Chapter 25

Pac watched on as his grandfather did his rounds in the Association. Heroes stopped and stared at him as he would return the glare back at them. "Huh, you got some interesting folks here!" he announced to Pac.

"Yeah, well… they are human…" he muttered.

He fell silent shortly after but his grandfather was giving him this look. "You never wanted to be like this, did ya?" he asked out of the blue.

"No, it wasn't my first choice to say the least… I wanted to be normal…"

"Overrated" His grandfather stated. "Look here son, you have to see things from a different perspective. Consider everything you have been through, endured and accomplish. Look back on it and ask… would I have survived that anyways if it wasn't for who I am?"

Pac froze to the question. "You do realize, that most of the shit that happens in this family is because we are this way," he said.

But he merely got a slap on his back, he nearly fell face first into the ground!

"Look here son, you are too harsh on yourself as well as the world, yeah, it sucks, life can suck. I'll be the first to tell ya, because I could have cared less as to how your mother… my daughter became the way she is now… I would have been there for her for each and every time you kids came about." He said. "I missed all of that… I missed you kids growing up, and I also missed everything that happened to you… I wasn't there to protect ya"

"Grandpa…"

"Now, don't let this old man ramble on, you got to tell me about the girl you are holding on to… How the hell are you holding on to her?!"

Pac froze, he completely forgot about Zenko in his side. "Oh shit…" he muttered. He attempted to get his body to uncoil, but the refused to budge. "Damn it not again…"

"What's wrong?"

Pac sighed. "I… don't have compete control over my own body like this… Sometimes it listens, other times it doesn't… But she's in me! I have to get her out, she might die if she is in there too long!" he protested.

Yet his grandfather stared at him oddly. "I don't quite know how you function here, but it appears your little lady is nestled in pretty good… Huh… You got these things attached to her…"

Pac froze. "What things?" he whispered.

"Dunno, but they appear to be connected to her… guess to keep her fed and stuff… weird, but then again, I ain't going to look a gibed horse in the mouth!" he laughed. "That and perhaps it's that baby in her too…"

His heart must have stopped in his chest. "Baby…" he whispered. "But… that was only a few days ago…"

"Oh yeah, your mother never warned you about Brawler brew huh?" his grandfather asked with a smirk and nudged him playfully. "We're quite potent… looks like your father was too, double whammy" he snickered. "Congrats boy! You're gonna be a papa!"

Alley had let Boros allow a few of his crew members off the ship to take in earth. She was amazed that the telepath aliens were most interested in her technology. "It's outdated, however I think we can make it work…"

Gene was doing his rounds with these aliens himself. "We will ask Prodigy what to do, he would be best to consult on the notion."

Alley however was more interested in the two serpent women from Medusa. They have been wondering the halls oddly, only to stop and stare for a moment before moving on. Yet as she trailed them, she found out why. They were stalking her brother Titan!

Titan was in his serpent form all the time, he was helping mom with the twins once more when the two began to watch from a distance. "He's huge!" one whispered. "Hissleen, I think he has potential!"

"I have already seen him with another's children Coila, but I don't know…"

"Can I help you ladies?" Alley called.

The two paused and turned to her, they bowed respectfully and explained they were in search of a mate. "Boros told us that there were males here, and perhaps they may consider being our mate. We are interested in Titan, but he has yet to even acknowledge us!" Coila said.

Alley giggled. "He may not be looking for a mate yet either," she said gently. "he likes to keep busy by helping my mother with her newborns."

They sighed to it. "Damn, when a male is occupied with little ones, there is no breaking them away from it…" muttered Hissleen.

Alley giggled on the notion, it was true.

"Do you have more brothers like him?" asked Coila.

She nodded. "I can introduce you, but also understand they themselves may not be looking for mates yet either."

They didn't appear bothered by it, so Alley went around and began to introduce the ladies to her brothers. She pointed out Yuki in the lab who was in his human form. "Oh, no scales… we want serpent!" protested Coila.

"I assure you he is serpent, he just likes his human form in the lab, if not he tends to take up a lot of space,"

They went to a spar room where Yuuma was training himself in serpent form. He was doing rather well and the ladies appeared smitten. "Oh, look at this one, good size, nice agility… he must be powerful" they whispered between each other.

She moved on and introduced Rimuru, but again, since he was in human form, there was no interest.

Then they saw him.

Slinking through the halls, he called out. "I'm going hunting! I'll be back!"

"Watch yourself out there Tempest!" Alley called back.

Yet as he drifted away, the two females were nearly ready to chase after him, instead they turned to Alley, almost desperate. "Is he a brother?!"

She nodded. "That's Tempest, he's the biggest out of his siblings…"

They began to squeal with delight. "He's perfect! He's big enough to carry two broods, we won't have to wait!" Hissleen said.

"I know! He's perfect!" Coila stated.

"Ladies, hold on here!" Alley scolded. "Tempest is spoken for, he has a girlfriend."

They appeared confused. "What's the problem then? The female can share him" said Coila. "It's the way!"

She gently shook her head. "Remember you are on Earth here, the rules of Medusa do not necessary apply here."

They were stunned. "But… we thought we would secure a mate here…" Hissleen said.

"You might, but you also have to understand they may say no as well…" before she could continue, she saw Snek approaching.

"Hey Alley, you seen my kids?"

Yet as the two turned to him, their eyes widened. Their heads bowed before him. "Grand serpent Sneak! We didn't know you came too!"

"Huh…" Snek muttered in confusion.

"Uh, ladies, this here is Snek… our Snek… Original… the one on your planet is his clone." She explained.

"Oh… does he have a mate? Our Queen loves her version of him…"

"Queen…" Snek muttered once more in confusion.

"Perhaps you ladies just ought to step back and take in the culture of Earth for a little while. Maybe hold off on the mate hunt,"

They sighed aloud. "Very well, out of respect for Lord Boros's mother." They said in unison. "Too bad none of these males have venom. Those are treasured back home…"

When they were out of earshot, Alley turned to Snek. "Warn them… and soon the moment you find them," she said in a warning tone.

He blindly nodded his head as he quickly searched for his sons!
