Secret Lair, New York; 8:18 PM

In an underground lair, an arachnid kid was dodging every attacks that his nemesis delivers him. That nemesis he was fighting was none other than the infamous Green Goblin, the monster who killed Gwen Stacy years ago.

"I thought you would stay out of my way after I killed your precious Gwen, Parker!" Goblin yelled in frustration. "What makes you keep on fighting?!"

Spider-Man swings towards him and delivers a massive kick on the face, "Because she would kill me for giving up."

He continues to dodge every attacks Green Goblin delivers. Green Goblin throws a pumpkin grenade which Spider-Man evaded, caught it with his web, and throws it back to Goblin. The grenade exploded at his face causing Goblin to fell from his glider. Spider-Man walks toward him with frustrated look while Goblin attempts to summon back his glider.

"You'll pay for your crimes, Norman!" Peter said as he pulls Goblin towards him with his web.

Goblin coughs and chuckles, "No matter what you do. It won't change Stacy's death."

This angered Spider-Man as he punches Goblin across the sewers. Spider-Man runs toward him and delivers a flying kick. He gets up and delivers a right uppercut then a roundhouse kick which sent Goblin flying to a wall as he groans in pain and spits some blood from his mouth.

"Those are for Gwen," Spider-Man said as he delivers a double axe handle on Goblin's face causing him to knock unconscious. "And that... is for me."

Goblin removes his mask, spits some blood, and chuckles, "At least... I know your weakness, Spider-Man."

Spider-Man clenches his fist and repeatedly punches Goblin. The Green Goblin was dying from the series of punch as Peter doesn't show any stopping to his attacks. Suddenly, a group of heroes landed from the ground and saw Spider-Man brutally punching the unconscious Goblin.

"Spider-Man, stop!" Cap ordered which causes Peter to stop his attacks.

"Captain?" Spider-Man said as he looks back at the blood covered Goblin and his fists. He was blindly going to kill him out of rage.

"Spider-Man, you should go home, son," Cap said. "You're not well."

Spider-Man nods and wipes some blood on his nose, "Yeah... I should." he said before swinging away.

Iron Man was concerned of Peter's health as he hasn't been the same goofy and talkative web hero ever since Gwen's death. Cap wishes he could do something to cheer the kid up, he evens miss his bad jokes and puns.

"Should we help him?" Hawkeye asked in concern. "The kid's has been depressed for years, he should get support."

"But what could we do to help him? He isn't your average teenager," Cap said. "Let's worry about that later, we must deliver Green Goblin to SHIELD to answer for his crimes."

The Avengers nodded in agreement. Thor carried Goblin back to the Quinjet while Iron Man was sweeping the area in case there was something that Goblin worked on and he was right. There was a secret room behind the wall and gently pushes a button.

"A secret door. Yeah." Tony said sarcastically.

Tony enters a room where he saw a giant machine that looks like a doorway. He walks toward it and scans the doorway. While JARVIS was running the diagnostic, Tony explores the secret room and sees a book that Goblin wrote for his plans to kill Spider-Man.

"Sir, there is an amount of energy emitting from that device." JARVIS said.

"Is it like an Arc Reactor?" Tony asked.

"More like... cosmic," JARVIS answered which surprises Tony. "The patterns of the energy signatures are similar to of the Cosmic Clouds that The Fantastic Four discovered. It seems that Green Goblin attracted some of those clouds and uses them as a key."

Tony was in a state of shock after hearing the words from JARVIS, "A key to what?"

JARVIS didn't answer for a second and sighs, "A key... to another world."

Apartment, 8:24 PM

Peter was taking a bath to remove the stress and frustration after that night. He might have avenge Gwen's death, but it certainly didn't bring her back. He was slightly furious that The Avengers intervened but he was thankful that they did or he would have killed Goblin unintentionally.

"I hope he won't escape like every other villains I faced." Peter said. "Otherwise, I don't know if I can control myself if he does."

After a long period of shower, he face planted on his bed and let out a big sigh. He wonders if he should quit on being a hero as the people of New York called him a maniac and a murderer after Jameson told them that he killed Gwen Stacy at the night of her death.

"There are other heroes who does the same as me, I guess I should put down the mask," Peter said in a sad tone. "Gwen would kill me if I did, but it would be useless to continue doing this as Aunt May could be next."

