AN "Ok, honesty time." Peter Parker, Spectacular Spider-Man S2x13
I find this quote relatable mainly because I'm going to be honest with whoever ends up reading this -probably no one though (if you are, thank you. During the last episode of the Mandalorian (so far) I balled my eyes out. The scene with Grogu and Din Djarin was beautiful, I had previously called the helmet thing before going into the episode but even still, it was better than I could have ever imagined.

Dagobah, two days after the events of The Rescue
A lone X-Wing landed between two trees scraping its right wing off of one. An astromech droid seated behind the cockpit beeped in disapproval. The glass window lifted allowing exit from the cockpit as an unlikely duo clambered out. One was a man in flowing black robes and a hood drawn over his eyes leaped from the side, landing with a splash in a nearby puddle with a little bundle of tan robes clutched in his arms. It poked its tiny green head out into the world, exposing big, black eyes; a button nose; a mouth open in awe and great ears shaped like bat wings. It moaned a little moan, still just an infant in a new place in a cruel, cruel galaxy. The hooded figure spun round to face the astromech droid, "I'm not getting you down Artoo. Wail all you want, it's your fault." The droid beeped quietly. The hooded figure walked to a lonely shack in the middle of the trees and placed the child on a blanket. He pulled down his hood to look at the child, "I last saw a dear friend under this blanket," he said quietly, "Take care of it. He was very much like you." The child's eyes turned sad, a tear on his cheek. A two-syllable moan came from his tiny mouth. It sounded rather like 'Mando'. "I know, I know. I can't take you back to him yet." With that the one in the dark robe patted the little's child's head and turned to a blue, translucent man in robes with greying hair. "Could you watch over this child, Obi-Wan?" The one in dark robes asked.
"Yes, Obi-Wan replied. I don't see why not." He smiled a smile only an older man could wear well and beamed at the child. The little green one cowered for the blanket and dived underneath, scared of the apparition in the doorway.
Back at the X-Wing, Artoo continued to beep about something, until the one in the dark robes came back. He splayed his right hand and pointed it at the droid. It was in a glove, as if to hide something nothing else could. The astromech droid slowly rose as the gloved hand was raised. On it moved, the droid in tow. Finally, Artoo landed and he instantly whizzed past the cloaked magician. "Thank you, Luke," The magician said- obviously named Luke, "You're welcome Artoo." Against the cold, Luke rolled his eyes.

Nevarro, six months after the events of The Rescue

There was legend around these parts. If you did anything to displease the Marshall, she would set her Mandalorian on you. The rhyme went something like this:

Don't do anyone dirty,
Don't be cruel or mean,
For if the Marshall is angry,
She sets the Unkillable Mando on you.

Well, it was a nursery rhyme. All of 'em had creepy warnings, right? Balooka Forn was a Togruta male, peak physical condition. His skin was orange and white markings covered his face; his white head tails were very popular with the ladies. But Balooka was not superstitious and did not heed warnings from a nursery rhyme. It was ridiculous. He was in the local bar playing a dirty game of cards with some naïve sap. Didn't even know Forn was cheating. Which was sort of the point of cheating but he wasn't being exactly discreet. That was his mistake.

Marshall Cara Dune was sitting in a corner booth with Greef Karga. Din Djarin was sitting in the corner. No need to give the game away, Dune thought. "I thought Nevarro was legit." Came Din's voice.
"It is," Karga retorted, a little to loud. A togruta head spun to see them. He looked cocky, obviously recognising the Marshall. "The Togruta," Djarin said quietly. "He's scamming that Quarren out of a ship. Permission, Marshall Dune?"
"Permission." Cara nodded. Djarin got up and stepped over Karga, blaster in hand. Now the Togruta was scared. Unkillable Mando.

AN Let me know if I should continue the Nevarro section as it's own story as this is just a one-shot.
