Chapter 26
Luna kept staring at them lovingly.
The two children she never knew she had were sitting before her enjoying their first earth meal. Boros was very gentle with them as he explained the food and how to consume it. Garos took to it right away, same with Meteora. "Momma, dad said you are strong, are you really?" her son asked.
"I like to think so," she said and smiled.
"Could you and I spar after?"
She was taken aback by the request. Boros was smirking though. "Every since he could talk, he has asked about you. I told him how powerful and beautiful you were and since then, he has questioned me on your power and abilities. I explained it was best to see them first hand."
Luna smiled and nodded. "How about tomorrow, sit and enjoy yourself for today and tomorrow, we will spar. I promise"
Her son nodded in agreement. "Momma, what do you do here? Are you an overlord like daddy?" Meteora asked.
She laughed aloud. "No, I'm a hero. I help save people from monsters," she explained.
"Oh… is it fun?"
"Sometimes, especially if you find a hard one to fight, it makes it last a little longer."
"The children have the same issue, they cannot seem to find an opponent strong enough to handle them," Boros said offhandedly.
"We'll see about that tomorrow, but now you also have a lot of uncles and a powerful grandfather!"

Pac was a wreck.
After being told by his grandfather that Zenko was expecting, just after a few days no less, he was worried to what Metal Bat would do when he found out. But first, he had to get proper advice and found his father. Pac explained it all to him, yet his dad didn't appear that startled. "Well congrats for one, second… what the hell has you so worried?"
"I promised Bad we wouldn't do anything serious until we got married…" he whispered. "Dad… what do I do?"
"Well you tell him now, you ain't going to get a reaction out of him!" he laughed.
Pac didn't find it funny. "Dad, seriously."
"Sorry couldn't resist. Look, tell Bad a little later on, he's got enough to deal with, and as long as he knows Zenko is safe, he's good. He doesn't have to know everything right away."
He nodded in agreement just as his hand suddenly began to caress his stomach oddly. "I wouldn't do that either around him, he will know something's up."
Pac realized what he was doing and stopped, yet at the same time it was soothing for him to do.
"I better ask if Alley can help us make a place in that mountain side… on wait, she's fixing the house first…"
"House is done,"
"Huh?"
"She finished that in two hours after learning it was destroyed."
"Oh…"
"She's been busy with Gene and that weird alien named Prodigy or something."
At the moment, she is more focused on Bad. A place of his own will have to wait. He sighed aloud as he began to feel hungry. "Damn…" he muttered.
"So… how is this working?" his father asked.
"Grandpa said I've connected to her somehow… but I guess I am eating for us all…" he said meekly.
"I didn't have that adaptation… would have made feeding your mother and you kids a lot easier…"
"It's weird dad,"
"Of course it is, child birth is always weird." His father muttered. "I wonder thought if you are going to go through the same thing I did, I mean, your kid is gonna be half human… right?"
He froze to the statement.
Half human… which means there is a chance that the baby could become fully human! But he didn't want to say it out loud.
"There ya are sonny boy!" Pac saw his father cringe a little as his grandfather appeared. "Been looking all over for ya, we got to talk man to man, understand?"
"Uh… sure…"
Pac rolled his eyes as his father was dragged off.
He was able to think things a little more clearly. "Perhaps I ought to tell Bad sooner than later… but I'll wait and see if Alley can help him first."