There was a knock on his door. The one who knocked was the landlady. She must be here to collect Peter's rent bills which he groans about since he doesn't have the money. He was too focus on being Spider-Man that he hasn't really been focusing on his personal life. One of the reasons why he should quit being Spider-Man.

"Parker! Do you have the money?!" The landlady asked angrily.

Peter fakes a sigh, "Can I give it to you tomorrow, Miss Jenkins? My money won't arrive until tomorrow."

The landlady groans, "Fine! But if the money isn't here by tomorrow, I'll kick you out!"

She then left with loud stomps. Peter will stop being Spider-Man starting tomorrow to focus on his life, get a college degree, and apply for work. He can't work as a Spider-Man photographer for the Daily Bugle when he reaches adulthood.

"I can't make any more mistakes." Peter said as he throws his suit on his trunks and locks it.

He starts to puts all of his suits he made in the same trunk. The Iron Spider suit was placed on a box since he didn't want to damage the suit that he made. After a few minutes, all of his spider suits were stashed and locked away forever. The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is no more. The public menace disappears.

SHIELD Helicarrier, 9:20 PM

Green Goblin was in custody and was still unconscious from Spider-Man's attacks. Nick Fury couldn't believe that a teenager deformed Goblin's body though he knows that the kid did it because the death of his ex-girlfriend. On the other hand, Tony and Bruce were experimenting on the portal.

"Why would Norman Osborn create something like this?" Bruce asked. "A gateway to another world? Is that even possible to create one?"

"Reed has already invented one though with a help from Spider-Man and someone else I don't remember," Tony said. "The real question is: Why would he travel to another universe?"

Bruce begins to ponder and looks at the book Tony was holding, "Is there any information regarding to this... machine?"

Tony looks at the book and flips the pages, "None. All of pages are plans to kill Spider-Man. Gwen Stacy's murder is on the last page of the book."

"Damn, poor kid," Bruce sympathized the depressed kid. "We should help him."

"I want to help him too, Bruce, but he won't let us," Tony said. "I want him to move on but since he has a guilt complex, it is quite difficult to do so."

Bruce snickers, "If only there was some other way to help him. Maybe a brand new suit?"

"A gift is a good idea, but it should be something... personal," Tony said as he begins to think on what he should give Spider-Man, Bruce does the same. "A car? Or maybe money?"

As they were thinking of Spider-Man gift, a familiar face walks in to their laboratory without them knowing.

"Tony, Bruce, what are you two doing?" A man in a blue outfit with a 4 symbol on his chest asked which causes Tony and Bruce to snap back to reality.

"Reed? What are you doing here?" Tony asked curiously.

"I was called in by Fury after he said something about the Cosmic Clouds being use as a key," Reed answered. "Where is it?"

Tony points at the machine. Reed walks toward the machine and observes it. It was quite unusual that the the cloud that gave him and his teammates' powers is using as a key to open a doorway to another world. Multiverse has already been proven thanks to Doctor Strange and Spider-Man, and there are other ways to travel across like Doctor Strange's magic or Spider-Man's teleporting device on his web shooters which he is the only person knew about it.

"Goblin isn't just building a transport to another universe, he is building a machine to enter another universe outside of the Marvel Universe." Reed theorized.

"Like the time when the Capcom Universe 'visited' us? I guess it makes sense if you think about it." Tony said.

"Why build a machine though? Don't you have a inter dimensional machine in your tower, Doctor Richards? Why didn't he steal it?" Bruce asked.

Reed taps his chin repeatedly to think of an answer to the question, "It's probably because that machine leads to the Capcom Universe and the Marvel Universe while this one... is in another universe outside of ours and Capcom's."

"If so, I wonder what is. Should we test it?" Tony asked excitedly as there is another doorway to another universe.

"First thing about testing a newly created machine, Tony: Don't. Or not after we are 100% sure it's safe," Reed said which sadden Tony and Bruce nods in agreement. "For all we know, it could create a black hole and we would be too late to stop it."

Tony raises his hands, "All right, all right, I understand. Let's get to it then. I want to test this bad boy already."

"Sure." Reed said as the three scientists went to work on the machine.

Unknown Location, 12:00 AM

"Something's isn't right," a woman on a chair said. "His strand is fading away, what gives?"

