Chapter 21

"I know this isn't a good time mother, but would you consider having the family meet me outside for a few minutes?"

Boros was determined to get the family together, out of curiosity, Alley was interested to see what he wanted to say. "Boros, what's going on?" she asked.

His smile grew. "Family reunion!" he decreed. "Please, it is worth it, especially at a time like this… please." He asked gently.

It's been non stop for the past week for Alley, working on trying to fix Bad, getting everything back to normal as well as ensuring all threats are dealt with. With a sigh, she nodded in agreement to the notion. "Okay then, let me call the family together."

He smiled and rushed out to prepare, whatever he was going to prepare!

They gathered outside of the spar pit of all places, even stranger still was Amai came to see for himself what the fuss was about. "It's not every day your family gets together, curious still that Boros wanted everyone to be here…" he said offhandedly.

Alley rolled her eyes as Boros appeared before them by teleportation. He was smiling to everyone's presence and explained that he has traveled a lot in the past while. "I have learned so many things, and seen so many wonders… I also understand and appreciate life as well." He explained. "Oh, I can't forget… Gene, come join me," he said in his communicator.

Gene appeared, but was much different than he was before.

Alley never really saw how much he changed, after all, she was too focused on Metal Bat and what happened to him to notice!

But he stood as tall as Boros now, he had a wider build to him too. Genus was stunned to his son's transformation. "Gene…" he whispered.

"Hey dad… sorry I didn't tell you about this. But, I did some modifications on myself to survive space…" he said offhandedly. Then, his sights turned to his siblings. He hugged Misty tightly, but when his eyes came upon Jason, he paused.

Jason peered away. "I'm… not the same brother you left behind…" he said meekly.

Gene snickered. "You think I am going to complain about you changing when I've got alien DNA in me?" he snickered. Pulling his brother into a firm embrace. "Either way, you are still Jason to me." He said.

The brothers shared a moment together before separating. Boros smiled to the reunion but then his focus shifted to his little brothers. Their eyes opened, but once they saw him, they shied away!

"Hey, that's your big brother!" Suiryu playfully scolded.

Boros snickered. "It's okay, mine are the same way." He decreed.

This, made everyone freeze. "Wait, what?" demanded Alley's father.

Then they saw movement. His hair was shifting on its own until an eye peered out from it! Then, another appeared but it had two eyes… two… yellow eyes. They kept in the hair, trying to say hidden. Luna however appeared a little heartbroken. "Oh, Bory…" she said with a sigh.

But Alley noticed the two little ones were transfixed on her. Boros peered up and said. "Go and greet her!"

It was a mad dash as the two lunged out of his hair and suddenly were on Luna, staring into her eyes, one hung off her shoulder. "Father?" one asked curiously.

He gave a proud nod.

Their eyes widened with happiness. "MOMMA!"

Everyone paused, but Gene was laughing. "Remember a while ago father, I told you about my discovery? This is it. Boros's people reproduce one of two ways. They either mate with a strong female or fight a strong female. Either way it equals reproduction!"

"Wait, Boros gave birth!?" demanded Hunter.

"I was just as surprised as you were, but the original's memories have confirmed by his father that he either fights a powerful female, or he finds one to mate with. Either way. It ends up in reproduction. Perhaps this explains why my people are not that well known, reproduction is difficult when there are not many woman or female warriors." He said.

Luna was on cloud nine. "YOU ARE SO CUTE!" she decreed.

"Great, we're grandparents again…" Alley heard her father mutter.

"Haha, you're an old fart!" laughed Knuckle.

Boros however stared at him oddly. "I became aware of what happened, the timeline that was messed with…" he said to him.

"My uncles did speak of something like that, but, we didn't notice it." Alley said offhandedly.

"Nor would you, you never existed in the alternative." Boros explained. "However, to prevent such a thing from happening again, I have created something to ensure the timeline is protected. I do admit, I had help with this thanks to one of the crewmembers named Prodigy. Also, I needed a guardian who I know would defend this timeline with their life. And found the prefect one!" he said rather proudly. "We have gotten really good at making cyborgs." He said with a grin.

Garou's back suddenly went up. "Wait, don't you need like a human brain to make a cyborg?" he whispered to Melee.

She nodded as well. "Boros, what did you…"

Suddenly there was a sharp sound of something falling from the sky, it was as if a missile was targeting them and was about to hit!

The spar pit got deeper as whatever fell to earth made an even greater crater within. The dust kicked up and blocked the view from everyone as Boros smiled. "I assure you, we spared no expense for this…" he said proudly.

Garou turned and saw Street and Knuckle freeze. The dust has yet to clear, but they appear to be able to see through it. "Wait… no, you didn't!" protested Street.

Knuckle was on the verge of tears. "Shit man… SHIT!" he protested and appeared to be at a loss.

It was starting to concern Melee too. "Boros, what did you do?" she asked.

The dust settled and the thing that fell to the earth was starting to approach them. He stood taller than the Brawler brothers, and appeared bigger than them to. His hair long and brown and a beard to match. "Hey, he looks like a Braw…" before he could finish, he noticed Melee fell into a stunned silence. Tears welded in her eyes as Titan reached over.

"Let me take the twins mom," he said gently.

She blindly passed them over to him, as she began to approach this dominating figure. They two had a silent stand off, but the man smiled to her warmly.

"Hello Darlin'" he said gently.

Melee couldn't hold back her tears anymore, her arms wrapped around this strange man before she cried out. "Daddy!"

Garou felt his life just got a little more complicated…
