!" I yell and try to sit up, only to realize my right arm is virtually no help in its sling right now, and neither is my stomach wound either. My jacket is gone, and I'm slightly worried as I look around for it, but I think they might have just sewn it and put it away for cleaning.

"We have some more questions if you don't mind." Again, the Commander speaks, so I pry my eyes from the short ever annoyed Captain to the calmer Commander and eye him and down.

Maki and Sister Iris would have a field day gossiping about him.

"Please, the Fire Force is open knowledge to the Public. Ask away."

"What is the Fire Force, exactly?"

"The Special Fire Force is a separate entity from regular Firemen, as I said our main objectives are to solve why Spontaneous Human Combustion happens and to relieve those who are suffering from infernals as well as protect the public," I answer, the typical Fire Soldier answer given to anyone.

The group looks unamused and maybe unbelieving. But if I just don't understand why that would be. Do they not have infernals in this area? And is there no plant running to keep this area safe for civilians?

"What is Spontaneous Human Combustion? and Firemen...?" This time, the redhead asks, she's writing things down in her notebook, and I assume she's just like Captain Hibana now. They would get along so well.

"Firemen? Really? Like people who put out fires? And we don't know why it happens, but humans turn into infernals randomly, causing them to burst into flames and turn rampant, killing those around them and destroying everything in sight. The only way to kill them is by striking them where their heart used to be." As I explain this, I scan their faces carefully, trying to recognize at least some understanding, but all I get is displeasing glares or looks of disbelief, which puts my heartbeat at an abnormal pace. Do they not know?

"These… titans… what do they do?" I need to deflect back to their world or gain insight into what is going on here; maybe I can understand more.

"At the moment, the most we know is that titans are either pure or can be eaten and transform into humans, gained from other titans." The Commander responds.

Well, that's not very helpful.

"So…. We're the same." I sigh out; my head hung low.

"I guess we are." He responds, leaning forward with his hands clasped together in his lap. God help me, this man is hot.

I'll admit monotone boy got something too. I could dig a threesome. Quit it, Sachi, no time for horny thoughts. You could quite possibly die and you're sitting here lusting after their fucking Commander. Like the whole leader. The Big Guy. Hah. the Big-. Seriously.

For a moment, I stop to look around for their power supply and see that everything is rather primitive, and I remember they traveled in horses. Are they a third world country? Or the area?

"How do you power your lights? Is there an Adolla burst that you use? A plant? I've only seen fire and wood so far. And you used horses back there; I haven't seen a single vehicle or electrical equipment." There has to something more here, and I need to know what's going on.

"Adolla burst? No, everything here is what we have. We only use horses and carts to move around. You use something else?" The redhead speaks up again, eager to start writing. I nod and look at her to begin speaking once more,

"Yes! We have vehicles! Cars that run on electricity and Amaterasu's power! It's a big plant that runs on the Adolla burst. We're one of the only empires to run on it after the Great Calamity. There's all sorts of equipment and special stuff that fire force soldiers and civilians use that runs on Amaterasu's power." I explain, but I need to go further.

"Listen, as a fire soldier, I have to help others in need, and if I crossed over to wherever this is, I don't know who else crossed over either. At the moment, I need to know where I am in terms of the world. The white-clad is an extortionary group that none of you can take on, much less infernal. If I'm locked up here, I can do nothing while destroying your world as they are mine. Help me home, and I will help you as much as I can in the meantime while I am here within my abilities." This is my bargaining chip; I have no other way of getting home other than this, no matter how much danger it put me in.

I can see the wheels turning in the Commander's head, the Captain just stares me down, and the Hange girl just scribbles away in her notebook. Eren looks uneasy about the whole thing, but as I look over to him, our eyes meet, and I throw a slight smile, I see a little blush, and I almost squeal at how much he reminds me of the boys back home.

"Well, seeing as we have no way of confirming this as of right now, you/'' be under Captain Levi and Eren's watch. Any move, and I will give Captain Levi full permission to kill you at any second's moment. If you help us find what is in this boy's basement and retake Wall Maria, we will help you go home. Is that a deal?"

"Deal."