The woman was sitting in front of a giant web which the strand has different colors. The giant web was called "The Web of Life", it's where the lives of different Spiders across different universe were shown. The woman who act as a seer was Cassandra Webb, alias Madame Web.

"Why is Peter Parker's strand fading away?" Cassandra wonders as she looks into the current life of Peter Parker and was shock on what she discovered. "He's... going to die."

A portal was created on Cassandra's lair. A man with a dark blue outfit and a red cloak steps outside of the portal. Madame Web recognizes the man and bows in respect.

"What brings you here, Strange?" Madame Web asked.

"I came here because of the upcoming death of Spider-Man, Cassandra." Strange answered and Cassandra knew it was that case.

"I thought you deal with mystic threats? Why are you concern with Peter?" She asked curiously as Strange never cares about these things unless they are a threat to Earth.

"Because Spider-Man plays a big role in the upcoming crisis. We need him." Strange said and Cassandra knew about the crisis but never knew that Peter would play a big part on it. "Hence why I need to save him from his death. What's the cause?"

Cassandra sighs, "Depression. Last night he gave up on being Spider-Man which leads him to his upcoming death by tomorrow."

"Depression? That makes sense, because of Gwen Stacy's death," Strange said as he begins to think on how to make Peter return on being Spider-Man. "I got it!"

"What is it?" Cassandra asked.

"We send him to another world outside of the Marvel Universe. I know a place." Strange said as he opens a portal where a building that looks like the letter H was shown across.

"What is that place?" Cassandra asked curiously of the new place.

"It's one of the worlds of the Jump Universe," Strange answered. "This world is full of heroes and villains. This could be a good world for him to remove his depression. What do you think?"

Cassandra was thinking whether this world could be a good place for Peter to get pass his depression and become the hero Spider-Man once again. The problem is that he needs to convince Peter to travel into this world as she made a promise that she wouldn't bring him into another world by force.

"I don't know if he'll agree to this." Cassandra doubted.

Strange snickers, "The kid has a heart of a true hero. If he sees anyone in danger then he won't hesitate to rescue them, and this world is full of danger due to the constant villain attacks."

"You're right. I hopes this works." Cassandra said.

Strange nods and gives Cassandra the address to the New York Sanctum, "Contact me when you have convinced Parker."

"Sure thing," Cassandra said before Strange waves and leaves the lair. "I hope this world will give him light once again."

In the next day, Peter went outside and begins to look for a work since he quit being the photographer of Spider-Man. It may have been a bad idea considering nobody wanted to hire him before since he was always late or busy saving everyone he sees in danger.

"This is tough." Peter said as he has been looking for a job in the past 2 hours.

Peter walks throughout the city as he passes by The Avengers Tower. He stares at it with admiration, he always wanted to be an Avenger and he turned it down before because he wasn't ready. The death of his beloved was a proof of that.

"I should find a job," He said before being teleported into a dark void. "Hello?" Peter asked in hope of a response.

A woman sitting on a chair re-emerge from the darkness. Peter recognizes her since he was always annoyed with her cryptic messages and instantly appeared in front of her.

"Why have you brought me here, Madame Web?" Peter demanded.

Cassandra hesitated to answer and sighs, "It's because of your destiny, Peter Parker."

"Hate to break it to you, but I have retired on being Spider-Man. So I have no destiny." Peter said as he walks away from Madame Web.

"And that very reason is why you are going to die an hour from now, Peter," Cassandra said which caught Peter's attention. "You gave up on being Spider-Man after you apprehended your ex-lover's killer, and it causes your death."

Peter shakes his head, "At least I'll be at peace."

"But will the innocent be at peace now that their hero has died?" Cassandra said. "They'll be fill with fear now that villains can roam around free around New York."

"The Avengers can stop them, there's no point of me becoming a hero," Peter said as he attempts to get out of the conversation.

"But they won't be able to rescue them all the time since they are far too busy with their missions," Cassandra said. "There's a reason why you makes the citizens of New York feel like they are safe... because you are the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man."

Peter wants to correct Madame Web's words of him being a true hero, but there was no point on doing so as Cassandra can see the future. She can see what words Peter will say even before he thinks of them. He wasn't sure what he did to deserves such praise from the people and Madame Web.

