A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
STAR WARS
Battle of the Sith Lord
It has been two hundred years since the fall of the Galactic Empire. Decades have passed since the death of Darth Krayt and the fall of the One Sith in the following year. During that time, the Galactic Federation Triumvirate prevailed at uniting the Galaxy, becoming more centralised as the Sith menace was thought to be a distant memory. But alas, the Sith persisted.
The remnants of Krayt's Empire, unable to accept defeat against the Triumvirate, became warlords on remote planets with support from the Shadow Collective, a syndicate composed of several criminal organisations led by the enigmatic Darth Kroan. These soldiers fight a rebellion with hope to restore the Empire.
As the Collective starts spreading their influence, the three leaders of the Triumvirate, Empress Thea Fel, Master Kane Skywalker and Admiral Antilles, fight to keep control of the Galaxy as the criminal underworld threatens to rob them of their influence...
Chapter I
It was a relatively busy day in Mos Eisley. The cantina was filled with bounty hunters and other vagabonds as per usual. They shared drinks, discussing business among other things. In all that ruckus, a woman entered the cantina. She stood out from the rest of the thugs, not in her brown hair and eyes, nor in her black duster coat, white shirt, brown pants or black boots, but by the Lightsaber she carried on her belt.
Eyes turned to her, some being glares as others were smiles. The bartender greeted her as she sat at the bar. "Kira. I presume you came here for work?" He asked, to which Kira replied "Yeah, what bounties do you have, Nosst?"
Nosst, the Trandoshan bartender, pulled a specific bounty. "That one might fetch you a nice price given your… debt, problem." Kira looked at the contract. Sam Skylar, a former member of the Shadow Collective that defected service. Any men that were deserting the criminal underworld were dead men, but the bounty was more rewarding for him to be taken alive.
Kira sighed and took the contract. "Might get the Collective to shut up about what I owe em. I'll take the job." She ordered a drink while she analysed the details. Apparently, Skylar was trying to get in contact with the Triumvirate, but had no ship to get off world and meet them. Kira was not the first to take this contract, but she was determined to complete it.
After finishing her drink, Kira stood up and paid for her drink and a little extra for the info. She left the cantina, embarking her speeder as she headed towards where Skylar hid. It was a while of travel in the sandy dunes of Tatooine as she drove towards her destination: an abandoned Imperial outpost in the desert, dating back to Krayt's Empire no less.
Kira disembarked her speeder upon reaching the outpost, but as she started approaching, the automated turrets activated and fired at her. Instantly, she pulled her Lightsaber and ignited a green blade, sloppily blocking a few bolts before having to take cover behind a nearby rock. The turrets kept suppressing fire, then stopped.
The intercom outside suddenly rang as a man's voice came through. "Lightsaber, huh? Clearly by how you poorly deflected those shots, you're no Jedi. I'm guessing you got this toy from the black market," the man taunted, with assurance in his voice.
Kira growled. "And I'm assuming you're Sam Skylar, my target!" She exclaimed. "Look, judging by how you need turrets to protect you, I can guarantee that you aren't the best in a straight up fight. How bout you surrender and make this easier for the both of us?" Kira suggested.
Sam laughed as he stated "What, so the Collective can skin me alive? Not a chance." At these words, Kira sighed and used the Force on the turrets. She ran out and made one target the others as it fired, destroying them before drawing her blaster and shooting it down.
Sam remained silent over the intercom as Kira started cutting the door of the outpost open with her Lightsaber. Sam watched the door being flung towards him and opened fire with his blaster, shooting the Lightsaber away from Kira's hand. Before he could gloat a victory line, Kira pulled his blaster away with the Force and aimed her's at his head.
Sam sighed and raised his hands in surrender. "Alright… you win, bounty hunter. Hope it's worth it," he exclaimed, defeated. Kira tossed cuffs at him and instructed him to cuff himself. He did so as Kira walked to him, grabbed him by the arm, pulled her Lightsaber back to her and took him back to her speeder.