"I... am lost," Peter said in a depressing tone. "How am I a hero? I got Uncle Ben killed because of my recklessness and stupidity, I got Gwen Stacy killed because I wanted to stop Green Goblin before I thought of her safety, I got Spider-UK killed... because of my actions as his friend and subordinate. How am I a true hero when I'm basically the who killed them?"

Cassandra sighs, "Because they believed that you are. You just can't see it because of your guilt complex. You need... to let it go."

Peter knew that the deaths of his friends and family weren't his fault, but he can't accept it. He was forgiven by them when he accidentally used a Soul Stone to see them in the Soul World, but he still wouldn't accept that it wasn't his fault.

"Are you telling me these... because you want me to become Spider-Man again?" Peter asked since he knew what Madame Web's goal was.

She nods, "Yes, there's an upcoming crisis, Peter Parker. You are going to play a big part on it, but if you die then the world is at stake."

"Another crisis huh? Figures." Peter said as he starts to get annoyed by the the constant crisis he has been in.

Suddenly, a portal was opened and Doctor Strange comes out of the portal with a worried expression. Peter senses a danger from the other side of the portal and he can feel that Strange is slightly injured from a fight.

"Doctor Strange? Why are you here and what happened?" Peter asked curiously and worriedly.

"I thought I was suppose to drop by when I convinced Parker?" Cassandra said.

Strange walks toward them with a sigh, "The Infinity Stones are gone."

"Gone? What do you mean?!" Peter asked worriedly.

"They have been stolen from the Sanctum." Strange answered.

Madame Web and Peter were shock that the most powerful gems across the universe has been stolen from the Sanctum. Peter once saved the entire universe from Thanos by using the Infinity Stones to rewind everything and erase the memories of that event. Madame Web and Doctor Strange are the only ones that remembered that event. Doctor Strange recorded the events on his book and called the forgotten war "The Infinity War".

"How was it stolen, doc? I thought the 'Masters of the Mystic Arts' would protect it?!" Peter asked, worrying about the ones who has the Infinity Stones.

"I was caught off guard. We were caught off guard," Strange answered as he is ashamed that he failed to protect the stones. "But I know where it is. Madame Web knows where it is as well."

Cassandra widens her eyes, "Don't tell me...?"

Strange nods and opens another portal, "Peter Parker, that right there is another world outside of the Marvel Universe. I have detected that the stones are right there."

"Wait, you want me to collect the stones?" Peter said and annoyed that he was the one to collect them. "Why can't The Avengers or The Fantastic Four do it?"

"It's because they are currently busy with their stuff. An enemy from space is on its way here and they must stay on this world to protect it," Strange answered which annoys Peter. "You have no choice, Peter Parker. Many will die if the stones are on the loose."

Peter wants to refuse to be the one to collect the stones since he is done being Spider-Man, but he can't stand watching innocent people die because of his selfishness. Like Uncle Ben once said to him "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility".

Peter sighs in agreement, "Fine. But after I collect the stones, I'm done being Spider-Man. I don't care if I'm some part of the upcoming crisis."

Cassandra and Strange looks at each other worriedly since the fate of the world is in Spider-Man's hands, but they reassured each other that him being on a world full of superheroes could change his mind.

"Fine, only if you collect the stones," Cassandra said. "Good luck, Peter Parker."

"My Parker luck isn't good luck, Madame Web," Peter said. "So, when I'm going to enter this new world?"

Strange looks at the watch, "Now."

"Wait, I have to collect my suit!" Peter said, remembering that he locked up his suits.

"Don't worry. Your stuff will be on the other side." Strange reassured.

Peter sighs as he slowly walks towards the portal to another universe. He looks at the broken photo of Gwen Stacy on his hand before entering the new world.

"Into the New World." Peter said as the portal closes in front of Strange and Cassandra.

Madame Web lowers head worriedly, "Be careful, Peter Parker."

Chapter 1 Ends

This Peter Parker is a combination from the tv shows, movies, games, and comics. Mostly, movies and games though since I don't really read much on the comics nor watching the tv shows.

Okay, Peter is 38 in here and he dated Gwen Stacy after he broke up with Mary Jane about 7 years ago before her demise. Green Goblin never showed himself after he killed Gwen until now which is why Peter was enraged.

When he arrives in this world, he will be a teenager but he won't notice the change until later on. Anyway, I hope enjoy the chapter and stay tune for the next one. Babush.
